    My hot water heater blew up while I was traveling during the Christmas holiday. Platero Parada Plumbing is a tried and trusted business that came in and quickly replaced it, giving me hot running water and making me look like a hero. They even added an expansion tank in a small tight space, that would make the average person feel claustrophobic. Sam and his partner are true professionals, conscious about keeping the Condo clean, tested the faucets for air pockets, and gave us hot running water after a few hours of hard dedicated work. Thank you for a great job, guys. You saved us.

    Looked around Sacramento for a plumber to help with drainage issues and found Platero Parada Plumbing. After working with them on this project, will definitely call on them in the future!Sam was quick to respond and communicative every step of the way. Platero Parada Plumbing came out to look at our drainage issue and as they worked, they found more problems that would be costly to us in the future. We were shown pictures of the state of the line to the sewer and the pipes underneath the home. This wasnt a high pressured upsell, it was clear Sam had our best interests in mind.He was quick to make changes to the original estimates and scoped out two or more weeks to do all the work (replace pipes in the crawlspace and the line out to the sewer). They finished in a much faster time frame and I was impressed, even handling the permits and scheduling the inspections in a timely fashion.The work was well executed and they took great care in how they did the job. Holes under the sink were re-patched, the yard was re-filled and seeded. Sam also gave us updates all along the way and accommodating as we were offsite during the project, the customer service was top notch!Thank you Sam and Platero Parada Plumbing!

    If you are in the Sacramento region looking for a plumber, I strongly recommend Platero Parada Plumbing, LLC.A couple of weeks ago, we thought we just had a clogged sewer line running through our backyard, when in fact the century-old clay vitreous pipes had failed immediately below our massive cedar. The job was full of surprises (its amazing what your plumbing can be hiding underground with decades of ad hoc repairs) and ended up being a massive project.Almost the entire sewer line to the city main had to be replaced, requiring a trench of more than 100 down to a depth greater than 6 feet. Samuel Platero and his crew did excellent work that passed city inspection easily. They were professional, good at communication to keep me updated, honest, and had fair prices for the work. They were respectful of the property and of neighbors, too. They also did a great job of record-keeping for our insurance claim.The thing that really shocked me, though, was the yard after they cleaned up. I am not joking when I say it looked like nothing had happened back there (with the exception of two new sewer clean outs). I knew they were filling in the trench, but I expected to be recovering with mulch, filling back in the bricks on the patio, and replacing the deck boards that had to be removed. They took care of everything. That is pretty incredible service.I first heard about Platero Parada Plumbing from a friend who recommended them as trustworthy and honest. That is the number one thing I want from a plumber, electrician, mechanic, etc. And I have to vouch that they truly were.

    I cant say enough good things about Samuel from Platero Parada Plumbing. He came to my house on extremely short notice, after hours, to fix a major pipe leak under my home. Samuel was professional, and quickly assessed the situation.     Once again, Platero Parada Plumbing came and rescued us on Xmas Eve. Our water heater was leaking water everywhere and needed to be replaced quickly. Sam came with a new one, working in the rain, taking out the old one, and installing the new one per code, including a new gas line.He made sure that it was very secure to the wall as the other was not.     I appreciated Samuels quick response to my call regarding a plugged sewer line. He was very courteous and let me know that the sewer plug was on the citys side of my line and that it was their responsiblity to fix it. I called the city and they cleared my line.     Platero Plumbing really helped us out this weekend when our sump pump stopped working and our driveway flooded. We called multiple plumbers and Platero Plumbing were the only ones that could send someone that day. They came within 4 hours of calling them and they quickly fixed the problem with a loaner sump pump within a couple of hours, and are coming back Monday to put in a new sump pump for us. Very happy with their service.

    Stop looking, just call Platero Parada. Quick response, available in just over a day to replace a toilet. They laid down mats from the door to the bathroom, and got the job done on budget within the estimated time slot AND in and out in under an hour.     I am sharing my experience with Platero Parada Plumbing...Its past 9 pm on the East Coast. My gas water heater is dripping from the outside PVC pipe. No one here is open.I chose to call a plumber on the West Coast in hopes someone could answer my question about the potential cause and what to do.When Samuel answered the phone, I explained my situation. I told him I was not local, and why I was calling across to California.He took the time to help us. He asked questions, and listened. He asked me to send pictures of the area that was dripping, explained what was most likely wrong, suggested the fix that would be required (based on our description and the photos), and told me to call a local plumber in the AM.That is some amazing dedication to the profession, extremely kind, and very helpful.     Contacted them Sunday to see if they could do a job for me. They asked and offered if they needed to come out that day which in itself was impressive. The feeling of them caring and wanting to know if it was an emergency or not, which it wasnt and they then scheduled me for the next day.     Awesome service! The guys were really nice and professional. We had our drain overflow into the house. I called them at 8:30pm and by 9:30pm the drain was clear and they were back on the road.     After our water heater sprang a leak we called Platero Parada Plumbing and we’re glad we did! Sam came out, and after an evaluation, recommended a couple of options that included a DIY solution. Unfortunately, while the DIY option worked, another leak surfaced that was worse. Once we contacted Sam he walked us through how to shut down the gas and water to the unit and scheduled a replacement appointment. Sam and his crew were prompt, professional, and we are very happy with the new unit and the installation. Sam only charged us for the installation of the new unit and not for the initial callout or the phone consultation. We are very satisfied with the service provided by Platero Parada Plumbing and highly recommend Sam for all your plumbing needs.

    Sam installed two toilets for us a few months ago and did a wonderful job. He and his team were on time, fast, polite and conscientious. They did such a great job; I knew I didnt have to look any further for a plumber. I had no idea I would need a plumber during one of the worst storms we have seen in Sacramento. Our fence fell over and snapped an irrigation pipe, we call Sam and he drove across town during the storm to help us! He is an honest and very skilled plumber and above all, a good person.     We needed the gas valve on our water heater changed, and had previously gotten some quotes and recommendations from a large company that didn’t sit right with us.     After having two other plumbers fail to properly fix” a leak in the ceiling, I called Platero Plumbing they spent about 30 minutes examining and inspecting all possibilities until the real problem was identified, something the other guys missed. Platero did the repair that same day! I’m happy to report the repair has been tested and the solution successful. Finally!!
