    I dont know where to start, Star Painters work with dedication, honesty and top level of professionalism. My project was done as promised neatly on time with no ifs and buts. They work overnight because it was a restaurant. Two weeks straight always on time and made sure it was neat and clean before they left for the day. I highly recommend them.     Star Painters prepared and painted my cottage on Cedar Island in Clinton CT. The building is old and had not been painted for many years, requiring a great deal of surface prep and caulking. The house is sided with cedar shake and has pine trim. Many shakes had to be nailed and everything had to be scraped or sanded. There is no road to the site and all materials and staff have to travel by (my) boat. Although they had over an hour commute through New Haven traffic, they were only late by a half hour on two of the 10 days the job took. The project came out exactly as I expected, and was completed on-budget and on-time. Demir painted my house in Killingworth 8 years ago as well as my sons house in Madison 7 years ago, and they also came out great. Demir is on site on most days and demonstrates great attention to detail. He brought a carpenter one day to replace wood trim with PVC foam, and this guy also did a good job. I would highly recommend Demir and his team at Star Painters.

    Star Painters just did a fantastic job painting the downstairs of our house which was the icing on the cake after a full kitchen remodel. I cant believe how much the painting and all new colors enhanced the whole space. Demir and his team are excellent! I highly recommend them and would definitely have them back when the need arises, like when we paint the upstairs. All of the staff are extremely professional, they arrived on time every day and worked til 5 every day as well! They were meticulous in all aspects and always cleaned up and vacuumed every day before leaving! In addition to painting the walls, they painted all the trim, ceilings, doors and hallways which made everything really pop. You will get the quality you are looking for with Star Painters!

    Star Painters are the best! Very quick reply to setup a quote and confirm the job. Started the job within a week. Did some major repairs on ceiling drywall tape joints from storm related water damage. Showed up as promised at the stated time, unlike so many contractors out there. I HIGHLY recommend Demir and his company! Excellent work, thorough and the price was extremely fair.

    We recently hired Star Painters to do some work on the exterior of our home. Demir contacted me shortly after I submitted a quote request and scheduled time to come to our house to assess the project. He sent a quote and contract and got us on his shedule.They pressure washed and stained the exterior, prepped and painted the window frames and our front steps and prepped and painted our deck. They did a great job. Our house looks fantastic and we have received compliments from some neighbors too! Thank you to Demir and team for your excellent work and professionalism.

    I just can’t say enough about the quality of work of Star Painters. They came and sanded, repaired and painted 2 large decks for us. The workmen were courteous, clean and very professional. I knew I picked the right painter for the job when I asked the owner, “ don’t you paint these decks with a roller?” He said no, brush painting gives a more professional look, I knew I picked the right people to paint for me. Have a few other projects to paint and you can be assured I’ll call them back for those too.

    We used Star Painters for an interior repaint for walls trim and doors. They did a fantastic job. Demir and his guys were all friendly, professional, on time and even finished work ahead of schedule. We were so impressed by the work we asked if they had time for more in which they did. We decided to have them back for some additional work as well. Do not hesitate if you are looking for someone who is reliable, does great work and very fair priced.

    We have used Star Painters numerous times over the past 6 years. Demir is professional, friendly and very easy to work with. His crew were also professional, nice, and helpful. They work with you to achieve the best outcome and to make their customers happy with the finished project. Our recent project involved installing crown moldings and chair rails as well as painting the first floor and two upstairs bathrooms (They previously painted our 2nd floor and hallways). They did a great job and took care with our home. We will continue to use them for future projects! I highly recommend them!!!

    Demir, Star Painters owner, is extremely professional, prompt and quick to reply to emails, texts and/or phone calls. He and his crew not only removed all of my popcorn ceilings and repaired/painted all ceilings/walls and trim but also installed new engineered flooring, new baseboards and crown moldings. The end results were well executed and reasonably priced.

    I had the good fortune to meet Demir Nuredin and Star Painters through their listing on Angies List many years ago. Since then they have beautifully painted my house (in Washington depot CT) exterior and trim, and power washed/ repaired and replaced damaged wood and sealed the deck several times. It is rare when you find a contractor that not only offers fair and competitive pricing on a project, but one whom you can trust to perform top professional work, with reliability, attention to detail and excellent results. He and his team are really nice people as a bonus. You can not do better for your painting project.

    We recently used Demir for our project to removal popcorn ceilings from several rooms along with painting the walls, ceiling, trim, windows and doors. They took care of everything we asked for and more. Add ons were not a problem either. They were always on time, organized and professional. We will be using them for future project for sure!     My experience with Star Painters exceeded my expectations. And my expectations were very high. From the very first encounter with Demir (founder and head of the company) on a phone call and through texting, I had a great experience. He was respectful, quick to respond, straightforward, and helpful. He was able to give me a rough initial estimate based on my description and online Zillow ad. Then he scheduled a visit to confirm the price and showed up on time. I had changed my mind about the scope of work but his final cost was in line with what was expected based on his initial quote. But here’s the main reason for my rave review of him and his team - Demir pointed out that some of my base boards were coming loose and so his team nailed them in and then painted them beautifully. They also recommended sanding down areas to paint (areas that weren’t painted before) to enhance the aesthetics of the place. Basically, they go above and beyond. They don’t just paint. They always showed up a few minutes earlier than they said they would be there. Punctuality is so important to me! Also, they make sure to cover all your furniture, appliances and counters so that they don’t make a mess and they clean up after themselves. Demir instills a high level of trust as we often weren’t able to be at home while the job was being done. We even felt like he could be a friend. He’s so nice! We are hiring them for another job in a month or so - to paint the interior brick walls, trims, and stair case. Star painters will make your house beautiful without costing an arm and a leg! I can’t recommend them more!
