Ive been very skeptical about getting Solar panels because of the bad reviews and the bad publicity I had heard in the past. I was also tried of paying CPS these ridiculous up charges each year.Lanereth Stapleton showed up one evening and started explaining to me the benefits of Solar power and how Solar Edge Pro can save me money on my energy each month, and it will increase the value of my home.The install job was very professional, and it was done a timely manner.I will be telling my friends how great a job Solar Edge Pro did on my house.

Our installers are safe, fast, accurate and on point when it comes to panel placements. Our electricians are very experienced, and make quick work of electrical walls to incorporate PV and battery systems for our clients. Robert Delgado was very professional accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend them to anyone interested in adding solar to their home.I’ve been working with Robert for the last couple of weeks and have been bothering him every day along with Houston awesome person ! They’re always so professional and courteous, offering different solutions to meet our needs. These guys are not in it for the money like some companies, they truly want to take care of you and will not pressure you in any way. I had gotten a few other bids from separate solar companies and Solar Edge Pros was by far the best price. Long story short, when I was ready to install my solar it turned out to be that my roof was not good. Im blessed I met these people. Others would have still put the solar panels and not say anything. Of course I was on a budget I couldn’t afford a roof at the time. I had 2 angels, Houston and mostly Robert help me pay for my-whole roof. Carlos the sales rep knocked on my door in early September promoting solar panel installation. Broke down the entire process and even crossed the numbers Id be saving between them and my original option for solar panels (freedom forever; highly advise against doing business with them); around 15k would be saved. Throughout the entire process Carlos and his team have answered all my questions and kept me informed of every step along the way, as well as helping me navigate the cancellation with the other solar company. My panels were just installed and are in the final stages of being connected to the cps project, but the entire process has been smooth sailing with this company. They answer my every question and inform me ahead of time what they need and what theyll handle on my behalf. 5/5 definitely recommend.UPDATE: Ive had the solar panels up and running for about a month now, and true to their word my cps bill has been drastically reduced. They also gave me a rebate check that covered a separate matter of a gutter installation. A pure pleasure working with them, would advise anyone whos interested in solar to go with this company.

My wife and I recently sat down and started the process of getting signed up with solar edge. We had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Robert Delgado. His knowledge on this service and his efforts to personalize a solar plan that worked best for us were above and beyond! He walked us through every step and made sure we were comfortable with the plan that suited us. Unfortunately my wife and I decided that this was not in our best interest due to being in the military and would most likely be moving soon. Mr. Robert Delgado is the only sales representative I have ever met that was both understanding and extremely helpful in discontinuing our service after we had begun the process. I will be reaching out to him directly once me and wife have found our forever home here in San Antonio!

He is very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain the solar panel process. He was always available to answer all of my questions and concerns. On top of that he was competitive and gave me the best price over all their competition. We ran into a couple of issues in the process, not at any fault of Alfredo or Solar Edge Pros, but they promptly resolved the issues and were even willing to absorb the extra costs to ensure the integrity of their work. I noticed we had issues with our solar inverter and the company that did the installation was out of business. I contacted the company that our inverter was from and they provided some helpful information to get our system up and running. I found Solar Edge Pros through the information that was provided by the inverter company. Upon contacting Solar Edge Pros, they were quick to respond and friendly and very helpful. They were able to secure a new inverter as ours was still under warranty and they swapped it out for us quickly. I was expecting a longer delay in getting our system back up and running, but they had it back up the day after they received the inverter. Robert and the rest of the people I dealt with were excellent in customer service and very helpful and knowledgeable on the system. Thanks to this company, we have a new monitoring team watching our system and a reliable company to call if there are any other issues.

I went through the ringer deciding on which company to choose to install my solar panels. I first went with Astrawatt Solar (nation-wide company HQd in Kansas City), but they took too long to initiate the process and lost my business. Afterwards I was approached by Ion Energy, and I managed to drive their quote down to the lowest I had seen from other local companies. The day I received their quote I signed with them.Soon after Solar Edge Pros approached me and gave me their best quote without any knowledge of my previous quotes, and they ended astoundingly close. After disclosing my quote from Ion Solar, my salesman Rive made a few phone calls and managed to undercut Ion by $2,000 and promised a $500 check after installation.Since there were multiple processes to plan and approve the solar project, I had conservative expectations on the timeline from quote to my system getting turned on. Exceeding my expectation, Solar Edge Pros managed to quote, inspect, plan, coordinate, approve, install and pass inspection in just under 30 days. Financing through Credit Human I will not have my first solar bill until six months after my system was turned on, plus I had $500 in my pocket. If your solar project can offset your electricity to where its basically your only electric bill, I would recommend installing solar.Lastly, CPS has posted their projected price increase in the coming years, meaning that the price that you are charged for electricity will only increase over time. If you are producing the majority of your electricity through solar than your bill will stay consistent with your solar loan, locked in for 25 years. Installing solar is a home improvement project that increases the value of your home, offsets your electricity bill, and shields you from increasing costs.

