Highly recommended.

I’ve used Rick’s Heating and Plumbing multiple times now, and each experience reaffirms why they’re my go-to choice. From the start, you can tell this is a company that truly cares about its community. The owner is hands-on, and it’s clear that he prioritizes not just providing excellent service, but also building lasting relationships with customers.Recently, I had a sewer line clog. I’d already had another plumber come out, but they didn’t do much and didn’t clear both clean-outs. I couldnt figure out why my cooler wouldnt start up, and not only did Jorge showed up an hour early, but he came to help on Memorial Day. He figured it out immediately and then took the extra steps to fit in my new filters and quick maintenance issues to fire it up for me. Jorge is very professional and quick to answer any questions ypu might throw at him. I cant thank Ricks Heating and plumbing enough for their seller work and quick response time. My family had a wonderful slumber last night, nice and cool!I highly recommend them. 👌

Call, Ricks, heating and plumbing. I Inform them that my daughters heater was not working, they sent someone out on the weekend. Even though they were closed and it was a holiday. I was extremely surprised and pleased because they weren’t supposed to open until Monday. had it repaired in an hour, didn’t charge for overtime or call out fee. Jorge there technician. Was extremely talented, gracious and helpful. The owner called me personally, while he was doing bills on the weekend. Said he saw my text and would sent someone out. I called Ricks Heating & Plumbing Co. after having a disastrous experience with another plumber. Ricks not only solved pur problem in less than and hour (something our previous plumber chalked up to faulty equipment that would require an expensive part and additional fees) but was polite and courteous. The experience level showed as they made quick work out of something I thought was a total disaster. I would give 10 stars if that was an option. If you need a good, reliable, and highly experienced professional then I would use Ricks. Donavaughn was the gentleman that worked on our boiler and I would request him if hes available. I would give them a 4.5 but dont do 5 because it means there is no room for improvement, which is just silly.May 2024 Update -Ive done several large projects with Ricks at this point and here is what I have learned.1) They havent been the cheapest or most expensive2) Their recommendations for parts/systems are solid and the mark up is reasonable. They havent pushed the top end of anything and have even coached not to invest the extra money.3) When things go wrong (in my experience something always goes wrong with any project and one can only hope its a small thing) the issue will be dealt with in an expedient manner.4) They dont leave you hanging if something comes up that will make them late.5) The only challenge Ive had is that it can take a couple of attempts to get a job started. I believe this is because Ricks is truly a family business with old-fashion values. Family comes before new business so be patient while waiting for Emerson to get back to you but not too patient. He will appreciate the reminder. Again, I have only encountered this trying to get a quote and onto the calendar. It hasnt been with every job but it is worth mentioning.*****Thank you to the Ricks team for being so responsive and saving me a lot of $$.So, long story made short. After Ricks did several smaller jobs for us, we had them install a Seeley Breezair (what a difference!). I end up in the hospital and my wife calls TLC for a swamp cooler startup. TLC comes and leaves but doesnt put the sides on correctly. I call them back and they claim that the install was wrong and that the sides couldnt be closed because the pan had warped. Note that the cooler was working fine.I called Ricks on June 29th and Emerson had the guys out the day after July 4th, which was great given short notice and a long holiday weekend. They showed up early, went up on the roof, and came back down with video showing how easy it is to take the sides off and put them back on.Im not sure what was up with TLC but thank you to the Ricks team for being so responsive and saving me a lot of $$.

I honestly cant say enough good about these guys. No one wants to call a plumber, but when you have to you want someone you can trust. Ricks Heating & Plumbing Co were very honest, straightforward and friendly during the entire process. I was given options, a direct quote and after I decided (in which prices were very straight forward on what was being done and charged), they took tons of extra steps during the job to ensure I was familiar with the system they installed. When everything was complete I asked what I owed since basically every other service Ive ever dealt with nickels and dimes the price up another couple hundred, but not them. The quoted price was the final price. Stop your search here and give them a call, you wont regret it.

