Alvin from Serieux Plumbing has come to my house twice in the last year and both times he has been nothing but professional and very friendly. What I like about Alvin is that he will take his time to explain the work and all the options you may have. He never tried to sell me anything unnecessary and his rates are fair. I highly recommend Alvin and Serieux Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Alnvinus did a fantastic job repairing my leak. The first plumbing service told me I had to buy a new $750 faucet, but Alvinus told me where to find the product code. I used that to learn that I had a warranty on the leaking line and was sent the correct part, which saved me a lot of money. Alvinus was able to get my kitchen faucet working quickly and we had a pleasant conversation afterwards. I highly recommend him.

For all projects whether a full bathroom remodel to a small sink issue we always call on Alvin and Stephanie at Serieux Plumbing. They have always been professional and kind, ALWAYS on time and very transparent on costs. If something is broken, Alvin takes the time to not only explain to you the issue and then gives you his recommendation to fix along with costs and options depending on the problem. Same with a new project, like a recent bathroom remodel, takes the time to walk you through his recommendations and any options that could be available.We always go with his recommendation and are always pleased with the results and the cost. Plumbing is expensive and Alvin knows that and really works with you as a customer on how best to accomplish what your need is. Alvin is the best plumber Ive ever dealt with. I called him several years ago for a water hammer situation involving my sprinkler system that was driving me nuts, one even the landscaping crew couldnt figure out. He worked the full day, nonstop, and finally came up with the solution-- its worked well ever since. Also did first-rate work on my bathroom sinks and toilet. He never uses second-rate parts or tries to talk you into anything you dont need, and prices are very reasonable. I would recommend him for any plumbing problem you have, no matter the size. Highest recommendation.

I had a water leak under the sink and couldnt identify the source. Since I purchased the house 3 years ago, Ive had a disposal installed and a friend do some minor adjustments -- the leak seemed to get worse not better.Alvin came out, assessed the situation, and identified the issue. He not only gave a hourly estimate in advance, he estimated the time it usually takes to complete the job. He came the same day -- lucky for me because he just finished a big job and had time. When the job was finished, he offered a lower price based on the job rather than an hourly rate. How great is that? Receipt was even in my inbox before he left the house :-)Alvin was .... excellent! He was down to earth, professional, exceptionally skilled giving tips and education and simply pleasant. He is clearly experienced old school, doing things right the first time. His prices were fair -- there was no up-selling. I will definitely keep his card handy for any future needs.I am so happy and pleased -- thank you!

Alvin called and arrived on time to provide a quote to install a bathtub. On the day of the job, he called to say he was on the way and ARRIVED ON TIME! We bought our new house and heard a noise that sounded like it came from the water heater. Our big-name HVAC/plumbing/etc company suggested that the expansion tank had failed and recommended replacing it. We knew the heater had just been installed earlier that year by the previous owner, so we were suspicious. We found a label for Serieux Plumbing on the water heater and called them.Alvin came out to take a look, and he ended up walking us through not only the water heater (confirming the pressure tank was fine), but took us on a tour of the house explaining every job theyd performed there for the prior owners. He taught us about water heater maintenance, how our landscaping was plumbed, and a bunch of other things we didnt know. He didnt even charge for this visit, since he didnt perform any repairs.Alvin is a fantastic guy and well always call him whenever we need a plumber. Hes honest, trustworthy and willing to explain what hes doing and give you options.

I moved to Sacramento 6 months ago after purchasing my property.I needed a plumber so I called several, and Alvin called back right away while other plumbers failed to return my calls in a timely manner. Alvin is very professional, personable, knowledgeable, and fair priced. He really knows his craft and it shows. He never tries to up-sell and, educates you on how to save money by maybe doing some things yourself.
