Yesterday (Sunday 12/15/24) my husband and I were battling a clogged kitchen sink. I was frantically calling plumbers near me. A-Team immediately responded, got me in the very next day! Alex was who came to fix my issue and he was very nice, he even cleaned up his own mess! They came when they said they would, they responded immediately when I sent a text. Absolutely great experience! I could not recommend them more! Whatever plumbing need you have call A-Team! They will fix you right up! Thank you so much for the promptness!

I would highly recommend A-Team Plumbing for your home or business. They recently completed a water line replacement project for my father who has Alzheimers. I live in another state, contacted them as to their plan to fix his water line and was very pleased with their plan and responsiveness. I happened to be at Dads when they arrived, on time, to begin the repair. They didnt waste any time in getting to work and completed the job as planned. Unfortunately I had to leave before they finished, but in a phone conversation with Dad shortly after they the job was complete, he indicated they did a great job and even stopped to talk with him afterwards. That means a lot that they took the time to talk with Dad, he really responds to those interactions. We will definitely use them in the future for his plumbing needs.

We have been using A-Team for years and they are great! Every time we call they are very responsive (usually within the hour), and, most importantly, they do quality work. We live in an old house, so they have been very transparent and honest about our plumbing that needs attention, as well as future problems we may encounter down the road.Recently, we had a major pipe break under part of our house and the driveway, which left us without water. A-Team was out there immediately assessing the situation, and finding a feasible solution by rerouting the pipe to keep the intensive labor and costs down. With the Thanksgiving holiday looming, they fit us into their busy schedule and got the job done in a day and a half! We are so grateful they made our job a priority.I highly recommend A-Team plumbing. They are friendly, affordable, and they do QUALITY work. We have used them again, and again for good reason!

Rob, the owner is great. I left a voicemail on a Sunday regarding my mothers hot water tank emergency. She lives two hours away from me, and I was attempting to help her. Rob called back right away, and continued to communicate with me through the process of getting the information that he needed so that he could replace the tank. He and his daughter guided us through the process, asking for the necessary information and providing us with the information that we needed to know, and he installed a tank for her the very next morning. Rob worked with us long distance through phone interaction and texts, also calling my mother to keep her in the know regarding installation, cost, location, his estimated arrival time, etc. Rob also called me the next morning after he finished putting in my mothers hot water tank. He told us to call whenever she needed help because he performs various tasks, and enjoys working with his clients. It is so reassuring to know that we can call A-Team Plumbing and More, and that we dont have to call several people in hopes to get reliable, safe, and friendly help for my mom. Having a familiar maintenance person at the door (which was the entrance that I indicated in my instructions/suggestions that Hayley and Rob noted and remembered) who treats my mother with respect and communicates with both of us is such a great feeling. Robs kind and quick service made my life and my moms situation so much easier, and now I know my mother and I have someone to call who answers back and continues to communicate with us through the process. Hot water heater gave up the ghost on a Monday morning. I called A-Team and didn’t get an answer but they got back to me promptly through text and explained that they were on the other line and asked how they could help. I explained my predicament to them over text and they said they could be here Wednesday. Not ideal but no surprises there. Soon after we got things scheduled they texted back that a spot had opened up for that day and that they could have someone to my place soon. I took them up on that, he arrived within 30 minutes and had the old tank out and new one installed and in working order in under three hours (not bad for a one person crew). He was swift, clean, respectful, and tidy. I appreciate A-Team reaching back out after I called and I’m thankful it worked out the way it did to be able to have it done the same day. I know that’s a rare thing. Extremely satisfied!

5 stars are not enough for A-Team, I think they’re my favorite business in Athens even! (But I’ve got a lot of plumbing 😁). I had a sudden severe sewage flood on a Friday at 9pm. They kindly texted me through the steps to stop it, and came out at 8am the next morning to fix it. They’ve been efficient, happy to share tips and advice, and very easy to work with in all my interactions with them. Highly recommend!

First off, I called everyone within a 30 mile radius, and A Team is the ONLY company that actually called me back. My guess is that a lot of companies are either short-staffed or just not hungry enough, or both. I needed a kitchen faucet replacement for my elderly parents, and A Team got us an appointment date, gave us the estimate and even pictures of the replacement faucet they would use (by default) all well in advance of the appointment. Probably half the price of what Roto Rooter or some mega biz wouldve charged. They were very accessible to me the entire time (even via text). The service was phenomenal -- very smooth, no BS. Overall, these guys are refreshingly straightforward and honest. So relieved and grateful that my parents were taken care of! THANK YOU!!

