Marines was amazingly quick to respond to my call and had my non-emergency on the calendar next day. I received a text with Carlos photo and background prior to his visit. He personally called 40 minutes out and was on time. He was professional, knowledgeable and open to distinguish my problem before proceeding with a clear plan and very reasonable price. He was incredibly polite and neat. Would recommend to all and am investigating further home system improvements with them.

I want to thank Marines Service Co. for outstanding customer support and excellent work done before and during the installation of new water main line at our home!! Marines Service Representative visited our home and outlined detailed alternatives for installation of the new water main line. Shortly after that, I received a statement of work showing clearly what will be done / labor requirements, what parts will be necessary, and a cost breakdown for completion of this job. They made it easy for me to schedule this installation at the time that worked for me. Alex Rubio, their service technician, and his crew showed up on time and made 100% effort to expertly replace the old water main line! They were very careful while digging the front yard to access the old line. And — before doing work inside of the home in the water heater closet to connect the new line — they meticulously protected the floors and carpeting, and left the basement and garage in a clean state, just as they were before they started doing their work!Upon installation, I tested faucets and toilets … everything worked perfectly!Finally, they carefully replaced the soil which was initially dug in front of the house and covered it appropriately. They passed all county inspections with flying colors!Many thanks to Alex and his crew, and Marines Service Co. folks for their outstanding customer service and fair pricing for labor and parts! Marines has taken care of two items at my house and done an excellent job both times. This time Ian replaced a corroded hot water heater anode rod and did customized repairs on some fittings. All is working well now. My guess is that if a less experienced plumber had come by, they would not have known what to make of the non standard parts that seems to have been used in this heater. In addition to the main work that he took care of, he gave me some very useful tips on other plumbing related items in my house. And was just a very professional, competent friendly guy. On the basis of his visit, and the last time around too, Ill be calling Marines next time I have a plumbing issue, though I hope that wont be for a while.

Same day service. The techs who came to our home were professional, diligent in solving our backed up pipe problem, and were strong communicators so there were no surprises with the cost. We had a clogged drain and another company kept rescheduling us and then came out and said they wouldn’t work on it because of how our drain goes out. We called Marines Services and they kept us informed of our service status and showed up the same day we called. Our drain is now clear and we have a diagnosis for how to proceed. Kevin was very communicative throughout the whole process.

Amazing response from dispatch or actual technician.This review is actually for our plumbing contract.Our specialists was Patrick M. and he was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.Patricks work was impeccable. This former Marine exudes pride in his work.One thing that many contractors do not consider is the clean-up at the end of the work day. Every time Patrick ended his work at our house for the day, there was no evidence that Patrick had been there.I feel I need to explain what we hired Patrick for. We converted bedroom #2 into the primary rooms ensuite 🛁.For this, subflooring and drywall had to be removed for Patrick to have a clear canvas of what the job entailed.Patricks job was flawless. The county inspector had no problems giving the job a passing grade.We used Marines Svc Co. for Carpentry and electrical, but those jobs received individual reviews.This company is highly recommended.

Our previous plumber had let us down, and we were lucky enough to see the ad and read the reviews for Marines Service Company, and that it is veteran-owned. Their response was quick. Shane listened, was knowledgeable, and suggested solutions that immediately put me at ease regarding his ability to correct the problems in a timely manner for an entirely reasonable cost. In our particular case, he was finished and had left within four hours! We are so pleased with their work that we are already discussing hiring them again to reduce our interior house water pressure and replace more corroded piping in another location. The service was exceptional. Carlos arrived promptly, assessed that I would require a new water heater. He had a water heater in his truck of the correct size. The price was within what I was willing to paid. He removed the water heater and installed a new water heater within 3 hours. The only reason that I am not providing 5 stars is because they do not provide the terms of the contract upfront, and instead send the contract after the service is complete. In Virginia, for purchase of all items over $500, a written contract is required, and since warranties are involved, there should be a written contract upfront for the customer to review. This is probably a business decision that Carlos has no control over, but it should be corrected among the business leaders.

I needed a plumber licensed for natural gas lines in a hurry, Tony Demar was able to come out and took care of my issue promptly. I was able to move up the install of a new HVAC system after he took care of the issue with a gas fireplace line. He also advised on the next steps to replace a 30 year old line and regulator. Marines plumbers have always done an excellent job for me over many types of repairs.

I found Marines Services through Google, their high review rating caught my attention. The process from the start was very professional, not an urgent service, just wanted an estimate to replace the outside spigot, they were able to get someone out next day, what caught my attention was when they sent a text to confirm the appointment But also that when the plumber was on the way, they sent a text for ETA and a photo of the plumber and a background of their qualifications and a snippet of who they were, I think all service companies should do this, its helpful to know who is coming to your home, especially nowadays, Shane was very professional, gave me a few options, throughly explained the work, his professionalism and friendly demeanor was the deciding factor in moving forward. He was able to the job quickly, cleanly and professionaly. Highly recommend Shane and Marines Services. Will definitely call them again for any future services needed.

He then worked with us and our contractor through a multi-step, reconstruction and renovation project to repair the damages. He found the issue and gave me options to replace the faulty part or replace the heater completely. Since it was 12 yrs old I decided to have him replace it. He was very efficient and did a great job . He previously performed a whole house re pipe for me and did an amazing job. I will definitely be using them again when needed.

We encountered a sewer backup problem in our house and called Marines Plumbing based on previous positive experiences wed had with them with other minor plumbing jobs. They quickly diagnosed the issue (sewer blockage in the line to the street) and proposed the excavation and replacement of the line. This sounded big, and it was a big job, but the Marines Plumbing technicians described what they were doing throughout the process, reassuring us and answering all of our questions. The digging of the fairly deep trench involved the movement of a lot of dirt, and the removal of a large maple tree, and it is amazing that after only 4 days of work they were grading the front lawn, and applying seed and hay. The problem turned out to have been caused by the roots of the maple tree interfering with the sewer line.Marines Plumbing started the job on time, and worked every day they could (paused for the tree removal). They sent me notifications every morning as the technicians were on their way to the house, and the cost of the job was exactly as they had quoted.I would definitely recommend Marines Plumbing for big and small jobs.
