I had a plumbing issue that was throwing an E02 error on the dishwasher (making it useless). After washing dishes by hands for 3 weeks, I couldn’t do it anymore and got in touch with Roto-Rooter. They listened to the issue, noted down details, and sent a plumber over for me within 20 mins. Sal was the plumber I was lucky enough to have, and he quickly identified and confirmed the issue: my dishwasher was hooked to the cold water pipe (which was incorrectly done). He also paid attention to the water filtration system I had under the sink, which was installed correctly but it was pulling from the cold water pipe which decreased my kitchen sink’s cold water pressure to nothing. Sal knew exactly which parts were needed, went to gather the parts, and returned to fix the many issues here within 30 mins. It was like magic! He neatly cleaned up the workspace and walked me through all the work that was done. I wished I had called for help sooner, knowing how painless and pleasant the experience was. Thank you so much, Sal, for your time and wonderful help! I love my kitchen now that the sink and dishwasher are working as they should be.They charge a little more than other plumbers, but you really get what you pay for. If you have an issue and don’t want to worry about it over and over, they are the right help. Top notch support, top notch parts, top notch work. I also love that Roto-Rooter has a one year warranty so if anything happens, they’ll come back free of charge to address it.

Called roto rooter after calling another service. The other company showed up 5hrs after promise time . Then they charged me $300 for coming out and did no work because it was to late and and the next day was labour day. Called roto rooter they came 8am. The plumber Miguel assessed the problem quickly and was able to make repairs to 2 bathrooms in 2hrs, that left the rest of the day free for me. Plus the estimate is free. I should have called them in the first place I would have save time and money.

Ahmed came down and cleaned out a bunch of grease that had clogged my main almost solid. And the 4 inches of rain in 20 minutes didnt help matters at all. Clean and professional service, came right away at nearly 930 at night. Clearly explained what the problem was, what the fix was, and even pointed out some other issues I didnt even know I had. Would most certainly call again. 10/10

I would give Roto Rooter a 3.75 rating out of 5.Here’s why:They showed up when they promised.That matters.This complicated job was done in one day -and so far, no leaks.That also matters.So why the 3.75 rating?Expensive!Hold onto your wallet.For removing & resetting my toilet, replacing the toilet trap and hooking up all surrounding piping from tub, sink drain to the stack - they charged $5,500 for labor and the balance $2,901.89 for all parts, mostly pvc.(His original part estimate: $1,500 to $2,200)Total hit: $8,401.89While plumber Miguel, tried to minimize dust & debris - he really needed a second person to assist him. I ended up being “sweeper in chief”. The substantial demo work now needed to repair my kitchen soffits, not included. While he placed debris in plastic bags, the plastic bags were not taken away and there is dust everywhere.A good plumbing job lasts.We’ll see how this one holds-up.Miguel was a professional and a nice guy to work with.I was told I have a 1 year warranty however I couldn’t find it noted anywhere on Roto Rooter’s receipt.Wish me luck! 💦👍

They were so professional, calm, reassuring, that goes a long way for people who never faced a disaster like this before. First I was amazed at how quickly the plumbing situation was resolved, but then 8 a.m. the next day, the crew shows up to cleans and disinfect this colossal mess. set up fans, dehumidifiers, and came back daily to check our readings for mold, bacteria, etc. Could not have been in better hands. My necklace broke this morning and fell in the toilet, but since I had just woken up I didnt realize what the clink sound was and flushed the toilet. About 10 minutes later the chain fell out and hit my foot and I realized what had happened. I went online looking for how to diy get something back from the toilet and then after I realized I couldnt diy I googled for who could get it for me. I found Roto Rooter and a video of them saving an engagement ring from 1989. Since theyve been saving jewelry for over 25 years I figured they knew what they were doing and I called them up and they told me not to use any water, and that they were calling dispatch and putting an emergency note on my call. About an hour and a half later the very friendly technician- Junior (tech# 5455) -rang my doorbell and told me that while he could open up the sewer trap and look around for it, that there were no guarantees that he would be able to find it. So I said please look and see, I need to take the chance. He went into my basement, opened up the trap and stuck his arm into a pipe where most people wouldnt dare, and within 2 minutes he pulled out the charm. This thing is about the size of a nickel and HE SAVED IT FOR ME!!! I am so grateful to Junior for finding it and thankful to Roto Rooter for sending me the right man for the job. Great, kind, knowledgeable, and quick phone customer service by Talia this morning as well. Thank you for the wonderful Roto Rooter customer experience, 10/10 will call again.

He was very direct and forthright in his explanation of what was going on and how we could solve it. We received a quote, and then he got to work. There are still more things to be done, but for this particular problem Sal at Roto Rooters handled it well. What we really appreciated was that he took the time to explain what was happening and how we needed to go about solving the issues in front of us. Thanks. Alex, the plumber who took care of my shower, was courteous and very knowledgeable, and even though my shower is a high-tech Euro model he diagnosed the problem, went to a plumbing supply place and found the parts, and had the system up and running again — all in the space of less than two hours. It wasn’t cheap, but this was the kind of specialty service that can be hard to find. Great work!

I had called to let them know the technician (a different one than John) had never confirmed and they very quickly worked to reschedule around our schedule. This is the second time I used the services of RR and had a fantastic experience. Leon and his remediation team came to the rescue for me at 2 different properties on 2 different disasters this year. Walter and Nick came to my apartment on Monday and tried their very best to unclog a shower drain which not only affected my bathroom, but my neighbors as well (its a coop). Had a leak from my toilet base. Made a call to Roto Rooter and in less then 2 hours they responded. They very quickly diagnosed where and what the problem was, and what had to be done to fix the situation. They gave me a price quote which I thought was fare, as well as when they would come back to fix the problem. They came back as they said they would. They finished the job faster then I expected. They were very neat, no mess. It took me a couple of minutes to clean up the two rooms that they had to work in to fix the problem. If I have any more plumbing problems or work that has to be done the first phone call I will make is to Rooto Rooter.

Young man was very professional. We were expecting to have the service on Monday but was able to get it on Saturday evening. This was a great since I was able to have the service done without me having to rearrange my schedule. That was a plus for me. Very happy with the service.

Walter, technician #4303, provided excellent service in a timely manner. My shower and bathtub drains were completely backed up and Walter was able to snake and clear the drains in under 10 minutes. He was professional and explained everything he was doing as he worked and why he was doing it. He then explained how to prevent future issues from occurring. Thank you Walter and Roto-Rooter.

John (260) and Walter (4303) did a great job working through our clogged kitchen sink which needed all the pipes replaced and major snaking and cleaning. They were honest, courteous and provided us with reasonable expectations of what might be the outcome. John returned promptly as promised since this was a 2 day job that he spent hours working on and with the help of Walter on the next day, they both worked extremely well together with determining and solving the issue and made sure the problem was completely solved before leaving on New Years Eve! This was a great end to a crazy year for us as both John & Walter solved the problem that seemed to be never ending! We recommend both as they are professional, honest and hard working. They kept working until the issue was resolved. They also replaced our flimsy pipes with sturdy, strong pipes that will last. Thanks so much for a great job!
