I recently had Proactive Plumbing come out to fix a leaking pipe in my home, and overall, I was really impressed with the service.What went well:Kenny and Mike were very punctual and arrived right on time.The repair was done quickly and effectively. They used high-quality materials and ensured everything was sealed tight before finishing the job.The area was cleaned up after the work was done—no mess was left behind, which I appreciated.I was given an upfront estimate, and the final price matched the estimate, with no hidden fees or surprises.What could have been better:Would I recommend them? Definitely! Currently having them remove and install a new bathroom vanity.

We were so sure we had a SLAB leak. My insurance company sent out several leak detection companies, who did not find a leak. But, our water bill was through the roof and our usage did not make sense. So we reached out to Proactive Plumbing.Proactive quoted us at $466 dollars. Based on their stellar google reviews, I was more than willing to pay it, not only for peace of mind, but to find the problem.Mike B. came out and figured out the problem in about 5 minutes. But more importantly, (it was not a SLAB leak), because he was able to figure out the problem so quickly, he only charged me $198.00. We agreed on $466.00, and this guy had the integrity to cut that by more than half. You dont find that kind of honesty in these fields that often.5/5 stars and a huge recommendation from me.

Noticed a leak coming from the back of our home, near the kitchen sink. End up calling Proactive (Mike Baker) from a direct referral. He was able to get someone to our home same day in the time we requested, Ken showed up right on time, was polite and professional, he quickly went to work. Long story short, they found the leak (two cracks in a main sewage line from the kitchen sink), a bigger job, fixed the repair before dark, cleaned out the pipes from the clog which caused the crack and did it all extremely efficient and professionally. I will be calling them again when I have a problem, and I have referred them to my friends and family. Highly recommend, and the price was reasonable for the size of the job, no over charging.

Did the pressure drop test to validate everything was good. Communication was clear on what we could use and not while the fix was being put in place. I worked closely with Ben and he was incredibly kind and patient. For context, we had a slab leak at my dads house and when we called to make an appointment, within an hour Ben had called me to get a full description and advised me to turn off the hot water line so that we could avoid further damage until he came the next day. This proactive call didnt happen when we called another plumbing service. When Ben arrived, he assessed the situation and provided a quote that was fair and he detailed the work clearly in laymans terms. The entire team that worked with us was professional and got the job done. I will not hesitate to reach out to Proactive Plumbing again should any other issues arise.

I had 3 leaking sinks and bathroom toilet leaking. The estimates were a little on the expensive side. They tightened something on two of other sinks on the house but stated that its not guaranteed because they didnt replace anything. They replaced the other sink valves (1 yr guaranteed) and toilet (replacement repair guaranteed for a year). The two plumbers were professional and the lead plumber was thorough with explanations. The plumber in training didnt vacuum all the old toilet water during replacement so some water spilled out on the floor but he wiped it all dry. Good lesson for him. Overall, satisfied with the work.

Dealing with the aftermath of my Mothers passing and getting her affairs in order has been especially difficult without needed info and no one left living to turn to for help.My brother played a huge role in the whys off needed repairs that are best described as putting band aids on bullet holes which lead to her home almost burnt to the ground, black mold and major water damage to the kitchen, black mold and water damage to 1 bathroom and, countless other things.Water dept left a message about abnormal water usage and had someone come by to check the meter. I was informed at that time the water was running at 10+ gallons a minute 23/7I called several businesses before noon next day, Proactive called back in minutes. Only 2 other companies returned my calls and did not seem interested in coming to give an estimate.Due to need, ratings and the way I was spoken to, I went with Proactive.He Ben H. & helper arrived promptly @ 9 am, came in to see the damages, gave estimate and promptly began working. Had to leave a couple times to go get brand parts (cuz band aids only work for a lil while-lol).He did all repairs needed and installed new vanity faucet, shower heads, garbage disposal (all I supplied) and new toilet supply valves and lines, and all other needed plumbing pieces needed for kitchen.I have many other repairs and such to tackle but, having multiple properties, legalities etc to deal with make necessity of importance deem order.But, I couldnt be happier now knowing I dont have to go outside every time I needed to use water to turn it on then back off again. And I will be a return customer soon!

He used a camera to help diagnose the problem in the drain pipe and then used a hydrojet to help open things up and improve the drainage significantly. Found water leak in front yard ,on our side of water meter box on a Saturday afternoon. The yard had been dug up in preparation for new landsacping so digging was easy. Found the leak about 12 to 18 inches down. Called Practive Plumbing and they scheduled appointment for 11:00 am Sunday. Arrived on time, accessed the situation and old main line material. Gave us 2 options, 1) replace the whole mail line; 2) repair the area of the main line. We went with the repair for $500.00. The leak was fixed within an hour. Plumber did a great job.

