It is hard to find dependable businesses these days but they are extremely dependable, professional and will go the extra mile to ensure that your requests are met. Kyle stayed in touch with me frequently to update me about the process.The turn around time was quick even after the hurricane with no lapse in quality of workmanship.Because of their professionalism and best work quality I even asked them to install gutters. I would definitely recommend this roofing company!

Well organized team of professionals who understand the business which was very comforting as the options were presented with zero pressure. The installation team was organized and extremely professional as well. The installers were able to fix all of the issues prior to installation which went very quickly. I couldnt be happier. South Shore stands behind their work 110%. I just scheduled 2 new solar vents to be installed. While they are onsite, they will also do an inspection and replace any shingles that need replacing at no additional charge.Recently had the guys at South Shore Roofing install new solar vents. Absolutely amazing... Highly recommend.

I had my insurance company look at my roof but, I wanted a second opinion before having anything done. South Shore Roofing’s customer service was exceptional from start to finish! I can’t begin to explain the surperb customer service we received as well as a great price!!! They communicated with us EVERY step of the way via text/email/phone calls. I’ve personally never had a company be that involved during the installation process of anything. Granted I don’t want to do this again (the recent hurricane) but if we had to, we would definitely choose South Shore. You even get your own project manager who handles literally everything from reaching out to your HOA and getting permits. Kyle our project manager is the best! Choose them, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I couldnt be happier with the job that South Shore did on my roof.After getting bids from four different companies. Two companies were large, well established and had very good reviews. I also had two smaller companies come out. I chose South Shore after getting a very fair price for a architectural shingle that I preferred. They honored the quote on extra boards that were needed (even though wood prices had gone up.The crew was extremely hard working and respectfully cleaned up the whole area both days.The work was inspected and I have no doubt they will stand behind their work.Getting a new roof is a big investment and I couldnt be happier with the professionalism and quality of the work that South Shore did on my roof.

South Shore Roofing installed my new roof, and I have nothing but good things to say about the result. They were very attentive from the very start when scheduling the initial inspection/estimate. Communication was great, the end product was amazing, all around this was an excellent experience. Luke, Brent, Kyle, Brett and all others on the South Shore Roofing team were great through the whole process. Every step of the way they make sure that you are aware of the progress.The one downside is that it is pricey. I got three estimates, and I will not beat around the bush, this was the priciest contractor (not by a small difference either -almost double the lowest one-) However, after asking some local friends who had similar work done, I was convinced that it was the best option, and I wanted to ensure a lasting solution. The service is good and the product is good, but you will pay for that difference.Flexible payment options and finance solutions are offered.Overall, I would recommend South Shore Roofing. They have excellent communication, install a good product, and customer service reaches a peak. But, if you are price conscious, or always seek the lowest estimate (or even simply not the highest) no matter what, you may as well skip seeking an estimate (it will probably be the highest of any estimate batch.)Thank You South Shore Roofing for an awesome new roof!(My review is for a re-roof and gutter installation on a single family residential property, that is all that i can speak to.)

These guys are the best! Quick to respond to all communication as well as with the initial proposal. The work was carried out quickly, and they were very accommodating with my business schedule and completed the roof replacement over a weekend. They even went back almost a year later, when one of my tenants had a leaking AC condensation pipe just to make sure it wasn’t the roof, which it wasn’t, and didn’t even charge for a site visit. As a side note, when I called about the leaking pipe, Luke answered the phone using my name without me even having to say who I was. I would highly recommend this roofing company for any residential or commercial needs, and would definitely use them again in the future.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Pictures and details of the work that was to be done along with products and methods were clearly explained. The contract was clear about what needed to be fixed and what would happen if we ran into additional problems. Brett and his team at South Shore stayed in contact with us throughout the entire process. The work crew was careful and diligent. They left no mess behind and fixed or replaced components down to the smallest detail - they were fast, courteous, and thorough. My roof needed a lot of work; electric temperature controlled roof vents needed replacing, skylights needed to be removed, drip edges and major sources of leaks needed to be removed, 23 sheets of rotten deck material had to be replaced, and additional rafters and perlin supports needed to be added. All of this was scheduled and completed in one day. Thank you, Southshore!!

The most professional roofing company I’ve ever used. I have never been giving a folder with card stock explaining each and every product that would be used to fix my roof. The technician that was sent out to inspect my roof brought a bag full of products and explained how each one worked and how long it lasted. Not to mention I was given the quote the day I got it inspected and quote was 2000.00 less than previous two quotes from other company’s that I had got quotes from. The thing that surprised me the most is that it only took them a day to start and fully replace my roof. The best experience I have ever received from any company I have used so far. They have a process that they follow to document precisely the details of the job they will be doing. The contract they produce assured us that we knew what would be done. After the repair was done, we received pictures showing what was done and then received a 2 year warranty. They cleaned up well and then checked with us to make sure we were satisfied. Highly recommend. I really appreciated the consistent communication (which can lack in todays environment). They helped with all the proper approvals. South Shore Roofing replaced the very low pitched roof on our house and installed two new skylights in July 2023. Nearly six months later, we could not be happier with the work they did! We got quotes from four different roofing companies. When Luke arrived (on time!) to give us a written estimate (prepared while he was at our house), we knew we were going to hire South Shore. On one of the hottest days of the year, their installation team (who also arrived on time) worked over 12 hours, and by lunch time the second day, they had our entire project finished! The staff, including Luke, Brent, Matt, Brett, and the installers, were very professional, and it was a pleasure to work with them. Having a roof replaced is not an easy thing to go through, but South Shore Roofing made it a pretty painless experience. We are on Hilton Head Island, and after researching and interviewing two other roofing contractors, I met with Luke today from South Shore. He arrived on time, and I showed him several skylights and areas of concern. He is a breath of fresh air…kind and so professional. He spent time in the attic as well as on the roof, giving thoughtful and thorough consideration to our specific needs (including an area with a flat rubber roof.) Unlike other roofers I’ve met with, his approach is fully transparent, and my estimate was done in an itemized manner before he left. Pricing is competitive and the service included is comprehensive. He came with good sized samples of roofing products as well. We look forward to working with South Shore! I’ll update after our roof is completed!

