My husband and I are very happy with electrical work done by John Alestas and his team; Chris and Stacy….A 200 amp Siemens, 30 circuit panel with surge protector and generator plug were installed plus ran wire under sidewalk towards shed next to houseWhere outlets, light switch and shed lights were installed..They were very meticulous on how they did their work and I appreciate that as I could barely see where they had dug to run wire to the shed …..I appreciated that they went beyond their call of duty and they deserve a big raise/promotion 👏. John was also very patient with us in explaining process and I would like to thank him for giving us advice on purchase of a portable generator - that was very kind of him… I also told him that I chose him out of three bids because of his honesty … there was another bid that was lower but I prefer to pay a little bit more just knowing that we’re working with honest people… Thank you John, Chris, Stacy for your hard work😊

I called 5 different companies after our AC went out in the middle of the night, Hunter Service Group was the only company who responded. Although, we weren’t able to get seen until the early morning- the service was impeccable. Hunter Service group provided tracking, so I was able to see how far our technician was. They also provided a picture and bio, so I knew who was coming to our home which made me feel safe. Shannon was very friendly, knowledgeable and left no stone unturned. His service was a great representation of the company. In the future for any of our home needs- you’ve earned a returning customer.

I recently used Hunter Service Group and couldnt be more satisfied with their service. When I contacted them first thing in the morning, they promptly scheduled me for the same day given the urgency of my situation. Technician John arrived and quickly identified the electrical problem we were having. He prevented a bad situation from becoming much worse by recognizing the root cause very quickly. John took the initiative to contact the energy provider himself as the issue required their response, ensuring they prioritized our issue. He stayed until they arrived and made sure everything was fixed correctly, assisting to ensure it wouldnt happen again. We highly recommend Hunter Service Group and greatly appreciate everything John did to assist us. We will definitely do business with them in the future and hope to get John or another technician like him.

Professional. Excellent communication from front office to service techs. A 30-45 minute arrival notice was provided via text message and phone call. Service specialist/tech (Epheran), arrived on time, handshake, smile, and an introduction. Shoe covers at the ready and placed on prior to entry. He quickly and professionally went right to work with excellent listening skills and probing questions to uncover willingness to explore options. He came back to me in 20 minutes with three professionally produced and computer generated proposals that he explained in detail and forwarded via email. While the options are pricey and most like more than I’m willing to pay (Hunter is not inexpensive…good service, sound expertise rarely is) they delivered what I needed at no cost for the proposal. This is my third experience with (Colby) Hunter Team and I regard them as an EXEMPLARY SKILLED service company. Each service tech/skilled professional provided the utmost professionalism, expertise, and patience (while listening to my concerns and desires) Two of the three provided instant proposals and explanations. You can tell the Hunters take pride and are careful of who they hire and entrust with their brand. They have my highest recommendation.

John Alestas at Hunter Service Group was a really exceptional electrician and person. I was clearly nervous about what might be wrong with the electrical in my home, and was very vocal about my anxiety of something catching on fire. A lesser human being could have ripped me off for thousands of dollars easily, like stealing candy from a baby, knowing that I would pay whatever they said. But instead John came in, calmly and logically assessed the problem, and charged me for the actual problem and explained it very clearly. It still cost me over $300. But it was after hours on Friday night. And he arrived in like half an hour. John was very neatly presented, polite, and intelligent. I feel confident in his work. He appears to know what he is doing. He didn’t talk down to me either, which I appreciate. So I can recommend this company and John specifically .

Outstanding! Personable! Prompt! The Grinch stole my Christmas! The Hunter Group came to the rescue! Needless to say, the Grinch was so touched, that his heart changed. In short, I posted on yelp that my outdoor outlets shut off. The on-call electrician called and walked me through the process to reset the outlets, since they didnt have reset buttons, and I couldnt find the one outlet that controlled them. There it was, right before my eyes; I saw it once the electrician told me where it would be! There are still good people in the world! This meant a lot to me!

This last service was to install lights in a super dark closet and the finish product is better than I could have ever imagined. Patrick came the last call and he also was very helpful. They cleaned up everything when they finish as well. I am so happy to use Hunter. June 2024 - Today Hunter Service Group sent Brendan Ellis to do scheduled maintenance on all of my HVAC systems (we have 6 on the property). Brendan was punctual and even though there was a lot of work ahead of him he did not rush and paid close attention to each and every system. His communication skills are excellent and I welcome him back to continue to maintain our systems. Hunter Service Group never disappoints us no matter what the needs are.July 2024 - I started using Hunters services when all they provided was electrical. I am very pleased that they have expanded their services and that they have maintained their advanced level of professionalism while doing so. Many times companies tend to forget their customers as they grow, this is certainly NOT the case with Hunter Service Group.

I had a prior estimate from another company that I felt was too high so I wanted a second opinion. TLDR: Outlet blew and burnt up. Chris and John from Hunter Service Group took care of us really well, didnt try to blow smoke in my eyes and didnt try to scare me paying more than the wife and I were ready for. So trustworthy!An outlet blew all our electrical power and burnt out in our Master bedroom. No breakers flipped on our breaker panel. Hunter Service Group was actually the third or maybe even fourth electrician company i contacted. Other companies were adamantly saying they wouldnt replace the burnt outlet until all our breaker panels would be replaced. Quotes varied widely between $6k-$17k between bigger rival competitors to replace all the outlets, better breakers and all the panels, feeder lines, etc. Spent less than $180 for a new outlet device and all our power is back on in the bedroom. Amazing! Quotes for the breaker panel replacements inside and outside (which we do need eventually) were as much as $1k-$7k less for the same amount of stuff and would also require less downtime for the Hunter Service Group than other bigger competitors. They didnt pressure me into paying for all that work like others did. Other companies mentioned 3 days with no electric power to replace all the panels and breakers. Treated really well and felt like I was told the honest truth and didnt feel like just another sale or another homeowner that could be taken advantage of. Will definitely be calling Hunter Service Group for more electrical work in the future! :)

