They’ll fix it. That’s all anyone wants when it comes to these problems, and they can do it! Hire them, you won’t regret it! I called 6 different companies and Gibson was the only one that would even take a look at the problem. As it turns out, my problem was very minor and required barely any time and effort, but if it had been major, I believe Gibson would have handled that just as joyfully. All that calling around and it turns out my pipe was turned off at the valve. Now why couldn’t any other company have helped? They could have but they weren’t willing to accept the chance of any extra work. Gibson didn’t shy away from that chance. They’ll get my business in the future -which I’ve been told might not be for 10-20 years to come. Thanks to Gibson!

This company was AMAZING. We called them after a different company messed up our furnace and left us without heat for 5 days while denying responsibility. When I called Gibson, Cambria answered the phone and was beyond kind. I was in tears about the situation and she was patient and understanding. She worked with one of the owners to slide us into their slammed schedule the same day. They were responsive to both me and my husband in getting info beforehand so we could streamline the process. Zach Gibson himself came out on his way home to help us and fixed what the other company did. I cant recommend these guys enough!

Good service on short notice. We have used Gibson Plumbing for over 15 years and have always been happy w their work. We did have an issue involving pricing of an automatic shutoff valve. When we asked how much it would be the estimate was $5,500 - 7,000! We cancelled the order. The tech should have given us a heads up on the high cost rather than waiting for us to ask.

Rosa was a tremendous help immediately when I call. So very helpful. She was completely transparent about pricing for the simple job I needed help with. She was able to work me in the same day I called, which was amazing! The tech that arrived gave me plenty of notice so I could get across town - no 1-3 hour window - also amazing! He was courteous, polite, professional and was in and out in no time. Job done. Ive never had a relationship with a plumbing company - now I do, and Im so thrilled its Gibson. Cary installed hydronic heating and plumbing in our house 19 years ago. I have had him repair my hydronic, plumbing and gas grill gas problems throughout the years. He is THE BEST. He is dependable and has been able to fix my problems the first time out and doesn’t have a huge time window where you have to be home to receive the service. We haves used Gibson Plumbing for the last 20 years or so. They have always been the BEST ! But most recently we had the most incredible service so far.We discovered a fairly serious plumbing problem is the downstairs bathroom. It was already 1 in the afternoon when I called the office. Gibson said they would do the best they could to get someone out that same day. That just didnt work out, but they said that someone would be there at 8am in the morning.At 7:55am Liz B. knocked on the door and was ready to go to work. Two hours later everything was completely fixed and Cleaned Up. Liz was Totally Professional to the maximum. Just had them install a Mitsubishi hyper heat and air handler system to tie into our ductwork, replacing our old oil furnace. Zach came and did the estimate and calcs and Kip did the install. Jim P. later told me that Zach demonstrated a solid knowledge of the system, saying he (Jim) learned a lot about my geothermal system during Zachs visit. Gibson Plumbings is located in Reno, while I live in Gardnerville, NV. , but I know they are the best-in-the-region experts of geothermal plumbing systems and I never hesitate to call them in when needed.

10-26-23 I replaced the faucet fixture in the MSTR bath this morning. I re-installed the flex hoses to the fixture and was setting the sink back into its hole when the hot water flex broke off. Hmmph! (its an old house) I then noticed some water was still coming from the end of the snapped off hose so I tried to tighten the shut-off valve more. It wasnt co-operating. Being 71 with health conditions I decided to call [a number of] local plumbers. Everyone was too busy or short handed to help, and available ETAs ran from 2 days (at overtime fees only) to 2 weeks out. WOW! Not gonna work for me... Running down the list I called Gibson Plumbing and spoke with Cambria. From the very beginning (to the end) everyone was so pleasant and considerate! (so awesome and welcome in this day n age) Liz came out about 2 hours later and she really knew her stuff. I was super impressed with her friendliness, her expertise and her attention to detail (that others in more of a rush to get in and get out would NOT have done or checked for!) As a retired engineer, I commented that shed make a great engineer because of how she is as a person AND how she practices her trade. Very warm personality, respectful and conscientious. If she were looking for a job and if I had a business, I wouldnt hesitate to hire her. She is a great asset to Gibson, for sure!

They did a good job, were great about explaining the new system and answering all our questions (both when giving the estimate and during installation) and the AC works well. And I love the new smart thermostat - very easy to use with lots of options. A couple odd things:1. As is normal these days, we had to wait 6 weeks for the A/C unit to arrive (we didnt want just a standard AC). Gibson was supposed to schedule the appointment after the unit arrived, but instead they just showed up one morning. I was out of town but my luckily my housemate was home and able to stay home for the 2 days before I got back.2. I had wanted the return air duct enlarged and wanted to use a larger static filter after another company had taken static pressure readings to find that its insufficiently sized especially for the later static filter. I cant recall the exact conversation, but oddly Gibson wouldnt do that work. Also, it seems taking the static pressure readings would be a normal part of working on my 30 year old system but they didnt do that.Those things certainly arent show stoppers. Id recommend Gibson to friends.

They designed a system to deal with the different temperature requirements for the radiant and base board heating, which includes multiple circulators, mixing valve and hydro separator.