Our entire roof needed to be replaced, with water damage on the ceilings and multiple leaks throughout the house. Out of the three companies that came out to inspect us and give us a quote, South Shore was the most thorough, and they even brought out examples of what kinds of shingles, flashing, etc they use versus what we currently had. They gave us a quote that day and the project manager was very easy to work with, and they estimated that the whole job would be done in a day and a half, which was amazing as we do NOT have a small house.The crew they have are some of the most professional, competent, and industrious men Ive ever seen. They arrived promptly at dawn, set everything up, had the whole roof off, all of the new decking and most of the new shingles and flashing done by sundown. They came back the next day and finished up around noon; everything was cleaned up, the yard inspected for nails and debris, everything that was moved out of the way was put back, and the roof looked fantastic. They returned in a few days for a quality inspection, found one small piece of bent flashing and replaced it quickly, and they even boarded up some holes on the side where mice were getting in, which they didnt have to do.We have since had several hard storms and everything looks great; not a single leak or issue. In the months following the repair Ive only ever found one single nail around the whole entire yard. All in all Im extremely impressed, and definitely recommend South Shore for anybody looking for a job thoroughly well done.

He went up into the attic space to look for additional leaks, to evaluate the gaskets and to give us a clear picture of the roof from the inside of the house, as well as the outside of the house. I found out my roof was leaking on a Sunday afternoon, the day before a holiday. I immediately panicked and called two contractors to come do an inspection the following day. After the unexpectedly high cost of the first contractor, I contacted South Shore Roofing just in case the second was going to be a disappointment. Even though they did not have any appointments available, they squeezed me in between inspections because I had an active leak. They came the same day. That is when I met Kevin. He was thorough and inspected more than any other contractor before him had done. He informed me that I had several leaks and they were due to the poor workmanship of the builder. He removed the wet insulation from my attic and placed containers down to capture water from future leaks until they could return. Additionally, he sprayed bleach in the areas where the leaks were to prevent a mold infestation. The customer service he provided was beyond words. Even though South Shore was more expensive than my second quote (lower than the first), I chose to do business with them because of the service I received from Kevin. He made me feel comfortable and he made me feel like my home was in capable hands. I am highly satisfied with the service from everyone involved. During every step the staff communicated with me and informed me of what the next steps would be. I appreciated the time and commitment they invested in me and the well being of my home. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a roof replacement.

Had a complete roof installed, gave me the best price of the 5 contractors who I got bids from. Glad they did, work was completed on schedule, started after I left for work and was complete before I got home. Took a ton of pictures of extra work that had to be done that was not found until after they got the old roof off, (had to replace a few rafters and some plywood decking), and also provided an itemized receipt including work and labor. Its a wonder full feeling for a contractor to be so transparent.

Came as scheduled and on time. Completed work in timeframe that was discussed. Work crew was very professional and neat. Did a magnet sweep for nails quite a few times. Project manager came back on Tuesday to check for nails again and to do a final inspection and to make sure all supplies were picked up . The dumpster was removed as scheduled. Could not ask for a more professional roofing company . The pictures taken as the work was being done were great references and everything was discussed with us -there were no surprises. They even called after wards to still check and see if everything was still in good condition.They went above and beyond. They mentioned that it was a section on the back of the house that wasnt worth redoing. Kyle and his team at South Shore Roofing did a fantastic job on our complete roof replacement and rafter repairs.We had gotten estimates from several local roofers last year and decided to wait until this year to have the project completed. In the time since we first met the South Shore Roofing team, Mitch in the office was politely persistent in communicating with us and letting us know that they are still looking forward to working with us. For that reason amongst others, we decided to have South Shore Roofing do our project. Once I gave Mitch the go ahead to start the process the entire team was a pleasure to speak with and work with. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in getting the project going. Prior to their team, even showing up at our home communication was often and informative, which I greatly appreciate. Being that we are in the south east of Georgia. Weather is always a concern, when doing this type of project, and even though we had a slight delay, their team finished our project in the same time frame that we agreed upon. Kyle was our on-site project manager and went above and beyond to ensure that we got the end result we were looking for even changing the color of one of the products that was being used on our project the day they started. Making changes once the crew had already started is certainly something that is not normal, but Kyle saw that it would be a better fit and was more than happy to make sure we Got the best color and product for our project. We would highly recommend South Shore Roofing to anyone who asked and applaud them for their integrity and craftsmanship throughout the entire process.
