Had a 20 year old hot water heater that got a pinhole leak in the copper tubing. Valve to cut off the water was frozen shut. Called Capital Plumbing on Sunday for emergency service. Frank answered and told me that he would be here in 45 minutes. He WAS! Put in a new valve and fixed the leak in less than an hour. So impressed we decided to have him install a new water heater. NOT disappointed. Did a great job. Would recommend this company and Frank in particular.

Cant say enough good things about Capital Plumbing. Great office staff who provide great customer service with responsive calls and emails. Frank came out today and installed a whole house water filter. He was on time, got to work, got it done, and left the work site cleaner than he found it. I was very pleased with the price as well. Wish I would have got them to hook up the two sinks in my barn a few months ago instead of one of the other plumbing companies in Tallahassee that charged $1,100 and didnt finish the job. Great job guys!

I reached out to Capital Plumbing for a small leak near the pressure reducer valve in the yard. The lady who answered the phone (cant remember her name) was super nice and set up my appt for first thing the next morning. Levi was the plumber/technician who performed the work. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind and efficient. He was very skilled and took care of the leak in a short period of time while doing an excellent job of replacing the grass with no mess at all. In addition, I felt the price was very fair. I would highly recommend Capital Plumbing!

Excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure a quality job and customer satisfaction. This is the 2nd residence where Ive used Capital Plumbing and the service, responsiveness, and quality of work is consistently 5*. My plumbing was jacked up by the joker who plumbed the showers last, but Justin and his partner were able to shore everything up without opening up the walls. Then he replaced a 16 yr old kitchen faucet. Reasonable labor, no complaints. Definitely recommend!

Our home needed to be completely re-piped due to leaks under the foundation. Not only was Capital Plumbing’s estimate the most reasonable of the three companies we called, their work was exceptional. It took a week for the job to be finished because Hurricane Idalia intervened, but Justin and Z were on the job the day before and the day after. Do not hesitate to call on this company if you need extensive plumbing repairs.

As owner-builders of a fairly large house, we hired Capital Plumbing Contractors, Inc. to perform the rough-in and finish phases of our plumbing construction. We chose Capital Plumbing Contractors, Inc. after considering multiple companies to do the work. We chose Capital Plumbing Contractors, Inc. based on reputation, their proposal of the work to be done, and of course cost. We also were impressed with the owner, Darrell, his knowledge and ease of working with him.The work that was done, both rough-in and finish work was headed by Wiley. The work that Wiley completed was very clean, pretty, and well-organized. Wiley demands perfection from himself and his people. Wiley carefully monitored the work of his people and it was humorous when he made them redo some of the work on a couple of occasions. We have lived in the house for approximately 15 months and have had no issues,

Best experience I’ve had with a business in years. Stefan answered my call over the weekend and was able to give me advice on a leaky water heater. He arranged for the front office to call me first thing Monday am and they were able to schedule a repair in 2 days!!! It so happened Stefan was my technician and my heater was installed promptly. He kept in touch with me the entire time and you could just tell how important customer service was to both him and the office. You can’t teach people how to care. I just had Levi out to repair a leak on some 2.5 copper 25 up in the ceiling and he did a fantastic job!Also recently had Wylie out to repair 25 of 4 cast iron drain with an assortment of various fittings tied in (all above head work) and he knocked it out of the park and kept me fully in the loop throughout the process.I usually deal with Jimmy to schedule the work and he aint half bad either!Great company, great work!

Ive had Capital Plumbing out a couple of times. Once was for a septic service and most recently to repair some leaky sinks.Josh and Moses were thorough and made sure I was happy with the work before they left. Nothing in the plumbing world is cheap, but I felt like the pricing was very fair for two technicians and they were in and out quickly. They were also able to get me on the books quickly, much faster than expected.I wont use anyone else. Its important to find someone you trust and I have.

