    For the past several months, we have been using AllGood Electric for our family’s needs. We are in an older home that has been neglected over the years and was in need of a lot of work. Brian was super helpful, punctual, and informative. He told us what work was a necessity and what work wasn’t as pressing. When the town came by to inspect the work done, they told me that they did an amazing job and they don’t usually see such care.I highly recommend them.

    Troy Allgood (Owner), Michael Lemon (Electrician) and the WHOLE Allgood Electric Staff were AMAZING! I had three things done to my house which Allgood Electric did which were: Installation of a Generator Mechanical Interlock and Main QO Breaker, Panel Interior Swap and Installation of a EATON Cutler Hammer Ultra Whole House Surge Protector.I first did a virtual consultation with Troy showing him what I wanted to get done to my home in which he gave me an estimate/recommendations based on my current home setup. I found that Allgoods prices were not only very competitive with the current market but they were able to start on the project right away. Other companies that I contacted advised me that due to the current demand of the market the earliest available consultation they had was 2-weeks out. Not only were other companies consultations so far out they also charged a consultation fee which Allgood did not.After talking with Troy and finalizing the estimate Michael was able to come out and complete the job. Michael did AMAZING work. He was very polite and professional. After the job was completed Michael gave me a quick rundown on how to use the system.I am VERY SATISIFIED with the quality of work and professionalism of this company from the Owner all the way down to the Electrician who came out to complete the job. I would DEFINITY recommended this company and will be using them again if I need any electrical work in the future. Thank you again for the GREAT WORK.     We had Allgood troubleshoot an inoperative ceiling light circuit. Troy Allgood took our call after normal business hours and set up our appointment for the next day.     Outstanding experience! We consistently use Allgood for our electrical needs. We were having some AC work done on our house and our electrical panels needed to be updated/relocated. Brian came out and gave us a reasonable quote and started the work the next day with Ronnie. Our AC company incorrectly wired the new unit and the transformer in the unit was damaged. Our AC company tried to blame it on Allgood; although, it was the AC companys fault (they admitted it). Troy responded to our call immediately and Brian handled the situation like a consummate professional. Great company to work with! Thanks Allgood!

    I have used Allgood Electric on three separate occasions. Communication with the technician (Brian) is excellent - he takes the time to explain what he has to do and why in a way I can understand - in my situation - corrections to existing wiring. I will not use any other electrical service provider.

    I needed an electrician for an issue in one of my bedrooms in the house that my skill level could not figure out. I had one light switch and power outlet that was not working. I could not figure out where the issue was located.I decided to give Allgood Electric a try with the issue. It was very easy and user friendly to schedule an appointment from Allgood Electric homepage. They even give you a few choices with quotes to select from for your appoint. The scheduling wizard was great because not only do you get an estimate, but it also allows you to pick the date and time slot you are looking for ALL online. This feature alone for Allgood Electric is top notch.David was the assigned technician and came first thing in the morning at the beginning of my estimated time slot. I received two calls before David showed up. I received one in the morning from an office clerk and one from David to let me know he was 30 minutes from the house. Those calls ahead really help to get you ready for their visit.David was very professional and friendly. He was quickly able to diagnose the issue. Once he diagnosed the issue he was able to get my electrical issue fixed on both my outlet and light switch. No one wishes for electrical issues in their home, but if I have another problem I am happily going to give Allgood Electric another call.

    Brian was our technician. Extensive electrical work done in an older home. He gave us same day estimate, made an appointment for the job, and arrived on time. They are reasonably priced and he did a great job. All work completed fast with attention to detail. He asked questions to assure work was done to customer preferences. I had to leave for work and they locked up. Easy payment system. Highly recommend!!

    The two men from AllGood Electric who came to our home on short notice today were very competent, professional and thorough.     They did a professional job, everything was nice and neat. Came on time gave me the estimate and then on approval went for the parts. My only issue is the cord that I specifically wanted to use they did not get that type of socket, which means I had to go out and buy a $200 replacement cord. They were shown the cord previously so this should not have been an issue. I would use Allgood again as they were efficient came quickly and did a wonderful clean install. They know their business.

    We were without electricity on one side of our kitchen and I did everything look at the breakers checked the GFI‘s all of the above and of course couldn’t use the TV, the coffee maker, dishwasher, etc. so it took me four days to finally find Electrician who was highly recommended and I did my research in the ratings and all good came up with excellent reviews. I called them they came out on the fifth day they had an opening And they were here and prompt time. Very very knowledgeable. Repaired the problem I would highly highly recommend.