I can’t say enough what a pleasure it is to find a company who gets what customer service means. Although I was provided the wrong number by my warranty company, Edison still took my call, agreed to call the warranty company and help ensure my claim was covered even though his company was not in their network. I live out of town and he gave me comfort that he would get someone out the next day. True to his word, Jorge shows up and not only did he solve the problem, he helped my renters with step by step instructions on how to correct the issue if it happened again. I hate having issues with HVAC, but if anything happens again, Rick’s Heating and Plumbing is first in my list to call. Thank you!!!!

I called and left a message on a Saturday to ask for an estimate to do some plumbing work at a house I just purchased. I got a call from one of Ricks Plumbing guys Emerson on a Sunday. He told me he had just come in to check messages and saw that I had called. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone for the work requested and sent a professional young man named David out the next day to do the work. David was very knowledgeable and his work was impeccable. I dont normally leave ratings but these guys are good at what they do and I recommend them to anyone in need of reasonably priced plumbing. I will be using them again to finish another project in the near future. A++ rating

Its hard to find enough good things to say about Ricks Plumbing. They are prompt, professional, very good at what they do and are competitive with their pricing. In addition they remember who you are. Recently our evaporative cooler quit working, when they returned my call they said Mr Capps, you are a good customer, we will work you into the schedule and get you up and running today and they did! As busy as they are, that was awesome!

We received exceptional, professional plumbing services from Jorge at Ricks Plumbing and Heating. Jorge was professional, dedicated, skilled, and punctual. Had we known wed have such quality service at a fair price wed have contacted Ricks sooner. Jorge came out to our home fix a leaking shower bathtub faucet. These parts are uncommon as our house is very old. Jorge located the parts which were rare. If he couldnt find them he said hed have fabricated them for us. He fixed a leak which we had for years and replaced parts which were almost impossible to find. We were so impressed with Jorge, we scheduled him to return the following week to replace our kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. Our sink was in terrible condition. Our pipes below were leaking and we had two buckets to catch the water. It was kept together with rubber bands, plastic gloves and caulk. Jorge tackled one of the worst sinks, pipe situations hed ever encountered. He worked tirelessly and got the job done. We now have a gorgeous sink and faucet, and no leaking pipes! Its no exaggeration to say he made a big difference in our lives. My husband and I are now looking for projects to have Jorge back. Thank you Jorge! Thank you Ricks!

Many times when I call for a repair man or routine maintenance I get nervous. You never know what the price is going to be or what they are going to find. I did not have that nervousness with Rick’s. The technicians clearly were candid and honest and explained exactly what they were doing to maintain my a/c. I learned so much from them. If I recall correctly their names were Rick and Thomas. I will be calling Ricks Heating every year for my routine maintenance. I am fully confident I am being given great service at a great price.

My old refrigerated unit was top of the line when it was installed by another company, but had been dying for years. Ricks was the 3rd HVAC company I called during a hot June. The first two started a hard sell to replace even before inspecting my old unit, basically from the front porch. I later found the hasty inspections and misdiagnosed repairs did little.Ricks was referred to me by a relative very happy with his conversion from swamp to AC. They impressed from the start with a thorough review of the old unit including what could be saved and giving good, better, best options. If I had said to save the old unit they would have kept it patched together for another year or two. I ultimately decided to go with a new unit, again with Ricks providing good better best options, all reasonable, letting me decide based on budget. I went with their recommended York unit.When their supplier let them down, Ricks more than made this right with several solutions that had to have been costly to them. They stayed firm to our original and reasonable agreement. Installers were courteous, Covid safe, and extraordinarily willing to explain in as much detail as my geeky mind could handle.After the sale and successful install, Ricks contacted and let me know about some rebates they became aware of, saving me $hundreds.HVAC work isnt cheap. The knowledgeable workers deserve fair pay and quality units cost money. Ricks stood out as an excellent VALUE. I am sitting here cool on a near 100 degree day, very happy with our transaction.

