Unfortunately my house flooded during Hurricane Helene and needed electrical repairs so I called The Original Electrician because I was so happy with their service the first time. Once they started the repairs, Andrew recommended rewiring the entire home since the house is almost 60 years old and still had the original cloth wires. It ended up being a much larger project than originally expected, but they are making sure everything is done to code and that I am happy with the end result. I trust them and would highly recommend them.

They also cleaned up all of the old, unused wires coming out of the house. They were very professional and had great communication throughout the job. I have used Andrew at the Original Electrician a few times. I have been having some problems and needed to have the electrical panel in my house which is original from 1956 replaced and a few other items taken care of I called Andrew and he came over gave me a quote and we set up a time for him to come and do the work. He and his team showed up on time, worked with Florida power and light and did an absolutely beautiful job of the panel replacement. when the inspector showed up he said it was actually superior. I would recommend Andrew The Original Electrician to anyone in Sarasota and have actually recommended him to my neighbors who have used him as well. great job great value very professional. Also Andrew had a young man with him that was an apprentice I could hear them in my garage as they worked and hear their discussions and how Andrew was teaching him it was actually very impressive. Great experience and I would use them again.

Highly recommend this company!!!Elijah and Cody (I think that was his name, sorry Cody!) came out to my house to fix what I thought was just a popped circuit going to my pool pump. These two very professional, kind, and knowledgeable gentleman found that my antiquated electrical system was one unfortunate event away from possibly causing a house fire. Everything was explained to me and supported with photos of my system. After agreeing to their reasonably priced estimate, we made an appointment to completely rewire and update my breaker box THE NEXT DAY! Everything was finished quickly with only a few hours without power.

Our neighborhood experienced a power outage which must have flipped the main breaker. I tried, my son tried and a neighbor tried to pull it back into the own position. No luck. Our service panel was damaged from a lightning strike. Andrew assessed the damage and helped us with negotiations with our insurance company providing them with all the technical information they needed. He then replaced our panel and upgraded all the circuit breakers, ground and meter. He was great interfacing with Florida Power and Light so that we were only without power for a short time while the meter was replaced. He also took care of the inspection. Andrew did an outstanding job hanging a crystal chandelier and converting 3 recess lights into pendant lights. The chandelier was bought in Europe, and the lights were Turkish. Explained everything more thoroughly and I understood what happened and what the complete situation is. I believe what he explained is true and will decide what to do when applicable. I agree the panel should be replaced after his photos and explanation. Im just not moving the review to a five because of the confusion involved although it is straightened out nowAlthough the panel should be replaced I will do much research and decide soon what to do.
