Eric Stiffing managed to be the most efficient, knowledgeable, patient, and kind plumber Ive ever hired ( a fine balance of qualities on any day, but this was also the day after Christmas). He took time to explain the details of each job he could perform on our clogged washing machine pipe without in any way steering me toward one or another option. I would hire him again in a second!😊

The guys had to install our new smart toilet and it shipped with missing parts. Smart toilets are not as easy and quick to install as regular ones. This was a job that took hours to complete and they worked their you-know-whats off.They are hard working, decent and charge a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Prompt call back & scheduling, showed up on time. Lots of nice little things that show the business is run well (text reminders, camera to review work done, easy payment, etc.). Eric was easy to interact with, competent, and vibes were good. Didnt have to fight to be treated like a whole person, just very chill off the bat. Would use this service again.

My shower was leaking out of the side of the shower. We had A1 come out and take a peek. There was a plastic connector going into the metal piping that had snapped apart. I’m glad we called when we did because it would have leaked into the wall. Eric was able to diagnose the situation and had an easy solution. We are grateful for his transparency in pricing and the steps needed to fix it.While he was here he also took a look at our drain in our bathtub that had been clogged. He was able to do a drain cleaning and now our tub drains like it’s supposed to.We appreciate the urgency of service and the fact Eric loves what he does. We know who to call and who to refer to, this company is absolutely A1!

I’ve been having drain issues for a while.I’d get it clear every year but it seems to have gotten worse and I’d have to call out a plumber every 3 months or so.I’ve called numerous plumbing company to gauge out price range.Eric came out to clear our line and then even ran a camera down the drain. He pointed out the issues as he was inspecting the line. I had two separate root intrusions, he gave me different options and I decided to go with the trenchless work.Eric and his team were amazing.I recommend this company and will be using them for future issues.

We wanted to hook up our ice machine for our two year anniversary at our shop. With little notice, Eric came out and got it done. We had new pipes into floor drain & a new filter put on the ice machine. We were able to have pebble ice for our celebration and it has truly upgraded our drinks! So grateful for professionalism & quick service-- this is our go to plumber! Also, prices cant be beat!

We needed two toilets installed in our new business because the old toilets were not taken care of. We called A1 & they came right away.We wanted to be sure the piping was all good since it hadnt been used in over ten years. Eric did a camera inspection, & a preventative sewer and drain cleaning for us. He brought two new toilets & installed them right away.We called in the morning and A1 handled the issue before our workout class that evening! Our pipes were put in at an angle under our kitchen sink. When we used our garbage disposal, water came up the opposite sink and dirty water would get on our dishes. When we were gone on vacation, the pipes disconnected and there was a leak under the sink into the bottom of the cabinet.We were able to contact A1 and have someone out right away. Eric did a drain cleaning, connected new piping, and fixed the entire problem before we got back!We appreciate Eric for all his hard work.

Eric and I believe Jeff came out to clear a clogged drain. they were very professional courteous and quick they cam out on a day that was scorching hot and at the end of the day but the made quick work of the clog. Ill definitely use them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Thought I was having a water emergency, swollen wood floors directly over the mainline. I called, they had two super nice guys come within 90 minutes. They were great, got geared up and went under the house, and found… no leak. Which is great, they didn’t make me feel foolish, they were super nice all around. Will 110% use them if I have a “real” water leak 😆

Highly recommend Jeff and Eric as your go to plumbers if you are in the Sacramento area. Two of my restrooms toilets were overflowing. They cleared my line by doing a snaking. I contacted Eric and he responded to my message within 10 minutes and came to my home within an hour and was done within two hours. I am so glad they were able to come out the same day and I didn’t have to make any arrangements to take a day off work.

My kitchen sink was overflowing and it was starting to cause odor. I called A1Plumbing and Drains and spoke to Eric. He was very polite and was able to come to my house at desired time within 2 hours. I have an hour commute to Sacramento from work and wanted to get the job done as soon as possible. I am so relieved that the issue was able to get fixed during the week and I didn’t have to stay home over the weekend to get it fixed. There was a build up of grease in the pipe. Eric went ahead and hydrojetted kitchen line through clean out to clear grease at a reasonable price.Timely, Reliable and Professional. I will 100% be contacting A1 Plumbing and Drains for any further plumbing issues I run into and will refer them to my family and friends.
