I was so pleased that our builder chose Woods Comfort systems for the HVAC system. We recently closed on the house, and Woods Comfort Systems was very proactive and reaching out to us and scheduling a step-by-step walk-through of the entire system. The company really has outstanding customer service. I had to call back a few times before the appointment to get some questions answered, and they were really the nicest and most helpful people. Travis came out this afternoon, and his demeanor was so professional and totally customer service oriented. Travis walked me through the set up and app install for our new system and made sure all my system’s settings were where they needed to be. We went up into the attic and he was kind enough to give me some lessons on the whole house dehumidifier and all sorts of other useful information. Travis’ HVAC knowledge and experience was top notch and, again, he was one of the nicest folks we’ve met. If you want an exceptional HVAC company with a long history in the area, and who believes in customer service, I would highly recommend Woods Comfort systems. Jonathan did an excellent job in diagnosing where the water leak was and making recommendations for replacing our old water treatment system. He explained our options and the pros and cons to each. He was then able to introduce us to Shelby in their finance department, who was able to get the system we desired financed at acceptable terms. Jonathan was then able to locate the system we wanted in the area. He then went and picked it up and returned to install it the same day. Now, that is tremendous service. Thanks to Jonathan, Shelby, and the Woods team my family will have wonderful water for a long time!

Finally, an HVAC contractor that sets expectations and then beats them. We desperately needed a complete duct replacement as the old one was condensing and leaking through the ceiling lights. After a long, consultative meeting with David Partain, we agreed to remove and replace the existing metal duct work, overhaul the existing HVAC unit, reinsulate, and relocate our exterior condensing unit to a more friendly location.Woods Comfort Systems showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and kept us informed every step of the way. Their team was courteous, motivated, and easy to have in the house. We couldn’t be happier with the results. They did a great job getting me a shut off valve on a water line for a fridge. Ed was wonderful, and while I tend to prefer small businesses that are local I appreciated how quickly the Woods folks could send someone out to my house [who WAS local] and handle things. There is a $90 service fee that is non-negotiable and does not go toward your total bill, so be ready for that - if you decide you dont want the work done/want a 2nd opinion before deciding youll still need to pay that [steep in my mind] call fee.

From start to finish, my experience with Woods was excellent! It began with Davids visit to my home where he proceeded to give me a very professional evaluation with clear, informative options for replacing my HVAC system. My install was scheduled for 3 days later on a Saturday. The technicians Saul and Brandon were on time for the job, very polite, and finished installing my entire new system in a little over 2 hours! David even came by for a few minutes during the install just for a courtesy visit. Finally Jayden came out a few days later to do a Quality Walk to make sure that everything was looking and functioning like its supposed to. Throughout the entire process I was always given timely communications to let me know what was happening, when, and by whom. Its obvious that Woods Comfort Systems goes out of its way to ensure a GREAT customer service experience!

Ive gotten over 10 quotes from several reputable companies around Austin to replace my Bryant Evolution system and change the house from 1 zone to 3 zones. Woods, by far, was the highest quality and most professional company.David, the GM, was the only one who went through the attic, and not only inspected all the ducts, but showed me a couple of leaks. Everyone else just did a quick look.I was told by all other companies, that my older unit was either 4 or 5 tons (the model sticker was faded/gone), but David showed me the serial number and we looked it up, and it was actually 3.5 TON!Post-installation customer service, help with the getting all the rebates paperwork prepared/submitted - from A to Z is all 5 stars!Highly recommended - for anything AC or plumbing - as they did an amazing job installing a whole house halo-5 filter/softener too!

The professionalism, kindness and attention he gave in evaluating our home, meeting our needs, how he treated my family and I, was exceptional and praiseworthy. Even in how He insisted in putting shoe covering on his feet to protect our floor despite my reassurance taking the time to do so wasnt necessary, his care was evident. And despite an injury and being out of work, the manager, Jay, took our call late in the day to answer our questions and help educate and guide us through our options. These folks are top notch! Man oh man, I’ll try not to make this post too long. I can’t say enough good things about Woods Comfort Systems. Long story short, when my husband and I moved into our house 2 years ago, we knew we were going to have to get a new HVAC. Ours was 16 years old, and hadn’t been replaced since the house was built 😳 We got quotes from a few different companies, but threw one out immediately when they tried to tell us it was going to be $20-23k to replace it . 😅 The other companies we talked to quoted us between $11-15k, which was what we were expecting. We ended up going with Woods for 2 different reasons. 1) They installed the ducts and HVAC in our house originally, so they knew more about our system than most. While some of the other companies were confused about the duct system, David knew why it is the way that it is, and could explain things to us. 2) Because of David. ☺️ David came in and talked to myself first, and then came back to tell my husband the things he told me. He was patient and willing to explain everything, and answered any questions we had, and just overall made us feel confident in our decision. David came today for our install along with Saul, and one other guy whose name I didn’t catch. All of them were so nice and did a great job with everything. Our house already feels 1,000x better, and I know we’ll be calling Woods moving forward for all of our HVAC needs. Thank you to David and his team. Y’all are the best! 👏🏼

Wood Comfort System installed our system two years ago when we built our house - wonderful system and people. Recently, with the extreme heat, our thermostat was acting up. Virgle Wiley came out to check the entire system. While the system was working as it should, he changed out the programmable thermostat in the event that it was what was causing the problems.Wood also has a program where they come out twice a year to check the system and clean it. I highly recommend this. It is a small price to pay for such a big investment.

Travis has been our tech for, I think the last 3 or 4 visits, and he has been like a family member to us. He is very thorough and always has our best interests in mind. We had our downstairs A/C stop blowing cold air on a Saturday morning, it’s June in Texas and we need A/C!!!!We called Woods Comfort Systems and they had a tech at the house a few hours later.Our tech was Virgle Wiley (who we have had before) . He is first class! Virgle is extremely knowledgeable, professional and very efficient. He’s someone that you want to represent your company.He got us back up and cooling quickly. My AC hasn’t been cooling my house below 80, so I’ve been collecting quotes for service from different companies. Triston came out today to assess our unit and was very helpful and great to work with. He even provided a courtesy inspection of a suspected leak which saved us a couple hundred dollars. He walked us through all steps of the process to fix the leak and explained everything very clearly. We decided to go with Woods because their prices are much better than the others we looked at and Triston’s customer service was excellent!

Of course the AC would break on a weekend. Thankful Jose came over so quickly. The house already had gotten to 85 degrees in just a few hours. Jose went right to the problem, fixed it, and checked other parts as well just to be certain the system was running as it should before he left. Very thankful for good service.
