We enjoyed having them remodel our bathroom. The walk through was indepth and answered all our concerns. Estimate and what we paid was fair, even with the added work that needed to be done on our very old house. They made sure to ask about placement of safety features we needed and how we function in our bathroom. Chip and his team was considerate of our house and time.

I called on Wednesday afternoon. That morning we had no water at our house. Recently we had some basement work done by a different company and our water stopped working. Very frustrating and upsetting. H Jack’s called me back right away and had two technicians out the next day. The two men were straight shooters and told me what was messed up. Chip and Steve were great and very professional. Got straight to work. Had my water running and new system put up in less than 24 hrs. Will recommend them to other people and have other house work and remodeling in the future I’d feel comfortable with them doing. They have my trust.

Google doesnt let me add multiple reviews of the same company so I am editing my original review.Job #1:The gas line to my oven cracked and I googled plumbers near me and Jacks had the best reviews! I thought Id give them a change so I called around 730pm and they had me scheduled for the next morning. Ron and Ben came out and were very professional and they immediately put on those shoe booties without me even asking as that is important to me, shows they respect me and my house. They had the gas line changed out in a jiffy and tested both the oven and the entire basement for gas leaks. I was so impressed I asked them for a quote for a basement sink swap out. Ill definitely be using Jacks in the future!! Hopefully they send Ron and Ben again.Job #3:I have used Jacks for 3 jobs now and am overall happy with the company. Greg came out to fix a leak from Job #2, and I was very happy with how patient he was trying to locate and fix the leak, he never acted rushed like some contractors do. He kept me informed of what he was doing and I appreciate that. While here, I asked for an estimate for a bathroom plumbing fix and I thought the price was reasonable so he did Job #3 on the same day which made me thrilled (not having to call them back again, etc...). Gregs use of the shoe booties while in the house was fantastic and I really appreciated that the most!! Jacks really respects your house and the customer. Thanks Greg!!

I just can not say enough about how wonderful it was to have H. Jacks Plumbing do the work I needed. My sister was moving into her first ever home that she owned and it needed a lot of plumbing work. This company responded quickly and were very honest and forthcoming about what was needed. They were perfect at finding all the issues and were able to do the repairs and replacements within a few days. It was all so much faster than I even hoped. They were great. Dont even look around because these people know what theyre doing and will do the best job.

We had an emergency where our water tank was leaking all over the floor at 10pm they came out the next morning right at 8, they found our chimney liner was bad and helped us understand and show us what needed to be done and why the issues happened. Overall great company and did an amazing job and was very fairly priced. The installers were amazing and did an outstanding job.

We had collapsed storm drain lines in our yard that became apparent recently after a severe storm. They came out, ran a camera down the lines and showed us the multiple places where the problems were. Gave us a quote on Monday, scheduled the dig and had it done on Thursday. They did a great job and left NO mess for us to deal with. Great job, guys!!

Ron and his helper were polite, courteous, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Pricing for the diagnostic was fair ($~130), as was the cost of the repair. Our sump pump was malfunctioning and their team was here a few hours after we called, and completed the repair and replacement with a professional quality pump and pipe in under two hours (for less than $1,000 with the diagnostic fee). We will definitely be using them again for any unexpected, urgent repairs!They did leave a small pile of plastic debris from cutting pipe, but that is to be expected and it took me :30 seconds to shop vac. 🙂

Chips crew is amazing! They did an awesome job and did it right! They came to my house and basically gutted the bathroom and redid the kitchen ceiling, they put in a new shower which is amazing and looks beautiful. I couldnt be more thankful for the hard work and effort they put into making sure my grandma was safe when taking a shower. They were kind and understanding and I will definitely recommend them to others when they need anything done, and I will definitely want them back in the future when/if I need anything done again! Chip was amazing and made the whole experience, for me. It was quite rocky to begin with, the job took way longer than expected, and kind of made me feel like I wasnt a priority (8:40am to 3pm - they had to go get a part and took a very long lunch - told by one of the crew members) but once the part was in and Chip came in, it saved the day, project managed and saved the whole thing. He did have to teach the other guys how to do the job, but I appreciated his ability to calmly teach and how personal he was. I would certainly recommend this company and specifically Chip. Lamar also was very intuitive and was kind enough to put everything back under my sink after he took it out and even shook out my rug that got some dust on it. Very good experience.

Jay and Greg came out to our house on Friday. We had a broken pipe and couldnt have the water on. They were able to come the same day and give me a free estimate. They got all the repairs done the same day. I couldnt ask for things to have gone better than they did. They really saved my day and had everything fixed and cleaned up a few hours after arriving. This company has gained a customer for life.

He left the services brochure as we plan to set up a service contract for our AC and furnace based upon the fact that Brad saved is from our running water emergency. We had to have our main stack replaced and came cross even more issues so theyll be doing sewer work also. They are definitely not the cheapest company we got estimates from but they will do it all. Alot of other companies wont cut into walls and do the wall repair. THEY WILL. That was one of the things that we factored in to our decision. The team that did our work was professional, explained everything they were doing, and were on time. I hope the sewer team is just as good, but so far this is my new go to company for all of our plumbing needs.Update: Sewer team was just as good and very thorough in their work. However I hope to not have these guys back for a very long time!

They came when they said they would and completely replaced my mothers furnace in an all day project. The furnace was in the attic in a tight space. But that didnt stop them. They installed a new thermostat and a voice activated C02/Smoke detector in the hallway near the thermostat. They cleaned everything up and explained to us about 1 free future furnace cleaning. I would call them again for any future problems.

