We had a problem with a Takagi tankless hot water heater, it had stopped providing heated water. We called several plumbing companies to assess the issue and provide an estimate for repair. 3 companies sent out representatives and only one actually did an assessment. The other two just said that we needed a new water heater. One of those companies provided a bid on the spot and the other just disappeared. The third company did an exhaustive testing including calling Takagi and working with a Takagi technician to assess the problem. That company was Water Heaters Only.The representative from WHO was Justin Gonzales and he was fantastic. He explained everything he was testing in a very clear way and they finally decided that we did need, after all, a new water heater. I got an estimate online from WHO. I accepted the estimate.Soon thereafter Justin came back out to our house with a replacement tankless hot water heater. He was alone with a difficult installation to do. He said he had installed quite a few tankless water heaters by himself in the past. I was a bit dubious because the water heaters are not light and they need to be installed hanging off a wall. Justin did an incredible job, got the new tankless plumbed in and working perfectly. I was pretty much astounded that he could do what he did with no help. The final installation was flawless and Justin was such a polite, competent and pleasant person. I recommend this company wholeheartedly and if you can get Justin to do the work you are in the best hands that you could possibly get.

In fact, I called their office around 1:30pm and and told me that’s they have an opening at 2 to 4 pm.Around 2:10pm Clayton Young, a Service technician called and confirmed that he’ll be at my place approximately 45 minutes. Had my water heater blowout on Tuesday. Used my Fidelity home warranty and WHO was able to work with them for my replacement. Danny was the tech, he was on time and communicative, very polite and did a really nice job with getting rid of the soft drywall that the old water heater sat on and put some new plywood down. Really happy with my new water heater.

This was our first time using Water Heaters Only and it was a great experience compared to general plumbers who can install water heaters but it is not their specialty.From the initial call to the installation the service was top notch. We called at 1 pm, they took our information about the unit that we were replacing and by 2 pm they had a tech at our house with the replacement unit. They had already pulled the permits and It was installed in under 2 hours. They took away the old water heater.Justin was our service tech. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He walked us through the installation process before starting. After installation he gave us a thorough review of the new unit explaining all the hook ups and the proper operation of the unit. One of the best service techs we have had at our house for any issue.We would highly recommend Water Heaters Only. They are very professional with quick response and use experienced techs. Also they take care of any warranty issues so if something goes wrong with the unit you deal directly with them and not the manufacturer.

I called 4 places to get my 10 yo water heater replaced. Two would not give me an estimate over the phone but would be willing to give me an estimate if I first gave them some money to come out. 1 gave me a price range over the phone that was about $1,000 higher than waterheateronly. I went with waterheateronly. John came out and refined the quote range I got on the phone with an exact estimate within that range based on the code upgrades it needed. John was friendly and meticulous. He clearly knew what he was doing and had all the right components and equipment to do the work. He did not rush and was cheerfull all the way through. I installed my last water heater myself including, transporting it, multiple trips to find the right adapters, asking a neighbor to help me lift it, and disposing of it. We were without hot water for about 1.5 days. I promised myself to have someone else do it the next time. Im glad I did. It was well worth it.

A blown water heater is never fun, so annoying how they leak everywhere when they do go. So happy that after a quick phone call I had an appointment for a replacement water heater install. Service tech Justin showed up on time and was very professional. He did a great job swapping out the old water heater for the new including new gas valve and shut offs. He showed me how to work the unit and put a sticker on unit with the warranty information and their number to call next time I need one. Next time I’ll replace it ahead of its end of life date. Back in business with hot water, yay!

This is a great company with professional, skilled technicians that will go above and beyond to make sure the job gets done. We were very pleased that we could get our leaking water heater replaced the same day that we called Water Heaters Only. The customer service on the phone was great, I felt understood and respected. He did a quality job by replacing old piping & making that piping more space efficient, adding a tray under the water heater, supplying an additional wood panel for the stand we had, and bringing everything up to code. Jim came to our house almost immediately, gave us reasonable options with quotes. We chose to replace our water heater. Jim then greased the skids (took the water pressure reading, hooked up the pipes so we could still use cold water in the house without having water flow into the hot water pipes, turned off the gas, disconnected all pipes, ...) for Justin who worked in the dark and very cold garage until 9:00 p.m.; Justin then took the time to explain the new features of our upgraded water heater. Yesterday you guys installed a new water heater. I’m very happy. The job is neat and we have hot water again. I guess that’s the main thing right? Well no, anyone can do that, the main thing is how you do your work. Your guy Thomas, what a gem. The whole time he was here he was happy, spoke highly of the company, explained everything to me and reinforced my decision to buy from you. It’s a significant sum, more than I thought it would be but Thomas made me feel it was the best thing I could have done. I absolutely believe and trust him. They were able to book us an appointment for the next morning and knowing we would need a replacement due to age, the Technician showed up with a new heater! When does a water heater fail? Why, on the Friday before a three day weekend of course. Afraid I’d be without hot water for four days, I called Water Heaters Only thinking that a company that specialized in one thing might do it well. I was right. My phone call was answered promptly and politely. I received an explanation of the process, a ballpark price estimate and an appointment for that afternoon. I was pleased. I was more pleased when technician Justin arrived on time and ready. He diagnosed the problem with the old tank, gave me a clear and detailed account of exactly what he would do and gave me a price estimate consistent with the phone quote. I agreed and Justin got to work. In two hours the old tank was gone, a new one installed and the mess in the garage cleaned up. Justin walked me through the operation of the new tank, explained the warranty ,gave me maintenance tips and completed the paper work. The whole process was as painless as dealing with water tanks can be. I hope this tank will last a good many years, but when it fails Water Heaters Only will get another call.

When I discovered some water in the catch pan, they sent John B. out to our home with a replacement 75 gal. water heater. We had two 50 gallon water heaters installed by Water Heaters Only, yesterday April 3rd, 2019. We replaced two water heaters of the same size that were 16 years old. They were still working fine but we decided to be proactive and not wait for a problem to develop. Our installers Mike and Chris did an excellent job. They were on time, very nice and very considerate. They explained everything we needed to know both before and after the job was done and they took the time to answer all of our questions. They did not pressure us to purchase from them. They in fact encouraged us to shop around and get other quotes if we wanted. I couldn’t be happier with the new water heater installation from Water Heaters Only. Tom scheduled me promptly for next day service. Danny the installer, was on time and extremely professional, knowledgeable, and competent. He went the extra mile by replacing some fittings that had worn out and also installing a wooden spacer between the back of the heater and the wall as a moisture barrier. Our water heater was at it end of life and leaking. I called around to several companies to get estimates and education. The price range was $1600+ to $2931. Highly recommended for your installation and replacement water heater needs!Our 2008 water heater began to degrade over the last day with a leak then finally no hot water after 2 days. On Friday at 12pm we called Water Heaters Only and Sean was able to slot us in for the next morning. We were told 9am-12pm for Saturday morning and was given a quote based on location and type of the current water heater.Saturday morning at 9:15am I received a text that a technician had been dispatched to my house and 1 minute later received a call from Jim that he and Justin would be arriving within 30 minutes. They arrived with masks on and walked me through the work they would do based on assessment of the replacement work. The total they calculated was within the quoted price and did not change once their work was done. They were very professional and patient with my questions and did a great job communicating and cleaning up after their work was complete. In total they able to complete the replacement of the water heater in less than 3 hours (including the assessment and payment of services).
