This would have been a 5-star rating IF when they left for the day that I had heat. I did NOT! Not unreasonable to expect my new $14K install would blow heat at the end of the job. It did not. When I called, the rep said that they would have a tech out first thing in the morning. Whoa!!! I just got a big dollar install today and I get to sleep in the cold again tonight??? They reacted and got a tech out within a half hour. He resolved the issue. One switch not toggled to “On” and one wire not connected. Works per design. The original installers did not test the system before they left my property. And now for what would have been a 5-Star rating if that did not go down the way it did. On a cold “see your breath” morning the crew started to show up and get the ball rolling. Courteous, clean and professional they did what they could before a MASSIVE crane showed up to remove the old unit and place the new one. Workers did a great job. The install looks very good to this layman (though I am in the construction industry and can tell good work when I see it. It looked tidy and of course, up to code). Very happy with my unit and the install. I would absolutely recommend Wagner to others (I’m sure the snafu was an anomaly).

We were having problems with our heater and he not only took the time to troubleshoot our issue, he answered all our questions, labeled our venting system, went on the roof to figure out the banging noise and he made recommendations to help our system run more efficiently. The person who took the primary call was kind and understanding. The technician Phillip was also very nice. Our issue was either from our kitchen sink or the clothes washer. He ran the snake all the way through. Couldnt find anything from the sink. Off to the utility room, couldnt really locate an issue there. But what ever he did to clean out the whole line worked. He just forgot to turn the water lines back on before he left. Very nice and good contact. Well be using them again in the future.

The response was quick, they put me on the schedule and was serviced within two days. We had a storm in area so a bit backed up which is understandable. Tech Juan Martinez came out and was knowledgeable and explained the problem and within a couple days we had a new toilet installed and done quickly and labor and parts were reasonably priced. Tech Juan was good at keeping us in the loop and communicated well. We will use Wagner again. We would recommend.

Joshua was amazing! Did a great job with great customer service! Called while trying to snake the pipe ourselves with a rental. We called Wagner and Joshua showed up before we even finished pulling the snake out! He was in and out within an hour. Joshua 10/10 Wagner 10/10!!

His attention to detail and customer service were top-notch. I highly recommend him for any electrical work!

Wagner is wonderful! Just completed a whole house repipe, so no water etc. for a month, off and on. The techs were (especially Thomas) knowledgeable, helpful, as quick as they could be, respectful of me, my house, and my animals. They cleaned up after themselves daily. They came when they said they would and came prepared!The office staff and dispatchers were on the ball and bent over backwards for me!I love this company and highly recommend them!

This is our first experience with Wagner Mechanical. They were very professional and efficient in scheduling our service call to access the problem with our refrigeration unit. A technician arrived at our home within 4 hours after we called. He gave us an explanation of the problem, along with a detailed estimate of the repair cost. He indicated he would have to go get parts but would be able to complete the repair when he returned. We were charged for a service call.We had been considering a larger capacity unit, and rather than repair, we asked the technician to direct us to next steps in getting an estimate. He called the office to see if a Comfort Advisor was available. Within an hour of his call, Blake Russell arrived at our home to discuss options for a larger unit. He spent a couple hours with us answering all of our questions, as well as working up an estimate. With Blakes years of experience in the field, he was a wealth of knowledge of the important little details. Because we wanted to go with a new manufacturer, the footprint of the old unit would not be the same. Blake clearly understood the challenge and the best way to handle this change. Having had previous estimates from other contractors, we felt Wagners final estimate was reasonable and more importantly, their knowledge and professionalism gave us confidence that they would do a good job. (Next review well let you know how the installation went.)

Service was excellent from the moment I called through the time the repair people left. When I called I had phone technical difficulties but the customer service rep called me back within 1 minute. The repair team arrived well within the expected window of time provided to me. My preference for mode of communication was understood and provided. The repair team was professional, courteous and spent time explaining to me what I needed to know about the repair, installation and continued maintenance. The repair team waited to leave until the hot water was running. I am so thankful I didnt have to wait out the weekend for a new hot water heater.

