My moms furnace quit on Christmas morning which was purchased from a competitor. Although it was under warranty that company didnt answer their phone for their after hours emergency. Active Heating has always been there for me regardless of time of day and they answer their phone. Josh was excellent and my experience with their other technicians has been wonderful. I called Active Heating when my furnace quit working. They sent Josh Beutow the same day to see what was wrong. Josh was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. He explained what was wrong and what it would cost. A part was ordered and the next day Josh came back and fixed my furnace. Active Heatings customer service was great starting with my first phone call to Josh fixing my furnace.

A couple of months ago we had our boiler get fixed and cleaned up. We were very impressed by how quickly they were able to respond to our call. We called at about noon and they were able to be here already within a couple hours from that time. With having an in-home daycare, and usage from my family members, having hot water is very essential. Our service guy, Lance, was very good about explaining and showing what he was finding as problems with our system, and did a good job of getting it back to running again. 😃👍🏼

Will be calling again when needing the system serviced.UPDATE (its worth reading, I promise): For context, I have a tankless water heater/boiler system, so its very complex, at least to me. I have had the system for 6(ish?) years. The other company in town, Andor, installed it but never gave me any knowledge on the system; routine service or otherwise. Andor came out during the last doom and gloom season to service it when it stopped working. They never told me they no longer had anyone with any knowledge on the system, they guessed and replaced parts at random until they got lucky. 3k later and it still didnt work quite right but they talked down to me so badly and drained my account so I was stuck with it. My trust was gone and I was understandably angry. Fast forward to this cold season and I called up Active Heating, needing help due to it not turning on at all. They not only restored my trust by being honest and kind but also fixed everything that Andor had messed up so badly. Lance knew all about the system and even taught me a few things about it. Extremely fast service (same day), had the parts on hand (I nearly fell over with shock) and helped me save money by being honest about the warranty (which Andor had lied about repeatedly). Active Heating has a customer for life with me and I will speak highly of them any time the topic comes up. A note to Lance; thank you for being kind to me and to the new addition to my family that acted as your furry apprentice.

Our air conditioning unit had not worked properly since we built our house 5 years ago. Each year the installer would come out and add freon but would never come back to fix the unit. We were worried we would have to completely replace the heat pump . This year we called active Heating and Plumbing. When Travis showed up he was the utmost prfessional!! He began by thoroughly diagnosing the entire unit. It was not the heat pump at all . After diagnosing the issue and repairing one valve we are sure to be cooling properly for years to come. So we had an issue with our heater on a Saturday. I called and Josh arrived roughly 35 minutes later. He was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained the problem in detail to me once he found it and exactly how he was going to fix it. He took care of the issue quickly. After speaking to Josh for a bit he let me know about pre winter system checks and spring air conditioning checks. These system checks would have caught the particular problem in the fall and would have been almost half the cost of a weekend service call. Thanks to Josh’s professionalism active heating will be our go to heating and cooling professional.

I was referred to Active Heating by my son. He dealt with them when he had a new furnace installed in his home. My contact with them started because my furnace quit. It was on a weekend of course but Shawn was at my home in a very short period of time. He went through the furnace completely and it appeared that the igniter needed cleaning. He even followed up on Monday to see if the furnace was running ok and it was but it only lasted about 8 days before it started giving me problems once again. Bottom line, I needed a new furnace. Cory was so nice to work with because he is very friendly, he explained things thoroughly and showed me all of my options. Shawn and Lance came to do the install. That was done in a very timely fashion and before they left the work area was cleaned and swept up. My house is warm and cozy once again. Best part of the interactions with these gentlemen? Everyone one of them were very polite and friendly. Thats big! Youll never regret doing business with any of the people at Active Heating! In fact, shortly after I had my furnace installed, the furnace quit working where my son Gregg and his wife LeAnn have their store, Critter Mart & More. They referred the owner to Active Heating as well. Thank you Active Heating for a great experience.

I am very impressed with Active Heating! Our furnace went out last week. I phoned and Travis came within 30 minutes. He was thorough and then explained what was wrong and said that the part needed to come from Sioux Falls and could take a couple of days; he said that he would keep us updated on when it would be in. He even offered to bring space heaters if we needed them.We got a call the next day and Scott (scheduler) said that the part came in and that a tech would be right over.Entire staff is professional, helpful and caring. Thanks to all of you!
