My new gas water heater install was incredibly smooth + professional + efficient, with River City Plumbings journeyman plumber, Tim, and his apprentice, Wes, providing an overall amazing result. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness in configuring the system to my non-standard home layout, and how they offered a range of configurations for me to choose from given my non-standard layout.Not only is the system a major improvement to my former tank water heater in terms of heating capability and energy efficiency, its also a major upgrade in terms of aesthetics -- see attached photo that speaks for itself. All said, Tim and Wes are major assets to the company.The installation supervisor, Jeff M., visited on multiple occassions to see how things were going, answered any questions I had, provided a detailed rundown of how the system operates, verified that the unit had the warranty successfully registered, and ensured that the install obtained final permit approval from the city. Initially, I didnt expect such a high level of service and guidance as this, but I was immensely grateful for it -- especially with regard to the permitting aspect, which apparently isnt common with other plumbing companies in the area.As an aside, during the inspection of my new unit, the city permitting official made an unprompted comment, stating that River City Plumbing consistently has amongst the cleanest and most thorough installs that he sees around town. Very high praise indeed!In short, Im super happy with the end result, and would easily recommend River City Plumbing to anyone in the area.

Jeff and the team at River City Plumbing are top drawer. We recently had a leak in a refrigerator line under the slab of our home, and they beat the remediation team here to assess and get us on the road to repair. Multiple options were possible, but the most efficient offered up front. Within 96 hours of calling, all repairs to restore water service restored to our home were completed. Once done, they cleaned up down to the dustpan.In the process, my wife had questions and Jeff was always there to answer her call and give her solid feedback.We can’t thank the crew at River City plumbing enough.

We had a catastrophic water leak when my sprinkler main valve failed and left me without water to our house. I was winterizing the system, and things did not go as planned. I immediately called River City Plumbing, and they came out to assess the problem within a half an hour late in the day. The following day they came out and dug up the valve, and we were able to get the water flowing to the house again over the weekend. Luckily, we didn’t have to get a hotel. Mike Bass, the manager, thoroughly explained my options to repair the problem. I opted to get the main water line replaced from the street to the house using the trench less method as I like things done right. They came out the following week in freezing cold weather to complete the job. My personal opinion is water is the most important part of a functioning household, especially with a family. I don’t want to deal with not having water going to the house ever again, or have water damage to our house! I am sure there are more inexpensive companies out there, but you get what you pay for. River City does very high end work, and I want the best when it comes to our plumbing system. They don’t cut corners. Eric, the underground pipe fitter, is top notch. He has a great attitude and knows what he is doing. I would go as far to say that their skill in their craft is like artwork. Just look at the pictures. I could see the pride in the finished product. I highly recommend them, and the twenty year warranty is the cherry on top.

RCP to the rescue! Our hot water heater finally took its last breath on Saturday and Mike and his squad were at our house Monday morning at 8am sharp. Their communication and professionalism are unmatched and the service was incredible. We chose a tankless water heater to add some value to our home and while its a big purchase, Mike made in much more palatable with his explanation of the service and timeliness during a stressful time. Oh and they completed the job in one day. You get what you pay for people. Look at this work! Thanks RCP.

We had a leak under our sink and RCP came out to see what was going on with it! They were early to the free estimate appointment and were thorough and even showed me where the leak was coming from. They booked our appointment to get the leak fixed for less than a week later. They arrived early to that appointment as well! They cleaned up after and were so quick and quiet even with drilling and such. Glad to have the leak fixed and everything working as normal again. Thank you RCP!

Josh Gerber was our plumber tech and he was absolutely amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable, and didnt mind answering any of our questions. The job was originally just a garbage disposal install but our pipes ended leaking from the wall! Josh was awesome and stayed to fix the new issues as well. I love that the company is family owned and is also part of the union! Were definitely calling them back for any future plumbing issues!

Mike was great. He came over the very next day after calling while other contractors couldnt make it. They showed up on time for our appointment. I didnt have to wait at all. I had a leak above the water heater. It turned out to be the tub. Hes a great plumber. If you need a Plumber in Reno I highly recommend River City. Great service.

