We were extremely pleased with the service we received.The initial service tech ( Evan) was correct in diagnosing the problems . He was able to get our heat restored right away until the definitive repairs could be made. He explained what was needed completely and answered all the questions we had.The installation crew ( Danny, Pickle and Jeff ) were very careful and did beautiful work. They encountered an unusual problem, due to a faulty original installation when the house was constructed, and their perseverance was incredible. At the end they carefully explained how to operate the new equipment.An in general recommendation for DM Services is that when I asked if there were additional charges for the extra ductwork needed , they replied No, you pay what we quoted you.

I’m so happy with my decision to use DM Select to replace my two HVAC systems. I shopped around with a few companies for quotes and DM Select provided the lowest price among them. I’m also thrilled that they use Carrier equipment which is a very reliable company so I feel confident my systems will last for many years to come. I called DM Select on a Friday and was able to have both of my systems installed that following Monday. They were a pleasure to work with, from the call receptionist to the quote technician to the entire installation crew. They were all professional and knowledgeable. Overall I think they did a terrific job and I would highly recommend DM Select.

When my AC started running constantly and was unable to get the temperature below 80 degrees, I was worried how long it may take to get an HVAC tech to check it out. I contacted DM Select Services and was pleasantly surprised that they could have someone out the next day. (It actually turned out that we agreed to wait through another day so they could handle it when they were already scheduled to be in my town, but still...). Andrew showed up as promised (on Saturday), checked out the system, and advised that with the age and condition, it needed replacement. He wrote up a very thorough proposal, easily answered any questions I had, and gave me a date less than 2 weeks out to do the work. He charged the AC to keep it working in the meantime. The 3 person crew showed up on schedule to do the work, and were obviously very dedicated, skilled, and professional, as well as being very personable. The installation required extra work due to the portion of the system being located in a crawl space, but all the work was completed in a day. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work, and everything has been working well since the installation. Andrew also replaced the clothes dryer duct in the process, which is also in the crawl space and difficult to access to clean. I couldnt have wanted a better person to work with than Andrew, and they were all great individuals that Id highly recommend.

We had a very nice young man; Evan come to take a look at our HVAC system. He gave us some options, but recommended what we had already assumed - a replacement of our unit. My husband is an industrial mechanic… he kept it going for more years than it should be good for anyway!I had great experiences with the ladies in the office - shout out to Sherry- and got a fair financing deal to make it all happen.3 gentleman came to the house to install- my 6 and 8 year old we’re there the whole time and never make anything easy... all 3 of these men- Danny, Pickle (yeah truly that happened), and Jeff- were all very professional, fun, and all the while sweating and doing a great job making the house whole again.A total pleasure that they were in the household, and great work was done- I would and have already recommended them to multiple people! Great experience all around, honest- fair pricing- quick turn around… absolutely this company deserves the 5 star ratings I saw and gets another from us!!! Thanks so much DM!! He was able to provide us a quote that definitely was way below other companies and the service area in our county. We did a contract on Thursday and installation done on Monday. I had 2 mini split AC units replaced and a 3rd installed for the first time. Evan came to do the estimate and provided 2 options since I wasn’t 100% sure on installing a 3rd unit. He walked me through the pros and cons and ultimately it was much more practical to do the 3rd unit. I know more about mini splits than I ever imagined :) about a week later Danny and Pickle came out to measure and we settled on a convenient installation date. The project took the entire day because I have a tricky problem-child house. They were so great; super professional and everything went smoothly and I’m absolutely THRILLED with the units. I’d happily hire DM again.

I highly recommend DM Select Services! I called them and explained the water leak I had with my AC system. They arranged for same day service, and Evan, the HVAC tech, arrived within 3 hours. I was very happy about that. Evan was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He did a thorough check and explained what he was doing and why. I waited for the heres the bad news and expected to be told I needed thousands of dollars in repairs. Good news! I didnt need ANY repairs and Evan didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. I had a bad leak in the ceiling and the pipes above my water heater. I called DM SELECT SERVICES. Im GLAD I DID !!! They were quick to respond. They diagnosed my problem, and gave me an estimate. I approved the work. Dustin Miller quickly and professionally did the repairs. He recommended a different kind of water valve, so that it would last longer. He used that and replaced the necessary copper pipes and fittings. He cleaned up. He had to cut my ceiling to access the ceiling pipe. He even confirmed that I do not have an outside leak. He was professional, courteous, and easy to deal with. I *HIGHLY RECOMMEND* this company and Dustin !!! I will call them for any future plumbing needs .--- Harry Evans.

The repair would’ve cost $2300 but Andrew took the time and discovered the part had an extended warranty and ended up costing $400!! Danny, pickle, Jeff and andrew are beyond amazing! They were all professional, answered every question I had and took their time making sure everything was done correctly. They even went above and beyond to make sure I had running water after my sink in the kitchen was installed and helped get our bathroom ready for inspection. Plus our propane was dangerously low and they waited until they arrived in order to make sure the new heating system was working correctly and the pressures were right. I am beyond happy with everything so far. Will be having my water system done by Dustin and Justin soon and they have been awesome with my plumbing needs. I recommend 110%!!!