Solar Edges Pros A+It’s hard to do a review when everything came out perfect from start to finish.I would like to thank Alfredo my sales agent and all of the team from the installation crew, supervisors (Armando) and the office workers (Beatriz, Isabel, etc).Alfredo was very knowledgeable with the solar panel program. It took me over a week of me calling Alfredo and constantly asking additional questions, which he always had an answer. Never once did Alfredo pressure me in signing on the contract. He was always polite and easy going with me, so in my opinion, he’s the best salesman ever.After doing my online research, getting other estimates, and looking on the BBB website, we decided to sign the contract. We are glad we did because Alfredo was able to match the other company estimate and gave us a military discount as well.The process and timeline was exactly what Alfredo said it would be. We signed our contract on 31AUG2022 and by 15NOV2022 our solar panels were finally turned on by CPS.Lastly, we got a transfer switched installed as well just in the event of a power outage, we can use our generator to have power in the house.So, if you’re looking for a solar company, stop looking and go with Solar Edge Pros they are very focused on the customer and always eager to help out. We have wanted solar panels for years! Weve talked to other companies, and it never felt like they knew what they were talking about and felt sketchy until we met Solar Edge Pros. They made the process so simple. They showed up on time, were incredibly respectful, and the workers were great. They exceeded our expectations. Our house wasnt in the best location for solar on our roof, so they built us an elevated ground mount. They fit it in nicely at a high elevation to get the most sun around our beautiful tree canopies. They took care of the HOA approval and the CPS rebate, making it super easy for us. The owner even came out and gave us the idea of creating a shed underneath the solar panels. It was reasonably priced, and now not only do we have solar panels, but my husband also has a large workshop with electricity. We did have an issue with a panel that didnt work well, and they immediately came out and replaced it. We trust them, and if you are thinking about getting solar, this company will do you right.

The entire team from Solar Edge Pros is awesome. Alfredo in Sales did a great job educating me on the different options and the pros and cons of each. No pressure approach allowed me to choose the right solution and panels that fit my power needs. It took a little longer than I had hoped, but that was more on the power provider and not Solar Edge Pros which kept me updated through the entire process. The bottom-line is solar energy is not for everyone. We did extensive research with different companies and weighed the costs and benefits before we committed to the purchase. With that said, we decided to go with Solar Edge Pros for simple but important reasons:1. EDUCATION. Our sales rep, Ron T., and sales director, Huston O., focused on education first. They wanted to ensure we understood what a home solar energy system is and is not. They also covered the current market technologies and their pros and cons. It is a major investment so we asked a lot of questions and even asked the same questions ten different Ways. Ron and Huston were very patient with us and had answers for all our questions. They reminded us of the 30% federal tax credit (not rebate) in effect from 2022 to 2032. They even covered financing options through their partner creditors, but we chose to go with our own method of payment.2. GO LOCAL. Solar Edge Pros is a local company with over 18 years of experience in the greater San Antonio area. They understand the inner workings of approval requirements through established relationships with authorities involved with permits and final system commissioning. They operate locally at a physical location in San Antonio so we can visit them if we ever need to. Since they are a private and local company, their priority is to take care of their customers unlike corporate providers who must satisfy their shareholders and corporate profit margins first. Reputation is everything to local companies.3. NO SUBS. They do not subcontract their work out to other installers which helps to keep costs down to a reasonable minimum. We only had to work with one company which simplifies accountability.4. SCALABILITY. They offer the ability to add single panels at a time to meet our future needs. Some other companies we spoke with required we add a minimum number of 4-10 panels and will not install single panels at a time as needed.5. CUSTOMER-FOCUSED. They are very customer-focused and efficient. Ron T. and Huston O. did an outstanding job to continuously answer our questions and concerns throughout the process. They worked with us when we wanted to add modifications to the system design and installation, and they continue to maintain communications post-installation and commissioning.-- The staff were also great to work with. Isabel A. and Bea G. worked behind the scenes on scheduling , project updates, and quickly getting our permit and engineering design approval from the City and CPS Energy. Approvals were very fast, but we ran into some slowdowns with our HOA. The HOA process is ultimately our responsibility to push and request statuses so we could not fault Solar Edge Pros for that.-- At system commissioning, Ruben R. provided detailed instructions for the app to monitor production and system operations. He also covered the customer care service line should we encounter any errors or issues with the system.Overall, our project experience has been very positive. We know there are other good local companies in the area, but we are very happy we went with Solar Edge Pros. We will be recommending them to our friends and neighbors.

