These guys are pros. They came out and looked at our drain line in the backyard and came back a week later and totally cleaned out our seriously clogged pipes, found a bunch of jammed items and a broken pipe quickly. Even came back that day after having a hard time getting a plastic toy jammed in the drain and made sure they got it out. Super communicative, fair pricing and really efficient. 100% recommend.

This is the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. I rarely write reviews, but was so taken by Island Sewage that I felt it important to share my experience. My neighbor recommended them with high praise. They came out immediately and were very kind, clean and considerate. They went above and beyond to make sure my problem was taken care of in a timely and respectful manner. They were extremely fair priced and professional. After the job, the owner called to make sure I was pleased with the service. He spoke with me for a while to give me some suggestions to move forward with some sewage work I needed to approach the city about. I have renovated 10 houses over the past 30 years and have dealt with numerous plumbers (and had numerous frustrations). I only wish I would have found this company years ago. I cannot speak highly enough about their work, character and dedication. I am so grateful to have found them.

Thankful for Island Sewers and their professionalism and knowledge. They answered our emergency call very quickly and Alex the technician arrived at our home within an hour to assess the issues with our plumbing in the home. He walked me through what he would be doing and showed the before and after (even stayed to ensure there were no leaks when running our appliances). I called Island Sewers at 9:15 on a Monday night and explained to them that my shower drain was not draining correctly. For weeks I was trying to fix it myself. I bought a snake, an air snake, a shop vac and more to try and just get it done myself. If anything, all I did was make the clog worse. We had dropped a shampoo cap down the drain past the trap. When I called, I thought they’d have someone to the house in a day or two. They arrived in less than 20 min and had the issue fixed within another 15-20. It took me weeks to try and fix a problem that they fixed in minutes. Top notch service and top notch quality. I would highly, highly recommend.

Excellent, prompt, professional and very honest. I called Manny and he was able to get to me within 15 minutes of my call. Manny sent the camera in and found no problems in the outside pipes as I was told I had by another plumber. Then he used the jets to clean out the sewer pipe in my house and ran the camera there and figured out what the problem was. If it wasn’t for Manny my whole driveway would be ripped up in and in a shambles doing very expensive unnecessary work. I highly recommend this company. They will not disappoint!!

The toilet in my son’s bathroom was never being used for the past 15 years or so. We had given up after snaking it so many times , even had changed the toilets into super flushing types with suctions but nothing helped. water kept bubbling and would go down very slowly without taking refuse with it.When I finally contacted ISLAND SEWERS ( for another job which we were 100% satisfied with) I remembered my sons toilet issue and told them about it.After snaking and checking for blockage they wouldn’t just stop there like other plumbing companies did telling me nothing is wrong. But they tried to detect the real problem. And they realized the toilet needed to be vented up to the roof.They spent long hours and didn’t leave until a new vent was installed.In addition to that their job is super clean , neat, they left the place spotless .

Weve had several plumbing issues, big and small, in our 100+ year old house. We first called Island Sewers with a big job--using a camera to see into our pipes and verify that tree roots were the problem then clear them out. Great service. When we thought we had a simple clogged basement toilet, we called 2 other plumbers. They didnt fix the problem...not even close. Finally called Island Sewers. Manny stands by his work. He and his guy just worked a few minutes and called me. I thought they had a question. They were done! Worth every penny to really fix our basement drain issue. Not a band-aid solution like the other plumbers. Their name may not say plumber, but I will not be calling any other plumber ever again. Only Island Sewer. Took me 13 years to find a reliable plumber on Staten Island. FINALLY got one.

Island Sewers saved the day! After another company helped to flood my apartment, their name rhymes with Scoto Scooters, Island Sewers resolved my plumbing problem. I live in an older building and Island Sewers were extremely knowledgable, they showed up quickly, after I called in a panic, went about efficiently and effectively fixing the problem, and triple checked their work. After the plumbers left, their manager called to double check that I understood the problem, how it was fixed and what I could expect from their company in the future if another problem were to arise. No empty promises, no BS. I havent had a problem since, despite very heavy rains, but if I did I would not hesitate to call them. Professional, prompt and very communicative company. I usually never write reviews but I had such a great amazing experience with this company. I had a piece of metal stuck in my sewer trap and both roto rooter and powerflow both wanted to completely rip out my sewer and charge me $5000 -$7000 to do this. I called Island sewer and manny immediately told me that he could take it out with some jetting and a cutter for $850. At first i was skeptical but I figured I had to at least give him a chance. And he absolutely was able to remove the metal within 30minutes. The crew was amazing nice and professional. The best plumbing experience I have ever had.

