Derek installed the hot water heater and was FANTASTIC. He went out of his way to make sure everything was exact. He was personable and respectful of the home. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was installed correctly and made sure that there was no mess or anything to clean up. I had no worries having Derek in the house.Cody was great and explained everything in detail, was personable and He advised what was needed and quoted a good price. There was no pressure or scare tactic. Derek and Cody are a great assets to Veterans Air and because of them we will be repeat customers.

Ricki was prompt and efficient. Fair on coming up with the best alternatives to address our leaking hot water tank. There was however a scheduling issue with dispatching that complicated this because two different departments were required. It remains to be seen if all works out as expected.After some confusion it all worked out. This is juxtaposition to a holiday that would have been very difficult if things had not been resolved. Thanks for appropriate resolution.Justin Ford was very efficient in completion of the plumbing part of a hot water tank change out for a tankless. The process was workmanlike and seems well within the desired result. Assuming all passes county inspection I am comfortable with the work done.Brian Rice was a kind man to come on Christmas Eve to get us running hot water before the holiday. This happened after he was a sub for someone else who had obviously been wrongly assigned and unprepared. However, I don’t understand why the screws were not all replaced on the power panel. They were there when he came but gone from two of the locations . I didn’t notice until after he left. I hope it passes inspection. It would be nice to have things at least as complete as when it was started.The screws were replaced once Brian was made aware that this was a problem.

Richard was our tech . He was unbelievable! So knowledgeable and so thorough!! Excellent at explaining our options to us and very personable. We will definitely be using Veteran Air from now on. We also had Joel come to inspect all of our electrical. He was extremely thorough and pointed out several issues that needed urgent upgrades, including a surge protector. Joel was also willing to work on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. to complete our job. The biggest job Veteran Air performed for us was to replace all of our old ductwork in a very small attic area with a small pitched roof. With very little room to move around, it took 4 extremely agile and talented techs to complete the 8 hour job! Ron, Shevin, Kayla, and Devon removed all the old ductwork, some of which was metal that tends to sweat in the summer. This was causing a wet spot on our kitchen ceiling. Now we have shiny new ductwork that has dramatically increased the airflow through our home. Great job 👏

I need to tell you about the courteous and quick service that I received this past week from Veteran Air. The tidal surge from Hurricane Helene knocked out our air conditioning system. My son, Travis Murdock, an electrician with Veteran Air assured me that his co-workers in the air conditioning department are the best in the area, so I called for an estimate. Greg promptly came out and gave a fair estimate. The work was scheduled with Madison this past Monday to start the next day. She was most helpful and pleasant to talk with. Tuesday morning Doug Nite and his partner Jesus arrived promptly when scheduled and went right to work. They were most professional, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous - they really knew their stuff. To me it seemed like a big job, but by the middle of the afternoon the old system was gone and the new system was installed and up and running. Life is good again. Thank you so much Travis, Greg, Madison, Doug & Jesus.

Today Josh Rupert my HVAC technician property went threw my home A/C to find my cooling issue. He was able to identify and provide me with a repair quote and also made additional recommendations. Pat Smith was on time very professional and also very helpful with explaining all that was done as well as giving me optional issues that needed to addressed. From basic necessary, will need to be addressed Ed in near future as well as offering the best possible solution overall.Much needed clear understanding at what I was facing helped me make my decision after rereading the work, pictures taken and researching myself.I am actually not thrilled with the front office and call center they have, but the on-site workers are truly top notch.

Our 1966 home with cast iron pipes had a leak in the wall. We needed to repipe the entire home including drainage to the street. Veteran Plumbing came within a day to discuss service options. It was a big expense but was definitely needed. Tyler was a pleasure to work with. He answered every question, fixed every scheduling issue, came to observe the ongoing and completed work at a moment’s notice with friendly professionalism. Maciej was a master at his plumbing skills. He worked until all daily tasks were completed. He supervised his crew with dedication. It took 3 weeks to complete due to delays of downpours. These gentlemen went above and beyond to finish this intensive project. We hope this lasts 25 years as projected. We will definitely will continue to use Veteran Air and Plumbing. We had damage to several outlets on our dock after we flooded with Helene and Milton. We called veteran air and electrical to have someone come out and help us. The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. They got us an appointment the very next day. Bryan M came out today to repair and replace the receptacles. I cannot say enough good things about Bryan! He was on time, friendly, highly knowledgeable, and just all around helpful in a way that went well above and beyond excellent customer service. I could tell that he really genuinely cared about us and the quality work he was doing. After our experience with Bryan, I would never go anywhere else except to this company for our electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning needs. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give Bryan a 20!

