Toro Construction has completed two projects at our home -we loved their work after the first one, so of course we had to call them back.The whole team is great, from the office managers communication to everyone that shows up to do work. We were pleased with all the subcontractors as well. No corners were cut on either project and due to previous owners corner cutting we had to make some adjustments to our last remodel, but Rob made it very smooth! Best of all and important to me, Rob gives back to his community so I know I am working with someone with great values and like-minded!I am already planning for our next project!

The process of taking two closets, knocking out the wall between them, and turning them into a laundry room couldnt have been smoother. Every person (flooring, plumbing, venting, painting, etc etc) was completely professional-- came at the time they said they were going to, worked quietly so my spouse could keep working downstairs easily, cleaned up after themselves and Kelly in the office and Rob himself were very communicative through the whole process and were careful with special requests (like our anxiety that the cat would escape from the house!). The price was right and the details were all taken care of. Thanks so much!

Rob Toro, and his fabulous workers did a complete renovation of my basement bathroom it was done so nicely that when it was time to do our kitchen we knew just who to call. The whole kitchen layout was changed so that my kitchen flowed and was more functional. We used all Robs vendors and were so pleased with them, it was our pleasure to work with them. The Toro construction crew were the best. They always in contact with us with what was going on. Robs crew are the best and I consider them friends now. We are getting ready to remodel our master bathroom and we will of course have Toro Construction do that job for us too. Thank you all !

Very pleased with our experience with Toro Construction. Rob and his team were professional and communicative. Renovated a tenants apartment and replaced a basement door. We got four quotes and they all came in around the same price. But Rob was the only one to put in all in writing correctly, detailing the work and pricing. He actually talked us out of extra work we originally wanted and he was right. Very good experience.

Rob and his team are great. We had a very complex kitchen wall removal followed by a complex basement renovation. While we ran into numerous issues (none of which were the fault of Toro) that caused cost overruns, Rob was very transparent about pricing and timeline along the way. His team had good attention to detail and was courteous and respectful throughout the projects. I have added some before and after below.

We could not be happier with our recent project with Toro Construction. Rob and his team are truly second to none. This was our first renovation - a full gut renovation of the kitchen, half bath and mud room on a 1950 home - and we really had no idea what we were walking into. Rob was incredibly professional and responsive, and he walked us through every step of the process. He is very transparent with costs which was helpful as we made a few changes along the way. Robs immediate team (Dave, John, Rocco, Santi, Kevin, Im sure Ive missed a few!!) was absolutely fantastic. Great attention to detail and extremely polite and respectful (and so clean!) We are actually going to miss having them at the house. Additionally, the subcontractors that Rob uses are wonderful - we were very impressed with the work done by Alex (tile), Marc Sr. & Jr. (electrician) and Santo & son (plaster). Their work was immaculate. We have an older home so there are many more projects in waiting, and we will without a doubt be using Toro Construction. Cant wait to have them back!

I worked with Toro Construction to finish my basement. When I was getting estimates, Toros estimate was in the middle of three (which were all fairly close all-in), but what stood out was Robs attention to detail when asking questions about the main elements that were important to us (a big family room / playroom, workout room, wet bar, office, and adding a bathroom).Throughout the project, I appreciated Rob and his teams attention to detail: from getting the dumpster placed in a narrow, difficult area so that we had full access to our garage and driveway, to matching our custom hardwood floor stain color on the stairs down to the basement and matching trim styles so that the added space looked cohesive with the rest of the house. Also, there was good communication and coordination about when different phases of the work were happening. Pricing information was the most transparent Ive seen from any contractor in terms of keeping an updated running total, with minor adjustments up or down for estimates vs. actuals.We love the added space. With two parents working from home, the dedicated office is great, as well as having a place to consolidate the kids stuff that was overflowing into our main living space. Very happy with the quality and outcome.

Rob Toro and his team are a pleasure to work with. One thing that is a lost art is communication. Please take this into consideration when hiring a contractor. Rob was on top of ever detail on our bathroom rebuild. I have heard nightmare stories of friends who went with sub par contractors, but I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire process. Everything from working with vendors, transparency in the billing process, working with the local inspectors, to having people you can trust in your home, Toro hit all those metrics for me. Rob Toro and his team take ownership of any issue and will work to resolve it, and the job wasnt done until we were 100 percent satisfied with the job, which we are. For us, there is no other contractor we would consider calling for any job.

Very professional company. The owner, Rob, communicates via email in a timely fashion (even on nights and weekends). Good team, notably Dave, Santi, Wayne, and Brian. Subcontractors are all good as well. Schedule was made known to us in advance, they show up when they say they are going to show up, and there were very few hiccups in a fairly complex kitchen/powder room re-design. Highly recommended.

Rob Toro is terrific. He has done a number of projects for us including roofing, foundation work, bathroom renovation, chimney repair etc. He stands out because he is honest and comes in on budget or else communicates very clearly if there are changes (like once the tub was ripped out it turned out an ancient drain trap had to be brought up to code). His workers show up when they say and are respectful of keeping the property clean. You can’t go wrong.

When a worker was out sick, Rob texted early in the morning with apologies to let us know. I can’t say enough about Toro Construction. I hired them to extend my deck and they were not only professional but did an exceptional job. I wanted a walk in deck to the pool and was worried that it would be able to happen. They didn’t disappoint. The work they did was incredible. The entire Toro team was amazing from before the start date to after. We had them remodel a bathroom and Rob/Kelly made the entire project stress free. We did hit one snag when the wrong tub got delivered, but Rob called promptly got the right one delivered and installed the same day. All the subcontractors were amazing and incredibly friendly (to our dog too). In particular we were amazed by the tile work.

