He cleared the stoppage quickly and professionally and then he scoped the line to tell me why this issue keeps occurring. All I wanted was to have a garbage disposal replaced. The quote was over $1,000 (parts and labor) or a cheaper replacement for $700 (parts and labor). Wayyyy too much. But, I loved that the representative called me and quoted me over the phone. That’s all I wanted … not an appointment. So it all was good as far as customer service. Just a bit too pricey for me at this time. Got it done by someone else for $400.00. Done! My rating is for customer service … not the cost.

He cleared a blockage under the house that caused it, and returned Monday morning for a thorough cleaning of the drain pipes. CRIS arrived, assessed the blockage, presented me with alternatives. He tried the auger, and when that did not work, used the jetter. He installed new wax rings on two toilets. After a failed attempt to clear several backed up drains, I had to call 6 plumbers to come out, Thomas was the last call and the only person willing to come to the rescue at midnight. He showed up all smiles and cleared the main line in about an hour. He made sure everything in the house was functioning and assured us he’d come back at no additional charge if we had further problems. Super polite and just an awesome young man. He saved us!!!

Excellent professional service. I called many many places this weekend, desperate to find a local plumber as the blockage was affecting several drains. Then I remember roto rooter who had taken care of a prior home of mine. They were very responsive to my needs and managed to schedule a plumber within 2 hours of my call. I got text reminders and updates of when to expect the plumber. When he arrived Oscar was professional, polite. upbeat, and glad to be of service. He was very informative and helpful. The problem was fixed within 30 minutes. We were delighted and grateful. After dealing with this problem the entire weekend and having other local plumbers make me feel like I should be honored if they were able to fit me in next week much less this weekend, I’m glad to have found such a fast professional service to help us with our plumbing emergency.

Very professional and kind people to deal with. Field techs are very knowledgeable and office staff is always helpful. They are prompt and understand issues with rental properties. The only criticism I have is that there are VERY pricey compared to other plumbers we use and it is hard to justify their cost to our homeowners.

Our entire experience was awesome! I called Roto Rooter on a Sunday morning and Miguel arrived 30 minutes later. We had a backed up toilet and the house was starting to smell. Miguel scoped the problem, explained his strategies, and then got it all fixed with no mess within hours. It could not have been handled better from our perspective. We will definitely use Roto Rooter (and hopefully Miguel!) again.

When you come home to your first floor flooded, your emotions become frantic, but these individuals were fast and friendly. I was surprised that Roto-Rooter offered more services than just plumbing (emergency water help). The entire team is helping me from water containment and cleanup, to drying, to demo, to recommending contract work. They also got me in contact with other vendors (exp: emergency pack out services), and are also helping me to communicate with insurance. I appreciate their patience to make sure everything is documented and covered. I wouldn’t want to go through this ordeal again, but now I know who to call.

Right now the clog is gone and the water goes down into the drain. According to Chris, I can call him back , should there be any problem within 15 days. The 15 days warranty is not good. Too short. It should at least be 90 days warranty because the service fee is already pretty high. It is now double the price of the previous service made in my kitchen sink. Chris is professional and had shown an excellent customer service.

Joel was fantastic! He came out to fix a back up which was starting to flood my guest bathroom late on a Friday night. He assessed the situation and went right into action. Unfortunately, the issue was a belly in a pipe I had already replaced a couple of years ago. Joel was able to pin point the problem and showed me with a scope where the issue was. He explained to me how and why the last repair (by a different company) failed. He and his team came back the next day to dig a 4-5 foot ditch in my front yard in order to fix the issue. They were all awesome guys. The repair was almost $6,000, but it was professionally done in a timely manner and I also have a 10 year warranty. Whom ever owns this house after me, will likely never have this issue to worry about. I would highly recommend Joel From Roto-Rooter Vista office.

