This review is overdue (it’s been a busy year), but I need to give some much deserved praise to Hometown Plumbing! They are our go-to plumber now. They just go above and beyond and do quality work for a reasonable price. Their business is run very ethically. They tell you like it is and never try to up sell you.My husband and I just bought a house in Vista last November, which is a major fixer. I’ve since learned that some contractors are more salespeople than they are tradespeople. Not Hometown! They are a good company.We have worked with Hometown four times. The first time was for an estimate for a sewer line repair. Jorge came out and you can just tell he really knows his trade . Better yet, he’s not trying to upsell you on things you don’t need! When we were shipping around, we got an estimate from a different plumber and the *other guy* never showed us any specific issues but just was trying to get us to redo all of the plumbing in our house ($$$$$)! From that point, Jorge stood out in my mind as a trustworthy contractor.The second time was having our kitchen sink plumbing installed (u-trap, air gap, garbage disposal). I don’t remember the names of the two guys who came out that time, but they were very professional, friendly, and did a great job! The price was reasonable and they installed in very quickly.The third time was when we had to have some major work done on our sewer. We waited too long and there was a blockage. This time, Vu (the owner) came out to do the work. He was just so great and took the time to explain everything to us. At first we thought it was just the water line, but they soon discovered it was the sewer line after all. It had been installed with the wrong grade before (we have a really long driveway). At this point, they could have left us hanging but Vu stands by his work and wouldn’t complete a job without knowing it was done right. They dug up the whole line and laid a new one for us, this time with the right grade. I was so impressed with his integrity and the quality of the work. From that point I was definitely a lifelong customer!The fourth time was for some other plumbing issues we had in the back of our property. We have old cast iron and it needs to be replaced. The crew was great and helped us with a temporary solution to the blockage while we save up some more money for a more permanent solution. (Oh the joys of being home owners)To sum it all up, I highly recommend Hometown Plumbing! If you want a reliable, trustworthy contractor that does quality work, this is the place. Mr. Joseph responded within 20 minute of my non emergency leak and plumbing clog call. He was honest with cost and how to get the issues fixed with little cost. The guys came out two weeks ago after we discovered a leak coming from a toilet. They were fast- getting to the bottom of the issue quickly and had it repaired in no time. This week our garbage disposal decided to go on hiatus, so I did not hesitate to call Hometown since they were so good the first time. Again, job was gone quickly and said disposal is back from vacation! Very responsive and professional!

My mom experienced a water break behind her toilet, flooding her bathroom. I contacted Hometown Plumbing while in route, explained the situation and Travis, the dispatcher, had somebody rolling to my moms within the hour. I was able to secure the water before the plumber arrived .Randy showed up and assessed the situation. Within an hour, repairs were made, Professionally and clean. Randy knew what he had to do. He went well and beyond and performed repairs quickly. Definitely a great employee and person.THANK YOU!!!

We had a toilet emergency last night and Hometown Plumbing responded quickly. Our toilet bowl kept on filling even though we had shot off water etc...The pipes were full of water due to a blockage and so water kept on accumulating in pipes, not allowing anything to get to septic tanks. Jorge quickly identified the issue. Jorge was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and was able to solve our problem. It took a little while but he never gave up and made sure all was great before he left. He came at 11PM with a smile and ready to do whatever was needed to help us. Thank you!

My experience overall was very good. The technician (Mickey) was very friendly and respectful. His work was very good and for the extent of work performed, he was very fast. I had a complete re-piping under the home. Although, there was a little issue, with a small irrigation pipe that was accidentally broken during repairs. However, Justin at Hometown Plumbing is in the process of correcting that issue. I would recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

Hometown plumbing really came through for us this week. We have had constant issues with our 70 year old pipes since another plumber left a piece of pipe in our sewer line. We first contacted a corporate plumbing company who charged us for hydro jetting and then told us that we needed to replace our entire system at a cost of 7k. We called Hometown and their plumbers were able to remove the object with their hydro jetter alone. No need to replace anything. They have a really great team of professionals that work until the job is done, and dont leave you with a mess. Their plumber Joseph stayed until 7 PM on a Sunday night so that we were taken care of. All of the staff that we worked with were courteous and professional. Joseph even gave me tips on how to improve the efficiency of my tankless water heater. He said that they can instal and service them too. All in all we are very happy customers and would recommend them to any who want an experienced, honest plumber.

