Our 19-old tank water heater finally broke down on Christmas Day. Contacted Comfort Masters the next day to replace it with a tankless unit. Andrew, our sales consultant, was awesome - he listened to all of our concerns and worked really hard to push up our install date, so we didn’t have to go the weekend without hot water. The install team came the next day and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend this team.

They arrived within my window and called ahead to let me know their arrival time. They did a thorough check of my furnace and pointed out a couple of things for me to think about going forward. I felt very comfortable and satisfied with the work done. Thank you Wes and Greg. I have been using Comfort Masters Service Experts for many years and highly recommend them.

Josh Johnson and Nigel Odum came to conduct a yearly AC maintenance. Service was amazing and both were polite and friendly. Nigel explained what they were going to do and if any questions we had along the way both thoroughly answered. Nigel alerted me to a couple of things during the maintenance with my approval Josh immediately went to work after receiving delivered parts from another colleague. My experience started with sales representative, Jesse Z. He was friendly, professional, and patiently answered all my questions. I always say the first person you come in contact with is your first impression of the company, and Jesse was very positive. This morning Jack and Christian came to the house to install the new hot water tank. From the moment they entered my home they were polite and friendly. They explained what they were going to do and got to work. Any questions we had along the way Christian thoroughly answered. Jack alerted me to a couple of things during installation and then explained the end paperwork to me. I must say he is a very nice young man. Very personable. He made sure I received my receipts and gave us numbers we may need in the future. I’ll be sure to refer Jesse, Christian and Jack (Comfort Masters) to my family and friends. Thank you!!

We had a problem with our furnace not working properly and wanted it to get fixed before the cold really came.My husband called, and they were able to come out the same day. Wes and Andrew were very professional and informative. They even talked to my husband on the phone since he wasn’t able to be there.They took it step by step to make sure they didn’t miss anything. They even informed me of potential problems I may have down the line with my water heater.I appreciate their patience and attention to detail. I am a visual person, so the fact that they took pictures and sent them to us was a great help in understanding what was going on.I would definitely recommend them!!!

Reasonably priced and absolutely worth every penny!!Also a rave review for David Hirschfeld with the duct work.These guys dont mess around but rather evaluate and execute what has to be done. Above and beyond the call, unlike others independents Ive had out. Comfort Masters is the only company I call now for all my heating, AC and hot water repairs and maintenance!

Haris, John and Geraldo did a wonderful job installing a tricky new boiler in an old building. They worked hard, were patient and kept going until the boiler was working properly. They explained everything as they went along and took the time to make sure I understood what I need to do to keep it in good running order. One of the things that impressed me the most about their work was that they didnt hesitate to get more information when needed and worked on any problem that came up until it was completely solved. I know I can trust each of them to do an excellent and complete job on any future projects. Thanks, Comfort Masters Service Professionals, for sending such an outstanding crew ! I want to add that Jesse Z was an outstanding project manager and made this a very enjoyable and educational experience, plus I got a nice new boiler! These guys really know their business.

Our furnace was not working properly. So service came very quickly and we were informed we needed a new furnace. Everything was explained thoroughly about new furnace installation and contract. Very reasonable. The furnace was replaced quickly and the new furnace was installed very professionally and is working well.

Discovered my basement drain was overflowing and shut down / damaged the furnace. Spencer came that evening and quickly got a plan to replace the well pump so the repairs on the furnance could begin. Joshua came right on time (actually closer to 8:30 instead of 12:30) which allowed me to get to work on time. He was friendly to both me and my cat, Biloxi. He tested everything and changed a filter. We discussed my beating COM ED by hitting an all-time low in my electric bill. We discussed the advantage of fans over AC and Heat costs here in Illinois. I missed seeing Roy who has come to my house here in Skokie and I think he came to my house when I lived in Park Ridge. Joshua is an excellent replacement (especially since I found out Roy was still active and working!)

Comfort Masters Service Masters installed m y HVAC system about 9 years ago. I have had a service agreement with them, Advantage+, since. I woke up on a cold fall Sunday morning with no heat, so I called them. I had a tech (Yury) on site later that day and the issue was fixed and everything was back to normal. Yury was competent, polite and neat. He and his Manager Nick also proved that not only do they live up to the letter of the maintenance agreement but they also live up to the spirit of the agreement. Thank you very much, Yury, Nick and CMSE!

We are so happy to have used them for decades, and for having the service contract that made replacing our entire system affordable at a predictable monthly cost that includes all service and maintenance. With a 10 year old unit, seems like a great way to help ensure that unit will last another 2-5 years. Both were professional and courteous and I felt comfortable with their full explanations.Winner — Job well done. 8 year old furnace has some wear and tear, but Josh showed me the problems, explained and offered alternative solutions. All done in a professional manner. Very satisfied.Josh was assisted by Eric who was also nice and professional.

