We have been very happy with the heating / AC and windows installation. Everyone with the agency has been very knowledgeable and professional! Brendan went the extra mile to help us with adjusting and setting a schedule on the new thermostat. He asked his boss for additional training to assist us.We felt that the process to get the needed services was a little bit different that what we are used to. The number of appointments was a bit overwhelming, but made sense, once they explained reasons. Jaime was very prompt in returning phone inquiries. Cashius was great at troubleshooting our specific heating/AC needs. Gabby was awesome and patient with our scheduling challenges and thermostat programming.Thanks American Home Service. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time working with Jamie and most of the American Home (Energy Savers) crew here in Sacramento. Project started October 2023 and ended this month (February 2024) with minimal interruptions due to the Holidays & severe weather conditions. The crew are mostly reliant, hardworking & very respectful during and after each project. The payment plan is very reasonable which allow us to pay over a 3 year period with 0% interest. We would definitely recommend their services to anyone who has home/property maintenance needs.

Keith & Dallas were honest, professional and respectful.They made sure we had some air while we waited for our install and arranged for Dallas to drop a window unit off at our house on his way home from work.Thanks to these two our install was moved up, which was amazing since our air went out the week before the really hot week.The installers were so fast. We were supposed to be a 2 day install and it took them half of a day to get us up and running.Gabby in the office was very helpful in getting all the inspections done.

We just had a complete drought tolerant landscape in the front yard. It was much needed because I was tired of mowing weeds. The sales team kicked it off with a short and sweet presentation. I’ve done their work for years and I know all the tricks; nothing slick was attempted. Their contractor stole the show though. I say contractor, but they may be employees for all I know. The ones who completed the work is whom I’m referring to (Romero, Michael, crew). We’ve done a lot home improvement recently and have had the dreaded experience of bad contractors. The men this time explained the layout clearly, showed up on time and worked HARD. They were nothing but professional, even in record hot temperatures. When you jump into a big/important project like complete front yard landscaping, there are anxieties. I’m so glad we went with this company.

He advised me my roof did not need to be replaced and just needed some minor details done that I am able to do myself. Im happy to see good honest people and companies are still around. It was a pleasure working with Dallas, he is friendly, polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. With his expertise I replaced my electrical panel, and installation in the attic. Jason, did an excellent job scheduling both projects. He kept me informed every step of the way from the time the installers would arrive and what they are going to do. The work men were always on time and did a great job. I only had one issue because the electrical panel was the wrong size so it took an extra day which meant no electricity for another day. I could tell Jason was very upset. He compensated me for the inconvenience, he was more than fair. I would definitely recommend American home energy savers! They are a top-notch company!

I just had a new water heater installed and the process was so easy. First Brandon came to my home to inspect my old one and confirmed it was time for a new one. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. The following week I met with Keith on financing and he was great in showing me all my options. He listened to my questions and answered them completely. We set up the financing that day which was super simple. He had my install appointment confirmed that day. I had Ben call a few days later confirming the appointment and if I had any questions. A couple of days before my appointment Jason called to confirm the arrival time. The install went great. Very professional men had it installed in about 2 hours. Michael the electrician came next and was great. He had thought he was going to have to remove my particle board I had up so he could get to my electrical panel which was something neither of us wanted. He put his thinking cap up and found a way to get it done without having to do that. I was very happy. Now today Brandon returned to inspect the job and take pictures of the new heater. I highly recommend American Home Energy Savers. Everyone I spoke to was so nice and know their stuff. It was such an easy process and now I have a very reliable water heater. I definitely will use them again when I need home work done.

Jamie is great! AMES put in a new HVAC when we first bought our home that didnt have one. The city inspector told us that our unit and ductwork were the best he had seen. We chose to have ours serviced twice a year and every worker that has come since has been respectful, attentive and detail oriented. We needed a repair on our roof and new gutters since the last winds in Sacramento and the price is very good and I feel confident that the work will be done to the best professional standards. I will call Jamie when we are ready for our next project.

American Home Energy Savers is an excellent company to work with, and I am grateful to them for making extensive energy upgrades to my home that will be good for the environment and good for lowering my energy costs. They communicated a detailed scope of work and the financing options for the project very clearly; they are knowledgeable about the rebates and the tax credits homeowners are eligible to receive; and the loans they provide access to have generous terms at low interest rates. Even better, they handle all the documentation associated with the project. The people who work for the company kept their appointment times with no delays; they were efficient and expert in their areas of specialty; they left the work site completely cleaned up; and they were as kind and conscientious as they were professional. They are, without question, the best contractors with whom I have worked in 23 years of home ownership, and I will retain their services for future projects.