Today is the 4th of July and not only was the company very responsive, so was Justin aka JC. JC came out professionally gave us an amazing quote we agreed and he was on this job. He had us up and running with water within an hour. Keep in mind this is the 4th and what a bummer to have something like this happen. What a life saver JC is to get this fixed for us in a timely fashion, professional and super courteous!! Thank you for all your attention to detail and teaching me along the way!

Hilario was AMAZING! We purchased a new washer and dryer tower to be delivered and installed, only to find our we had corroded valves...so installation came to a halt. After waiting a month for the delivery (and not being able to do laundry), we were crushed. I reached out to Hometown Plumbing, who sent Hilario out within hours! When he arrived, he was thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was able to replace the valves immediately. He went above and beyond! He was communicative, and even explained that he left a note for the installers, since our hot and cold water lines were switched. That literally saved us time and headache since Im sure they would not have checked. I cannot recommend Hilario enough! Be sure to call and ask for him!

He spent two hours running tests and came to correct diagnosis. He even shared the replacement part number so I could buy online, which was a savings. When I received the part, the office sent Joseph out within an hour to finish the repair. From now on, they will be my “go-to” company for plumbing needs.

My concrete patio wasnt draining after a heavy rain. Jorge was at my house for 12 hours until the job was done. You could tell he took a lot of pride in his job. Every time he pulled a bunch of tree roots, he smiled as if was discovering a huge nugget of gold. And Nathaniel did a great job replacing my faucet, fixing my garbage disposal and getting the dishwasher to drain properly. I highly recommend these guys.

In mid-July we had a pipe bust in our ceiling and the water went down into the kitchen walls. After Hometown Restoration (Teresa Ponce and Frank were amazing) came through to mitigate the damage, their plumber (Solomon Fraizer) showed up and was able to locate the source of the leak with one cut into the ceiling. He repaired it quickly and was very respectful of our home and professional. Solomon was great and did a fantastic job.This week, we had the plumbing team back as we requested a temporary sink be installed so we could have some use of our kitchen. Steven Baloun arrived to install the sink and encountered many issue with our old, cracked pipes and rusted faucet. He had to make decal trips to Lowe’s to complete the task and throughout it all kept me informed, answers my questions and explained throughly why the repairs needed to be done. Steven was professional and respectful of my home and did a great job!However, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Justin (the owner) who has been flexible with my situation. We have used Hometown Plumbing and Hometown Restoration for this issue and I highly recommend their services. They will be my go to whenever we are in need.

Jorge wouldnt give up and completed the job after another plumber hadnt brought the necessary equipment to do the job. Wanted me to wait two days before he could get back out?! I had already not had a working kitchen sink for three days because it happened on a Friday night. Jorge Garcia was just the man for the job and very professional. He cleaned up when he was through. Unfortunately, it left an annoying humming sound every time we turned on the water. I called them to come fix it and they did. They responded quickly and took care of it.

Our tankless water heater was beeping and showing an error code. We had no water running through our pipes. My husband and I are pretty handy but after about an hour of trying we couldnt figure out how to fix the error code. We called Hometown Plumbing around 10 am and they had said a technician would be at our home btwn 1 and 3.The technician showed up at exactly 1:00 . Just that alone, is a reason to go with Hometown plumbing. As we all know companies that give you a window of time to show up and then show up 3 hours later. Jorge Garcia showed up on time and was extremely helpful, professional, and kind. Showing me what steps he was taking to resolve the issue and answering all of my questions so I can avoid and or fix the issue the next time (it hopefully doesnt happen)It took Jorge about 2 hours to fix it and I am greatful that he did.
