    Love Solar Service! Response was quick compared to other experiences that took months. Angel was quick to determine a solution. Heā€™s knowledgeable, and he took time to see if there were warranties still available on my existing solar system. An inverter had to be replaced after years of use and the work was done neatly and professionally - even in this heat. I didnt realize they offer cleaning of solar panels. Iā€™m on the schedule! Call Solar Service. They get the job done!

    I requested a service call on my previously installed system that had lost communications. Angel Casillas, the Electrician, came out, diagnosed the problem, performed some needed updates to the system, and got me communicating again with my system. I started getting information from earlier this month and has been going smoothly ever since.Angel also looked at my panels on my roof, took pictures, and verified that all of my hardware is still in place. He was very knowledgeable and very courteous with answering all of my questions.I would highly recommend Solar Service if have a need to have your system inspected, and troubleshot. Especially, if you fell into the same situation where my installers went out-of-business.Thank you for everything.

    Our electrician Jack was on time and communication about arrival time was perfect. When Jack arrived he not only repaired the concern, he was instructive about our system as well. In addition, he informed us about how Solar Service will be monitoring our system. This was very reassuring since the company that installed the system basically abandoned us for all service concerns.

    Francisco and the install team were wonderful! They communicated efficiently, and they were on time and friendly. He introduced himself and gave a brief explanation about what he was going to do, and how long it would take. Also, paying invoices was super easy! Highly recommend!

    Purchased a home w/ solar and come to find out it wasnt working. Tried troubleshooting it myself w/ no luck and ended up calling Solar Service. Customer representative on the phone was friendly and scheduled me for the following week as its the busy season for solar. Angel, our tech, was there at exactly the time he was projected to be.Let me just say that Angel was awesome and VERY knowledgeable!!We discussed what I had done and then I left him to it. Within a matter of maybe 15-20 min he had figured out the previous installer wired it wrong and its a common issue with inexperienced installers. He had already fixed it and everything! Hes even helping us get monitoring access for transfer from the previous owner.100% trust this company and Angel after this experience! If youre shopping for knowledgeable solar companies, definitely give Solar Service a call and request Angel! Thanks again man for getting us back up and running!     First time cleaning the solar panels ever. Took about an hour or so. Like how I was shown before and after pics of the cleaning. However the sides of the panels still remain dirty which is why Iā€™m rating three stars. The top of the panel looks new after cleaning. Yet the sides of the panels still look dirty. I thought everything would be cleaned during the visit.Addendum 9/8. They came by on Friday 9/6 to come and clean the sides of the solar panels. Great job over all. Now itā€™s 5 star review here.

The cleaning will boost perf about 10% ā€” hadnā€™t cleaned since installation 5 yrs ago. Onboard w/annual cleaning plan and will monitor to see if bi-annual is necessary.     After my wife and I had our solar system installed the company went out of business and we were stuck trying to get repairs. You guys came to the rescue and have been to the house twice with fantastic customer service. We had the solar panels clean the other day, and they look brand new and no mess was left behind. I think what is just as important, is the very great communication you have with your customers. You tell us when youā€™re coming, you arrive on time and you listen to any concerns. Thank you.

    I scheduled an appt to remove and reinstall my panels for a new roof and messed up the date of the removal which caused a huge issue with my roofer. Anyways, Jenna the front office manager was extremely professional and was able to fit me in. She really saved me as Iā€™m been going through a lot of stress recently. Anyways, what a great company and I avoided a $100 rescheduling fee from that roofer. Thereā€™s a reason this company is 5 star. I am very appreciative of this company. Thank you!

    On a scale of 1-5, Solar Service rates a 10. Last summer they assisted with warranty replacement of my inverter. Today, the panels were cleaned. With each visit, regardless of the reason for the call, the whole system is assessed for performance. I appreciate the focus on service vs sales and the qualifications of the personnel providing the service. I value the candid counsel when options are available. Office staff are also reassuringly knowledgeable about systems. I find the fees charged to be an exceptional value. I have no hesitation in enthusiastically recommending Solar Service!

    I had a fault message on my inverter and like so many others, the company that installed my solar system was long since gone. I thought Id try Solar Service to see if all the positive reviews were a sign of a well run, fair business. I agreed to the initial trip plus 2 hour troubleshooting charge - and wondered what Id get. WOW, Luis checked the inverter, and then the panels and found a wiring issue under a solar panel in the roof. He fixed it in the first trip in 90 minutes. He was professional and very personable. I couldnt happier with the service!