I would recommend Capital Plumbing to my friends. Helen who answered the phone was professional and courteous. She was able to give me a day when the technicians would arrive. I called on that day to confirm time (I got a 2 hour window), and the technicians arrived on time at the beginning of the window). Josh introduced himself and his helper Moses. Josh found the major issue for my first problem, and corrected it. Joshs knowledge was based on his experience which saved me time & money. He then quickly diagnosed my leak and no more leak. Our tankless hot water heater went out over the weekend and though all the companies we called were sorry we had no hot water, they werent able to remedy the situation for at least three days. I called another well-known plumbing company in Tallahassee to help out and find out why the cold water was mixing with the hot water. They sent 1 plumber out and his suggestion was it would be too difficult to find where the cold water was mixing with the hot water, that we would have to re-pipe the entire house. I asked them to send out a more experience plumber for a 2nd opinion and they did (a 20+ yr. experienced plumber they said). His conclusion was the same. To re-pipe the entire house!!!I called Capital Plumbing and they were busy, but their plumber JIMMY BURGIN was able to come in and find the solution in about 10 minutes and fix it in less than 1 hour! It was a HUGE DIFFERENCE for us in our Invoice and peace of mind knowing we can trust a company out there to do the right thing!We are very thankful for Jimmy and his honesty and Integrity. For us, there is no other Plumbing Company in the Tallahassee area we will be using in the future!

I’ve used this company quite a few times for various issues at different properties. They are the most responsive company I know of and all of their employees have been great. This weekend Chris Clark was able to come out on very short notice to help us with a faucet repair and evaluate the plumbing throughout the property for a turnover. In July my hot water heater started leaking. It had been leaking before, but I live in a mobile home and did not know it was leaking until I heard it hissing. I called Capitol Plumbing because I could not find anyone else open on the weekend. Through pictures that they had me take and send to them they were able to find the right hot water heater. They went out of their way and came right out and fixed it. They also advised me to turn my water off until they got here. Three months later, I had a water leak under my mobile home. I called them again. They are so nice! They sent someone out as soon as they could and fixed the leak (which was really bad and caused by water bill to go up to $80.00). I cried when they left because it was so affordable, and they were so nice!! They do not care if you are living in a house or a mobile home. They just want to help and totally know what they are doing!!!!! Thank you so much Capitol Plumbing for helping an old lady with speed, efficiency, and a ton of kindness!!!

I called and spoke to Liz who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She assured me that they would get us scheduled that day since being without a hot water heater is not an option. Several weeks ago, we had a main water line start leaking a large amount of water. The problem was discovered on a Saturday, and we immediately started the process of trying to locate a plumber. After trying to contact a number of companies, we were fortunate enough to successfully contact Capital Plumbing Contractors, and they scheduled us for service later that day. The plumber, Jim, arrived at the scheduled time and had the leak under control within an hour. He was courteous, professional, and the charge was reasonable. In order to prevent a future leak in the aging galvanized waterline, we again contacted Capital Plumbing. This time to get an estimate to replace the waterline. At the scheduled time, Jim came out and gave us an estimate to do the replacement. We got several estimates, and Capital Plumbing was the low bid. So, yesterday, as scheduled, Tyler, arrived to do the replacement. He , after several hours of hard work, trenched and hand-dug a ditch, and installed the new waterline.. Tyler was also courteous, and professional. I would never say that dealing with the disruption and cost of repairing a leaking main water line was anything less then a pain in the butt, however, Capital Plumbing Contractors made it as easy could be expected.

