Jason and Daniel came in and checked out the plumbing issues we had reported. They cleaned out the bathtub drain and used the camera to check the drain from the guest toilet for blockages. They provided great service by keeping us informed as to what they were going to do, their progress, and the results. Jason had some good suggestions on things we could do going forward. Overall, great service!

I had another “company” come out to assess a leak. They charged me $275 and then told me, it’s still leaking we can’t fix it. They told me I needed to get a plumber because “we aren’t plumbers”. They left with my water source to the house shut off and a large hole in my yard.I called S&D Plumbing and they were able to get Noah out to assess and correct what the other company did and “couldn’t fix”. He was very professional and did a great job on the repairs. I ended up signing up for the VIP program. I had called 6 other companies before S&D and they all either cut me off or did not have anything available for weeks. This was to my advantage because I was able to get service from S&D.Even though the price was higher then I was hoping for, my leak is fixed and the water to the house is back on. Thank you!

They worked diligently through the afternoon to get the job completed in one day. Carson the lead installer has his van well organized and fully stocked. No fumbling around looking for tools or parts. No time wasted having to run to the store to get a fitting. They were professional and fun to work with. When Carson and Bobby encountered an unexpected problem they had the knowledge, experience, and supplies to solve the problem. They didn’t have to call someone else and waste half a day getting some else to fix it. These guys care about the quality of their work and customer service.

We called S &D Plumbing at eight oclock in the morning. The call taker was professional and polite. The Plumber arrived at our house at noon. Angel was excellent in his diagnosis and repair of our plumbing issues. In temperatures ranging to 104 degrees, he dug down to our main waterline. He completed multiple tasks there, as well as other areas of our residence. He completed everything by four pm. His plumbing skills are excellent! Based on the service we received, I highly recommend S&D Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

S&D is always our choice for plumbing problems. They always have prompt response and attentive, trustworthy and knowledgeable techs. Most recently Weston from the Buda office helped troubleshoot through a problem with our water pressure. Initial worry was frozen pipes even though we felt we prepared properly. It carried on a couple of days working with our water softener people and the City of Kyle to determine problem was with the check valve at the street, but on our side of the city’s meter. Weston fixed the issue even through occasional heavy rain and further assisted us with resolving additional issues with our water heater that builders had neglected to install properly. As usual, we were satisfied with S&Ds service.

We had a late afternoon plumbing emergency involving what turned out to be a clogged main line. Afraid that we were going to have water flowing from out of our toilet indefinitely, I called S &D. I called S & D when a pipe burst outside my house during the recent hard freeze because they have so many great reviews and they did not disappoint. They were very responsive, called me the day of my appointment to see if it was okay for them to come early, and were completely done with the repair work before my actual slated time. Aurelio and Erik were amazing. They were very informative about what they were seeing and what needed to be done. I know very little about plumbing and they never made me feel like I was asking dumb questions. Pricing was reasonable. I didnt feel like I was being gouged for anything. They were extremely detailed in their testing provide pictures and videos of their inspection so that you have peace of mind about where your sewer lines stand. S&D Plumbing blows their competition completely out of the water. There was a leak in the pipes inside the concrete slab near my water heater and it was spreading water under the floorboards. From the moment I called, I felt like I had their full attention. Their technicians arrived early the next morning and went straight to work. They immediately found the leak, removed the water heater, capped the pipe, and redirected the line. They did it promptly, all while explaining to me what was going on. Before they left, they even swept the floor and performed a free inspection of my water systems. Friendly, professional, on time, efficient, effective... long story short, they did incredible work for a reasonable price. I would definitely work with them again and recommend their services to anyone.

I think they cost a little more than most plumbers but you know you will get a professional person and great work. Love how they send a text and email before technician arrives with his/her name and photo to your phone so you know who you are looking for when they arrive. Also, the kindness & politeness of their employees reminds me of employees at Chic-Fil-A. It is the kind of service you want to take care of your parents (which they do!). Once again S&D came through for me in a timely fashion with excellent service. Jason and Chris did a great job. They are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain what they are doing.When they left everything was cleaned up and in order.I have been using S&D for about 20 years and their service has always been exceptional. It helps me that Jason was able to check my service records and remind me my water heater is overdue to be flushed. I know preventive maintenance is so important, but so easy to forget.Edit: Jason came back the next day to flush the water heater, and to install the Flow Tech device he had recommended to help us de-scale our pipes. We have a regular water softener, but we also knew our pipes had been in place for decades, and only part of that time with a working water softener. Its good to know that theres a solution short of re-plumbing the entire house to deal with the build up that had already happened in our pipes.Jason did a great job and explained everything very clearly to us. And, now were pretty confident we have the most complete solution possible for the hardest water in Texas.