Called several times but no response.After searching on Google we found good reviews about River City Plumbing, Reno NV so we called River City Plumbing and schedule appointment on over convenient time.Phillip Smith from River City Plumbing came on time.He is so cooperative, nice and explained what we should do to get job done in cheapest way and will work 100%. His suggestions were to save money but at the same time job done with no issue. He finished job very professional way.I definitely recommend my all friends to ask for Phillip from River City Plumbing when they need help for plumbing.Excellent service with lowest cost from ALL quotes I got.Now I can relax and enjoy time with family.

After 16 years on the same water heater, we finally needed an update. We called many companies and River City Plumbing came back with the most fair quote for a new tank, recirculating pump, and labor. Upon removing the old tank, Mike and his team discovered some significant water damage and mold to the platform that the tank sits on. They were able to put the water heater on an extension that allowed us to have hot water for the week that the mold problem was cleaned and River City also subcontracted with a construction company that fixed all the drywall and rebuilt the platform. Throughout the entire process, Mike was professional, friendly, available to my constant questions and texts, and he even reached out a week after the work was done to make sure we were happy with everything. We were very happy overall with River City Plumbing and Mike. Thank you for everything!

I contacted River City Plumbing to investigate possible under ground natural gas leaks for my customer at Union Pacific Railroad. They came out to the site to get an idea of what needed to be done. When work was scheduled, they came out on time and performed all work that was requested. They have a great crew and had all the manpower and equipment that the task required. They are a great company and I would recommend them to anybody from small jobs to the large project they did for me!

We had a plumbing emergency when our toilet clogged late one night. We called 10+ plumbers first thing in the morning and no one could fit us in before 5 PM (if at all)--until we got ahold of River City Plumbing. They called around to the techs, and got Phil to squeeze us in between jobs since he was on our side of town.Phil was awesome! He was communicative before arriving and once working, he explained everything he did and why. Unfortunately, it ended up being a bigger issue than expected. Since he had squeezed us in between jobs, he came back first thing the next morning. He was prompt and updated us along the way with very clear and understandable explanations. He also made recommendations that saved us time, money, and stress. Phil eased our plumbing worries and didnt leave until we felt comfortable with the situation and information for the future.BONUS! He noticed our bathroom sink was draining slowly and told us he cleared it before leaving. Highly recommend!

I have been working on getting natural gas hooked up to my mobile home. The folks at NV Energy on Ohm st. have been very helpful. I needed a pressure and manometer test and I was referred to Mike Bass at RCP. He in turn set me up by e-mail with Douglas. I especially want to thank Jeff, He called and found out just what NVE wanted and arranged with the City inspector often having to work it in his schedule, but we got it done and I now have Natural Gas!!These folks know what it means to an individual to receive excellent Customer Service!!!Thank You!!

The team at River City Plumbing was fantastic to work with on replacing our 75 gallon tank with a tankless water heater. We were having trouble with our old one and with the help of Evan, Jeff and Jeff they recommended replacing the unit. They removed the old one, installed the new tankless one, and put us back in business with reliable hot water! They were on time, courteous, and kept the work area clean. Unfortunately no one was available on such short notice, so I did shut off the water and did the repair myself. I had a broken water main. Had several quotes. River City was actually a little higher, but I liked the rep they sent out, and what he had to say. They were going to replace my main with a technique they call pulling, which meant no trenching. On a Thursday they send two men out. They worked for a couple hours and left. Telling me the work will be delayed. The cable they use to pull the new line had broken, and they had no spare. The next Tuesday a new crew showed up. It was decided that pulling the new cable would not work. It appeared that mid stream, someone had installed a T valve. So they cut my patio, and trenched. They did a great job and replaced my water main with a poly line. These guys were efficiently fast, courteous, and did a great job. They came back a few days later and did the concrete work to replace the concrete that they had to remover to run the line. There was an added cost because of the trenching and patio repair. I was not thrilled about that. However, there is no question that I would use them again if I need a plumber.
