Thrilled with the work the Paxton team completed at our home. Start to finish, they made the process effortless. I sent a request for an estimate electronically through their website and included a few availabilities for a possible appointment. Within a few minutes, I received an email letting me know I had been booked for one of my preferred time slots. The gentleman who provided the estimate was precisely on time, thorough, and very professional. By the end of business that day, I had received the online estimate. The two electricians who came out to do the job were also promptly on time and very professional. They were even thoughtful enough to take off their shoes at the front door-- which many might expect as standard practice, but you would be wrong. They were very meticulous in their work but also very timely, and ended up doing a beautiful job.The estimate from Paxton was not the least expensive estimate we received, but I am a big believer that sometimes cheapest is not always best and it was certainly very competitive compared to the others. Most importantly, the quote we received was comprehensive (labor, materials, etc) and with no surprise billing. They also did not even require a deposit or partial down payment, which gave significant reassurance that their company is financially successful enough that they are not barely surviving project-to-project... and are also not the worry we all fear of a dishonest contractor that asks for 50% down, only to never show up for the project.In sum, Paxton Electrics team was exceptional from start to finish. We will certainly use them again for any future electrical projects and recommend this business to others without hesitation. To the Paxton team-- thank you!Projects:1) Under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, with before and after pictures included.2) Installed hardwired exterior spotlight for house numbers to be more visible at night, with after picture included. No before picture since, well, that would have been just a blacked out picture of the dark. :)

Needed an outdoor 30 amp outlet for an RV. Paxton was recommended by a handyman who has always been so helpful with our non-electrical work. Very pleased with the timeframe and price. Everything to code and took care of the permit. I will use them again!

All my questions throughout the process were answered promptly by Zach.My wife and I are very pleased with the result. Paxton installed our whole home back up generator plus replaced broken light fixtures. Very professional and friendly company to work with. They set appointments to schedule the work, and arrived on time, which is very rare in the contractor industry! Our neighborhood lost power Halloween night due to wind storm. First time we got see if everything worked as they said it would. Our whole home generator turned on automatically as soon as power was lost, and turned off automatically as soon as power was restored 3 hours later. Perfect installation, did everything we requested and exceeded expectations.We will recommend Paxton to anyone that requires an electric expert. Thank you!

We wanted to install a lamp post in our front yard to add to the curb appeal. Paxton team came by to do the estimate and the price was actually significantly less than another quote - moreover, the team other that Paxton was not going to use concrete to stabilize the post (was just going to use gravel). Paxton team gave us excellent advice. On day of the job, they came by with a team and used a machine to dig a trench from the house to the lamp post site and laid the wiring within a PVC pipe to protect it. Poured the cement, stabilized the post with braces. A few days later, came by to install the lamp and remove the braces. The lamp post looks GREAT!!!! All of our neighbors comment on how great it looks and wanted to know who did the job. We’ll always refer others to Paxton. A-team for sure. Professional, expert, friendly, and great value too. Tyler, the master electrician, was able to identify the problems with our door bell, security system, deck lighting, fireplace switch and broken light fixture very quickly and repair them. Previous electricians had not been able to isolate the problems. Tyler even soldered our 35 year old light fixture and fix it so we did not have to buy a new one. All the above was done in about 3 hours.

I hired Paxton to hard-wire some motorized shades on a high ceiling and I couldnt have been happier with their service and how it turned out. I called around town and got a few different quotes, and Brandon gave me a reasonable quote, but he seemed more knowledgeable than the other electricians. For example, instead of feeding off an existing wall outlet and fishing a new line throughout my house, they took power from an existing fire alarm in the attic, greatly simplifying the process. CJ, Sam, Zack, and Colby were all extremely pleasant, on-time, and professional. I am curious by nature, and they happily answered all my questions throughout the process. My brother was visiting during the install and he said, those were the nicest contractors I have ever met! I agree and I highly recommend hiring Paxton for any residential electrical projects. We even discussed adding an outlet for an EV charger in my garage in the future.

They did good work and were very professional. The only reason that I did not give them a 5 star rating is that they did not give me any sense of how much it would cost. I would have appreciated that very much but they did not. I would recommend them for their work but make sure and have them delineate clearly the items they were going to charge you for.