When weeks went buy with the restoration company and no one hooked up my washer and dryer and I was overwhelmed with laundry I called to ask if they could hook up my machines and again they were out quickly. They are incredibly responsive and dependable.

My father in law and I managed to break two separate items over about two weeks: the hose assembly connected to our water main, and the valve running into the wall behind the toilet. Both times, Kenneth from Proactive Plumbing came out (with his apprentices assistance for the first instance), fixed the issue quickly in a way that I trust will last, and gave me great advice on things I can do to ease issues in the future. Plumbing work is not cheap but Proactive Plumbing is upfront about the costs and neither fix was exorbitantly expensive.

I had an unexplained steady leak start coming up from my driveway on the holiday today. Out of like 7 plumbers I tried calling, Mike was the first to respond. It turned out the problem was with the irrigation system, which my landscaper will fix, but I was very happy with how Mike helped me. Ive lived in my house 10 years now. Havent had a lot of plumbing issues in that period so if asked I wouldnt say that I had a plumber. I do now. Catastrophic leak in my house. Mike spent probably at least 40 minutes just talking through all my concerns on how to approach this. Circumstances changed for me and they shifted their schedule to accommodate. On site technician helped me through this to the point Im comfortable and confident that weve properly addressed our issue (which flooded my entire downstairs). The damage has been done but Im far better configured and aware of what to look for so it doesnt happen again. Everything about them exudes quality (even their van is immaculately organized and shows they have it together), professionalism, not even remotely trying to up-sell you, no barrage of unwanted emails trying to sell me this or that service now that they have my email address. Their reviews are darn near perfect on google for good reason. Grateful for their service a water leak like weve experienced is very stressful, Im not stressed about the integrity of our water system now. As I said I now have a plumber Ill go to every time. 5 stars from me.

Ken and his team came out to evaluate a five part job including one very technical shower installation. They went above and beyond, actually unboxing and fully assembling an exposed thermostat shower fixture to establish that it could in fact in all likelihood replace a non-standard fixture from 20 years ago. They spent about 35 minutes on top of what otherwise wouldve been necessary for a typical assess and estimate, and were the first out of 4 Plumbers to take the time to see that the job which appeared to for others not doable, was in fact doable. The care and thoroughness was far beyond what I expected. I excepted the bid and they completed their service in a timely and very professional manner. Based upon their thoroughness and professionalism, I would definitely recommend that anyone looking for plumbing services give them an opportunity to bid.

I contacted this company because one of my two toilets wasn’t flushing. We set an appointment for the same day and Ben showed up between the hours I was given. He immediately began trying to unclog my toilet with an auger…. unfortunately that didn’t work so he had to remove my toilet and found roots inside the drain. Along the process he was letting me know what things cost and was very upfront and honest with everything that he had to do. They didn’t have a camera available that day so the next day he came back with Kenny and they sent a camera down and found a root ball that they were able to remove. I also opted for a Hydro flush/clean of my sewer line and then he installed a new toilet since mine had a hole in it. There was a lot involved with this and everybody was extremely friendly and helpful along the way. You always hope that plumbing problems won’t be this extensive but at least this group of men were very easy to work with. Thank you very much to Ben Kenny and Mike for helping us fix this problem. I will absolutely call Proactive Plumbing again if I have any plumbing concerns.

Lets be honest no one looks forward to calling a plumber as it usually means something is very wrong. No surprise I had a major block in a main line that caused some flooding in my house. I explained the situation to Jennifer on the phone and she got word to Mike and he was at my house literally less than two hours later and had our problem diagnosed and fixed faster than it is taking me to write this review! Great experience with Proactive Plumbing! Mike was very friendly from the outset and gave me some great advice on how to deal with my home warranty company. I dont where to begin to express my gratitude to Mike! It was Memorial Day (of course it was a holiday) when my emergency happened. I wont go into details; theres just too many. Long story short, I could not shut off the water that was gushing out from the main sprinkler line in my front yard. I called Mike and he answered right away. The only thing I could say is HELP, I cant shut off the water! He asked me to text him a couple pictures of the problem I was having, which was great because now he could see what was going on. He calmly walked me through each step over the phone on how to shut off the water from the main box at the street, as he put it lets stop the bleeding first and then we can fix the problem. He was at my house 20 minutes later and replaced a the shut off valve. He made it look so easy! Bleeding stopped and problem solved! This company is top notch! I did, and waited after I had sent him a couple of texts he texted Standby. He promptly texted me back with an apology, and that he was just finishing up. He said that he would stop by on his way home from work. So, I walked into the garage and – oh crummy buttons! Theres water leaking from the hot water heater.So, I did some online research. But, one company caught my eye in the reviews because people kept mentioning the guys who are the plumbers: Mike and Steve.