We had our home thoroughly inspected (for free) initially. He went in crawl/attic spaces and gave what felt like really honest feedback. Then we met with a salesperson. We never felt pressured to buy, in fact, he was honest about the cost vs benefit of some of the repairs we were considering. We ended up getting insultation and roof replaced. We got it done right before an insane heat wave and WOW did we notice a difference. It wasnt cheap (over $25k) but it has given us great peace of mind and made a noticeable difference in the air temp in our house. I feel like their prices were very fair considering the whole experience. If anything, the rebates saved us a ton and we still received high quality customer service and work. Also, they had multiple financing options, so the cost didnt clean us out.Every single person we interacted with, from the inspector to the folks doing the install, was nice, pleasant and professional. They listened to us and it seemed like there was great communication between all of the staff as well. We would recommend this company whole heartedly.

We had an outstanding experience with this company. We had a new roof, new gutters with guards and dry rot repair done on our home. From start to finish the representatives were professional, knowledgeable of their products and services that they offer and quality work completed. John did the initial inspection was very knowledgeable and friendly, Pablo came out to go over the inspection and to go over the roofing and materials required and all the different options, as well as the financing he was professional, friendly and made the process very easy from start to finish. The crew who did all the work were also knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. We are very happy with this company would highly recommend them if you are looking to do improvements to your home.

They were very easy to talk through the processes with. They were flexible with my needs as a customer part way through a general renovation of a 1920’s home. The electrical rewire was a lot of work and so my thanks go to Dave who completed a lot of the work and was communicative through the process. I would and have recommended the group to others. Overall stellar job, couldn’t ask for more from a contracting company.

Jamie and everyone I had contact with at American Home Energy Savers were fantastic. They are professional, well organized and very knowledgeable. They removed and upgraded my electrical panel, installed new 220 electrical outlets, removed and replaced old gas water heater with new electric heat pump water heater, installed new 3 and 1/2 ton heating and air conditioning unit on the roof, ran all new ductwork in the Attic and special ductwork in the garage to a new room addition, repaired water damaged sheetrock and dry rotted studs, insulated wall, removed gas wall furnace and two wall AC units and patched drywall, patch the stucco on the exterior walls where the AC units were removed. The different crews that were sent out were all very professional and good people and did excellent work. I am totally satisfied with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone. Shout out to Jamie the estimator, Ben the coordinator, Andy the stucco man, Andre the AC technician and all of those who work for American Home Energy Savers!

We knew the work needed to be done because of how deteriorated the water heater and furnace were and how high our energy bills were. Our home warranty company had already told us that they basically weren’t going to replace anything until they blew up, but we were worried about how we could afford to replace everything.Jaime worked with us on the price, gave us options for financing, even got us a good chunk of rebates, and it all cost pretty much just as much as it would have if we found a random low cost handyman who wouldn’t have necessarily done as good of a job or provided a warranty. Their team came out to do the work as soon as all the paperwork was signed. They were fast, friendly, and made sure to check in with us about what they were doing. I highly recommend them if you need to upgrade your home. Better safe then sorry and risk a house explosion from a bad water heater or furnace, or crazy electric bills from an old AC unit.

I received an excellent customer service by Jaime Schultz and Celeste. I lost my hot water during the Thanksgiving weekend. On Saturday, I called American Home Energy Services, and Celeste who was very pleasant and understanding during our phone conversation stated that someone would called me back. Within 5 minutes I got a call from Jaime. He was very pleasant, very patient with me, and explained step by step what I needed to do to troubleshoot the furnace. I took a long time, and Jaime never complained and waited for me to understand the process of the water heater. I was able to have hot water again thanks to Jaime. The next day, I received a text from Jamie to make sure that I had hot water in the house. Not only Jaime made sure to help me in getting the hot water back, but he also followed up the next day to make sure that everything was okay. Jaime and Celeste are an asset for your company, and I hope someone in management recognize these two employees for their work ethics, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Awesome company and awesome employees! A representative cane to my door and after a really bad experience with another company’s cold calls (still on-going for over two years now) I was really hesitant to another business selling their services. But he was super nice and guaranteed that if I didn’t want the service after the other representatives came then they would not cold call be into oblivion lol. I can’t remember his name but he was super nice.I should add, that at this time I had Ben about two year without heat. I have a dual unit that was REALLY old and they didn’t make the fluid or whatever it’s called for my unit anymore and I just don’t like process of shopping around. Jaime and Wyatt came a couple days and they were both very friendly and funny! I got my heating and air unit replaced as well as the insulation and ductwork and the roof.Jaime felt so sorry for me not having heating and air that it was scheduled to be installed within the next day! I was really surprised! They heating and air guys were very professional and worked fast and CLEAN. They picked up as they went and they were done in ONE day. The installer made sure to walk through and make sure everything was right and asked me to start the system there to make sure there weren’t any issues.Insulation for the attic came next, maybe about a week or so after the heating and air guys, they worked quickly and diligently and clean as well. Making sure they laid plastic down on the floors. They were also done within the day.Last came the roof, same as the other two. It’s took them a couple of days but they were here early and took normal breaks (as with the other crews) and got the job finished. I voiced concerns about the drainpipe right outside of my bedroom window and the foreman, put a sponge in it to decrease the noise. Super nice.Between each job someone came to sign off in the work. After the heating and air and insulation, someone came to test the efficiency of air being distributed throughout the house. After the roof, it was signed off by the county of Sac.Then the first guy came back to look at everything again!It was a really awesome experience! Jaime then called after everything was complete to make sure, I had the paperwork needed to make sure my mortgage company gets the information they need.I would definitely recommend this company to anyone seeking to makes some updates to their home!

