Vlad is the right guy who has the right knowledge and skills, right equipments, and right crew for this specific job. Our home still have the old cast iron pipes and was having plumbing issues in the kitchen/garage that ended up flooding our house. I’m new to the epoxy lining thing so I gave this company a try. Vlad showed up and gave me a very detailed explanation about the issues and gave me a perfect solution. Fast forward 2 weeks, his team showed up and handled everything perfectly. Vlad assigned me Denis’ team with Sergei and the others, and let me tell you, these guys are the pros! They were always punctual, respectful and clean. I know this job gets really messy most of the time but that did not stop them from performing their job well. Thanks to Vlad and his team of experts that took care of all our plumbing issues. Price was reasonable as well for all the things they’ve done. Kudos to Vlad, Denis and his crew! Spasibo! (Спасибо)

Our sink faucet broke on Thanksgiving during the cleanup. Nobody else was available to come out untilMonday, but Almco was. Ryan arrived promptly and was extremely quick to assess the problem. After getting several estimates for lining my home’s cast iron drain pipes, I found Almco plumbing which provided me with a very comprehensive and fairly priced option. The cast iron drain pipes were all coated with epoxy and are working perfectly.The company owner is a very knowledgeable and nice individual. He personally stopped by to check the work done by his crew and offered to remedy any issues without any further charges.I definitely recommend this company.

So thankful they were available the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. We had a clogged kitchen drain that kept getting worse and us hosting Thanksgiving didn’t help, hence the clogged kitchen sink. Fabian came and fixed our problem. We had ended up having two separate issues and he broke down the problems and the cost so that we had choices. So that was nice. We ended up having him fix both issues. He showed us what he was doing through every step because my husband was interested in learning. Fabian was friendly, professional, and fast.

Had my kitchen sink stop draining late Friday and researched plumbers to see who might be available. I found a few that could come out Saturday and read their reviews. Almco had a great reputation so I got an estimate over the phone (something not everyone will do) which sounded reasonable so I chose them. Smart move! Fabian came to the rescue-he was here within the timeframe window and explained what his approach would be to take care of the clog. He was up front about pricing and what he would do. There were no scare tactics or upselling- just an honest explanation of the work to be done. Things were taken care of in a timely manner and the price was fair. And there was no up charge for coming out on a Saturday. Luckily for me it was not a complex repair. Fabian was easy to talk to, friendly and professional. I absolutely recommend Almco to anyone with plumbing problems and will use them in the future if I do.

Twice this year we had them out -- to clean sewer lines & spray them with epoxy and also to replace our old toilets. Both jobs were done well and we feel the price was fair.

These Guys are lifesavers. The city of San Diego installed a new meter here a few months ago and damaged both sides of the meter. Their valve on the city side was damaged and the pipe going from the meter to my house on my side buckled and ruptured due to the torque they applied to it. I was not sure who could handle fixing a job like this as the broken pipe was 5 feet down in my front yard. Andersons came here and gave me a price quote that almost knocked me unconscious. Then I decided to try Almco because they did some minor work inside my house a few years ago and I really liked them. They came over and fixed the whole thing in just around 3 hours time for an incredibly fair price. I am very grateful and now have a plumber for life.

I had my 1966 sewer cast iron pipes epoxy in Dec 2023 by Almco and they came out to provide complimentary follow up camera inspection July 2024 to ascertain integrity, etc. Chase and his able apprentice Josh were on time/very presentable in appearance/courteous/patient listen to my questions and provided the necessary camera work to determine everything was working well. These gentlemen were very professional and I strongly recommend Almco for your plumbing requirements. The competent office staff, Anna specifically, followed up with text and email for scheduling purposes.

Vlad and the team are professional and do good work. They replaced all the cast iron pipes in my house with ABS like material and replaced all the copper tubings with pex. The job was complicated but Vlad’s team was there to help in anyway to make sure it gets done. Pipe bursting is an amazing technology that replaces cast iron pipes without having to break all the cement in the house.

Almco Plumbing came to the rescue when I found out we had gas leak under the slab foundation on the line to our gas range. After talking to several plumbers about my options, all of which were quite expensive, I realized I needed a level of trust that might not matter as much for a smaller job. I had never used Almco before, but their Yelp reviews were solid, so I gave them a call. Elbert came by first (same day), and proceeded to assess the situation, climbed up into the attic to see where all the gas lines were placed, and then on the spot provided a few quotes. I had a lot of questions, which Elbert, Sergio and Vlad patiently answered. In the end there was a lot of risk for cost overruns with several of the options and I decided to have them cap off the leaking line so I could switch to an electric cooktop. The team at Almco was always on time, polite, thorough, and very knowledgable. I feel like they had my best interest in mind throughout the process. Bonus - they showed me how I could save money on permits and inspections by dealing with the permit and city inspector on my own. I would highly recommend Almco and would use them again without any reservations.By the way.... If you have a gas leak and you call the local utility to have them check it out, they will likely shut off the gas to your house and lock it that way, only to be turned back on after you get (and pay for) a permit for the repair, and a city inspector come by to check the work. Depending on whats going on you could be without heat, hot water, gas stove, gas dryer, etc. for several days, and the additional cost having the city involved is $300-700 depending on the situation. If you turn off the main gas line yourself if you suspect a leak, you can then call a plumber like Almco and have them work on it, saving a lot of aggravation and money paid to the city.

