I recently hired Boston Building Concepts for a complete bathroom renovation in my Boston home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Manny and his team provided a fair and honest price that stood out from other quotes I received. From start to finish, communication was excellent—Manny was always professional, responsive, and kept me updated throughout the project.When unforeseen issues arose (as they often do during renovations), Manny had thoughtful recommendations and solutions that made the process seamless. The work was completed in a timely manner, with the only delays coming from the speed of Boston inspections, which was out of their control.The final result is stunning—a beautifully renovated bathroom complete with a brand-new bathtub. We just finished a 900sf basement renovation with BBC and they were fantastic. My husband and I are both Architects so we are familiar with construction industry and have high expectations. Manny and his team exceeded those expectations. We bid out our project to a few companies and Manny was also most reasonable and fair cost. Moreover he was a very good communicator especially when discussing options on scope changes. We already are gearing up to use BBC on our next renovation.

We had a major water pipe burst last year and needed to find a good contractor who we could trust to complete a complex renovation for our entire 3,000 sf home including 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, an open concept kitchen and a basement with an attached garage.After interviewing a few contractors, we chose to work with BBC/Manny because based on the excellent reviews from others and his fine character, we felt comfortable and confident immediately when we first met in his ability to do the job right and work well with us. We were so glad we made the right decision hiring Manny because he is knowledgeable, professional, communicative, responsive and a very kind man. Manny and his team member, Andrey always made us feel at ease when we were stressed out about our home situation, especially having to live elsewhere while the renovation happened. What we love most about BBC is they never said no to any of our requests. They went above and beyond to help us with all parts of the renovation from A to Z, including aspects outside of their responsibilities. Manny was not just our contractor, he also helped us with our interior design as well as where to buy appliances, furniture or any other small items or materials needed for the house. Specifically, he helped with research on different items, provided great advice&suggestions, and went out of his way to help us save money. After months of working with Manny and his team, we have built a great relationship. It’s so special that we really want to keep this great relationship with Manny as a close friend or a family member forever. We felt so sad once our beautiful home was completed because we now won’t be able to see Manny and his team often. Once we settle in, we will definitely ask them to come back and take care of our decks and other outside projects in the near future. This is the second attempt to leave our review for Manny and his team for their wonderful work. Weve just recently noticed Google Maps did not publish the review we thought we left more than a year ago. Manny and his team remodeled our kitchen and part of the dining room, they did a really great job, on time and on budget; weve been very happy with our kitchen since then and we are very thankful to them! What sets Manny/BBC apart from other contractors is: he is organized and a great communicator; very skilled and has a great eye for design and provides great suggestions/solutions and as a great planner he asks for your choice/preference ahead of time (so that all the parts with the same finish color and required quantity are ordered and nothing is missing whent its time to build and install); he is very knowledgeable and experienced, and unlike others who might scare homeowners by overblowing issues and inflating their prices, Manny is honest in assessing the scale of the problem and providing budget friendly solutions. We were lucky to find Manny/BBC for our project and even though we are quite flexible and not hard to please customers, I have to say that among all other contractors weve dealt with over the years, Manny/BBC is the only one whom we can recommend when asked for a contractor recommendation.

Boston Building Concepts recently completed a renovation of our kitchen/mudroom and two bedrooms. Manny and his guys were fantastic. Manny is very knowledgeable and skilled and understood exactly what we were trying to accomplish with our project. He made numerous suggestions that actually saved us some money! Because we have a quirky old house there were a couple unforeseen additions we had to make to complete the job. Manny was upfront with all this work and provided reasonable pricing. The team of subcontractors were great too. They are equally friendly. Our German Shepard, who is skeptical around most people, would regularly hang out with the guys. I received Mannys contact as a recommendation from a friend who said this guys great! I completely agree and have already recommended him to our neighbor as well as another friend.

Manny is the best! He is communicative, responsible, timely and kind. His work is great and his team can do anything you are looking for. We remodeled our kitchen and he was more than willing to do all the little extras to get our home ready to sell. He is professional and efficient with very fair prices. I will ask Manny to do any of my future home remodeling or repairs and happy to have his number in my phone! Love that guy!

Manny came highly recommended to us by our interior designer/architect. He and his team completed a gut remodel of 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in our condo and we were very happy with the results. With any renovation, there are always questions/concerns that arise and Manny was extremely responsive and reasonable in addressing them. We’ve worked with other Contractors before, but none have been as professional, responsive, and capable as Boston Building Concepts.

We worked with Manny for more than a year on a home addition. From inception and design all the way through the end of the process, he was always available to us with clear communication. He added a second floor to our home with three bedrooms and a bathroom, gutted and completely remodeled our kitchen, and reinforced the foundation of our home. Ive worked with Manny and BBC for more than five years starting with a gut rehab in our high-end, luxury brownstone in the South End. Manny did an outstanding job, from studs to finish work, including building a staircase to our roof and constructing the roof deck. His work also included plumbing, electrical, tile and paint.Manny also renovated another unit in our building three years ago and provided excellent workmanship, attention to every detail and professional customer service.Since then, Manny and BBC have done work on our cape house with a major repairs and finish work.We continue to work with Manny on the repair and upkeep projects that every homeowner must manage. Manny and the team did fantastic job completely rebuilding 8 outside second level decks for our small townhouse complex. From providing the estimates and opening up the permit until the end of the construction and inspectors review, the job has been done professionally, on time and on budget without any delays or interruptions. All our residents have been completely satisfied and some of them have asked for their contact information for any future jobs. I would highly recommend Boston Building Concepts for practically any general construction or repair project you might need.

I hired Boston Building Concepts to do a complete renovation of my apartment in 2017, including new kitchen (new cabinets, built-in refrigerator and freezer, new countertop and floor tile), new bathroom (new glass-enclosed shower, floor heater, new vanity, and new floor and wall tiles), living room improvements (refinished hardwood floor, new recessed lighting, and new marble around fireplace). In addition, they converted a kitchen closet into a washer/dryer unit, and installed a mini-split air conditioning/heating system. Throughout the process, Manny was a pleasure to work with. He and his team did beautiful work. I hired him again recently to install a skylight in the apartment, and would not hesitate to hire him for other work in the future.

I worked Manny and his team at Boston Building Concepts to remodel my kitchen in 2014 and again to remodel my bathroom in 2016. The kitchen remodel was very complex, involving the removal of a wall, replacing a door and a window, moving all plumbing and electrical, as well a complete gut of the existing kitchen walls and ceiling. He was great to work with. So much so that I called him again for my bathroom remodel (another complex project because the existing bath was done prior to my purchasing the home and was not up to code). I have another project I am thinking of doing now (2019), and if I move forward with it, I will definitely use Manny and his team. They are great to work with, responsive, thoughtful, and collaborative.

BBC recently completed a bathroom demolition and reconstruction and a new kitchen design and build for us, and the project came in exactly on budget and on time, and the quality of the work could not have been better. Manny is just the right amount of communicative, and his predictions of budgeting and timing were very accurate. He is very easy to work with and is very responsive, and most importantly, he is honest, takes ownership, and keeps his word. All in all, our experience was very pleasant.

Manny added a bathroom to our house, converting part of the master bedroom including demo, plumbing, electrical, etc. He is extremely professional and responsive, and worked with us to create a design and finishes that came out beautiful.
