We just had our generator installed by FPS, and it was very smooth from start to finish. The team kept us up to date on throughout the process and sent a detailed schedule and requirements as the install date got closer.Additionally, our gas supply is on the opposite side of the house from the electric panel. Everyone else told us we needed to bore around the house to run a gas line. Only FPS recommended adding a second gas meter, which was much less expensive.We highly recommend the team from FPS...

We had florida power solutions install a whole house generator and 500gl propane tank at our home. All phases of the project were completed flawlessly. The level of detail and execution of their work and that of the other contractors was and is above all my expectations. We had our first year maintenance, the technician was very thorough with his explanation of the process. He work diligently and quickly and left the area clean and tidy. Before he left he gave us a detailed explanation of all work performed and asked if we had any questions before leaving. We would like to let you know that his professionalism and work ethic is appreciated!

Absolutely first class experience start to finish. Florida Power Solutions is the most professional whole home generator installation and service company in the Sarasota Bradenton area. They are very busy so plan to be patient. There’s a good reason for that, superior products and service. They’ve installed thousands of stand by generators in our area which simply means they have the experience to solve any problem that might come up. Installation is a lengthy complicated process with notices and permits that need to be filed and cleared. Their excellent office staff handles all that for you. The installers did a super nice job and cleaned up meticulously. The follow up customer orientation was friendly and professional. I got several quotes from other companies. I have a Generac generator that was installed 7 years old by another company. In August I had a problem and the other company told me that it would cost $7500 to fix it and they really thought based on its age that I should just install a new generator for $12,000. I was shocked and decided to get another opinion. I looked at the list of authorized service dealers and found Florida Power Solutions. I also read all of the Google reviews which were extremely positive. So I made the call. Ashley said they could have someone out the next day since I was leaving for a two week trip two days later. Matt came and said he was able to tell what the problem was and put in a new oil pressure switch. That cost me $143. Quite a difference from the other company. Then this week the generator didnt turn on for its test and Ashley sent Layne out. He explained it just needed to be reset and showed me how to do it. The bill was $137. He also took the time to show me exactly what to do and explained things the other company had never mentioned to me in 7 years. He gave me his phone number to call if I have any more problems. I cant begin to tell you how impressed I am with this company. They are honest and diligent in trying to provide you with the best service possible. In this day and time there are few places where you can receive such excellent service. I would definitely recommend you contact them.

The entire process, from getting the initial estimate to completion, has been a great experience with Florida Power Solutions. The office staff couldnt have been more accommodating in filing all the necessary paperwork for HOA and County approval. The outside contractors for electric and gas were also amazing, efficient, and did clean work. Arguably the best part of dealing with FPS was when Chris Freeman came to do the initial startup. Chris took his time to answer all of our questions about the generator and set up the remote monitoring. Chris is a true professional and very knowledgeable. I couldnt be happier with the level of customer service and highly recommend FPS to anyone considering a generator.

New homeowners to Florida & I automatically knew I wanted a home generator to be prepared for the wrath of Mother Nature.I didn’t need to get different quotes from other vendors from the moment I spoke to the Debbie in the office I was sold! All the other ladies in the office are very nice as well. They guided me on what I needed it to do. The day they came to install my unit, two gentleman name Aaron & Daniel did the job. They were both very knowledgeable in explaining and also very respectful & super neat! I also had another gentleman by the name of Ray come out to teach me how the generator process works.He took his time explaining the do’s & how to check on the generator. Simply overall pleased & excited to have went with Florida Power Solutions. Now just waiting on you Mother Nature so I can see my new investment at work.

I have spent more than 40 years in the construction industry and during that time I have not come across a more professional company. I had FPS install a Kohler Generator at my house, including a transfer switch. The installation was done on schedule at a fair price. Their workmanship is outstanding and their highly qualified technicians are a pleasure to work with. The installation was turnkey, including installation of the gas line underground, which was done without trenching.If you are looking for the installation of a whole house generator, I highly recommend having FPS do the work.

I am skeptical about service companies delivering as promised.FPS proactively communicated in writing, with clear timelines of all the necessary steps. They welcomed any questions I had.I got another quote quote. The 2nd company sounded good, but not at the same level of experience and generator expertise as FPS.I highly recommend FPS if you are making this major investment.

They handled every aspect of the installation of our generator including working with Detweilers involving the installation of a 500 gallon propane tank. We were kept informed during the entire process and all costs were explained at the start.The workers were skilled, professional, and explained each step as it happened. The owner, Eric, followed up through out the process and his son, Tim, did a complete explanation of the how everything works. If you are looking to put in a generator, FPS is the company for you.