We really appreciate Almco and Chases willingness to accommodate a schedule from subzero delivery team. We had such a fantastic experience with Tony Silva from Almco plumbing! It was such a huge contrast with the two horrible experiences we had just a few months ago with two different plumbing companies.First, the online reservation system is a breeze. Weve used Almcos reservation system twice now, and I can confirm the entire appointment takes about 1 minute or less to setup, and they WILL come at the requested time and will not leave a person hanging. Our first time using them was during a weekend emergency - a huge water leak that of course had to happen during a weekend outside of business hours - and yet Almco plumbing was able to send us a technician right away.Prior to the appointment time we received a text message letting us know that a plumber was on their way, with a picture and contact info of the plumber for ease of identification.Tony Silva is a superstar. He is super knowledgeable and honest, and he genuinely cares about his customers and understands the urgency of identifying the source of a water leak, and resolving it ASAP. He ran a series of tests and took an extensive amount of photos and videos. We really appreciated him taking the time to explain his diagnosis and his thought process.He was also very clear on pricing and we would receive quotes from Almco straight to my email with absolutely zero delay with detailed explanations of different services and the associated cost.Tony is very good at his job and he will explain as much, or as little, as the person wants to hear! We personally thought it was fantastic that he explained so much, but Im sure if other people would prefer to know less, hed also be accommodating.Hes also great at giving options and weighing pros and cons (hes not like one of those plumbers who just try to talk you into doing all these expensive things for the sake of doing them).In our case, we ended up replacing half of the pipes in our home because after 2 leaks in a space of 4 months we couldnt put it off any longer. The quote was very reasonable and the repair went super fast. Tony and Tony 2 (Tonys son, who is also very knowledgeable and hardworking) got it done in less than 3 days, and they still replaced flanges in two of our toilets. They are both extremely hardworking people and we had such a wonderful experience working with them.Now we are not worried about having future water leaks because we know who to call! :)Look no further and request an appointment with Almco and Tony Silva right away!! I cannot say enough positive things about Almco! I met Paul by chance as he was the plumber sent by my home warranty company for a gas leak shortly after we bought our new home years ago. Paul showed up within 2 hours (the service window was 24 hrs) and fixed the problem immediately, which was expected. What kept me calling Paul/Almco for years now is that he checked on me and my family the next day. Since then we’ve trusted our home to Almco multiple times and they’ve always been super professional, expert level service and advice, and fair pricing. Overall, the guys at Almco did a good job replacing all the old cast iron pipes at my home, at a competitive price. The workers were very friendly and worked very hard to get the job done. I wasnt able to give 5 stars since Vlad was in a big hurry during the scheduled appointment to inspect my home (not very professional) and the scheduling team did not account for unforeseen challenges that took extra time. In this industry, issues arise often and should be planned for, imo. The guys had to finish the job quickly to get to the next job. This didnt leave them time to complete some final details of the job, which would have made the experience a lot better. This being said, I would recommend Almco to my friends/family.

I dont normally write reviews but I absolutely want to give Almco Plumbing and owner, Paul, specifically recognition. I was doing a complete renovation as a first time condo buyer. This process was very overwhelming to say the least. I did extensive research and met with at least 5 contractors for every specialty/project. Paul was by far the most organized, prepared, and knowledgeable. He came with copies of his business licenses upon meeting. Did an extensive review and took time to explain what needed to be completed. He quoted me a fair price and stayed true to that. Not only did Paul help me with plumbing, but he also guided me when I had trouble with other contractors or something didnt work out. When another contractor fell through, Paul made calls and helped me find honest, reliable replacements whos work I was also completely satisfied with. The plumbing work was completed spectacularly, but the customer service and willingness to go above and beyond the basic scope of plumbing is where this company shines!!! Danial was fantastic, did an inspection to check why I’ve been smelling mildew smell from my pumps. He did a thorough check, cleaned hair out of my pipes and even scoped out the vents from the roof with a camera. All for the cost of the diagnostic. He didn’t find anything to fix beyond that (thank goodness), but I feel like it was well worth the value of the diagnostic visit…which was the most competitive rate I got for a plumber visit. Will be using this company again.