Wow, my husband and I had an awesome experience dealing with Jade who looked at our ac unit and talked us through every detail of replacing it after 14 years, it was time very professional young man. To our surprise they were able to get us a new ac unit the next day. Amazing!! The two young men Carlos and Mariano were very professional as well and worked from start to finish and we have an outstanding new ac unit cooling our house back down. I would recommend this company and it’s employees to all my family and friends!!

The technician was fantastic. They were professional and kept me informed. The only drawback that I think the company should consider is the push for up selling is a little much. I am sure my technician was doing what he was trained to do by the company. But it felt excessive. Thats the only reason I would avoid using them again is the up selling push. Other than that they were great.

Shawn came out today to replace a noisy fan motor which was, fortunately, under warranty. Shawn was courteous, prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He completed the work quickly, and the replacement motor is quiet as we had hoped/expected.When Shawn was done, though, he then helped us to resolve a billing question/issue by calling the appropriate finance contact at Vet Air. Been in our Bradenton home for +40 years and our AC system has been patched into a Frankenstein of a system, bits and pieces replaced, relocated, and reworked but has limped along. Until last Friday evening. Turned down the temperature but the only thing that went down was the comfort level. Contacted our normal serviceman but, as happens a lot in Florida, he had retired. But he highly recommended Veteran Air. Checked into them and lots of good reviews so got in touch and set up an appointment for Sunday.With our non-stop heat, Saturday got quite unbearable. Contacted Veteran Air again and luckily, they managed to get us an appointment for Saturday evening. Their service tech Rich stopped by and checked everything out. Unfortunately, a coolant leak was found in the attic mounted air handler coil that could not be repaired and replacing the old coil would be an expensive band aid. Ducts were fine and after long chat with him and decided the best way to go would be a new system, with (hopefully) a Monday install.Luckily, we had a 12,000 BTU portable AC we got for hurricane emergencies and although this was not a hurricane, it was an emergency. That along with some circulation fans made the house tolerable Sunday and Sunday evening, it definitely was a great purchase a few years back.Everything came in and Monday, their techs showed up and were ready to go. A lot of scrambling around, in and out of the attic, new slab under the condenser (hurricane rated), new lines, new air handler, new circuit breakers, new WIFI enabled thermostat, and best of all, new cold air blowing. System runs great. Thursday an inspector came by (without a ladder???) and everything was great so we are rolling cold now.Cannot hold judgement on anyone else reviewing Veteran Air, but our experience was great. The people were friendly and professional and the system works great. From order to cold air blowing in about 36 hours is pretty good in my book. The high recommendation from our previous serviceman carried a lot of weight, too. The thank you gift today was nice, too.

Jordan R arrived on time and was able to quickly and efficiently fix our AC system! As a woman it was important to me that I understood what was broken on my system and what he did to repair it. Not only did I feel comfortable with him in my home but my children felt comfortable enough that they inquisitively watched and asked questions as Jordan worked. My experience during the last five years with Veteran Air has been exceptional. The last visit by technician Jack Lobo was no exception. He took the time to educate and inform me on the condition of our ac units. He proactively ordered a blower wheel for each unit that were still operable but clearly deteriorating as they were both rusting out for some odd reason. He already did his homework before the visit and knew we had a labor warranty so everything was covered. That superb service didn’t stop there. Another tech Michael Alvarez came out to replace the blower wheels and he noticed the screws to hold the blower wheel in place were rusted out and instead of just reusing them, he went and got new ones. He then made appts with additional techs to try to uncover why my 4 year old system seems to be prematurely deteriorating. This company is different than any other that I’ve ever dealt with. The techs are passionate about what they do and they take pride in their work. They go the extra mile and those qualities are rare in today’s world. Veteran Air is clearly doing something right and I highly recommend them!

Couldnt be more pleased. Their plumbing technician Xavier ran late at the job before mine and didnt end up arriving until about 7pm (which i told them was perfectly fine). He was extremely professional, clear about the problem, the best solution, and the services/the pricing. Not only all that, he was really personable and great to chat with in general. Price was also $100 less than another quote we received. Great experience for the second time (veteran air also installed a new AC system for me a few years ago).

The technician who showed up fully agreed that the repair price was ridiculous and claimed he doesn’t set the pricing, he simply replaced a GFCI outlet, it’s a less than $20 part that Veteran charged me $320. I received a call from Veteran Air after I posted this review and the manager apologized and returned a good portion of my money to make this right. We appreciated the call from him and his willingness to fix it.

We came home one day after Hurricane Debby came through to find out our AC Unit was no longer working. We called Veteran Air and they had a tech (Casey) that was in the area finishing up a job who agreed to do one more stop for us at 9:00pm. Casey came over, got us up and running and got us a quote for a new system which we knew was going to be needed soon. They price matched all other quotes and gave us a great financing deal. Caseys communication throughout the process was second to none! I would hire him in an instant! The installation crew was absolutely awesome. They came out on that Saturday at 9:00am and had us up and running by mid afternoon. We have used Veteran Air for years and we have never had a representative of the company that wasnt polite & knowledgeable. Thank you Veteran Air, Casey & Bryan!UPDATE: We also had our free inspection w/ Matt S. only to find out what we knew was coming...time for a new water heater and we had to have our main water shut off valve replaced. Fortunately, Courtney W. & Ryan R. came out first thing on Monday morning and took great care of us! Thank you for such great service!

