Ive had Stewards Plumbing out 2 times this summer for my swamp cooler. Both times they were able to fit me quickly.Both times the servicemen were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I was very happy both their service and their professionalism!I also felt that their rates were reasonable.The second time was because the motor burnt out first thing in the morning on one of the hottest days of the summer. I was grateful that they repaired it quickly and my house was cooled off before dinner that evening.I also appreciate that they send out a text message telling you who is coming to your home with photos of them. I appreciate that!They will be the company Ill call for future repairs!

I was told the shower needed an entire rebuild from another company for a possible leak and requested Stewards to come out for an estimate. Josh with Stewards examined the shower and was able to pinpoint where the water was leaking and recommended some grout repair and caulking to prevent future leaks. This probably saved thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. I appreciate their honesty and knowledge and will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs.

I just had these gentlemen add to my house to unplug a drain I just could not unplug myself.First the company sent a text message to confirm that an adult was home. Then I got a picture and short bio of the lead plumber that was going to show up.The two gentlemen arrived at the beginning of their service window. Other than a quick moment to appreciate the cats (supervisors) they went right to work.In very short order I was paying an extremely reasonable amount of money and they were out the door.

Love it when I call Stewards Plumbing and they can come out the next day. This time I needed my “clean out lines” from the house out to the sewer in the street marked (above ground) because I’m having a dead tree cut down in the front yard and having the stump ground out and I didn’t want to run into any existing pipes. I’m planning to plant a tree in its place this fall so I need to know precisely what’s underneath. And I don’t want to interrupt any existing sewer lines! James was a great service provider and he marked everything I needed with a paint material that will only be temporary. Thanks, Stewards!

Two technicians came to my home. They called me first to let me know that they were on their way. I showed them my equipment. I didn’t want to stand over them, so I told them that when they were through checking the equipment, they should come into the house and asked me to go into the garage with them. The lead technician explained everything they did. They even checked the electrical outlet and told me it was fine. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism and I would recommend Steward’s Plumbing to all of their customers.

Steward’s plumbing was outstanding! Their communication including letting us know when the technicians were coming, providing a picture and background on them, was better than we’ve ever seen with other companies. They did their work efficiently. Unlike another plumber who said we had to turn off our shower wall to fix the dripping showerhead, They installed a Kohler replacement valve, and the total cost was 200 bucks. A lot cheaper than ripping out a wall hiring somebody to re-tile after it’s fixed, etc. We are very very impressed with this company.

The technician called and showed up at the start of the block of time that they quoted me. My toilet had an unusual flush valve that I hadnt seen before. The tech recognized it, knew where to get it, got it and had it installed in less than an hour. If I had tried to do this one myself, I most likely would have disassembled more than I needed to and spent the rest of the day and part of the next getting the part(s) and putting it back together again. The replacement process that I witnessed turned out to be shockingly simple since the technician had experience and knew what he was doing. The toilet worked fine after all was done. There was no mess to clean up afterwards. Going with Stewards was a great decision and it was a reasonable amount of money well spent.

I had a tankless water heater installed by Stewards, overall the experience was great and would give a five star review except a few things caught me off guard. I wasnt aware that I had to schedule the gas company to come out, that wouldve been good to know. We were without hot water for a couple of days, not a huge deal but couldve been a little more prepared. However, the techs were awesome and very professional, bent over backwards for us and did a great job. The communication with office personnel was great. I will be using Stewards again in the future. Within an hour I received an email from the owner asking for the specs/capacity of my old heater. I replied and I received a phone call around 7am THIS MORNING telling me that they had everything in stock that I needed. By 10am this morning the Stewards truck pulled into my driveway. Friendly & efficient 2-man crew. By 2pm this afternoon the job was completed. Worksite (my garage) was left spotless. And we have HOT WATER! Barney was our latest technician and he succinctly outlined the issues, went straight to work, replaced some broken parts, and was done much more quickly than I expected. We now have a fully functioning guest shower. He left all the work areas clean (as have all the techs with the company). Weve always been super pleased with the scheduling and communication with Stewards. We know when the techs are arriving and exactly who is arriving to our house. I have so many wonderful things to say about Stewards Plumbing. We had extensive plumbing work done in fall of 2021--new tankless hot water heater, water filter, under-sink RO system, new washing machine connection box. Everyone I talked to--the folks who answer the phones to the techs who did the work, etc.--was kind, friendly, and professional. They made sure we knew what was happening every step of the way, and communicated with us if some part of the plan needed adjusting, as sometimes happens with an older house. They were also meticulous in making sure everything was up to code and would pass inspection when the time came. Their prices were also competitive, and wed gotten a lot of quotes prior to selecting a company to do the work. I will absolutely be using them again for future projects and recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, reliable plumber.