I would give Barney 5 stars for his work. He worked with us to get an estimate and then completing the work on our collapsed connection between our sewer clean out and the house pipe. He did a great job to work with us and explain what he felt was best to fix the problem.I took off a star because there seems to be a lot of communication break downs between the office, dispatch, technician, and whoever else they have answering phones. There were many times I was told I would receive a call but then I had to follow up and then relay the information that another person on their team was supposed to tell them or ask about.

Fast and efficient. The plumber Wagner sent was a real nice fella, too. Fixed the clogged drain in less than five minutes. Which is fast. Way faster than the competition, who will not be named. The last time I contacted a plumber they were slow, amateurish and did not even fix the problem. Even though I specifically told them what the problems was. They faffed about for two hours and made a mess. Did not have this problem with Wagner. Nope.

I would give the technician 5 stars, he arrived on time, was polite and knowledgeable. Our concern was taken care of in no time. The 4 stars is for company policy. We were charged the $89 diagnostic fee, but the problem of no heat was a direct consequence of the Wagner technician who installed our brand new AC in the summer turning off a switch for heat within the furnace. This resulted in no heat when we turned it on. The switch was not turned off by us and did not happen on its own. The last time the furnace had been open allowing access to the switch was a few months prior when a new A/C system was installed by Wagner.

Wow! Just had an incredible experience with Wagner and stellar boiler professional Nathan. We had a lightening strike very close to our house, then the radiant floor heating came on full blast. Nathan meticulously went through every component of the boiler system to identify possible issues, and found and repaired the impacted components (and installed new thermostats). The guy is a genius! It’s $cary when a big components go out. We know nothing about these systems and were afraid of a total replacement. Our service call ended with a straightforward repair! Integrity and skill are the two best words to describe our experience, and we’re so grateful we used Wagner/Nathan! He explained everything as he went, and left us with far greater knowledge and sense of safety than we had. Absolutely stellar experience!

Our HVAC system died during the hottest week in summer. Wagner sent a tech out immediately to diagnose. We needed a new system and Blake walked us through the best option. A team came the very next day and put it in. Lots of work including upgraded electrical. They explain everything and take photos to show you what they did step by step. Very thorough and excellent service from every team member start to finish. Definitely an excellent company you can trust.

Ive been calling Wagner for several years now to keep our hvac systems maintained and earlier this year, they replaced our swamp cooler as well. Most recently, they sent out Thomas Sanchez for a plumbing repair estimate and Andres Villanueva for a heater repair estimate. Both showed early (after calling!), had all the parts immediately or reasonably available to execute both repairs, and upon authorization, completed those repairs quickly and correctly. Both were done with their repairs before the time Id originally expected them just for estimates, so Im very impressed with their efficiency. Costs were clearly explained and reasonable (well, reasonable enough considering todays economy; I definitely dont feel gouged). Overall, Im happy with Wagner, and Ill continue to give them my business.

The customer service was fantastic. They stayed in constant communication with me from the time I called until the time some one was assigned to my job. The whole process was so quick and easy. I called around 10am and the tech was on his way by 11:30.Problem fixed by 1:00pm. I received a picture of the tech that would coming to my home ahead of time which I think is a nice touch. Steven Jaramillo and his assistant were kind and efficient. Overall great experience. Will definitely use them again and recommend this company to friends and family.

Our AC unit unfortunately went out on the 25th and Wagner was able to get us on the schedule same day which was awesome. Shawn was the technician that came out and he was exceptional. He went through the entire system thoroughly and explained what he was looking for in each test. He did find our run capacitor had failed and was likely from the compressor that would need to be replaced. He was able to replace the capacitor and get our system up and running quickly after that. Very grateful they were able to get us scheduled same day and repair the system at a very reasonable cost. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing repair or service on their system.