Called and left a message and shortly I was called back by a dispatcher. Their sewer main cleaning price was the most affordable out of all the options I checked. Within an hour two man crew came over and solved the problem within 15 minutes. They were very nice and professional, explained all aspects of my problem (roots).One of the reviews is mentioning that they are using inadequate tools but I believe this needs to be clarified. This company is using a continuous cable machine which is using typically a thinner cable than sectional cable machine but is perfectly suited for cleaning 4 sewer line. Sectional cables may look more impressive due to larger diameter but there is little advantage from such as when the cable is going through the pipe its rotational movement is causing the end attachment to twist along the inside walls of the pipe. In other words conceptually its the same although no matter which type of the spiral is used some roots may be simply too big to be cut with the serrated blade attachment.To sum up, I am satisfied with the service and the price. I would recommend this company and certainly would use them in the future if needed.

Excellent service, very professional and competent. 2 very friendly, polite, courteous, respectful gentlemen showed up on time, with the appropriate tools and spent as much time as was necessary to do the job PROPERLY. They explained every step, patiently answered all of my questions, did the job and proved it with a camera. I watched every step of the way and saw the high pressure water removing the root bundles in the pipe. They charged a very fair price - MUCH less than RotoRooter wanted for the same job. I also appreciated the fact that they were Americans who spoke clear English as opposed to the mumbling, incompetent foreigners that were here yesterday from RR and accomplished NOTHING because their machines were not up to the task. I called these guys (among others) when I realized that after the rains weve recently had, that my basement had some water. This is not an unusual occurrence to happen as I live in an older home with a high water table. Manny came quick fast. It was like no sooner than I hung up the phone he was there. He pumped the water out of my basement, I had him clean out my sewer line all for a very reasonable combined price.He was also helpful with making recommendations on a replacement pump. Was in a pinch and had a plumbing emergency late in the evening. My sewer backed up into the basement (EVERY drain in the house was instead flowing out of my basement toilet - not fun). Manny and his team got in touch right away, and had great communication from the start. Listened carefully to the issue, and was able to give me a quick diagnosis and ETA during our initial call. Excellent service and professional team. Island Sewers were the only company to return my call and come give me an estimate. The cap on my dry well was made of plywood and had finally rotted all the way throuh and the dirt above all fell into the dry well. Scheduled the job and they arrived at the time they said . They dug out all the dirt that had fallen into the dry well, put in a new cap that will probably last forever, backfilled the dirt on top and cleaned up very well. I will definitely being doing business with them in the future.

Pluming problems are not something anyone like to have. Sewers are the worse problem in the pluming realm. So when water and muck are backing up in to your house you want it fixed fast as you can. Not having a goto plumber is a problem i went to Island sewers and they came here on a sunday and were great. They worked hard and fast to clean the problem using all the tools in a plumbers case. My problem was worse than i expected and much bigger than any one could have expected. The work they did was great. They are now in my speed dial to fix my next small or big problem.

These guys are real professionals! I didnt know what to do when the sewer was backing up into my basement bathroom. I bought the house less than 2 years ago, and we could not locate the house trap. The Island Sewers people has the right equipment; they used a video equipment to locate the trap behind the wall. The job turned out much bigger than I anticipated because we needed to break the wall, but the Island Sewer guys were both fast and neat. They didnt leave any mess, and they also helped me patch up the wall. Another thing I liked about them was that their manager explained what needed to be done very clearly, and was willing to work with me to solve the problem and get the work done right within my budget. They were polite, and really wanted to help. I really appreciated that.

He was there in 25 minutes.Hani, the plumber who came to fix the problem also told me that price would depend on the amount of work he had to do to fix the problem. The guys who promised the low price would not confirm their price was for any type of drain clog.He came over and had to work for some time to clear the main. We agreed on a fair price. When my brother came home he did not know that there was a back up. Hani cleaned the work area where he was cleaning out the drain.I reccommend him very highly.