We had some damage from a storm and had a leak in our roof. Our roofing company contracted Solar Edge Pros to come out and remove a handful of panels so they could make the repairs to the roof, then come back out and reinstall them. Ruben Rodriguez from SEP showed up exactly when they told us he would be here. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He removed the panels to give access to the roofers, and came back promptly the next morning to reinstall the panels. He gave me a quick run down of our system and gave me some recommendations on where we can make our system more efficient and easier to monitor. Really appreciate his insight.

Solar Edge Pros has all the right characteristics I was looking for AND the independent reviews of the company were refreshingly void of the usual complaints like, they never return my calls, the dont show up for appointments, once they make the sale they dont communicate,....etc. Additionally, Alfredo Vazquez made such a clear presentation that was Educational not pressing to buy. Great company. Received 4 different quotes from other business and they were able to provide the best offset and value. There are a bunch of solar companies out there but these guys do what they say they will. The whole process took maybe 4 weeks from HOA submittal all the way to install which was way faster than anyone else, like 2 or 3 months faster. Alfredo had great communication and was always available to answer my questions. Would 100% recommend them to anyone.

I have researching solar panels for the last couple of years now but not one company had really stood out to me before. My dad had actually recommended solar edge pros since he had just gotten his house done. I was skeptical at first since I hadnt had much luck in the past getting quotes but these guys were different. From the first time speaking with them they were quick and efficient in trying to understand what we wanted and the end goals we were hoping for. The entire process from getting a quote, all the way to getting the ball rolling on installation was a breeze. The whole process took a little less than a month which was amazing that we got the permits and approvals from our HOA so quickly. Installation took about 4 hours total which was insane considering the summer heat was brutal and its fairly simple to navigate on the user side. The thing that I absolutely love is that there is an app they use to monitor production and troubleshoot if the panels are not working which is a lifesaver. I would recommend these guys to anyone in the market for solar panels. Keep up the good work guys!

He contacted the manufacturer and found out the inverter was under warranty and had a new inverter shipped that day. We had wanted to do something to avoid the real problems of losing power for days off and on like we experienced in February 2021. After looking into small solar set ups, natural gas generators, etc. we decided to talk to a solar panel installation company. Im so thankful we contacted Solar Edge Pros, a local company that really goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied. They sent out a sales rep, Brian, who patiently walked us through the process of determining the number of panels wed need etc. He was a pleasure to work with. We never felt pressured to buy anything and we took our time making the decision on investing in solar energy. We ended up also getting batteries because the company was honest in telling us that we had been given incorrect information on the inverters. Because of this they gave us a lower cost for those batteries. I doubt if you can find a more honest solar installation company than Solar Edge Pros anywhere! Solar Edge Pros completed installation and our system went online in April 2022, and after a few adjustments it has worked perfectly. Our neighborhood had lost power one day for about 9 hours, just days after our system was up and running. I never even knew it because the only thing I could see that indicated that the power went out was the blinking numbers on the clock on my electric stove. Someone on our street called me to see if our power was out and I was surprised to learn that no one in our neighborhood had power. Everything kept working at our house including our air conditioner. As soon as the utility company went out, our system kicked in without me having to do a thing.Solar Edge Pros has stood behind their products and services. Even when our air conditioner went out recently because it was no longer getting power from the system, Solar Edge Pros sent us Armando, who fixed the problem easily even though the problem wasnt due to the solar system. Everyone we have worked with at Solar Edge Pros has been highly trained and responsive and we appreciate the support we have been given by Alfredo and all the other employees at this great company.