My water heater gave out at 3:00 a.m. and I was chatting on their website by around 6:00 a.m. Someone stayed in touch until they called to say a plumber would be out around 10:00 a.m.Nate explained everything he did to bring the plumbing up to code and explained all of the features of the water heater in detail making sure I understood what he was doing and why, and understood how to operate the new cooler. Called to have Wagner try to fix my hot water heater when the pilot went out and wouldnt come back on again. Technician pulled the burner assembly and gave it a cleaning (vacuumed the burner plate and used some abrasive material on the thermocouple). Put the assembly back into the heater but pilot still wouldnt stay lit (btw, this service cost me $400). Then proceeded to recommend replacement of the whole hot water heater at a cost of $3500! I almost bit on that but wanted to check around for better deals. Good thing I did because I came to realize all we really needed to do was replace the thermocouple assembly in the burner unit to get it working again - a $100 part vs. full replacement at $3500 ! Shame on you Wagner, first price gouging on a simple service and then pulling a bait and switch on an overpriced full replacement. Either you knowingly use these tactics or your service technicians are grossly incompetent. This was my second experience using Wagner. First was OK, although still overpriced. Second was a game-changing, never again experience. Buh bye Wagner!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout this whole process of fixing my leak in the back yard. The folks on the phone were very sweet and made sure I was seen immediately. Anthony and his partner (cannot remember his name, sorry!) were really professional and helpful with identifying the problem and working it as soon as possible. The dogs loved them as well! They were fast and effective and I appreciate them very much. Very cool guys. Will absolutely keep Wagner in mind for any and all plumbing needs in the future!

Really good communication with the office. They call and they text. All polite. The technician was very polite and super helpful. He replaced my thermostat pretty quickly and took a quick peek at the swamp cooler even though he was not there for the purpose of the swamp cooler. He was very helpful by informing me what needed to be done with my swamp cooler.

We called Wagner after another local company did nothing to solve our plumbing problem (a severe reduction in water pressure throughout the house). Wagner sent Marcus Chavez the same day we called, and he came and quickly diagnosed the problem — our pressure regulator was near failing because it was full of debris. He fixed the problem that very day and came back the next to test and fine-tune our water pressure again and build a box to contain our new pressure regulator safely and in a way we can easily access it if it ever fails. Our pressure regulator died slowly, with our water pressure growing weaker little by little over years. Our water pressure is back and stronger than ever!Wagner charged us a *very* reasonable price for the job — a fraction of what the other company gave as an estimate. They fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Im only sorry we waited so long to call Wagner!I also cant speak highly enough of the technician Marcus Chavez: he was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He came exactly when he said he would (didnt leave us waiting) and explained every step of the process. I will be calling Wagner again — and asking for Marcus — next time I have any plumbing needs!

Friendly, professional, and affordable. We have lived in our house for 34 years. This old house was built in 1947. Last Wednesday our old floor furnace decided it was done with life and went out. Our house, being poorly insulated, was like an icebox. My friend highly recommended Wagner, so I called. They came out the next day to do the estimate. It was a little less than half of what Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling quoted us, so we went with Wagner. They scheduled us to install the very next day. We went from no heat to heat in two days. They hauled off our old swamp cooler which we will no longer need anymore and we feel like we are living in the 21st century. The team was highly professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend!

Barney Gallegos and Reese Ortiz we’re the gentleman that helped us with our shower repairs and we’re very professional and punctual. They explained exactly what they were going to do and how everything was going to work in place of the repairs of in the shower and we’re extremely helpful in showing pictures on exactly what it started from beginning to end. They had very great customer service, courteous and mindful to their work ethics and surroundings. Had also been responsible enough to remind me about a eight month free check up on the work they provided. If I ever need anything again or know of anyone that needs any help that is provided by this company I would definitely recommend these two gentlemen to go help them out. - Ms. Acosta
