We had the pleasure of working with Beckman Builders to transform our wood deck into a fully screened porch. We worked within the same footprint of the deck and with a rather difficult roofline. Karl presented a great design. Brian, the project manager, communicated effectively throughout the entire project. All of the carpenters were very skilled and very conscientious on the job. Our screened porch is a gem and truly the favorite room of our house.

We inherited a sunken front stoop when we moved into our Sun Prairie home; greatly detracting from the curb appeal. Initially,we tried a concrete lifting service. It cost too much, made it look worse and was never lifted to code. Plus, they never came back to clean up, even after numerous requests. We eventually discovered Beckman Builders via the internet and the BBB site. Beckman was prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. Instead of just a stoop, we got a beautiful entryway. Beckman also fixed the underlying problem by adding a gutter above and giving us a new planting bed to finish the look. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again when we’re ready for our next project.

Karl and his crew were fantastic! I used Beckman Builders in connection with some repair work as well as a separate deck project. Karl was very responsive to my questions, flexible as to requirements, practical regarding project suggestions and super organized (both with respect to documentation and project management). His team + subs were punctual, hardworking and used great attention to detail on both of my projects. Beckman Builders made things easy and the project results were exactly what I was looking for. I couldnt recommend them more highly!

Our 25 year old cedar deck badly needed replacing. We wanted to make it somewhat larger, improve the foundation and landscaping and add a pergola at the same time. Karl was willing and able to take out ideas and create the solutions. We got multiple bids and his was not the least expensive nor the quickest but we could tell that he was the most knowledgeable about his craft and it was worth the wait. His crew was exacting and efficient. Part way through we discovered that we needed work done on windows and soffits and Karl was able to accommodate the extra work. We are delighted with the results.

Beckman Builders did an excellent job remodeling our out of date 1960s bathroom. We had them take out the tub and build a walk-in shower. They installed travertine tiles in the shower and a quartz countertop with double sinks along with laminate wood flooring. We had them re-texture the walls because they had so many imperfections and it turned out beautiful. The walk-in shower with a Kohler base and shower door with rollers at the top that look like barn door style Is just what we wanted. They were on time as promised and all the contractors along with Karl, the owner and his project manager were very friendly, accommodating. They got back to us with our questions and were very helpful. We highly recommend Beckman Builders!

We are starting our third project with Beckman Builders, being very satisfied with the previous two projects. Most recent was a major kitchen remodel. Now up are the bathrooms. Karl and his teams are great with design work and on execution of the design. They are also very good with dealing with the quirks of our houses construction.

We have worked with Beckman Builders for 15 years and keep going back to them for additional projects. Anything from building a ramp on the garage, to a new deck to a full main level remodel with elevator. They can do anything and the quality is always amazing. This last year we had them re-do our Foyer with new windows and tile and landscaping in the front yard.

In our experience, Beckmans work is superb! We had Beckman Builders remodel just about everything on our first floor - the kitchen, a bathroom, and the entire hardwood floor. They also added clothes washer and dryer to our bedroom. We love the result and so do others who see it! Mike, the carpenter, was a model of patience and master of detail - always helpful! Michael, the project manager, stayed in close touch and made sure that everything kept moving along. The subcontractors were all helpful and easy to work with. Our goal was to make the house more senior-friendly and safer, and now it is! We give them our highest recommendation.

Beckman Builders completed a total kitchen renovation on time and on budget. The project was very involved, requiring many subcontractors. All of the Beckman staff and subs were very easy to work with. They all made living without the conveniences of a kitchen very doable.I am thrilled with how my kitchen looks and functions. I wouldnt change a thing.Having worked with at least four other design/builders on other projects, I value the communication that makes a project a success. Beckman uses an online communication tool that helped me see what was happening by the day and ask questions. The project manager, Brian, communicated changes and kept the tool updated.I also value the time-savings of being able to make product selections at the Beckman showroom and the expertise of John, the cabinet consultant.I highly recommend Beckman Builders for their expertise, attention to detail, communication, transparency, and timeliness.

Owner himself came and did a thorough inspection and talked us through our options. His team did great repair job on our deck. We had trouble getting ahold of a lot of companies and Beckman’s was the opposite - fast communication, we were able to get on the books despite it being midsummer, and the repair was completed in a timely manner. We will for sure be considering them for our replacement deck in a few years!

Removed an old deck and installed a new driveway and spiral staircase. The initial spiral that was ordered had incorrect dimensions due a mistake by the spiral staircase vendor; Beckman was able to work with the vendor to have a new spiral built, which was greatly appreciated.

The carpenters, plumbers, painters etc were wonderful to work with.Karl we are very happy with our new space.