The worker (Chris) who was filling in for their Winchester branch technicians who were unavailable, was knowledgable, efficient, and polite. Had some logistical issues booking the heat system inspection and the window for the inspection was recorded incorrectly by scheduling staff at their Lorton VA HQ despite my email followup confirmation of the time window we verbally agreed to. As a result I had to wait two hours more than promised but the net result was that I was still very satisfied with the service overall.

A+ Excellent!I had a new Carrier HVAC system installed in my older home. I replaced a very old oil furnace and old ducts. Manager Andrew sent Lead Tech Danny, Tech Ed Pickle and Tech Jeff to complete this challenging install. These gentlemen were very knowledgeable. They took on this challenge with a very polite and positive attitude. This install was started and finished on time and the quality of work is excellent. I am enjoying nice cool air conditioning as I write this.The HVAC Techs discovered a couple of plumbing leaks in my basement that Plumber PJ and Andrew came and repaired very soon after they were notified. The repairs were done very nice. It really worked out well for me to hire a company that also does plumbing.From the beginning, Manager Andrew was a very easy gent to work with. His HVAC and plumbing knowledge is incredible. All of the Winchester DM Select Services employees were very knowledgeable, super nice and professional.Andrew, Lead Tech Danny, Pickle, Jeff and PJ were a pleasure to have at my home. We had a go around with a warranty company and another HVAC company that we wont get into since I have left a Yelp review for them already. Needless to say the previous company tried to say our heat issue was one thing when in fact it was proven the previous company never even opened our air handler, even though they claimed our air flow issue was caused by a extremely dirty coil. DM came out and the technicians name was Andrew. Not only did he have our heat back up the same day when we had already waited 11 days for the previous company, but found that the issue was not a dirty coil as he actually opened the air handler and took pictures, but that the problem was a blown capacitor on the blower motor. Our air handler is like 20 years old and even made recommendations to eventually have a new air handler installed for a reasonable price VS putting new parts in a 20 year old air handler. This heat pump didnt even have the electric pack for the auxiliary heat when it gets really cold and why they installed a bunch of built in baseboard heaters into this house. With a new air handler you get the blower motor, heat pack, and the new air handler installed which is our plan. We are letting it go as long as we can for now while we get the funds together to do so, but I just had to leave this long review and how excellent service Andrew and DM provided us. Would recommend to anyone in the Winchester, VA area.

I cannot say more fantastic things about Andrew at DM Select. My A/C went out (after hours) and I called several local companies to get help. All of them went to voicemail. I called DM and they had an answering service where I left a message. Andrew called me back within 15 minutes and told me he would be at the house in one hour. He was there and was in and out in 20 minutes. Not only that, but he was extremely affordable, professional, courteous (took his shoes off), the guy was an HVAC magician. Again, in and out in 20 minutes!! Cant recommend them enough and will use them again (if I have to).

Our air conditioner stopped working. The fan would run but the outside air compressor wasnt working properly. I called and got an appointment scheduled the same day. Once again, DM Select provided RESPONSIVE service to a minor issue with my new Heat Exchanger. Evan came out to investigate my report of a humming noise. He quickly discovered a wire not connected and corrected it. He also discovered an overheated transformer. He came back the next morning early, replaced it, tested everything and we are good to go! Drew was awesome! He is a heating and AC guru! Drew was able to fix our AC unit and had us up and going in no time! He actually diagnosed the problem and had the parts in his truck needed to fix it, he didn’t just give the standard the whole unit needs replaced…. These guys are the real deal, I won’t trust anyone else with my heating and AC needs. Drew even followed up post repair to ensure everything was still working perfectly. AAAAA+++++ all the way around!

I called DM this morning at about 8:30 AM. I told them my furnace was not working. They asked me how soon I needed some to come out and take a look at my furnace. I said I preferred today as we are already getting cold. I got a call 30 minutes later, and a tech said he was on his way.Tech arrived within 15 minutes.He quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. It took him maybe 15 minutes to fix. He made some recommendations which I agreed with, and after installing new Blower Motor capacitor, he thoroughly checked everything to insure all was good.My overall experience with this tech was excellent. Very polite young man, and observed all precautions, especially with the corona stuff going around,Also he showed me what was wrong, and what to look out for in the future.For the prompt response and professionalism, i think the service fee was reasonable.

I had by Bib Valves to the outside spickets redone. I broke off the cheap plastic bib valve cap at the end of last season. The tech was quick and professional. Tech also answered my questions accurately and with confidence. The final result is much sturdier and i expect to last for the remaining length of the home.Only concern I have is it took just over an hour for the work to be done and he used very few parts but the fee was 508$ I realistically expected somewhere around 300$. I felt this was a little high for the amount of time spent on the project.I would use them again but Cost and absolute need would be a major factor.

He didnt mind me watching over his shoulder while he worked.I thought I was doing myself a favor by YouTubing what to work on; Andrew proved that although homeowners want to do most repairs themselves, HVAC/oil furnace isnt one of them. Andrew has specific tools and knowledge to be efficient and quick. He was was able to fabricate on the spot and troubleshoot to get the unit running.I will be calling for any other needs that may come up in the future and I would definitely recommend DM Select Winchester. Very friendly (dog friendly too, huge plus) and personable.Im very grateful for the affordable service Andrew at DM Select Winchester provided us.
