Amazing Company - Lifesavers!We were without water for two weeks because of a water main break, and Stutzman Services really showed up, literally, when we needed them to! The Plumbing team that helped our family with a complete home repipe was incredibly skilled, thoughtful and considerate. We unfortunately had a bad persistent leak from old pipes in the slab foundation and Mark was able to get us quoted and scheduled quickly, and even worked with us financially by having loan options available to us. Ive been using Stutzman Services for my well service for the past 10 years at two different properties and have always been very pleased with their work. This time I needed to replace my well pump. My well is very deep and the pump sits at 480, so three technicians spent one day pulling the old pump and piping and the next day setting the new pump and piping, then hooking it up to a pressure booster and an iron filter. They looked back through their service records and found more information about the existing installation and my well specifications. The three technicians who worked on the job were experienced, meticulous, and friendly. They finished on time and I couldnt be happier.

Totally happy with their service. Doug came out to replace a problematic 40-yr old hose bib that I could not do myself (cuz it was inside the wall of our house and I didnt want to risk creating any leaks INSIDE the wall) - and then another, impromptu, which I *could* have done myself (access was easier) but since he was here, had all the parts/tools, and was willing - it was a no-brainer to have him do that one as well. Very careful, thoughtful about the process, and efficient. Stutzman Services was recommended by my contractor on another job, and the recommendation was sound! Appointment totally easy to set up, got that text when he was on his way (with his picture and arrival time - read about this in another review; a thoughtful little customer service touch!). I seldom write reviews/recommendations, but felt these guys merited one.

My hot water heater which is 8 years old, spit and sputtered before it died. By the time it died it was Friday. I came home from work and started calling around for a plumber. I called 5 different highly rated companies and ask for an estimated to replace a thermocouple. We dont give estimates over the phone was the response.When I got to Stuzmans Plumbing OMG they gave me an estimate AND I had a plumber, Kent, at my house in 20 minutes. They sent a text with his picture and current tracking location. My mind was blown.Next after Kents diagnosis negated my thermocoupler idea, he was patiently on hold with the manufacturer for over 45 minutes. Gave them all the information they needed, another lengthy process, and arranged expedited shipping from the east coast, I think. Then because of Thanksgiving looming the following Thursday he had the office block off 2 time slots before Thanksgiving weekend just in case the parts showed up.By some miracle I had hot water MONDAY! I found out ater the fact that the parts warehouse was closed Saturdays and Sundays.A MIRACLE... Thanks Kent!Just call them they are the best!!!

Great service. Prompt, knowledgeable, friendly technicians. A little pricey compared to other quotes i received, but you get what you pay for. I feel confident in their work and will use again for smaller ticket items. I had my fridge hooked up to water and a single bowl kitchen sink installed with a complete re-plumbing under neath. This was 850 dollars. I was quoted 4015 dollars for 65 gallon electric hot water install, including the price of the HW tank, a Bradford White. For the well pump, a complete inspection and replacement of gauge, nipples, and pressure switch was 425 dollars.

Low water pressure to irrigation sprinklers out of well house. The Service man was very helpful and knowledgeable. I have him a 10 for his service to me. However he left the tablet in the van and it got to hot and wouldnt let me pay for the service. So I suggested that he put it in the upright freezer that was in the garage. Which he did and after a few minutes he was able to access the tablet and I paid the bill. A new lesson for him.

Kent and his assistant did a great job! We had an old traditional water heater that came with the house and was starting to rust out. Weve had tankless water heaters at our other houses and really like them, but we were concerned that with having a gas stove that the gas line wouldnt be wide enough. Kent got into our attic and verified the pipe was wide enough coming into the house and that he would be able to add a wider pipe the rest of the way. The whole process from the first call to the installation took less than two weeks. The other staff we spoke with at Stutzman were very professional and responsive. We couldnt be happier with our new tankless water heater.

We had Stutzman services re-plumb our whole house. Brent Stutzman himself came to give us the bid, and we learned a lot from him and he offered many good solutions to problems that might come up. His crew, Kent and Dakota came and in 3 days did the whole house. They were very professional and delightful to have working in the house, even though it is inconvenient to have the water off. They finished everything and took the time to explain everything as they did it. When they finished everything was back in place and working perfectly. Now we have the peace of mind knowing that our plumbing is in good shape for the next 50 years.

Amanda was very responsive in helping us schedule and notifying us at every step. Aaron was friendly and professional and helped to correctly diagnose our leak issue. Doug totally gutted our Navien unit and replaced the heat exchanger, a very complex task that was never meant to be accomplished hanging on a wall. Doug stayed late to get it repaired and returned the next day to make sure it was working safely and correctly. Doug and Aaron communicated complex warranty information to the manufacturer, including sending pictures, that made our warranty claim effective and easy.Stutzmans stuck by their quoted price, even when the going got tough, they have earned our respect, trust, and future business.

