My plumbing service experience with True Plumbing technicians has been very positive. Donn was the first to come out to provide a bid for my pipe re-route. He was knowledgeable, kind, and confident in providing a good solution. Delfino visited for a follow up to answer my questions and was professional and personable. This confirmed my decision to go with Donn to get this job done for my house. This morning, Donn and his assistant Roberto arrived in the morning and completed the work sooner than I had expected. I am pleased that this process wasn’t as “painful” and difficult as one might expect. I can highly recommend Donn as a plumbing professional to any of my friends and family who need service at their homes. Thank you True Plumbing for having a wonderful staff!

Adolfo was a great plumber. I needed immediate attention and he was here in an hour… He was able to cap off my shower faucet so I could get the rest of the home’s water running. I want to give the staff at True Plumbing my highest compliment. This morning i realized after trying to take out washer hoses that they were old and corroded i went to google & found True Plumbing. I called & their customer service was very nice & helpful & she was able to schedule me in today. I got a text from their teck Adolfo before he got to my house, he was very respectful & polite & explained everything he was going to do. Derek was so great getting us a brand new toilet, and assembling it. We had a little problem w/ it, but he fixed it right away and went WAY out of his way to solve another issue which was that I forgot to keep the toilet lid from former toilet that we had just bought a month ago which is wooden & no noise when putting seat down. He had already taken it to the dump, but went all the way back to retrieve it, found it and brought it back and even installed it! WOW! Also he was very honest in telling us that we didnt need a new flange yet, saving us an extra couple hundred $. Thank you for all your effort and kindness.

We initially contacted True Plumbing for a mystery leak in our pantry. Donn showed up almost immediately after contacting the office - having finished a job early and went straight to work. We felt so much comfort from the initial meeting, we began to discuss the other plumbing issues we kept running into. Donn finished the first call and then helped us understand the issues and potential solutions. The first impression was so great, we decided to continue working with True by signing up for a repipe and water conditioning system. Both items were always put off due to the expense and not finding a good company - until we met Donn and True Plumbing. We pulled the trigger and the team got to work the next week. Donn and his co-worker Ron were the upmost professionals. Both kept us up to date on the repairs and repiping process. They gave us accurate timelines and daily updates. Our house proved to be a test - as the previous owner had done some temporary repairs - incorrectly. Donn and Ron corrected the piping paths - and were able to be proactive with their continued approach. They were the best. The job was completed on schedule and done to perfection. It was great listening to them go over their work with a fine toothed comb. They were the so professional and considerate during the job and we genuinely enjoyed having them at the house. Repiping is a large investment and we were proud to find True Plumbing to exceed our needs. 10/10. We would highly recommend them.

We called True Plumbing to inspect a water heater that stopped working unexpectedly. True’s plumber, Donn, came out the next day and replaced our water heater. He first told us we could repair the part that had failed however we decided to replace instead.Because Donn had been professional, an excellent technician, and a clean worker, we asked him to prepare a proposal to fix several other plumbing items in our house. We received his proposal the next day. We contacted True and scheduled an appointment to perform the additional work and requested Donn as the tech.Donn arrived just after 8am three days later and performed all of the requested items. He was just as pleasant, capable and organized as during his initial visit.It’s comforting when you find a go-to vendor for items that you cannot (or prefer not to) do yourself. We’ll contact True Plumbing and request Donn if we have future plumbing issues.

So Tony from True Plumbing literally left my house minutes ago but I was so impressed I had to get on Yelp to review. We had a water issue with a cracked elbow joint that was in a pretty tough spot in the ceiling of our garage leading up to an upstairs sink and vanity. I initially called my home warranty company who sent out a plumber who really had no idea how to get at the problem. He actually suggested that wed have to remove an entire bathroom vanity. I told him Id get back to him. He really didnt have the knowledge or desire to do the work.After seeing great reviews of True on my Nextdoor app I made an appt with them. Tony was here right on time and after assessing the situation decided what to do. He left to get some parts he didnt have and with some back and forth up and down the stairs to put it all back together he finished the job.Very nice guy, great company that I would call again in an instant.

There was a noise coming from a water pipe and a toilet had water continually running.Tony came by and was really was very good dealing with both issues.He went in our attic and was able to diagnose the pipe noise and determine exactly which pipe the noise was coming from. We were told the noise was water hammer.The toilet was a difficult fix but he was able to perform the repair.I would hire True Plumbing again.