I had a great experience with the Jet who worked on my houses AC. He was very polite, informative, and has a welcoming personality. After Jets initial inspection of the AC system, he provided me with three different options from need to fix, should fix and will need more work in the future, and everything is covered. He was very helpful in explaining what I could do to help the AC system run efficiently and prolong its life so I wouldnt have to purchase a new unit. The costumer service was excellent. I appreciate the level of effort and detail that Jet provided.

Wow!! After almost 2 years of my AC unit running improperly (installed by another company) ... Veteran Air has FINALLY found the issue! In fact Dennis Younglove, the technician that serviced my unit was the person who discovered the issue. Dennis actually went above and beyond, and I am so grateful!! The other company refused to admit anything was wrong. Dennis spent the time, and even went under the house where a major issue was revealed. Cameron was our technician and he was fabulous. Our main issue was a whole house water treatment system that is not operating properly. Cameron explained what he thought was the issue and made several call to local plumbing supply stores but no one carried the exact part needed. He then descaled our tankless hot water heater and explained the process and cost up front. Finally, he performed a whole house plumbing inspection free of charge and took lots of photographs for future reference. He was extremely personable, worked with care and took his time. Highly recommend him and Veteran Air for your A/C, plumbing and electrical needs

The service tech left a mess behind! Screws, cut wires, the rubber that covers wires… it wasn’t a large project either where I could see a few items being missed, it was one outlet (as in, a stationary job).

What more can I say then Pure Professionalism and Work Ethic.We recently switched from another A/C maintenance Company due to constant plaguing issues with our A/C with no solution.Veteran Air came highly recommend to us, So we gave them a try. We started with our first Issue back in June with a No cooling issue. Found our duct work in the attic was deteriorated badly and our Insulation was way below standard. We had all this fixed along with a system tune up. Worked great for a week or two then had another not cooling issue come up. Came back out at no charge and Found several issues left undone by previous company that caused our system to have multiple issues, Long story short they worked with us tirelessly to get all of the issues resolved. Took a little while with warranty parts and such but we couldnt be happier with the end result. House is cooling way better then before and Maintaining temperature longer between cycling of the system. If your having Issues we highly recommend them. We are now set up on the maintenance plan as well to insure our system operates smoothly as it is now.And a Special Thanks goes out to the techs that helped us though this whole ordeal. If we could give more then 5 stars we would. A+++

Marcus did fine. However I am not happy with the unit. It cost $5,000.00. Has had issues twice, once on warranty. This repair, even though the part is covered by the 10-year warranty, will cost over $600.00. If I add a recommended surge protector, it will be over $1,000.00. The Wall unit I had installed in the bedroom, near the same time, cost less than $400.00 and has not had any issues.

Yesterday 9-18-24 I called Veterans Air for an Electrical problem throughout my entire house. The water pipes in my home were Electrified. I had a water heater repair service guy fixing my Hot Water Valve on my Heater when he took a slight shock. He told me to contact an Electrician. Veterans Air sent me A licensed Electrician the very next day. They said my appointment was between 8am and 12 pm. He would call me 30 minutes before showing up. I got the call at 9:46 and 30 minutes later he pulled in. Tim asked me to give him a description of the problem and I took him on a 2 minute tour of the new A/C unit, the Hot Water Heater and the inside of the house where the 3 faucets are and the shower. He got to work locating the Faulty ground wires and removed them. He then went through my house checking each one of the Faucets and shower to make sure no current was flowing. I could not be happier with the Price, Workmanship, Cleanliness, of Tim and Veterans Air. A Full 5 Star review. If I could give 10 I would.

I called on Halloween morning with no AC and they were out 3 hours later. Unfortunately I needed a new system but they were out the next morning (Saturday) to install. The service tech and the install crew were efficient and polite. My expectations were highly surpassed and would definitely recommend these folks.

Travis & Colin did a great job diagnosing the problem I was having installing a new dimmer switch in my bathroom. The breaker would continue to trip and I couldn’t figure out why.I’m glad I called Veteran Air! They discovered a ground wire that was shorting out in one of the two other switches in the 3 gang switch box. They corrected the short problem and installed the new dimmer switch all for a very reasonable cost! I will be using them in the future for any electrical work.

I so appreciate the fact that Shawn instructs me on all that he addresses so I can help to maintain my system and avoid unnecessary service calls.
