Used this company because my home warranty company assigned them to me. Easy to schedule an appointment. I was able to get an invoice and report of work done after I requested. My heat pump problem was resolved. Nicole was amazing. Excellent customer service displayed by all involved. The technician that completed the repair was very informative. So far, the heat pump is working just fine.

I highly recommend Neblett Construction. I received service on my air conditioning through American Home Shield. The phone staff is very pleasant. And the technician Christopher went way over and beyond to meet the need.He arrived to do the service at the end of a long, hot day in the middle of a rain storm.I had been sweltering in my home waiting. He had to tell me the service couldn’t be done while it was raining. I was very, very disappointed. However, Christopher waited for 15 minutes at the end of my street for the rain to stop. He quickly came back to my house and had the AC fixed in an hour. Wonderful technician , wonderful company.

Neblett Construction Company was sent out by American Home Shield. During the scheduled day, they called me to update the arrival time, Christopher identified the problem, but had to get the part, within 30 minutes he was back and fixed the unit. Excellent service.

This review is LONG overdue, so I owe my apologies to Neblett. I rent a home in Norfolk, and the owner of the home uses American Home Shield. It was my very, very good fortune that Neblett Construction was selected to service the homes A/C unit. For three consecutive summers, I have experienced problems with the air conditioning. During that time, one technician or another came out to the house and put a bandaid on the situation, but no one was able to get the system to run properly for more than two months. The experience that I had with Neblett was wonderful, really, from the lovely initial phone call with Nicole to the repair work performed by the technician. I will add that this gentleman came out during the height of my trepidation over CoVid 19, and to my relief, he wore PPE and spent no more time inside my house than was absolutely necessary. He was the ONLY technician from the ONLY company to get the unit running properly, and I would not hesitate to recommend Neblett in the future.

My heating system died sometime during the coldest night/morning of Jan 2021. AHS referred me to Neblett Construction Company. Because I’d changed phone service carriers, I missed their initial call to schedule their visit; as the AHS protocol says, repair agencies have up to 24 hours to contact customers. As I had not heard from Neblett, I called them at exactly at 24.5 hrs to see what happened. The Customer service rep answered and informed me they’d call me approximately 2 hrs after being contacted by AHS, and call went to a “full voice” mail. We discussed and he professionally went back to his phone log and read to me the detailed notes logged IRT. Actively listening to my plight he heard my desperation of spending 24 plus hours with no heat!!!At that point, we discussed the symptoms of my 30 plus year old furnace and he “fit” me into an alread full schedule where I’d be seen that day between 2 and 5 pm. The technician, Chris, showed and professionally diagnosed and repaired my system about 4 hours after my call.The initial CSR I spoke with, called me later that day as a follow-up. It was then, I learned his name, “Lorenzo”. His communication, active listening, analytical/diagnostic and “plain, but rare, good olde fashioned personal customer, skills. He and the Neblett Construction Company team are truly examples for all others to emulate!!

The company even followed up to ensure everything was working properly. I am very happy with the service I’ve receive from this company. This company is worth considering for your heating and cooling system. Highly Recommended!

I used this company a few months back for restoration of my house after a pretty significant plumbing failure. They worked with my insurance company and pretty much did an entire remodel including paint, floors, kitchen and baths. They worked within my budget and I am extremely happy with the quality of work. I was hoping they would finish early, however they were done exactly when promised. I do recommend!

I contacted the call center and was able to be worked in for a same day appointment. Very thorough and knowledgeable technicians. They were able to diagnose and communicate the science behind the condensation problem. The technicians explained everything and did not try to push me to purchase another unit when mine worked just fine. Instead the technicians advised me on an inexpensive solution which involved allowing the area of condensation to freely drain and removing the light bulb (located directly below) to avoid potential electrical problems. This was a much less expensive solution than replacing the line and entire unit. I realize that I’ll have to purchase another unit at some point. When I decide to buy another unit, I’ll definitely request Neblett construction as they were able to identify some areas of improvement for the future install which will alleviate the condensation issue.