This past week our hot water heater - less than one year old - went out on us. After my self-diagnosis yielded no helpful information, I decided to give our home warranty a shot, but the contractor they assigned to us flaked and we lost 3 days in the process.In desperate straits, I called True Plumbing, and Jess jumped on our issue immediately. She got a plumber out to us that same day to try to diagnose the issue, and the next day Jess and Tony worked tirelessly to get the manufacturer of our water heater to honor the warranty and get the unit fixed.When the manufacturer demanded that we call out an electrician to troubleshoot the unit while on the phone with them, I spent half a day calling around to find an electrician who could schedule us quickly, and had zero success - most told me their soonest opening was at least 4 days out.At that point I decided it was time to replace the water heater with one that had a less-complicated warranty. I let Jess know, and she arranged for a new water heater from a more reputable manufacturer to be available the following morning. Tony came by before noon, installed our new water heater and hauled away our old one.From start to finish, True Plumbing was not only professional and lightning-fast, but it was obvious that they were dedicated to helping us solve our crisis as quickly and economically as possible.

We worked with True Plumbing on two projects. We recently had a leak in our pantry and we were able to get in touch with Donn right away. He came even though it was the end of his day and addressed the leak immediately. He was professional and clear with his work. We even discussed with him our ongoing leak issues and asked for a repipe estimate.We had been considering a repipe for a while, and with our new comfort and quote we were ready to move forward. Less than a week later we had Donn and now Ron back at our home to address repiping. They quoted us 3-4 days and got it done in 4. Our house had a lot of work done by a handyman that they addressed during the repipe.All in all they did it on time, on our budget and we’re very friendly and professional. It’s rare I feel comfortable with workers in our home since we have a baby and pup and I felt very comfortable with them and by the time they left they felt like family. Everyone came to say bye :) thank you for making us feel taken care of!

We used True Plumbing for a new bathtub installation. The project was broken out int two phases:Phase 1 - relocating the pipesPhase 2 - installing the actual bathtubPhase 1 was completed without issue, and the team told use they would be back to complete phase 2 with 4 people to accommodate the size of our large tub.Phase 2 was schedule for 8am, 8/12/22, and only 1 person arrived on site. They said due to the office miscommunication and scheduling error, the would not be able to complete the agreed upon work and offered no commitment for rescheduling, informing us we needed to call the main office.We called the main office and respectfully expressed the urgency of our situation: this installation needs to be prioritized as I am 8+ months pregnant, we are installing this *so* that I can use the tub for a water birth at home, the baby can come anytime, not to mention its extremely frustrating walking around a giant tub to pee in the night 5x everyday. Days delay due to error is acceptable, a week is not.They said they understood the urgency of our situation and promised to call back within the hour.By 2pm no one had called us back. Upon follow-up they confirmed that the best they can do is Thursday the following week.I am extremely disappointed by:1) Refusal to take responsibility for their error2) Lack of urgency in rectifying the issue3) Lack of empathy for my pregnancy and our extenuating circumstancesUpdate:The business reached out to my husband to reschedule the follow-up and was able to rectify the situation on the following Tuesday (formerly Thursday).We were happy with this accommodation and the final installation was completed without issue.I have updated this review without the request of the business, which to their credit, is a testament to their commitment to doing the right thing.

Ive used True Plumbing for the past 5 years every time Ive needed a plumber. They are always on-time, clean-polite, great responsiveness at the front office too. They let you send pictures of your problem, links to videos I made, and then tell me the exact cost before they ever come to fix it. Each time the price turned out to be exactly what they quoted me on the phone. Overall I highly recommend them. They have replaced my water heater, fixed a leaking shower cartridge valve, and also a leaking shower drain. Each time it was affordable and thorough with no flaws in the workmanship or materials. I am a DIY guy but plumbing is something that is always best to hire an expert. True Plumbing staff are definitely experts! Stephen has been my plumber to come out on the last 2 visits. Hes pleasant and very knowledgeable and efficient. I would additionally say that if Stephen is the plumber they send to your house, youre in great hands.

Michael Muto, owner of True Plumbing (Carlsbad) is an incredible person, as well as, a wonderful plumber. We met Michael through a kitchen remodeling job we had, really liked him, and have since used him exclusively for any of our plumbing needs. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and a genuinely nice guy, someone you enjoy having in your home. He is very quick in getting to any emergency or emergency-like situation. He has always given us options in problem solutions. He has handled kitchen plumbing, laundry room, water heater, and bathroom sinks and toilets for us. Mike with True Plumbing was nothing but courteous, prompt and professional. He went out of his way to help us with our broken water heater. Additionally, another plumber told us our leaky sink couldnt be fixed because he couldnt get the part for it, but Mike was easily able to get the part and fix the faucet in less than 30 minutes, saving us the expense of a new kitchen faucet!I would highly recommend True Plumbing!