Ricks came out and fixed it the first time and, as an out-of-state landlord, he kept me up to date on everything and answered all of my questions. Outstanding work and even better customer service. Jorge did a health check on my A/C unit. I was concerned about unnecessary repairs and cost. Jorge went through my system, ensured everything was working properly, replaced a single part which need to be replaced (I saw the readings on the capacitor and agreed that it needed to be replaced), and charged me a very reasonable amount.Since I was the owner/builder of my house I know its systems well. Jorge reviewed the vent flow, temperature differential, and overall health of the entire system. He spent about an hour with me and I feel he did an excellent job and thoroughly explained everything he did.I will have them back in the fall to perform a health check on the furnace.If the quality of their service is consistent, they will remain my go to plumbing and heating company.

Ricks helped me with a propane to natural gas conversion. I worked with Donovan, Scott and Thomas. With the help of these three professionals the process was painless and efficient. Donovan was intuitive to all our needs and knew what questions we were going to ask before we asked them! Donovan, Scott and Thomas efficiently converted all our appliances quickly. Donovan is attune to customers safety concerns and took the time with us to ensure we are comfortable with the new natural gas service. I recommend Ricks and plan to use Ricks in the future for my plumbing needs.

If I could give them a higher than 5 star rating, I would. Both my swamp cooler and furnace died at about the same time and on top of that my water heater was on its last legs. I spoke with several companies, including The Home Depot and Lowes prior to speaking with Ricks Plumbing. The prices from the various companies varied, with The Home Depot and Lowes being by far the most expensive.What set Ricks Plumbing apart is:- They were the least expensive, yet installed high quality equipment. Three of the companies i spoke with gave me quotes more than twice the amount Ricks Plumbing quoted me. One even said they had to hire a crane! (I have a two-story house).- They answered all my questions and concerns quickly.- They did not try to sell me stuff I did not need. They were open and upfront about all the pros and cons of the various options and approaches to the installation of the units to our particular house. (We were switching from swamp cooler to an air conditioner).- I knew exactly what I was buying and what they were going to do prior to signing anything.- They were all very friendly.I highly recommend them to all my friends and family!

Ive never had a better experience with any other plumbing company. Im a 1st time home buyer and my water heater from 98 was on the verge of bursting and costing me a lot of money and stress. Donovan took the time to make sure I had everything I needed. He even gave me advice about what I need to do with my furnace before winter and additional future upgrades for my water heater if I were to sell. Very reasonable price for a single income household with 2 small kids. His brother (I never got his name) was so nice on the phone and made me feel better about the whole thing. They did an excellent job and Im going to be recommending them. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong here, but if it does Ill be calling again!

Great small business. Very responsive and customer friendly! I called the number on the website and they called me back almost immediately. ( the only plumbing company out of 5 that I called that called.) Jorge, came to my house very late in the same day, did not have the part, went to a plumbing store and stayed until 7 to fix my problem. Like I said they went above and beyond! Hopefully I don’t need a plumber again but if I do, Rick’s Plumbing is my go to!

Wow. Just WOW. Seriously amazing service. Talk about professional and going above and beyond! We were blown away. These guys were professional and personable. They even invited my 8 year old to help them fix the AC. They taught him all about the tools and let him do some of the work. He was eating it up! They also gave me some DIY tips for when the next part breaks (they could hear the other motor was getting old and they knew we wanted to try and fix it ourselves). They were honest and strait forward. The cost was the best in town as well. We’ll never use anyone else for our plumbing, heating or cooling needs.

Not only were the prices more reasonable, they were easy to work with! After the toilets, I had Ricks winterize my swamp coolers and theyre in the process of doing (long ignored) maintenance on my boiler. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ricks was sent out to us by a Home Warranty Co. Which our Landlord uses.In the beginning it was difficult due to the people we were communicating with and what was actually being relayed to Ricks. That was very frustrating. Once Emerson starting looking into it, it starting coming together. It was a long process but once everyone was on the same page, I realized how far the truth or nessicity was being streched between the landlord, Home Warranty Co and what was being paid for. Once Ricks got the monies needed, their service was impeccable. I highly recommend Ricks and a stiff drink for the rest.

