Our water heater went out unexpectedly on a weekend… and after a few calls and searching reviews, we went with Austin. So glad we did and he was able to fit us in quickly. Excellent customer service. He was professional, timely, knowledgeable, and understanding. He explained why our water heater went out and shared options/solutions. We needed a new water heater, but good news… he did a great job and we were back into hot water in no time! Definitely keeping him as a contact for any future plumbing needs (in fact - already reached out to him on a separate request tonight - received a quick & courteous response). Thanks Austin!

If I can give Austin more stars, I would! I contacted Austin and he was able to come right away to help me fixed my problem with my sump pump. We ended up having to replace my sump pump. He was very knowledgeable and communicative. The best of all, with the service he provided, the price is VERY reasonable. I definitely will use him again!

After being on vacation for a week, I came home to water leaking down my wall. After a friends recommendation, I gave Austin a call at Lou’s plumbing. After opening up the wall, he found that we had a slow leak for many years and it caused black mold as a result of saturated wood. Within minutes, he had somebody over to test it and help seal it. Austin is great to work with. A very nice and honest guy and you can tell he’s not trying to upsell you but truly wants to help solve your plumbing problems. He even helped document everything and spoke with my homeowners insurance to see if they would help cover some of the cost. I would definitely recommend him hands-down!!

Austin goes above and beyond to help his customers and make sure that they are satisfied with his services. Not only did he fix the issue quickly and effectively, he looked over the plumbing and pipes in my old house to let me know if there were any issues. He wasn’t trying to find problems for my business, he genuinely spotted a pipe that may cause an issue in the future and let me know to keep an eye on it.

I found a pinhole leak in a main waterline pipe inside the basement wall. I made a few calls and everyone was booked for atleast 3 or 4 days out. Due to this being a main waterline I needed it repaired fairly quickly as the only way to stop the leak is to shut the water off to the house. Austin commented on a post I had made and I reached out to him. He was able to come the very next day and get me taken care of. He was super informative and explained everything he was doing. He was able to repair the pipe, along with some other joints that started to drip as well. He also gave me a reccomndation for a company to come and check for mold and repair the drywall. I am thoroughly impressed with his work and his communication. I would recommend him to anyone and would totally use him again.

For anyone needing plumbing services call Lous. I can not say enough good things about this company. When he arrived for our appointment, he was friendly, courteous and listened as I explained my particular plumbing problem. It seems I had an unknown water leak. He checked all the water pipes in and under (I live in a mobile home) my house for a leak. When he didnt find one, he acted as liaison between me and my water supplier giving up much of his own personal time. In my opinion Lous is not only a very professional company but also a very caring company. They strive to be reliable, honest and thorough in fixing whatever plumbing problem you may have. They are transparent in their work and care about you as a customer. I highly recommend Lous for all your plumbing needs.

I have had nothing but an awesome experience with Austin at Lous Plumbing. We had an issue with a faulty part on a filtration system that Austin had put in for us. This happened on a Friday after hours. I called Austin and told him what was going on, he made sure I knew how to turn the water off for the system and then said Im on my way. He came right over and quickly identified where the issue was and the replacement part needed in the filter. He kept me updated throughout the weekend on progress getting the new part as well as making sure we werent running into anymore issues with our filter in the meantime. He was there to install the new part right away Monday. Austin definitely goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Lous came by after we had a clogged drain in the kitchen. Our in-home handyman efforts came up just shy, so Austin came over ready to help. Not only was he punctual, cordial, and professional, but he was an expert, explaining everything about our homes plumbing and even provided me tips for future plumbing concerns. The drain was fixed, he slapped a nice warranty on his work, and was fair with his pricing. I dont want to say I cant wait to use Lous again, because who loves having plumbing issues, but I will say, I cant wait to share about their service with others to spread the word about a good, quality tradesman in our community like Austin. Austin has been our favorite person to work with while finishing our basement. He is attentive, responsive, and always has our best interest in mind. Not only did he do a great job bringing our new bathroom to life but also catching things throughout the process that others before him had done poorly and fixing them for us before they became a big problem for us. Something other folks may have overlooked as a “not their problem”. Hiring Austin feels like we hired a family friend the way he takes care of his customers, we will be calling him for a long time to come anytime we need a plumber. I highly recommend this amazing local business. Very friendly and knowledgeable people. We have worked with several of the big “cheap” companies here in Sioux Falls trying to save a buck and it turns out we weren’t saving anything at all and we were putting up with subpar unfriendly service. Austin and Chelsea were both amazing and they didn’t try to “scare” us into anything we didn’t need. I like that they were honest and upfront with their prices and helped us to make the right decisions for our particular needs without trying to up-sell us to make an extra buck. We won’t use anyone else again.

I reached out for my parents mobile home since they were having trouble with their drains being backed up and not many companies assist with mobile homes! Austin reached out quickly and made time to make it to their house!