Kris Calloway and Logan came out to take care of all the work, and they did a great job. I chose Capital Plumbing to service my septic tank based on their Google Reviews. Earl arrived on time, was very professional and answered my questions. I talked to him about my concern about several banana trees that had grown on top of and around the septic tank. I told him I wasnt sure who to call to help me remove the trees. I was concerned that the septic tank could get damaged during the removal of the trees. He said that Capital Plumbing could help with that too. He said he would call the office to get a quote for excavation services, and I got the quote the next day. Amber followed up with me to schedule the appointment, and Wiley Braden And Billy came by this morning and had the work done quickly, and they took care not to damage the yard with the equipment. I am so impressed. Everyone that I have spoken with at Capital Plumbing has been nice, respectful, patient and professional. The work they did was excellent! 2/1/23 - when you purchase an old home, you end up with a lot of plumbing problems. This time it was the kitchen sink pipes leaking. We noticed the leak on a Saturday and we’re scheduled for repairs on Monday. Josh arrived on time, repaired the pipes, and installed a new sink. They are always on time, professional, and reasonable. I’ve been more than satisfied with all the work I’ve had done with Capital Plumbing and can’t recommend them enough.1/22/2021 - Late Sunday night my toilets started backing up and I called the emergency line. The individual I spoke with was straightforward about the costs just to have a tech come out after hours and provided me with helpful suggestions to shut everything off until the morning. Justin was there the next morning, before the time I was scheduled, and worked hard to snake the pipes. His efforts determined that the pipes were collapsed in multiple places (perks of an old home 🥴) and he offered options and provided his professional opinion on how to proceed. He then got everything scheduled and Wednesday morning a crew was here to replace the sewer line. While they were there, they also replaced the water line. There’s no way around a mess when excavating a front yard, but they did a great job at containing it and cleaning up. Yesterday 8/4/22 we had a pipe replaced in the attic, the technician that came out seemed to be a little frustrated upon arrival. The service was completed but the customer service was lacking. Today 8/5/22, the septic crew came out and they were exceptional. Logan and Leonard were professional, extremely nice, and customer service was outstanding. If I were to have based my review on yesterday’s service, it would’ve been a two stars. After todays encounter with Logan and Leonard, it’s a five star. Im not sure there is enough space to properly tell you how good this company is. They do what they say they are going to do when they say they will do it, and they keep you well informed throughout the process. I had a slab leak in my 68 year old house with brick interior walls. Mr. Darrell Jones came out on a Friday walked through the house with me explaining what needed to be done. Said he would call the City to come identify gas lines, etc., because even if i didnt use his company, I would still need to have it done! And he actually did it because the City showed up Monday morning! Mr. Jones called to say hed been thinking about it over the weekend and wanted to come back out, walk through and give me an estimate. On Wednesday his crew showed up and worked 2.5 days getting my house re-piped in the most tasteful way possible (if tasteful is a thing you can apply to plumping!). They minimized damage to walls, etc., in every way that is possible with structural masonry construction. Jerry is meticulous, professional and incredibly hardworking and did an amazing job cleaning up after they were finished. Justin and Travis spent a whole day in the attic and Justin was especially creative in his handling of the kitchen plumbing. There was a whole crew here the first day because of the extensive digging and they were all friendly and professional (I wish I knew everyones name who was here so I could give a shout-out to them!) Ive been in Tallahassee since 1979 and have used so many plumbers I cant remember them all. Capital Plumbing Contractors is my ONLY plumbing company from now on. I even told Mr. Jones that Capital Plumbing can give out my phone number if anyone wants to call me for a more detailed reference!

Im the manager at Ur Bowl, our bathroom was clogged over the weekend and I tried to unclog it myself. However, after many attempts I failed to unclog it. I even rented the drain machine, one of those heavy duty ones. However, the snake snapped half way while retrieving it. At that moment I tried telling myself this isnt a big deal. It turned out after researching around google I knew I wouldnt be able to handle this by myself. So I decided to give Capital Plumbing a try because they promised they would be able to be at the job site around 2:30pm same day. Surprisingly, they were able to get here around 1:00pm and attempted retrieving the broken snake. It took the technician roughly 15min to get it out of the pipe and I was very delighted. However, the pipe was still clogged so he tried to unclog it. Long story short, due to the building being over 30 years old the underground system was a bit different compared to others. So they had to call it a day and told me they would be back tomorrow. Next morning Darrell the owner personally called me and told me he would handle this project personally and arrived at the store 2 hours before we opened. He walked around the building asked few questions and found the solution to my problem. Apparently there was another so called sewer clean out that was closed off by the previous tenant. After we located the correct clean out hole they opened the drain within 30mins. After the long weekend I had with the clogged bathroom, Im very happy that I gave them a call.

I cannot even explain how wonderful this company is. From the moment I called until the end of service, their customer service has blown me away. The receptionist was really nice when I called and when she didnt know all the answers to my questions she told me she would have someone give me a call back. Within 2 minutes, Darrell (the owner) called me back and was able to answer my questions. He went out of his way to personally come to my home and look at my tankless water heater. He ended up having to order one and instead of leaving us without a water heater, he sent Stefan out to install a temporary one. Stefan was wonderful and worked hard to install it, even with our homes electrical issues, he figured out how to make it work. Darrell and his assistant installed our new heater and it looks professional and they left our garage spotless. Youd never know they were here drilling holes, etc! My heart could burst at how amazing they have been to us. When I thanked Darrell for setting us up with a temporary heater, his response was Id never leave you in a way I wouldnt leave myself and I couldnt go without hot water.