    As the owner of a plumbing company in another state, I am very attuned to how technicians should interact with customers - how they greet customers, explain pricing, explain the problem/issue they are working on, etc. So I can honestly say, these guys were great!! They arrived early, greeted me politely with a handshake (I am a woman, not all guys do this!), listened as I explained, reviewed the problem and gave me a very fair price. They told me what to watch for moving forward, and even came back to the door after they left to remind us to lock the gate. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future!

    Great electricians, came out much faster than I expected, were responsive to my needs and fixed my outlet and installed a light fixture even though thats not what I had originally called about. The pricing was very reasonable and for fixing they outlet they werent even going to charge me for. They took care of the light fixture and asked how I wanted the timer and sensitivity set up and made sure I kept the warranty paperwork for the light.Will definitely be using this business again

The crew (Brian & Anthony) that provided the estimate also performed the electrical work. They were outstanding!     Brian and Anthony were extremely professional team to run two new outlets for new lights in dining room. They were on-time and considerate of our personal belongings. Brian clearly explained the process during the estimate and then again when they arrived for the work. There was a challenge that Brian found during the work and explained what needed to happen to make sure the lights were securely hanging. They measure multiple times to make sure the lights were evenly hung. Just a great job! Would highly recommend them to anyone else.

    Needed power outlet added. Called and made an appointment for estimate. Allgood was quick to respond and actually arrived (with permission) early. Gave me a reasonable estimate along with a plan to accomplish the job.Before long (about two hours) Ron and Manual were packing up, my job was complete, even with a couple of unforeseen hiccups, (this is older home and you never know what’s hiding behind those walls.)They were fast, efficient and worked well as a team.     We spent a lot of money on GE Monogram double ovens only for them to be delivered without the necessary equipment to plug them into the wall. Contacted Allgood and they gave me an appointment but was able to come out a day earlier and take care of the problem for a reasonable price. They will be my go to for electrical services from now on.

    I had Allgood out to swap out a few light fixtures that I needed changed in my home. The technician (Isaiah) was very friendly and let me know exactly what he would be doing when I showed him the fixtures and locations.     I had a situation (power had gone out twice in four days) that AllGood fully respected, and recognized as something that had to be assessed immediately so they came out within 45 minutes of scheduling (!) and immediately figured out what was wrong. I understand that a business must make money, and that the humans doing the work might enjoy the odd conversation, but I greatly appreciated the fact that the two technicians were polite, but were more concerned about focusing on the problem they had to fix. No wasted small talk, or sales BS - just a professional checklist of what was causing the problem, how they fixed it, and expectations on the situation moving forward. Just outstanding.

    I looked all over SA for a company that would install a fixture on a 19ft ceiling. Allgood Electric came to the rescue. Scheduling for the estimate and installation was timely. The team that installed arrived on time and found some issues with the previous installation. The corrected the issue and installed the fixture. They cleaned up after the install and made sure the house was left as they found it. Well done Allgood!!

    Quick to respond to my initial request for a call back. Arranged for an estimate the next day. Brian reported right on time, and after describing the job (taking down a current kitchen flush mount fixture and installing a newly purchased one), he gave me a reasonable quote, which I accepted as it was lower than what I had already been prepared to spend.     This was a really good experience. The oven and burners on my stove stopped working but the lights and clock still did. I did some research and realized this may be the breaker and not a problem with the stove.I called Allgood electric because they helped me years ago over the phone, no charge.They have an answering service on the weekends and I said it wasnt an emergency. They called back early on Monday and scheduled a two hour window to come out that worked with my schedule.They called me about an hour and a half before they were scheduled to arrive and were able to come out a bit earlier than planned, which worked out well. They were very transparent about the work to be done and did it quickly.The charge was very reasonable. Because he explained so clearly what he had done, what he had checked, and the repair he had made, I was left feeling that the electric panel and fuses were in good working order and that my home was safe!This is the way a repair contractor should work!

    Best electric service company Ive ever dealt with. The estimate process was quick and easy. Everything was done over the phone and email. Their price beat the other two companies by more than half. The installation and repair was quick and they even found another potential problem and fixed it without asking preventing a possible fire. I couldnt have asked for a better job done! I will use these guys as long as Im in San Antonio.