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Hunter Service Group and our electrician John Alestas. We had an emergency on Friday night and Hunter responded to an inquiry we made on yelp within minutes. They sent a professional bio of John and he touched base personally before he arrived. They were upfront about off hours pricing ($249 for the diagnostic) and I found it to be very reasonable. John spent hours at our house trying to figure out what was going on with our sparking breaker box and it was clear that the safety of my home and family was his top priority. He waited while I called CPS to come out and change a faulty wire. He was thorough with his diagnostic process and was exactly right with what he thought was going on. He even gave me his cell number to text him after CPS came to be sure everything was taken care of. He came back the next day to repair everything that had been damaged due to the faulty wire AND checked back on us a few days later. Hunter will be our go-to for anything we need for electrical work in the future.

My obsession with this company is real!!! They came out and switched out my current switches to smart switches! Who even knew I needed or wanted this until the Tech filled me in on all the benefits and I was blown away! I am a little old school so technical stuff isn’t my forte but I love it all the same! They did a free inspection while here and created a few estimates on a few things that can improve my home and make it more safe for my family! I feel so confident in making them my go to for all my electrical needs! The office staff was absolutely amazing as well and so easy to work with!!

Juan and David from Hunter Electircal Services we’re amazing! Honest, hard working, great communication, and great prices! Their quote came in WAY lower than one of their competitors that shall not be named. They fixed a bunch of electrical issues on my 35 year old house, installed a whole home surge protector, and installed a 220 outlet for my electric vehicle. Couldn’t be happier with the results and I highly recommend them.

Finally had my service done today. Being a holiday weekend I was hoping my 2-4 scheduled time slot would happen earlier. Sure enough John called at 1220pm to say he had finished earlier on other jobs and was ready to come. It was great, he expedited the job in about one hour, fifteen minutes. All while wearing a face mask in this heat put in 2 separate whole house surge protectors, inside/outside panels. Also replaced previously installed Security Lite w/motion detection to a dusk til dawn detection. Even helped make sure we did the warranty registration before he left. Excellent worker and customer service. Give them a try 😉

She took my information down and was able to fit me in their bust schedule for the following day. Juan Guiterrez was dispatched to my home and showed up right on time. He was also very courteous and professional as he explained everything he was doing. He quickly identified the problem and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Hired them to run Ethernet cable throughout the house to include outside for security cameras. The ones ran outside were not put into faceplates, the cable was left hanging, and the holes that were drilled for the cable was not sealed. There is one cable that was ran and terminated on one end, but was not terminated on the other end. But all the cable that was ran inside the house was ran really well and are all working. The employees were very professional, nice, and cleaned up very well after themselvesUPDATE: After writing a review, Hunter Electrical was very quick to contact me and schedule a fix. We hired Hunter Electric several months ago to do some electrical work to include outdoor lighting with receptacles, installing new smoke detecters throughout the house, lighting and outlets in our new shed and finally LED lighting in our garage which made a big difference in the brightness. Now for the review, I have worked with many contractors over the past 20 years due to my position, I can say Hunter Electric is by far the best company I have worked with. I will quickly give a negative response when one is due, however, Hunter Electric is exceptional in their service. Colby and his crew are not only highly professional, they treat you with respect and treat you as if you were part of the family. I cannot say enough great things about Colby, David, and Demetrio at Hunter Electrical. They are extremely professional, kind and caring. David called and asked if he could arrive early. We met at the house. He completed a difficult diagnosis on a misbehaving 3-way light circuit (bad wiring buried in the wall). He ran new wiring and corrected code issues (power run on undersized neutral!) and installed a new two switch set-up that allowed separate control of our inside garage and outside lights. Recommended replacement of two light fixtures in the garage (we didn’t bite on that deal despite the attractive price). Work was completed in a professional manner and he cleaned up the dust and work debris when he was finished. Professional, friendly and efficient service for a reasonable price. Based on David’s work, we will use again if the need arises.

Chris Carker performed a detailed safety and serviceability inspection explaining every aspect as he conducted the inspection. Middle of the night we lost power, ended up having to replace the main meter box. I had lost use of my AC’s, my well and just about everything else that I needed. Called HES at just about 6:30am thinking I would get an answering service. Was shocked when someone answered, turned out it was the owner. From that point on they took care of me, I never felt like My job wasn’t a priority to them. From the office staff to both service techs (Juan and David) these guys were awesome. I called Hunter to perform an upgrade of the outside and inside panels of my home. Both were not up to code and outdated. I previously called other companies and they were either charging too much or did not explain things well to me. Danny from Hunter showed up and started evaluating the work needed to be done. He was very thorough in inspecting the work needed to be done. This being a critical part of a home, it was important for me to get it done right. They kept me updated on the process as they worked with CPS to get all the work and permits approved. On the day the work was to be done, David and Colby showed up on schedule and they even helped me address a problem with some GCFIs while we waited for CPS. Everything went smooth and there were no concerns. They even grounded my AC unit as it wasn’t properly grounded. These guys went beyond what I asked them to do and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future electrical work.

Called yesterday and a tech was out this afternoon. Ronnie Blue was very informative and clear in all his comments. I bought this home with the Generac generator 2 months ago and couldn’t get anyone to tell me how it all was supposed to work. Ronnie came out and performed an analysis of the whole system, noting several issues. He gave me a quote to correct the issues and to perform a needed service on the motor. Ronnie had to stay to 7:30 get it all done. Which he did without complete. Couldn’t ask for a better tech.