Rick’s was at my house within an hour of my initial call, when other plumbing companies told me they couldn’t get me in for at least a week. The plumber that came was very nice and knowledgeable and didn’t charge me at all for a diagnostic visit to my home. He informed me that I needed new toilets and let me know where I could buy the “best value” toilets in town. He also informed me that the city was offering a rebate on those toilets and encouraged me to take advantage of that. After Rick’s installed my new toilets (which was a quick, easy, and professional experience), I was informed by the city that they were no longer offering rebates. When I informed Rick’s Plumbing of this, they happily sent me a check in the amount of the rebate, since the information they had given me was no longer accurate. Also, communication with Rick’s is top notch! Emerson answered the phone right away every time I called and replied to my emails within an hour or two. Highly recommend using Rick’s Plumbing and will use them for all my future needs!

Exceptional work, they spent plenty of time and werent rushed at all they were very interested in helping us save as much money as possible while getting our heater to work again. They were honest and very down to earth and took the time to explain what they were doing and exactly why they were doing it. Told us exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced and what would still be fine if it were fixed without being replaced. Total price after they were gone and everything was fixed was around $500. We had other people come a few days prior and quote us replacement costs close to $15,000-20,000 due to everything needing to be replaced. We would later find out that we had received a lot of inaccurate and extreme information. Needless to say we needed a second opinion, and Ricks heating and plumbing was the best second opinion we could have got! They were recommended to us by several friends that use them. We will be calling them for all our future heating and plumbing needs.

I am impressed with Ricks. I had a large leak from my air conditioner. Called other plumbers not one would come out for 3-4 weeks. I found Ricks-same day service. I had to turn off my air to stop leak. When Ricks found out I had no air the came out and fixed it enough I could use it. Waiting for a time they could fix all the issues, the next day. They are concerned about customers. Very professional and polite. Went through everything that was a problem and how they would take care of it. Ricks Will be my forever plumbing company.

Originally I had used a different company to service and fix my evaporative cooler. 2 months later I called Ricks to fix my dishwasher because it wasnt getting power. After Jorge fixed it, he asked if there was anything else he could fix. I told him about the evaporative cooler not cooling the house. Jorge was able to give us cold air! He also showed me the belt he replaced that the first company had supposedly replaced. It was extremely cracked and in disrepair. Obviously, the first company had not replaced the belt but I had been charged for it. From now on, I will only call Ricks for everything!

I have to say the positive reviews about Ricks are spot on. they finished installing a new tankless water heater for us recently, and can say without hesitation theyre honest, hard working and do quality work.- They came out initially and were able to give us a quote the same day, and throughout the install they stuck to it.- They didnt try to up sell me on any of the tankless addons that I brought up with them. They were honest about what they felt was and was not worth the additional cost.- they pointed out a venting change that would be needed to ensure we met code and passed inspection, that none of the other companies we got estimates from brought up.- they discussed options with us regarding things like the condensation drain, so we had some say in some of the required modifications.- there were usually at least two people here, for almost two solid days, working hard the entire time to get the install done right.- they were very professional, but friendly- they were always on time and gave us regular updates.- Since we have a very high risk child, they wore masks while here, and were even concerned enough to ask that our son was upstairs before coming in each day.- they followed up with us soon after to make sure everything was working well and to get us paper work for our rebate.- the quality of the work they did looks great and we are incredibly happy with our new tankless system.I honestly just cant say enough positive things about them. everyone from the folks that were doing the work onsite to the folks in their office that helped setup the appointments and take care of payment, were just awesome. well be using them going forward with maintenance and any other future issues we have.

Extremely satisfied with both work orders.

Thomas from Ricks Plumbing showed up the first time to repair my waterheater. He did not charge for arriving on site. Spent company time to locate the needed part. Since the part wasnt available in town, he helped me order the needed part. But the replacement part didnt solve the problem. Ended up replacing the old water heater with the professional version of Rheem product line. I did verify the quality and checked the replacement and installation costs with various plumbers. Didnt find anyone to do the job better, faster and cheaper than Ricks Plumbing. The installation passed city inspection without any hitch. I highly recommend Ricks Plumming and will do business with them again.