As a new home owner with solar I surprised that the solar company I decided to do business with had gone out of business and I didnā€™t know where to turn. I guess this is a normal occurrence with solar companies. Anyway, Iā€™m glad I found these guys to handle my current and future solar needs. Luis was GREAT!!! He came did his job, explained his work, and showed me pictures of what he did and my panels. I knew what I was going to pay with their standard per two hour rate.     Tried to get our installer (CamSolar) out to diag our nonfunctioning system. CamSolar made us prepay for a service call and said the service department will call to schedule a date for service. I have been waiting for 4 week and have not gotten a date. Found Solar Service over this past weekend sent in a request and was contacted on Monday and had my system diagnosed on Tuesday. Could not have asked for better service.Would not hesitate to recommend these guys.Angel was my tech and explained what he was doing/his thinking process.

    We had our system evaluated for the possibility of installing a battery backup.The electrician from Solar Service reviewed our system and electric bills and told us the cost would not be justified because our system is older and is not producing 100% of our electricity although it is performing well and our electric bill is low. We appreciated his honesty. While he was here he found that one of our panels was not working so we will have that one replaced. We contacted Solar Service a couple of years ago because our system quit producing and our original provider went out of business. They got our system running again and have given us exceptional service .

    Thank you, Jack Acuna at Texas Solar Service for your quick response to my request for my solar system upgrade and inspection. The former installer went out of business without notification to the client/owner. I was referred to Texas Solar Service by current monitoring company who advised me that my 2G system would be going down for monitoring only, but my panels would continue to do their job. Jack was up on my roof and looked at all 48 panels came down and gave me good news for my 8 year old system, with exception to a little dust collecting on the lower edge, that a cleaning could take care of as part of their maintenance program offered. I am very pleased with their service as of now, I am waiting on an update kit/parts to complete and look forward to many years of continued service, thanks again, Roberto Garza

    This afternoon, I received a call from Angel (Hector) to let me know he was at my house to check my solar panels and equipment. I assured Hector that he could go into the backyard. He started checking the equipment on the side of my house to make sure it was doing what it should be doing. Then Hector went onto the roof to check the panels. He showed me pictures of the panels before and after he washed them. He did an awesome job cleaning the solar panels.     I have used Solar Service on four occasions now. The technicians that arrived on this occasion conducted an inspection of wiring and cleaned my solar panels. He also checked the solar electrical box on side of my home. He sent me pictures of inspection items. I was impressed with his work and knowledge. I had this business come in to handle reconnecting my solar equipment when I had an emergency generator installed. The tech did a quick professional job. In May a tech came out and did the annual inspection. He noticed I had loose wiring. The problem has been repaired. I am glad I have found a company that can service my equipment.

    I was having a problem because one of my inverters was just putting out half of what it should. Jeremy arrived exactly at 12:00 the appointment time. He made some preliminary checks and we determined that there was one of the two solar arrays that feed the inverter wasnt putting out anything. Jeremy got up on the roof, checked the fuses which were good, and then found a burnt connector between two solar panels. He replaced the connector and all is good!He documented his work with pictures and the bill was under $300, which I thought was very reasonable for the two and a half hours spent and parts. The roof also required a 30 ft ladder to be able to get up there and he came equipped to do the job. I am very pleased with solar service!

    I had about given up on finding someone to service my solar system. The original installer doesnt answer the phone and everyone else I talked to didnt want to service a system they hadnt installed. Until I called Solar Service.     This is the second time I have used Solar Service to have our solar panels washed and the solar system inspected. Our system is not roof mounted, rather it is on a high carport-type structure. This did not prevent the technician from doing a wonderful job cleaning our 34 panels, even though the access was precarious.To make matters worse, we are on well water with super high mineral content, which without a good filter would leave heavy deposits on the panels. Solar Service was prepared for this challenge as well by bringing a Dutch water filter called NoCalc. WOW was that effective. Not only were my panels sparkling but the inspection of our system was very detailed. Even our backup storage system was reviewed and a detailed report provided including pictures. I noted that I was having some trouble with CPS giving us proper credit for our solar production. Now I have a leg to stand on with this detailed report showing my system running at its peak efficiency. Solar Service is also looking into getting my panels hooked up to a computer program so I can gauge and record our production.Thank you Solar Service.