I had my roof replaced using American Home Energy Savers. They did an amazing job! I was skeptical at first because I didn’t want to use equity from my house to do the project but I got quotes from several different companies and if I paid cash I would be saving about $3000 versus making $100 payments a month for it and if I sell my house I can negotiate for the new owners to pay for some or all of the rest of the balance owed. It’s a win win situation for everyone. Highly recommend if you need a new roof.

Our salesperson Jaime really knew his stiff and was able explain the operation of today’s new systems better than two of their competitors that we also spoke to. Six months after installation we realized one room still was not cooling quite as well as the rest of the house. I originally contacted them to have a whole-house fan installed. They gave a bid for that, but upon Jaime inspecting our current system, he identified that our precious HVAC guy:(1) didnt size the supply ducts correctly for the furnace, so a lot more treated air was being produced than was even being delivered to the rooms... thereby creating a vacuum that was decreasing efficiency for the whole system(2) didnt install a return anywhere on the second floor, so literally none of the hot air had anywhere to escape to. I remember we used to walk up the stairs into the most oppressive heat especially on any days over 95°(3) didnt have the air intake on the furnace itself correctly configuredJaimes plan to make the HVAC better addressed all these things -- and yes we also added the whole-house fan and an attic fan. I wasnt initially planning on getting into such a big job, but as soon as I understood all these issues, it made sense to fix the system as a whole and not just stick on bandaids here and there.The 3-man crew got it all done in 1 day. They were on time, worked hard, took a short lunch break and then walked away from a finished job. They laid down dropcloths. They put up protective plastic to minimize dirt. They vacuumed when they left. We still had to clean everything afterwards but honestly it would have been so much worse if they hadnt tried as hard as they did! The grates and switch they added were all perfectly sized so no additional drywall repair is needed.The result of all that work is amazing. Creating a return so all the hot air can escape the second floor and enter the HVAC system matters A LOT! Being able to cool down the roof every night matters A LOT. Being able to pull in cool air with the house fan matters A LOT. Resizing the ducts so the air that is heated or cooled actually reaches the rooms matters A LOT. Our quality of sleep is already improved and our summer A/C bills will have to go down.This job wasnt cheap but it was competent, very professional, no cancelations or rescheduled appointments and done fast. I would highly recommend them if you are done with cheap bandaids that left you with a mess.

In early October of this year our AC stopped working, and within one week of that, a pipe burst underground, next to our garage. We had three companies give us an estimate for the AC, and one (different company) come out for the pipe. I can’t tell you how stressful this was, facing how much money we were about to spend. Then, we met Jamie Schultz from American Home Energy Savers. Jamie has an energy about him that immediately put us at ease.We had learned with the first and second estimates (different companies) that it wasn’t just our AC unit, but our entire duct system that needed to be replaced. Additionally, the plumber that came out to fix the pipe had quoted us $6500. Jamie was also able to fix the pipe, and did it for $2000. Jamie is incredibly knowledgeable about where a person can save money. We ended up replacing our entire HVAC system, with extensive SMUD rebates. He took care of all of the paperwork. Overall, what had been incredibly stressful, was really an easy process.The work is now done in our house; it took about two days to complete. Here is the reason I decided to sit down and write this review now. I was cleaning my kitchen tonight and looked at the inhalers and aero chamber that always sit on the counter. I realized we hadn’t used it in the house in over a month…ever since the HVAC replacement, and actually put it away in the bathroom. One of the things we really stressed with Jamie is that if we were going to do this, we wanted it to benefit our daughter, who has asthma. Jamie felt that with the right duct & filtration system her breathing might improve…and it really has! We just went and visited family over Christmas and she was right back to coughing and clearing her throat. She came home & now she’s fine. I can’t believe its winter and she hasn’t had to go to the doctor at all!This was a big deal for us. This is our first home and our first real “homeowner” problem. We want to thank American Home Energy Savers for the excellent work they did on our house. They really listened to what we wanted. They replaced the hot water heater and put a cute door on it. They removed old wall heaters and wall air conditioner’s. They put up new sheet rock and textured it to match the other walls. They installed our new electrical panel for our new central air and heating system. It works great. They were friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond what we expected. My parents asked I leave this review for them. They were very impressed with how Matt conducted himself at their home. He was professional and well mannered. Their furnace is very old and has been worked on several times. What they liked so much was his understanding that they are operating on a fixed income and he gave they a couple of options to choose from with the goal of preventing larger repairs from being needed. Id like to thank you as well for taking good care of them. There have been a couple situations where sales people took advantage of the situation.