Had a broken pipe coming from our well because of the freeze. Had to shut off water to our home. Called at 9:30 am and they came out and fixed it as soon as they could. Back up and running water by 12:30 pm. Great service. Update: On 6/6/23, they came out and did the maintenance and repair on our 2 Rinnai water heaters. On time, great service and now my hot water is back up and running great : )UPDATE. 10/18/2023. Their staff just did the servicing on my water system (filter and softener). They also installed a shut-off valve for the house in an easier location for me to access. Great work!!!Update: 10/21/2024. Servicing on my water system again. Awesome work as always : )

I called Stutzman Services to repair a water line that broke during a winter storm. They were originally scheduled to arrive on Monday but had an opening and arrived on Friday, three days early! This is a good thing when you have no water! The technicians name was Mark. He was prompt, courteous, and quickly located the broken pipe and repaired it. I could not have asked for better service.

My sewer line became clogged just past the sink. I couldnt use the kitchen sink, dishwasher, or washing machine without water flooding out the drain pipe for the washing machine. I called Stutzman when they opened at 8am. They scheduled me for a 2-5pm slot same day. The plumber was actually able to come earlier and arrived about 12:20. They provided a link with the plumbers picture and name as well as estimated time of arrival with a map to watch the progress. Adam was able to clear out the clog within 20 minutes or so. He was polite and explained everything. No mess was left. Best of all, everything is working now! Great service. Would highly recommend.

The two service technicians that came to work at my house were great. They introduced themselves and asked me to show them the issues. I showed them the three issues that I needed addressed. They gave me a fair assessment and appraisal up front. I was fine with their price and the way they would address the problems. Aaron and Steely worked quickly and were done in less than an hour. They went over what they did (exactly what their assessment was) and I paid the bill. I highly recommend this company and plan on using them for any future issues related to plumbing.The appointment was made a week before and the person at Stutzman who assisted me was courteous and helpful. I was given a courtesy call the day before the appointment I was also called by the service technician before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. A 2-4 pm window with them arriving at 2! Not bad.

We had a water emergency. We called all the plumbers we could find in the Lebanon/Sweet Home/Albany/Corvallis/Philomath area. They either could not get to us for a few weeks or they did not answer their phone. Stutzman Services answered their phone on the first ring and immediately transferred us to the plumbing division. The operator said they did not have anything available but she promised to call us in a couple of hours if someone came free. Well, they did and she did and it was awesome. The professional they sent, Aaron Bowers, could not have been more professional or knowlegable. He immediately found the issue (very different from what we thought was wrong) and fixed it. It was a broken water line outside our house and our city water meter was spinning around very fast. Yikes. Hope the City of Lebanon will see what happened and not charge us for the unused water. Our hot water heater started leaking 2 days ago, we called on 5/29/24, and were oh so fortunate to schedule an install of a new hot water heater on 5/30/24. This unit is located in a very narrow space in our garage next to the furnace!! Stutzman staff took on the challenge, went to work, and replaced the old leaky hot water heater! Doug was very professional and personable explaining how they would approach this task as well as reviewed the what was done when finished. Thanks so much!!We lost hot water late on a Thursday evening. I called Friday am hoping that one of their Plumbing Techs could squeeze us in to their schedule for Friday. Hannah was so helpful during my initial call indicating that they would try to have someone come out todaty (Friday). She called at 4:00 pm letting me know that Kent was on his way to our house to assess the situation. He quickly determined that we had a broken hot water pipe under the house and said that he was ready to get the job done. How incredible is that late in the day let alone a Friday. The work also included replacing a valve on top of the hot water heater which is located in a very small corner space in the garage. He definitely had to work past 5:00 pm to get the job done. We so appreciate him doing so as we have hot and cold water plus the hot water heater is working great! Thanks a million, Kent! I had technicians out to look at my ancient water heater and pressure pump for the well, and they were friendly and helpful. The well technician was extremely knowledgeable about all the hardware and functions of my system, despite it turning out to be cobbled together from the 40s to the 70s. He ran extensive testing on the pressure tank and its attendant fixtures, as well as the pump itself and the wiring between the two. He found and resolved some issues that would have shortened the pumps lifespan. He taught me how to check various parts and do routine maintenance myself. He was up front about the potential longevity of the system and what he was not able to determine given the limitations of the old hardware. He readily answered all my questions about risks, safety, and how soon they could replace the system if it died suddenly. He offered very helpful information on how I could narrow down other potential trouble areas in the plumbing. I only hope I can remember it all! Even a general estimate for a replacement entire pump system came in at maybe half what I was expecting.The water heater techs had a much less in-depth conversation, as it was simply in need of replacement, but they were able to answer my questions about the new tank features and tank vs tankless systems. And the full quote for tank and replacement labor came in much less than I was expecting.The entire time the team was courteous, communicative, and a pleasure to do business with. I received calls before each tech headed my way, along with links sharing their current location on a map. They were all friendly with my dog, who was excited to meet new friends and closely supervised their work. *laugh*Stutzman has more than earned my business. I will happily turn to them for any future needs. Thank you!

