Working with Brandon and his crews was a great experience from start to finish! He had excellent communication—any time we wanted to get in touch with him, he responded right away. His crews showed up when they said they would and did beautiful work. They put new roofs, soffit, fascia, and gutters on our house and garage and installed our new cupolas and weathervanes. We could tell that they really cared about doing a good job and making sure we were happy with the results. And his quotes were lower than others we got.

Incredible experience with Homegrown Roofing. Called and talked to Brandon the owner, and he came out and gave me an estimate within an hour. He called and walked me through the quote, answered all of my questions and there was no pressure at all. The quote was less than HALF the price of one of the big places that come out and try to pressure you into signing the same day.I picked out the Shingle color and they were on my roof 5 days later. Communication was excellent - Brandon was in constant communication so I knew exactly when materials and crew members were arriving. The entire process was seamless.The crew of 4 team members were incredibly efficient and professional. They tarped around a lot of the areas and my patio. The cleanup was pristine and looked better than it did before they arrived. They took pictures of the roof when it was tore off and some of the wood that needed replaced, including the after pictures of repairs. Brandon was very fair for the sheets of wood and labor, which was around $100.Being a certified Owens corning installer, Brandon provides the same warranty that the big places try to charge you for, for absolutely free.Incredibly happy with my decision to go with Homegrown Roofing and the way the roof turned out.

My husband & I were searching for a company to put Vinyl siding on our 1880 Victorian home. After 2 years of disappointingly high estimates from other local companies, we called Brandon at Homegrown roofing and construction. Because this company was actually affordable we were a little skeptical. You know the saying, You get what you pay for. That saying does not apply in this case. We were blown away with the level of skill & professionalism of his crew. Nothing is square or straight about an old house, but they are so good at what they do they made it look easy. They came on schedule everyday and even asked to work the weekend while the weather was good. I could go on & on about how impressed we are with them but if your like me & hate reading log reviews just look at the pictures. FYI, we hope to have them back to put vinyl siding and a new roof on our hobby barn in the near future.

When we started getting estimates to get our siding replaced, Brandon the owner, was very upfront about costs and potential issues that may come up when doing the job. He was more concerned about doing the job right than how much he was going to make. He wanted to make sure when they were done, that we were satisfied. And man are we ever. There were some things that came up that needed to be done over and above the normal scope of work and it was done at no extra cost. His prices were better or comparable to all others we had quote us. All of the crew were very respectful to my wife and I and cleaned up at the end of every day. Very good attention to detail and complete pros. Brandon was always there to answer any questions we had. It was never a bother like you get from some companies. Ultimately the reviews are what made us consider him in the first place, but his price, personal approach and professionalism are what sold us. Money well spent and we will recommend him and his people to all of our friends and family. Actually our one son is going to have him quote his house once he saw ours. Homegrown replaced our roof after significant wind damage. The process from evaluation to completion was fast and seamless. Brandon was professional and responded quickly to questions and concerns before and after installation. After installation, the team cleaned up very well, removing all nails so I didnt have to worry about tire damage! Brandon also discussed replacing the gutters at a very reasonable price (not pictured). We were so pleased with the roof work that weve reached out to consider other projects to be done with this company.