I called S&D because I had an unusually high water bill for the month of Feb. I had no idea where the leak was and needed someone experienced in finding a leak in the main line, since we knew there was no issue in the house. S&D sent Chris and Aurelio to assess the job. They informed me of their plan of action every step of the way. They located the main line and sectioned it off to determine the precise location of the leak. It happened to be in a location that was not reachable due to a structure that was on top of it, so they discussed the best options with me and when we agreed upon a solution, they worked tirelessly into the night to be sure I had water before they left. I commend them on their communication, teamwork, work ethic, honesty, and integrity. I have found my new forever plumbers.

Ryan and Cole arrived on time and explained the process with all costs up front. Theyre a good team. Not only did they break down the clog in my kitchen drain but they educated me on the process as I asked several questions. Im super grateful for their hard work and professionalism. Darius from S&D came to look at our macerator pump, which was alarming and not pumping. He was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about the system, and soon had the issue pegged. We needed to buy a net float switch. He gave us specific detail on what to buy, and helped ensure that hed be on the service call the next day to return to install it. During the install the next day, he not only fixed the system, but performed a full clean out of the pump and collection system and gave us tremendously good advice about keeping the whole system in good working order. Perhaps more impressive than his repair work was his advice. We talked about water softeners and whole-house filters (of which we have neither), and he made rational recommendations that werent just the most expensive one. He answered a TON of questions from me and my wife, and was simply a fun person to work with.In an age where trustworthy trade folks are sometimes tough to find, Darius and S&D were phenomenal to work with, and I wont be calling anyone else.

I can’t praise Esteban enough for his resourcefulness, responsiveness, and really hard work, all to repair my very serious plumbing problem in one day. Even though he encountered one obstacle after another (e.g., pipes made out of an obsolete malleable material that had largely disintegrated over time and that had been pushed out of shape by tree rooots), he got my system back in working order so that I didn’t need to decamp to a hotel for the weekend. First, he and his very helpful apprentice Cameron dug in my yard until they located the part of my sewer line that was obstructed and essentially destroyed by the tree roots; then Esteban cut out this compromised section and replaced it with new pipes & a cleanout—after business hours, in the dark, in the rain, and in the mud! Really quite heroic!

We suspected sediment in the tank may be the cause of a loss of water pressure to shower heads in certain bathrooms. Our water heater is 14 years old, so I was afraid of the worst (replacement time) as that is an expensive fix. He managed to clean out all the residue and deposits on the water heater and stayed to make sure the pilot light stayed on. All in all, took about an hour and a half, and he was gone, coupon applied, and we had hot water again. Once this thing finally kicks the bucket, we will be contacting S & D for replacement.

Great guys. They installed a clean out, flushed our system and told us the major problem we have. They also had a financing option through a 3rd party. But that was perfect for us and was also a blessing. Our whole house was backed up. Couldnt use the washer, wash dishes, take a shower or use the toilet often for a few days. They came right away to diagnose the problem. Came early on a Saturday morning, his day off to come install the clean out. Great service. We are signed up for their membership and will use them for our future needs. Seems pricey but we would rather pay extra for great service and people who make cases like that a priority.

In short, S & D was fast, fair and easy to work with. Within a week, our leak was fixed and everything was like new again. I highly recommend this company.No one wants a leaking pipe in their foundation. We discovered one on Sunday and placed several calls to plumbers. He was very easy to work with and was able to give a quote for repairs and set a date for the repairs while still on site. Great service, great work, at a good price. I had a pipe bust in my front yard. I called S&D Plumbing, and they had a guy (Trent Armstrong), out there in 45 mins. He located the area where the pipe busted. Quoted me a price we could agree on and he went to work. In about a hour he had the damaged pipe excavated, and repaired. Another guy, his boss I think, came out, looked at it and deemed it good work. I had my water back on in one hour.The funny thing was this wasnt my first choice. Ive found each of the employees (Michael, Jason, Kyle) to be personable and professional. I was kept up to date on progress and any changes that were suggested in the work that I had approved. I decided to sign up with S&Ds VIP program and the plumbing inspection that came with it identified a problem I didnt know I had. When that very problem became an urgent issue a few days later, I had a clue about what was going on and could act appropriately until S&D could get out to fix it the following morning. I also appreciate that their invoices are electronic so I dont have to keep track of pieces of paper. Good service and reasonable pricing from this company.

This was my second time using S & D plumbing. This time it was for a toilet replacement and some other updates. Great service and the VIP package is amazing. Jason also did an inspection of my hot water heater (he had to go up into my attic) , checked overall water pressure on things and helped me decide on some things I want to do with a sink and garbage disposal replacement. The icing on the cake was he found my existing kitchen sink faucet handle was loose and he took care of that.. no added cost. The VIP package is around $100 a year. I am not very handy with home repairs so the $100 annual fee for the VIP package was money well spent. Thanks Jason! Superb service and I will be scheduling time in the near future for some more updates in my kitchen!