Our plumber, Jake, was fantastic! He is super competent, very honest, and his work is superior. He was very respectful of our home and fixing things in a caring way as though it were his own home. His integrity is spotless, in that he answered all of our initial questions very truthfully and did not try to sell us any service we didnt need. It is also great that Stutzman offers a free consultation. At this consultation, Jake looked at our garbage disposal carefully and said it had been installed properly and also evaluated our upstairs shower mechanism, suggesting that the few drips we have after the water is turned off didnt really require a new cartridge. Yesterday I found a leak on the shutoff valve on the incoming line in my basement. I was able to get the leak under control and had Stutzman come by to replace the ancient shutoff valve. Jake & Kent just left after repiping the ENTIRE HOUSE! I couldnt be more thrilled! The job was done quickly, efficiently, professionally, and CLEANLY! (Id hardly know theyd even BEEN here! Left the place just like they found it [except with nice new PEX pipes]!) Besides knowing their stuff and doing a WONDERFUL job, they fixed some (annoying) problems (loose handle on faucet, replaced toilet innards, exchanged shower heads, etc.) that were not included in the estimate! Both techs were friendly (allowing me to babble away!) and I had NO qualms about leaving them alone in the house to work while I went next door to do chores and be with my dogs. Weve had a water problem with water collecting in our water meter box. The city initially indicated that there must be a leak on our side of the meter. Stutzman was responsive and also noted that there was a large leak from the city main to our meter. City has to come out tomorrow and take care of things. There are lots of issues with underground wires, cables, power, etc. Since Stutzman has already cleared the way for a new water line from our meter to the house, they will return when the city resolves its problem.

He explained the price up front and discussed the possible issue and the time it should take to resolve the problem. He asked if I wanted to have the work done before starting. They were fast getting a scheduled install day and were upfront with us on other concerns we had they had no problems explaining to me the difference between water pump and water heater (fyi water pump is they hybrid) and even the pros & cons to a tankless system. The serviceperson, Steve, was absolutely stellar. Five stars is not enough. I appreciate the timely manner in which I was scheduled and could not have asked for a better person to do my water heater install. He had to work very hard and carefully to remove the old and then install the new water heater with so little maneuver room and poorly placed water lines by manufactured home company. He never gave up and was able to remove old tank then put new one in. He was very pleasant every step of the way and definitely knew his job. It was a pleasure to meet him and have him do my install, I feel very secure with his work. Stutzman most certainly deserves five stars for having such dedicated service people that are so knowledgeable and pleasant. We can recommend Stutzman with the highest rating possible in all areasof the plumbing services they supplied at our home and property..They ran their business like an excellent company should. From the first contact with Brent to discuss the extent of the job at our home to the last day they were on the property completing the work, they were absolutely first rate.Work needed was replacing all the conduit in our 1950s era home as well as supply lines connected to the city water main, and supply connections to the property sprinkler system, (in total, four underground drilling operations to connect from the city main), two water heaters and several faucet and shower connections replaced. It was an extremely complicated and extensive job, with many possible complications. Three excellent Stutzman employees, Kent, Jay, and Mark handled all their areas inside and outside with excellent skills. The drilling service (Willamette Drilling), who handled the underground tunneling were amazing and completed a very difficult and possibly problematic job with what seemed effortless excellence. Our home is 30 feet below street level, terraced, with extensive rock work and etc., etc.They were on site, in home and on the property for one week. This allowed me to become acquainted with them and Stutzman business practices well enough to know that they are substantial craftsmen, and good men, working for a caring company who does what they say and go the extra mile when needed. Job was finished on time and on budget.

Outdoor curtain drain sump pump had failed. The team arrived 5 days earlier than originally scheduled. This was a good thing since I had water going under my home and this drain is essential to divert it. They diagnosed the issue and replaced the pump all within about 3 hours. A little more expensive than I had imagined, but so go things these days. Good work and a friendly crew!
