Having lived on the West Coast for many years I had never experienced the humidity we have here in the South. Finding the sub floor was soft and also moldy was very concerning. Healthy Crawlspace determined I needed the crawlspace encapsulated and a dehumidifier installed with monitors.The project was completed very quickly, and the crew were efficient and respectful. Greg and his team did a full Crawlspace encapsulation on our home. Our existing set up required significant clean up and prior to the project, humidity under our house was ~90%! They cleaned up the entire space, disposed of all existing and fallen down insulation, graded, pest proofed the entire crawlspace, installed a new dehumidifier, installed lighting, and added two new access doors that badly needed replacement. They scheduled the job appropriately and we’re done within 4 days of getting started. Humidity under the house has already dropped to the 60% range in under a week. Greg is responsive, professional, and informative. The team left behind no debris. My only regret is not doing it sooner! See photos for reference, no before photos simply because the condition under the house was so rough! Very pleased with the end product.

I would be a reference for Healthy Crawlspace anytime. I dont say that lightly because I dont refer just any person or company to my network.They are one of the best contractors that I have ever worked with on any project. Yes, they focus on crawlspaces and that is a pretty narrow focus, but if you have a humid, dirty, and otherwise unhealthy crawlspace you MUST contact Healthy Crawlspace right now.They are both fairly priced and meticulous in their attention to detail. Our crawlspace is now (its been 3 months) sealed properly, clean, and humidity controlled. They actually came back out today, yes three months later to just check in. Who does that? You know the answer, Healthy Crawlspace does.I have told a number of people about them and will continue to spread the word.

Every maintenance person that needs to access my crawlspace remark its the cleanest one theyve ever seen. They now offer an annual maintenance plan to come out & check the crawl & the dehumidifier operation. I cant say anything but good things about them!

Greg and his crew did an amazing job encapsulating the crawlspace on my newly purchased home. Greg was exceedingly professional, attentive and thorough in his inspection and explanations.He personally came out to check the progress several times and addressed any questions I had. Each day Caesar & the crew left, everything was put away and they even removed a 20 piece of old pipe another contractor had left behind. A week later Nick came out to show me how the dehumidifier worked and took extra time to investigate a potential leak in the crawlspace from another contractors previous work. Thanks to him a leak was in fact detected.I cannot say enough about this company. From the original call, through the work completion and final invoicing, everything was done in accordance with professionalism and excellent workmanship.

Everything was explained before and after their work, quite the education, who knew.My crawl space was already encapsulated, but rodents had gotten into the area because it was not properly sealed with the original installation by another company (over 8 years ago). Greg encapsulated our crawl space a few years ago. We were very pleased with the neat, clean, professional job that was done. It has made such a difference in the humidity level in the house. Anytime we have needed help since this company has been very responsive. On 6/9/23, we were hearing a very scary sound coming from the dehumidifier under the house. We called to express our concern. Nick, Gregs assistant, called right back and diagnosed what was happening. He could hear our concern and came out to our home atb9pm on a Friday night to deal with the issue right away. I did a lot of research on crawlspace encapsulation, and even thought about doing it myself, before I finally made the decision to get the job done. I got several estimates, and Greg came in several thousand dollars lower than the other companies. The other companies insisted that I did not need a sump pump, but Greg advise me to have one put in. Even with a sump pump and two dehumidifiers, Greg‘s estimate was far lower than the other guys.Once the work started, Greg was on site every day. His crew was punctual and efficient. They did a great job and communicated with me on a regular basis. Greg encouraged me to crawl around in my newly finished crawlspace, and I have done so. Greg‘s crew did not cut any corners and I am confident that I made the right decision. The sump pump that the other guys claimed I didn’t need runs on a regular basis and has helped clear up a lot of the standing water by the side of my house. The humidity inside my home has dropped off significantly, which has made our home much more comfortable.Greg answered my texts and emails quickly, and I never felt like I was in the dark. I highly recommend Greg‘s company and can verify the quality of his work. I have no doubt that Greg will stand by his work in the future if I ever run into any problems. Greg McBride and his team recently repaired our crawlspace. Our home was built in 1987 and the vapor barrier and insulation in the crawl space were falling down and light mold was evident on the joists. Greg recommended encapsulation as a more effective solution. This is similar in concept to what we were familiar with in Michigan homes with basements. His team showed up when expected and completed the work in a few days as promised. They removed the old materials, leveled and encapsulated the space, rebuilt the access doors, added lighting, and installed a commercial dehumidifier system. Humidity in the crawlspace has been well controlled and temperature has been moderate. Greg was great to work with and met all commitments. We highly recommend him!

I am an interior designer and renovator. I did extensive research on crawlspaces as I moved from the midwest to Georgia. I was not familiar with crawlspaces and was shocked to see how housing was built here. I interviewed several companies and received several quotes. My crawlspace had a thin layer of plastic down and had timed humidifiers in place installed by the previous homeowner who owned a water damage restoration company. I can’t say enough about the great work Greg has done for our home! We found standing water under our new home during the initial inspection. In Georgia’s high humidity this condition will certainly lead to the growth of mold and mildew. First, Greg removed the water, and then sealed the entire crawl space. He installed a sump pump, along with two humidifiers to keep the air in the crawl space dry enough to prevent any growth. The house smells better, is healthier, and is worry free!A true professional, who not only knows his business, but delivers on his claims with a smile, and at a reasonable cost!Everything you could hope for in a home service contractor!

Greg encapsulated our crawlspace, installed lights, a dehumidifier and two solid doors for us over 3 years ago. The job that was done was top notch. Recently, we had an issue with our dehumidifier. The issue was taken care of efficiently with zero hassle. Greg responds to texts and phone calls within minutes. He is the most responsive contractor I have ever dealt with and is a pleasure to do business with.