One cannot fully express the relief of having these guys show up and make things better.. .make things work... make sure its the way it should be. Oh. The A-Team plumbing crew were very responsive. I called on a Monday and had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday morning. Rob addressed all of my questions, explained things and recommend his best suggestions for brands and more we should use. He came to our house and installed everything and replaced the old stuff then called me later since I was at work to explain everything he did and how things would work etc.We have an older home and he even offered tips on how to improve things around the house with the shut offs.I was very pleased with the work, the price, and how accommodating and quick they were able to fit us in. I called on a Sunday, and had a response not long after! They let me know a time they would show, and he was right on time. We were unsure of the problem, but let him know it was drainage issues. Todd was able to find the problem, fix it and test it today and we’re up and running again!!! Late Friday night my Kitchen faucet blew apart shooting water to the ceiling. After shutting off the Water main because there are no shut off‘s I called A team. Of course they were closed but they called me right away on Monday and sent a guy out to put in shut off’s so I could have the water on. They couldn’t fix it that day because they were already booked at another job s later that week they came back.The guy was prompt, respectful, competent, worked quickly, and cleaned up after himself and the products used to do the repair. Also he was not at all scary in case you’re afraid of people being in your house.I also found out that they do other repairs to and I plan to have them do those in the future.The cost was within the range that I thought it would be and I was absolutely happy to pay for it especially since they made two trips to fix my repair which gave me running water.Definitely recommend!

A Team came highly recommended by a close family member. When my hot water tank died on a Thursday night, the next morning I left several messages with a plumber that I had been loyal to despite a history of not returning my calls in a timely manner. When 11:00 am rolled around and I had not yet received a return call and, thus, facing the prospect of showering in ice cold water the coming weekend, I called A Team and Rob picked right up. Within the hour, he was at my house inspecting the tank, and within 2 hours of my initial call, he had installed a brand-new tank. The new tank is working beautifully and I could not be happier with A Team’s work. I will call them the moment my next plumbing emergency arises.

Rob arrived early (he was actually done before the originally estimated arrival time), was polite, friendly, and professional. The job was what seemed to be a stripped handle on a faucet (the handle would spin freely without turning off the water). However, Rob quickly realized the issue extended to the sink’s supply lines, despite this not being expected, Rob was well prepared and able to replace everything within the hour. Excellent work and customer service; I whole-heartedly recommend!

A Team Plumbing did a great job when I needed them. As a result of having no issues for thirty years, my mother had some water lines dripping, some drains that leaked and shut off vale’s that wouldn’t hold, along with a leaky commode. Rob came when called and started repairing and replacing. Very efficient and worked through each issue until completed. Oh, and did I mention that he replaced three low commodes for the new taller version ones to make it easier for my Mom to use them. I’d recommend his team to anyone.....5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an update to my earlier review. Still 5 stars! Ten if I could give them. If you need plumbing, call these guys! They pick up the phone or get back to you asap. They show up and do excellent work. We recently moved to Jackson, O and they came right away to fix a leak we had discovered. No muss, no fuss!I called them about a slow leak in my basement. Forty minutes later they were there! Price was reasonable. They were cleaned up and gone within two hours. Will definitely use them again.Update: based on the A Team’s great response to our leak problem we asked them for an estimate to redo our whole bathroom. The end result was beautiful! Well worth it. All the folks were great to work with. If I could give ten stars I would.

My sewer line backed up on a Saturday, it was bad. John from A-team came that night and worked until the clog was gone. They did a great job and I’m so thankful. Prompt response, great communication letting me know when they would arrive and a thorough job well done! I have called A-Team plumbing for several different types of plumbing jobs including a sewer line replacement, a faucet replacement, and a bathroom sink replacement. They have been very responsive- coming to my home on a Saturday, on a Friday night, and on a Sunday night to solve problems. They have done great work, I have no complaints at all. Rob is good at returning calls and texts and he maintains good communication through big jobs. Rob has also helped me work out problems when I needed to get help from the City of Athens Engineering and Public Works Department due to a sewer line problem that was beyond my property. I highly recommend A-Team Plumbing and will always call them first for any type of plumbing problem, big or small!

Quick Response! I had an emergency issue this morning with toilet water backing up into my bathtub drain. I called them and they were there able to be there within a few hours. The plumber knew exactly what to do and got my septic line unclogged. I appreciated very much that he took off his muddy shoes and put down cardboard on my freshly cleaned wood floors so as not to track in when he brought in the machine to unclog the drain. There was an issue with his accidentally breaking a PVC pipe, which he fixed at no charge to me. A-Team is reasonably priced and saved me a lot of time and headache trying to do it myself. I would definitely call them again.

Initially I called Ed from A-Team Plumbing in to replace a tub spout and to repair a leaky toilet. He was friendly, cheerful, and quick to replace the tub spout which had its diverter valve frozen by hard water deposits. However, when asked to repair my old Crane toilet, he suggested that he might replace it with a newer, more efficient American Standard toilet because replacement parts were sometimes hard to find with Crane toilets. And my Crane toilet was pretty old and used more water than modern toilets. I agreed to Eds suggestion and he returned a week or so later with a nice, shiny American Standard toilet. I was so pleased that Ed installed the new toilet quickly and efficiently, and hauled away the old Crane toilet with little fuss. I am very pleased with Eds friendly manner and prompt completion of assigned tasks. A-Team Plumbing did a good job of sizing up my plumbing needs, offering alternatives, and following through on tasks. And considering the expertise and muscle needed to replace the toilet and tub spout, I am pleased with the cost of these services.