I have mixed feelings about my experience with RotoRooter. First, I called at around 1 pm on Saturday to report a clogged main drain line and was told someone would be here in the afternoon. But late in the afternoon, we got a call saying that there had been a delay and that no technician was available until the next morning. The next morning came but we got no calls from RotoRooter. So I called and was told someone would be here between 11 am and 1 pm. But 1 pm came and went and still no technician. So I called once again and was told someone would be here within an hour. That hour passed and still no technician. So I called yet again and was told the technician was on his way and would be here in half an hour. And to my utter surprise, he was!The good part of my experience was the technician, Theo Barone. Theo was friendly, smiling, helpful, knowledgeable and a general pleasure to be around. He found the clog without any trouble and immediately cleared it. As he worked, he was extremely pleasant and conversational, answering any questions I asked clearly and completely. Overall, Theo was one of the most likable service technicians I have ever encountered. His personality (almost) made up for the inconveniences I experienced before his arrival.

This turned out to be many days over a 3 week time period to find where the blockages were and to figure out how to clear them from roots and dirt throughout the driveway. As work was being done, the found a gas line that has been punctured by a small rock. They were able to repair the gas line and clear all the drain lines. Im sure it was a much bigger job then they initially planned on, but they kept me informed with everything and didnt just do a partial job and say they were complete. Highly recommended.

I was introduced to Brett & Theo who initially came to clear up a backed up kitchen sink. This original part of the house is about 70 years old with subterranean cast iron plumbing system for wastewater disposal. They discovered a large cast iron blockage and could not camera nor rod past the blockage to internally clean the pipe. This left a very costly option to excavate the floor and tunnel to replace original cast iron. Brett presented me with an excellent option, exceedingly cheaper than excavation, to cut into the under sink drain and reroute an ABS pipe to a location through the wall turning approximately 7 feet behind the washer & dryer and hooking into the 4” waste line below the clean out for a more direct waste water disposal point abandoning the original cast iron run from the kitchen sink down to the 4” main disposal line. The workmanship by Theo was clean and efficient, very professionally done leaving me with drywall repairs to access points and replacing a small hardwood floor area around the tie in point as they do not do that type of work. Brett’s flexibility in problem solving and working with me is commendable and Theo’s workmanship was near perfection! I would recommend this pair without question regarding their work and work ethic. Thanks guys!!!

The technician assigned to my request was Marco A. A young man who was very respectful and diligent in his work. It was tough to find the leak as the worst of the damage was no where near the leak. We had major backyard flooding because our french drains at our new to us home were blocked. Called and had techs here in a few hours. They flushed the pipes clean in an hour and will be back with a cam to check for any root damage or breaks in the morning. Techs were kind, helpful and would absolutely wonderful. We couldnt find a plumber when we find out that we had a leak coming on the side of the house and needed immediate inspection on the 22nd of December. Roto-Rooter was able to come the next day, Brian Glynn and Brice showed up and they explained how pricing work, and immediately start detecting leak. Our issue included a slab leak, popping up tile flooring so you can imagine its no little task as we are so close to the holiday. Brian and Brice was polite, and wore mask during this time of covid, had excellent customer service, and proven expertise. They did a great job communicating the next steps, so there is no surprises and include us in the inspection prior to filling up the cement. We are so impressed!!

Tony suggested that it was better to replace the drain than unclog the existing drain. I know that I can rely on roto Rooter for any future problems and wont hesitate to call them.

RotoRooter Oceanside 5/21/21. 2 pm Garbage disposal was plugged and called RotoRooter Oceanside. I received a preliminary time estimate of 4-5 pm. Received another estimate of 5-7 pm and was asked if that was OK. In a very short time I was advised that a plumber finished early in Escondido and would arrive Oceanside in 45 minutes. The plumber arrived, investigated, fixed the problem, cleaned up and described the problem all in 15 minutes (its now 4:30 pm). He proceeded to leave and I asked for a bill. Svc man shows up, surveys the problem, states fee, leaves to get the right machine for job. Man returns about 1:00pm with machine. Machine fails to function, motor will not start. Negotiate return visit with technician, recognizing techs personal work schedule and agree on Friday 4/24 at 1:00pm (to 3pm window)Day 4: 4/24 technician shows up at 4:00pm and works diligently for 2 hours servicing the drainage to and apparently successful outcome.I satisfied with the technician Enrique O.I am unimpressed by the ability of the firm to meet promised schedule.I felt the fee was on the high side of the range for 2 hours of one man and a fairly simple trailer mounted pump.