    We hired Allgood Electric for a complete lighting remodel. We replaced every recessed light and hanging fixture and fan in our home. Ron was our electrician and he and his crew did a great job. They worked clean, explained what they were doing and were friendly.     Jacob gave a quote for installing a 120V outlet in a new shed. He discussed how the project would be done and gave a written quote. Called the following day to confirm we wanted the job done. When he and an assistant showed up to do the work, they resurveyed the job and decided to go a shorter route with the conduit and wiring. Gave approval for the change and mentioned should take less materials and labor. Which it did. When the job was done, he said hed give 10% discount off the quoted parts/labor quote because it did indeed take less time & materials. Appreciated the consideration. However, had their valid discount coupon for 10% off labor for seniors or retired military (qualified on both counts). Asked for the 10% discount off labor and was told to use the coupon next time (note: coupon only good for first-time customers). It didnt amount to that much (about $60); however, it was the principle. They were professional and showed up on time.

    These guys are awesome. They know what they are doing. We highly recommend them.When we moved into our new home, we noticed right away each room was lacking in light especially at night. Even though our home is an open floor plan, each room was very dim and dark. And to make it worse, the ceiling fan lights in the family room and master bedroom are on remotes that get lost. The master bedroom remote stopped working properly so all we could control was the fan in the bedroom.We called and set up an appointment for a consultation. The office staff does a good job about getting back to you in a timely manner. Jacob came out and I went through the entire house with him, telling him all the items I need fixed. We delineated items to be fixed now and some to be fixed later. He does a very thorough job in making sure he understands what I am saying and takes the time to clear up any questions. He also does a good job in describing in detail what each job will entail so there are no surprises.On the first project, we had them install under-cabinet lights, place 7 LED recessed lights in the family room, wire our family room and master bedroom ceiling fan lights to switches in the wall and put switched outlets in the master bedroom for lamps, replace old recessed lights in the master bath with new LED recessed lights and installed a higher-efficiency humidity sensing fan. All of this is very time-consuming work which I felt the crew did in a very methodical and timely manner. When deciding placement of the new recessed lights, Jacob and the crew went over with me meticulously where we would want the lights to be. They came each day ready to work and they were VERY attentive to what they were doing. I saw how each member of the team took great care in what they did. Since there was a lot of cutting of drywall for the new recessed lights, which would need to later be repaired, they tried to limit the cutting to only what was necessary and even thought ahead to keep the pieces which were later used for the repairs. They wear shoe covers whenever they come into the house to help keep the floors clean. And they clean up at the end of each day.They are great to work with. For instance, I changed my mind on placement of the recessed lights midway through the project. They were gracious about accommodating my request. They really want to make sure the customer is happy with the end result. And I love how the lights are now.The ceiling fan lights were a tough job. It took a lot of engineering to get the fans and the lights to be switched to the wall switches. My husband and I were particular about the kind of switch we wanted and Jacob was tenacious in finding the exact switch we needed. He also figured out that we were using bulbs in our bedroom ceiling fan light with wattage above design specs which was likely why the remote transceiver was failing. Once fixed, and the correct bulbs put in, the fans work like they are brand new.What I enjoy is that whenever Jacob and the crew encountered an unforeseeable problem, they took the problem to me to solve it with my involvement. They communicated all issues and kept me apprised of the situation as it unfolded.The second job they did for me was to install a chandelier and sconces and placed switched outlets in the dining room and replaced a GFCI outside. Once again, their work was impeccable. My dining room absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t be happier.I have been very happy with the work these folks do. They charge a fair price for their work. They are professional, knowledgeable, honest, communicative, respectful, neat and organized and I will continue to use them for all my future electrical needs.

Many years ago, my husband did electrical work as a living. He tries to do our own electrical work but there was a timing issue and a “I am getting older & have a back issue” problem.     Brian was able to squeeze us into his schedule the same day we called in order to repair/ replace the incessantly beeping smoke alarms we dealt with over the weekend (our ears Thank you)!!! He was good about letting us know that the replaced alarms were both smoke & Carbon Monoxide detectors with a 10-year battery (so we don’t have to annually change the batteries).He also gave us an estimate to install 2 ceiling fan/light kits and a whole home surge protection system in 2 weeks (& thankfully our outside electric box has several open spots so the cost was reasonable)!!Definitely recommend & we are obviously using Allgood Electric service again!

    I contacted Allgood Electric to have fish tape routed from the outside of the house into an inner wall for fiber routing and to fix a three way switch that had been installed incorrectly. They were very on time and really efficient. Price was not necessarily cheap, but you pay for what you get I guess.