Great experience with the plumbing team of Cody and Jack. Cody came out to rod my main sewer line and determined there was a broken pipe. We had other companies come out and none of them ever used a camera to check the line. Cody was the first one to do so and showed me where the problem lied in the broken pipe. After obtaining a permit from our village Cody came back with Jack and replaced the broken pipe. Cody kept me up to date on everything he was doing. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding his job and very safety conscious. After the inspection Cody and Jack returned to fill the wholes that were dug. They cleaned my sidewalk and driveway and did a great job at that as well. Cody is very personable and has a great sense of humor too. He and Jack made a messy job seem not that messy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a sewer line or other plumbing work done. They are an asset to their job.

Nick Aufmann of Comfort Masters is the Best of the Best! I was told by an alphabet company, that my furnace was deemed & needed replacement. They told me that there was a Crack & was leaking CO2. I freaked out & started getting estimates on a new furnace. Of course, they only sent salesmen, not service specialists. I called Comfort Masters & they sent a technician the same day. Nick proved to me that not only was my furnace in good running order, it was not leaking any CO2 at all. I will never forget them & will refer Comfort Masters to all my friends. I have a service agreement with them now to come out 3x a year to double check everything in my home from now on!

Every homeowner understands how they feel when, in the dead of winter, they learn that their furnace has died. A service call to CM resulted in Josh coming to our home in the dead of night. He assessed my 14 year old furnace and explained my choices as to its repair or replacement. His experience and knowledge of the issue we had was frank and appreciated. The next day we met with Nigel, who presented various advantages for each of the Lennox products appropriate for our needs, and, most importantly, provided his recommendation based upon our specific installation requirements without pressuring for a decision. Based upon his clear presentation, we discussed what we felt was the best product to install in our home. The next day our installers, John and Gerardo promptly arrived first thing. It had snowed the evening before, and they took care to ensure that the floors in our living space were protected (our installation required them to go thru the living spaces to make the installation). They clearly knew what had to be done, worked seamlessly with one another and before we knew it our old, nonfunctioning furnace was removed and the new one installed, all with the highest level of care for our home and our comfort. John took the time to show us the installation, discuss the furnace and how we could expect it to operate, as well as the new thermostat that was installed, answering our questions and providing clear information on the use of the digital thermostat, which would otherwise have been very intimidating. John anticipated our questions before we could ask them and is clearly an expert in the field! The whole team, and especially the process, was great! Just about the best home service Ive ever used. The techs were on time and called to let me know when theyd arrive. All the work was completed in a clean, professional and 100% satisfactory manner. The two installers, Joshua K. and Neil V. were extremely courteous, explained the work they were going to do and then went and got it done. Cleaned up after the work was done. Couldnt ask for a better experience. Roy was the best.

Roy and Bruce are a great team.. good service and standup comedy…but, equipment costs are way out of bounds when compared with google parts searchNow, it is a year later...another job...most covered by warranty, excellent service from two different crew members, one of the Joshua Johnson...I did not catch the other mans name. Two others will be back mid week to complete what appears to be a major job.April 10, 2024Two inspections today, all part of the maintenance service. First plumbing by a man named Jim, who went through every fixture in the house...bottom line, plumping is fine.Then it was the annual Air-condition check by Harris. He pointed out some issues, some suggestions and even a warning or two such as installation of a surge protector. Well look into it and talk to an electrician or two. Overall, very satisfied as usual with Comfort Master.

Comfort masters was great from beginning to end.John, our sales manager was very knowledgeable and made an excellent recommendation of the equipment. He processed our order quickly due to our schedule, and our install date was the next day.The installers, Jason, Bobby, Mike, Jim and Angel showedup right on time. They were extremely professional and got right to work.They stayed until everything was installed, tested and working, and thentrained me on our new thermostats, and showed me everything they installed. I have been working with Comfort Masters for 25 years, and would never use anyone else. Thank you!

Kris was great to work with. I have a furnace that’s near the end of its life. Kris diagnosed and explained the issue clearly and reviewed with me different options to get my heater back up and running. He also explained to me my options of replacing my furnace since it’s nearly 25 years old already which I appreciated. He was respectful, cleaned up after himself, and communicated clearly.

Bruce was incredibly timely and pleasant! While inspecting my unit and was knowledgeable and efficient. I really appreciated his honesty assessing my best options. I would highly recommend Comfort Masters for all your heating and AC needs! Thank you!After my consultation visit, Bruce returned with my model/ unit information. He was helpful and patient with my payment option concerns. He informed me that they could install the following day which was perfect for me! The next day, John the technician called on his way to my house. There were some mechanical issues with the service truck and he would call back to the office. He informed me that we may have to reschedule for next week. I received another call from John saying that Comfort Masters would send another technician and get John into a different vehicle and out to me as soon as possible. The second tech, I think was David(he looked like Matt Damon) arrived first and immediately got to work outside, removing my old AC unit. He was really nice and super quiet. He had to come back and forth frequently and I hardly heard him when he was inside my house. John arrived later, was apologetic and got right to work removing the heater in my place. John and Matt Damon worked in tandem, with a hilarious and fun rapport, and got everything done in record time. I left town for Thanksgiving holiday the next morning. It was such a relief to have my heating unit replaced just in time for another cold snap. The day I returned from the holiday, I fell ill and am still recovering today. I would have been sick, incapacitated, cold and unable to manage any type of service visit. Comfort Masters was professional, prompt, courteous and super competent.