We’ve had two incidents in the last month and both times they were very helpful, quick, and professional. When a leaky valve turned into needing a new vanity and toilet they were extremely generous with pricing, showed up right on time, and were done in under 2 hours. When our basement flooded today, they were here in 15 min and out within 30! They also installed our water heater years ago and we haven’t had any problems. So thankful to them for saving us a lot of stress!!

With us being new homeowners they did their best to explain how and what needed fix (because the company that “flipped” our house did really poor plumbing/work to our new house). They actually stayed and did a pressure test on the incoming water line because the city put in a new meter and they found that my pressure is ridiculously low after the new meter install. He came back out to do the job and went above and beyond explaining everything and making sure the lines were all running clear. Larry and his team cleaned up everything and were very polite, professional and knowledgeable. We cant recommend H. Jacks Plumbing enough to anyone, we are very pleased with the services. Called H Jack’s of Akron and they had a team come out to determine how many holes I had in my pipes with in a half hour of my call. Gave me an estimate and that Sunday morning came out and had everything repaired, cleaned up and leveled my water heater without even asking. Chip and his team made us feel like we knew them our whole lives and couldn’t of asked for a better crew to have had repair our issue. Gas line replaced from meter in. Work done professionally, when Dominion came to turn gas back on, they complimented the work that was done. I have had them here for plumbing estimate as well, wish i would have went with their company instead of the cheaper plumber i used who did subpar work. Highly recommend these guys, Chip, Jay, Larry and not sure of everyones names.... all cool guys and know their profession and work. You can count on them to do the job right.

From the first phone call I placed I was treated wonderfully. As a renter Was very concerned because my only bathroom sink would not drain the intake rep was very courteous and assured me you could fix the issue and scheduled a service call. The service rep Nate was on time and came in ppe which put me at ease in these covid times, he was courteous and did everything he could to help but my pipes were full of rust so they needed replaced ( landlord issue) so I told him I would get back to him after speaking to my landlord. I contacted my landlord and advised her of the issue so she said get a full quote so I once again called Nate I felt like a total pain but he assured me it was okay and came out. He did a complete check on my house and found a leak in my furnace which could have killed me and my son with co2. I could not be more thankful for the professional service he provided and his thoroughness. My landlord is cheap and didnt pay for the services. I am grateful for your company finding this issue and saving our lives. If I was the owner of the house I would have paid for your service for that fact alone. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! They saved the day! They showed up in short order and fixed our bathroom leak. I will admit that they were not the first we called, but everyone else couldnt come till the next day and we had to shut off the water to the house to stop the leak, that would have meant going without water for over 24 hours, but H. Jack answered the call within 20 minutes of calling and made the repair.

Since the problem began with the flooring being installed, then toilets to be installed, the flanges were bad on two toilets and you were there immediately...I praise the urgent response. The fact that I had a usable toilet that day, I suppose was very nice, thank you for that. Though the price was risen to almost double of the initial quote. Everytime a cut was made on my wall, the price went up. Anyway, Im torn but the plumbers were professional.

I had a clogged shower drain that I was unable to fix myself. I decided to call in a professional. The first 2 plumbers came from a well known national brand. Neither was able to resolve my issue with one even recommending cutting a hole in my ceiling to analyze the pipes. I decided to get a third opinion and called HJacks.They sent out 2 guys that worked diligently until they resolved the issue without cutting any holes in my ceiling. Their prices might be a tiny bit higher than some other national brands, but the work is so much better that it is absolutely worth it. I wont consider calling anyone else next time.

I recently bought a house and found this leak in my bathroom and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. I was very upset and searched online for a plumber to help me solve this issue. I called during the evening and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The plumbers who came out were so kind and really listened to what I had found and then did their own thorough investigation. Due to the age of my house in order to truly know the problem they had to cut into the ceiling of my kitchen. The plumbers made sure to lay down stuff to protect my floor and completely cleaned up their mess. They did proceeded to do the most detailed investigation I had ever seen. They ran the tub, the filled it, they flushed the toliet and sinks to make sure nothing was actually leaking. They found that there was no major issue but they made sure to check everything possible to make sure it wasnt something small and that gave me peace of mind. I had to schedule the fixing of my ceiling for another day and these plumbers were just as good. The did a fantastic job patching my ceiling and cleaned up their mess so well you couldnt tell they were there. Every single plumber I encountered was professional and kind. I know if I ever had another plumping issue I would call H Jack in a heartbeat. If you are looking for a good group of knowledge and punctual plumbers look no further than H Jack! I HIGHLY recommend them.

H. Jack’s to the rescue! When we smelled gas at our office building, we called Dominion first. They came out, found a couple leaks, spent a few hours trying to fix and then just gave up and turned off the gas, leaving us all to freeze. H. Jack’s was there within 1 hour! First, they pressurized the line and identified all the gas leaks – showing us very patiently where all the trouble spots were. At that point it made much more sense to just replace all the gas lines to multiple furnaces. While this turned into a bigger job, George and his guy promised that they could still get the heat on for us same day. These guys worked at a very rapid pace and when the job went into the late afternoon, instead of the usual “We’ll finish it up tomorrow” that you’d expect from any other company, they called in a few extra guys to finish it up so that we can get our gas on same day. Great work, very fast service, high quality workmanship – and most of all peace of mind. That’s why we called H. Jack’s!