Put simply, we had 2 tankless hot water heaters that had never been serviced / cleaned and two shower faucets that never got above luke-warm at best . My regular plumber has been out every 4-5 years to clear my kitchen sewer line with the plumbers snake. This time he couldnt get it to clear. He thought I had a busted sewer line. My house is a large 60-year-old single story ranch on a slab foundation with original plumbing. A sewer replacement would require trenching, a job my regular plumber does not do. I was warned the costs could be in the tens of thousands. I needed a video inspection.Based on a recommendation from my regular plumber, I researched S&D and gave them a call to do the video inspection and a repair estimate. For a little extra they will give you a copy of the video. With the potential cost of the replacement, I wanted the video to show when I requested a few other quotes.S&D are a great operation. We went back and forth on the service call date and time, but the office staff kept me informed.The technician, Jess, arrived right on time for the service call. His communication was superb. He updated me as he worked and explained things. It’s small but very nice detail. He put on booties to cover his boots each time he came into the house. After a few attempts to run the line with the camera on the end through the kitchen area sewer, the stoppage cleared. He flushed the line with water. The video showed a few bellies and grease build up, but the line was intact. Jess checked the rest of the sewer line all the way to the city hook up. Everything checked out. What a relief.Jess recommended a hydro jet service to clear out the grease. He gave me quotes for this service, and for a complete replacement of the line. This is the kind of company I like doing business with. I was given an honest and thorough explanation of the situation, what my options are, and the costs.

Our plumbing problem began when we discovered that our shower wasnt draining and water was backing up in our guest bath tub. This happened at 7pm in the evening. We placed a call to S&D after seeing a recommendation for them on our neighborhood Facebook page. Jessie arrived at our home around 9pm and determined within about 20 minutes that our sewer pipe had broken and tree roots were growing in it causing our drainage problems. Jessie cleared the tree roots for an immediate fix and told us he would get us a quote to fix the pipe. We got the quote, compared it with a couple of other companies and decided to have S&D do the work. Jason and Zach arrived yesterday to fix the pipe. They explained exactly what they had to do and how long it would take. At the end of the day they were not finished so they shored up the 7 foot hole and put caution tape all around so that no one would accidentally fall in the hole over night. They arrived this morning to finish their work. They completed it, cleaned the area and asked us to come outside and see how everything looked. They also showed us the broken pipe. I would definately use S&D plumbing again. They are a family run business that wants to please their customers. We had an emergency situation and they were out here very quickly at 9pm at night. Their prices are competitive and their technicians were all friendly and very competent.07/19/18 Kyle and Chris were out at our house early this morning after I texted about a water heater leak last night. 1st I want to say that S & D Plumbing have the best professional trucks. No guessing who is coming down the driveway.We called for a slight gas odor coming from a very old wall heater. No emergency. We cut off the gas and made an appt for the next day. They called me back within an hour saying they had an opening and could they send someone now. I happily said yes. Jess came out to fix our problem. He was very friendly, not just with us but all of the dogs as well. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything as he went. It didnt take long and the problem was resolved. He gave us some really good advice on the other old heaters as well. Thank you Jess!!! I will reccomend yall each and every time.

Excellent same day service. The technician that came over was knowledgeable, courteous, and detail oriented. He assessed the problem and did the repair. Everything works great now. Michael Rios has a great personality and is willing to explain everything he is doing. This makes him above and beyond other plumbing technicians that I have hired in the past. The cost was comparable to other plumbing companies with better results. I am totally satisfied.

2023 Edit: Today, Cobey came out to replace a small water heater for us, with the help of Travis. Again, both guys were friendly, knowledgable, and put up with my constant random questions. They also walked me thru my options, and did a great job of explaining their recommendations. Still 5 Stars, and highly recommended.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Our insurance company recommended S&D to re-pipe our house. As invasive as a re-pipe is, I dont think it could have possibly gone any smoother.Melvin Haddix oversaw the project and installed a tankless water heater and a softener/filter. Garrett Beshears was here every day and led the on-site team. Every tech that came out with them over the month of work was outstanding. And the list probably includes ten different people. Each one was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Each was eager to answer my never-ending daily questions about the process, the tools, the installed materials, and any other random things I thought of along the way, I also appreciated how at the end of each day, Garrett gave me a walk thru of the work that they had done that day.I wont hesitate to give S&D my future business.

Wow! This company is awesome. Great customer service from all the ladies when you call in and their communication is never missed.The plumbers from Jarred, Jason Radford, Trent and Nick were very informative and professional. Jason even vacuumed small insulation particles before he left and they all wore shoe covers.This is the 2nd time I have used S and D and will use them all the time when needed.Thank you for the great customer service and quality of work.