Rob and his team did amazing work for my fiancé and I on our kitchen. Our kitchen hadn’t been updated probably since 1964 so Rob and his team knew they had a lot of work ahead of them. Anything from ripping down a wall and adding a beam to create an open concept, all the way to a full demo of the kitchen with new tiling, cabinets, counters and appliances. Rob and his team were very personable and we enjoyed their company throughout the project. On the last day of inspection, Rob even dropped us off company sweatshirts that we asked for (so we could represent his brand) and a 6 pack of beers to thank us for our business. Looking forward to our next project with Toro!

We hired Toro Construction Management to do a full renovation of our kitchen and I couldn’t have been happier with this company for giving me a virtually stress-free first-time renovation experience. Everyone in the team is really good at what they do, they are honest, fast and reliable. On top of that, everyone is really kind and professional, always going the extra mile and fairly priced. I will not use anyone else in future renovations.The first thing that sets this company apart from other contractors is that the owner, Rob Toro, is an excellent communicator and extremely effective and efficient manager. I knew he was different when I reached out to him for a quote and he got back to me the same day, which I can’t say for any of the other contractors I reached out to. Throughout the whole process he has been on top of every little detail and has been amazing at communicating and thoroughly explaining next steps. He is always available and takes customer’s satisfaction very seriously. Another amazing asset of this company is the crew. Rob has a hard-working group of carpenters and painters who can really solve any problem and really take pride in what they do. In particular, I was really impressed with the project site manager (David Scanzillo), whose keen eye for detail and high-quality work ensured everything was perfect, and I when I say perfect, I mean PERFECT, along every step of the way. The same applies to all of Rob’s subcontractors - I had a particularly great experience with the tile company they use. They worked with me to make sure the tile look was exactly what I was envisioning and made sure I did not just settle for which would have been a nice look but not the look I was imagining. That’s how working with Rob Toro is like, he won’t let you settle for anything but your dream final product. Great experience all around, highly recommend!

Im writing this review a little after a year from when our project was completed and let me tell you, I am still thrilled with the quality of our bathroom renovation. From start to finish, the team at Toro was extremely responsive, helpful and professional. We experienced a few hiccups with pieces being too large or colors not being what we had envisioned, the team was so helpful and quick to fix everything to ensure we were happy with the outcome of our project. Staff members took the time to explain each step of the process, answer my questions and advise on where/how to place tiles, fixtures, shelving, anything. All of the staff members and subcontractors were top notch. We have referred 3 friends to Toro so far and will keep referring Toro to anyone who asks.

My experience with Toro construction was nothing short of sheer pleasure.We were the unfortunate victims of a house fire. From the get go Rob was extremely empathetic to our ordeal and he provided us with a very competitive estimate in a timely fashion. He understood how motivated we were to get the work started ASAP as we were living in a house with plywood boarding our windows, he made it a priority to get us taken care of as quickly as possible.Once work started his crew was nothing short of amazing. All were super professional and tidy. true masters of their craft. As well as the sub contractors they use. They also are some of the best Ive ever worked with....There were some un foreseen items that popped up that needed to be addressed but they handled it without skipping beat and still were able to finish the job in a timely fashion.Rob was in constant communication with me and there was NEVER any surprises. If something additional outside of the initial estimate presented itself, Rob was on the phone with me making sure I was aware of current events. There were NO surprises! I received 3 quotes and Toro was very competitive.To start I received a 4 page quote which detailed in great depth the step by step stages of the project, what would be done and how long it would take.The crew did exactly what the quote stated, on time and in my opinion extremely profession. The team was on time each day and cleaned up end of each day. They explained what they were doing and why. I cant express how respectful they were, and the quality of there work exceptional.A foreman came by frequently to check on progress, and quality of work.My wife, most importantly, and myself are extremely happy with the finished. After reviewing a few quotes to have our basement finished, we chose Toro Construction because of their experience with basement projects, their social media presence (we looked at how they showcased their current work and what their reviews said), and their involvement in the community. Their estimate was in the middle of the quotes we received, but we felt Rob provided a quality estimate that covered some unknowns that could happen once the project got started.Every person that came into our home was professional. Dave was on top of our project progress and always asked if theres anything we needed or had questions on that he could help with. Santi was so nice and we liked that he would ask us our opinion on even a little thing (trim work or a drawer front), which made us feel a part of the process. The plumbers, electricians, HVAC and tile guys were awesome as well.Overall, the experience working with Toro was great and we highly recommend them for any project big or small.

Rob Toro and he team are incredible. As a subcontractor for Rob I know a good general contractor and I know a bad one. We spent a lot of time (YEARS!!) thinking about whether to move forward on a massive renovation to our beloved home or to move. We spoke with a number of different contractors over this time and knew when we spoke with Rob early on that Toro Construction was different. In the very first conversation, Rob spent nearly an hour talking with my husband about what we were considering. He had a realtor come out and walk thru our house to discuss what renovations would be most beneficial to the overall value of our home. He was extremely responsive to our calls/emails, even before we ultimately decided to move forward with Toro. Our project was huge (dormering the 2nd floor of our Cape style home - demoing the entire upstairs!) and it was about as smooth a process as could be given the scope of work! Rob continues to be quick to reply to our lingering questions (we have a driveway that will be completed in the spring). He and the entire Toro team turned the home we already loved into a home we still hardly believe is ours!