Several weeks ago, i had Homegrown Roofing and Construction replace my roof that was damaged as a result of a storm. David Lamphere did a fantastic job and worked with the insurance company to make sure everything was taken care of properly. He kept me in the loop with how things were going and was always prompt with his feedback.As a result of his great service, I asked if David Lamphere was able to check on my fathers home and he was also able to determine damage from that same storm. He again worked with the insurance company to help replace the roof and kept me up to date with how things were going. I was amazed at the organization of this huge job. We have206 units here and within three weeks they were all done. There was no mess to clean up afterward. They were able to complete 3 or 4 buildings in a day and hauled away all the garbage and they made efforts to protect our plants. Our buildings are all strikingly beautiful with the new roofs. Early this spring, a very nice young man and his dad stopped by and dropped off a business card. They let me know they were fairly certain that should I choose to have them assess my roof and submit it to insurance, I would be covered for a new roof due to storm damage. I had had several other companies take a look previous to that, each saying it would be too challenging to get our insurance to do so. For Brandon and Cameron, they said they’d do everything necessary and take on the challenge. I didn’t think anything would come of it, but I’m so very glad I gave them to do what others said couldn’t be done. It took several months, multiple submissions of information to our insurance company, but to my incredible surprise and delight, this past Wednesday, our roof went from old and brittle to new and gorgeous. Cameron came out to the house and brought several samples, so we could see the options in real life. Brandon provided a couple addresses, so we could see our final choices on a large scale and feel confident moving forward. The roofing crew was so efficient, and completed the entire job in one day, even though the weather wasn’t ideal. Brandon came by the next morning just to make sure everything was exactly how I had expected. I can’t recommend Homegrown enough! What a huge relief to know we are entering winter with a secure roof, and I know if there are any future issues, Brandon will take my call and assist immediately. Thanks, Homegrown! Homegrown roofing and construction has been an absolute blessing in disguise. They not only educate homeowners like myself, but they walked me through the process making sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. I am a father of six, a husband, employed full time, and honestly I would never have had the time or energy to do this alone. They worked hand in hand with our insurance company in order to get me a new roof. To me this is above and beyond what any other company could, should, or would do. My roof was on its last leg and it needed done terribly. They know what it is to be human and didn’t even collect the check until the very end. They put a personal guarantee in their work that is missing in this day and age. My home is more than a home and the roof is more than a roof. This is where the most important people in my life live. I have had other companies mess up the smallest of details in the past and that doesn’t describe homegrown roofing and construction in the slightest. They treated us as family and that truthfully hit home for me. They might as well be part of the family. I wish I could give them better than a 5 star rating because they know they deserve it. My roof, honestly, is the best looking roof in the neighborhood. I have worked with homegrown a little over 2 years between purchasing my house they took time out of their busy schedule to check the quality of my roof before I purchased it, my parents house, my neighbors house. Brandon Guthrie, the owner of the company, is extremely easy to deal with. He answers phone calls and texts promptly and arrives at the expected time. He is polite and personable. His crews worked hard and did a wonderful job. I had roof and siding damage on my house from a wind storm. I was getting nowhere with my insurance company. I called Brandon and he handled all the communications with the insurance from that point on. The outside of my house looks beautiful. These guys are great. When they initially came out to check the wind/storm damage, they tarped the areas that were the worst while we waited for insurance to decide on what they were paying for. Answered all of my questions. Took care of insurance paperwork. Cleaned up to perfection even using a magnet to make sure all the random nails from demolition were picked up so my dogs wouldn’t get a nails in their paws. The work crew was friendly and professional. I love that this is a small company run by a father and son. I can’t say enough good things. They will be my first call for the next construction project we run into for our 120 year old home.

Within 20 minutes Brandon wrote a detailed report highlighting issues my inspector should have seen in order for me to leverage this against my inspection company. Also had employee come out to tarp roof before repair to ensure no damage to inside of my home. Excellent company

We had our siding replaced by Homegrown construction . We found them on Facebook and they were amazing right from the start!!! Brandon’s communication throughout the process was spot on! We had a previous contractor that never finished the job. Homegrown came in a start to finish took only 3 days - our home looks amazing!!! The quality and craftsmanship is second to none!!!!

Home Grown roofing came down to Zanesville Ohio after a pretty bad hail storm set me up and helped me deal with my insurance agency. They got me over double what was quoted from the insurance agency from the damage to actually get everything repaired properly and in a timely manner. Camron was a great guy that always responded whenever I had a question or an issue. And always checked up on the work being done to my home they are highly recommended from me.

Homegrown’s services include much more than roofing! Brandon and his crew replaced our old siding with beautiful new green Dutchlap vinyl siding and white shutters that has given our 1970’s home a much needed modern update. They are very professional, honest and hardworking. Everything was completed within the timeframe we were given. They stayed true to the inicial quote and have very reasonable prices. I highly recommend giving them a call for any needed home services!

I had leaking around my chimney and they came out right away. I was prepared for a big repair bill, but they were very honest and said I just needed my flashing recaulked. They fixed it that day since it was going to rain the next day. I had them come back out to clean my gutters and put on gutter guards. They are very professional and efficient. I would recommend them.

Let me start by saying I don’t write many reviews. I have to be very impressed or extremely disappointed. This time I was very impressed. Brandon Guthrie is one of those people (and there aren’t many) that I believe TRULY cares about helping people and is not just in the business to make money. Brandon talked to our insurance company (what felt like 500 times) and jumped through all the hoops (twice!) by taking pictures and making videos of our roof damages because that’s what our insurance requires. He also made several trips all throughout last winter from Akron to Salem just to tarp and fix what could be done until spring so that more damage wasn’t done from a leaking roof. Before finding Brandon we had 2 other roofers at our house that were not as interested in helping us and they never mentioned talking to our insurance company. Even though our roof was only 10 years old, Brandon told us right away we needed a whole new roof and because we had no OSB under our singles, it needed to be brought up to code. I was sick with worry on how much this was going to cost. Brandon told us not to worry because he could get our insurance to pay and was able to get us a whole new roof plus the OSB through our insurance company. We paid nothing! Thank you Brandon! To us you truly are a knight in shining armor!