We had a big problem in our home with a broken pipe from our septic tank (yuck as you can imagine). We called Stewards Plumbing and they sent two of their people right away. They were able to find the underground leak with a camera and get the problem fixed in one day. As you can imagine, this sort of problem would have been even worse if Stewards couldnt have fixed it right away. I found their people helpful and courteous and their service was fast and efficient. I would definitely use Stewards Plumbing again.

Putting in a new waterline was a huge deal for me for many reasons; cost, disruption etc. I am old and I live alone. Having men working around here can be unnerving. However, with Rey and Max I was always comfortable. They were ridiculously polite to me and conscientious about keeping me informed. When I get the new faucet for the bathroom, I sure hope Rey will handle the installation. I can wait if necessary to have him do it. I make this request because he knows the bathroom but also because I am now very comfortable with him working in my home. Please let Rey and Max know how much I value their work on the project and their courtesy to me.I am adding to this post now that my big new water line project is really complete, as well as all the additional little problems related to the project. I was converting my bathtub to a shower. I got quotes from several plumbers but selected Stewards Plumbing as their plan of action to move the drain to the center of the floor and replacing pipes made the most sense. They wanted to reach the pipes from the below ceiling in the laundry room so we would not have to cut into the bathroom tile. I am glad that we selected this company not based on price as another place was $600 cheaper. It was a blessing in disguise. The day before when we moved the washer and dryer so they had access to the ceiling we discovered a leak. The day of our appointment, Stewards Plumbing fixed the leak as well as the original work all in the same day. That way we did not have to be without water for that long

I had a sprinkler leak in my yard that had been leaking for a week before it became apparent. I called Stewarts Plumbing for help. They confirmed my appointment the night before and emailed when they were on their way. My front yard had to be dug up to make the repair. Once the work was completed, the yard looked like nothing had happened, it was perfect! I needed a bill to provide to the city to confirm the leak and the work done. Stewarts provided exactly what I needed to get my water bill adjusted.I am very pleased with their work and the fact that they let me know what was happening in terms I could understand throughout the entire process.I would definitely use Stewarts again although I hope I dont have too, lol.

Woke up to another plumbing disaster ! Due to fianancial burden my husband has delt with this issue for years . We had a variety of plumbers come and give us outrageous estimates and couldnt afford it ! Today was a day where no matter what my husband tried the water wouldnt go down . I then called the city they came , cleaned there pipe and still ours remained the same . They educated me on how expensive and problematic it could be . I came in my house feeling overwhelmed started to look for plumbers again . Long story short I got a hold of Stewards Plumbing , made them aware of both my plumping and fianancial problems .An hour or so later two very respectful and helpful gentlemen came and fixed the issue, I was glad but upset because I didnt know how much it would be and again very limited . I knew it would be a fortune based on others estimates ! When told the price I was in shock didnt believe it , even then being as cheap as it was I didnt have it all . I was quite embarrassed because there price was already a give away and I couldnt afford it ! Chris and Chad came out to check our gas line so we could put in a gas stove, while they were here they went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. They were thorough, explained everything and their customer service was exemplary. The cost to us was about a tenth of what we were quoted by another plumber. Needless to say we will not only use Stewards again but wenwill recommed them to others.

We live in a home that was built in 1950, and we recently had to replace all of the galvanized pipes for our water - from the main line and throughout the entire house. We have lived in Albuquerque since 2008, and during that time we have had Stewards Plumbing come out for several small issues - toilets, showers, hot water heater, etc. They have always been a pleasure to work with, and this large project was no exception. The entire project took about 10 days from start to finish - 2 days of work under the house in the crawl space, 2 days of work digging trenches in the front yard, a few days in between to have the city mark gas lines and then come out for inspection, and a few small items as follow up. Luis was our main plumber, and several days he had Chad working with him. Both of them were outstanding, so friendly and courteous, as well as hard-working, often staying late in the day to make sure they reached a point where they could reconnect our water so that we never were without water for a night or over the weekend. Of course, dealing with a home of this age, we experienced some issues, including some that created confusion with the initial estimate, but Eric came by the house and sat down with us to explain the changes, and worked with us to make it affordable. We would highly recommend Stewards Plumbing to anyone in the Albuquerque area - and have already done so to our friends!

Our 73-year-old water main started leaking in mid-July. We turned it off at the main and called Stewards, who sent a team the same day. They confirmed that the leak was not in or under the house, then recommended a leak location service. ABQ Leak Locater came out and found two leaks. Because Covid-19 has left Stewards without enough technicians, they were not able to start digging right away; however, they came out the same week and started work. Moreover, they left us with a temporary water supply during the entire replacement of the water line, which took several days. Finally, they repoured concrete on the walkway that theyd had to remove to get to the water pipe. They even replaced the slates from a walkway that theyd had to move. Stewards shows up when they say they will, the works costs what the estimate shows, and their workers are uniformly professional and friendly. We have used Stewards since 2001, at both of the houses we have bought in Albuquerque, and we have never been disappointed--in fact, we have often been surprised and gratified by them going beyond what we expected.
