From the initial consultation to the final installation, their team was exceptional.The technicians were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the process and answer all my questions. They made sure I understood the benefits of the systems I was choosing and helped me select the best options for my needs.The installation itself was smooth and efficient. They worked diligently, and you could tell they took pride in their work. Waking up to a cold home with the heater gone was horrible. Calling R Buck at 8:00 a.m. and having Matt D. at our home by 9:00 a.m. was amazing. So many service companies today don’t even answer the phone. Matt was courteous and took the time to explain the issue we were having with our electric furnace and though he couldn’t complete everything that needed to be done for the full repair (parts needed to be ordered) he did get the system working to provide heat until the repair can be fully completed. Looking forward to this work being completed soon and will definitely update this review should there be any issues with any subsequent appointments.

The guys were great ... the install looks good! They gave me updates throughout the day on how things were progressing. I was surprised how quickly they did a full heating and air conditioning replacement. I got the bad news that my furnace was dead on Tuesday and Im good to go by Wednesday evening!

Our heater wasn’t working and we tried to diagnose it ourselves but had no luck. I called R Buck to request services and they were friendly and helpful and did their best to get a technician out to our home as quickly as possible. Jeff came out to service our furnace and he’s always friendly and patient while he explains what the issue was and how to avoid it in the future. October 25, 2024. Ryan arrived on time and provided the winterizing service for my swamp cooler. When finished he showed detailed photos documenting the steps he took, including: draining all water, disconnecting and draining the water feed line, unplugging both pumps, removing and storing the fan belt, turning the unit off, and installing the winter cover. Excellent service! Thanks Ryan!May 10, 2024. R Buck installed a new swamp cooler and a LG mini-split AC unit at my home. The entire experience, beginning with the consultation and estimate by Dylan Heflin, the interaction with office staff via phone, the text updates on schedule and status of tech arrivals, through installation by David Decker, Sinica Malone, Steve Osborn, Henry Poteet and others exceeded my expectations! Every member of this team was outstanding, professional, friendly, trustworthy, and focused on quality and customer satisfaction. Extremely satisfied with the plumbing work performed by R Buck Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical. Bill, the technician, came out did an initial assessment of the plumbing and noticed several issues that would become problematic in the future. Instead of just telling me, he took the time to show and explain what the problems were. At the same time, he even asked me to Google the issues so that I could verify what he was listing. When he and his team got in there, the finished the work within the 2 days he stated it would take. When I looked at the finished work, I was really impressed with what was done.

Absolutely the best service call I have ever received, and the previous best was another RBuck tech for a AC repair.Joshua made me feel like I was a service tech in training. He explained in detail every step, and explained how it effects the entire system. I did have one previous furnace tune-up at another home years ago by another company. That service call was a 3 compared to Joshuas 10. And there was really nothing wrong with that call. You just truly didnt know what was going on or why.If youre needing a reference, all I can say is yes. You should feel 100% confident that things were done correctly, efficiently, and honestly.

This was my first time using R Buck for a winter furnace tune-up but it wont be the last. Jack and DeAngelo of R Buck were knowledgeable and professional. They arrived within the given window of time and even provided a courtesy call when they were about 20 minutes away from arriving. They thoroughly inspected my furnace and provided a detailed safety inspection form. I felt comfortable with them in my house and appreciate them wearing booties. Back again to review the installation process of our new A/C unit. Given that this project was done in a 35 year old home that was not originally built with A/C, the process went smoothly, thanks to Michael H. and his co-worker Juan. Courteous, professional, thorough, knowledgeable, hard-working…these two guys impressed over and over again as the project unfolded. Early on it was clear that there was a challenge to the install of the coil, but when I asked Michael If there was a problem he said, “A small problem, but there’s always a solution, and we know what to do.“ That should tell you all you need to know about how conscientious Michael and Juan were about making sure everything was done correctly and finding a workaround if necessary. They walked us through everything they did and patiently answered all of our questions. We are pleased with the finished product and grateful for Michael’s and Juan’s commitment and attention to detail.

Initially didn’t have the best experience but it was very much made up by the great customer service from Henry the service manager as well as Nick a very knowledgeable technician. I have a boiler/hot water system together and it was a series of unfortunate events trying to get the new part delivered but ultimately out of their control sure to courier companies damaging the part and taking longer than expected to deliver. Nick came out and was able to fix my hot water which made a world of difference and soon we will be able to have the heat fixed as well!

Matt was great! We moved into this house recently and my husband was worried about the smoke/CO detectors. Matt checked all of our detectors (even the 12 ft tall ones!) and replaced the batteries; checked all the electrical plugs as well as a flickering light fixture, and answered a million questions. Whats amazing is this trip was free with their service agreement that we signed up for when we had our furnace checked out. He was meticulous and cleaned up everything too (highly appreciated, lots of contractors skip this part!). We have had several different R Buck technicians out since we moved and they have all been exceptional! Definitely recommend.

R Buck replaced a heater that was from the 1970s. They came out to give me a quote and by the next week they were installing a new furnace. The two installing technicians were on time and worked nonstop to get everything setup in one day. They were respectful of my property and I never heard an inappropriate word the whole time they were working. Their workmanship was excellent and they left the work area clean and just as they found everything. Before they left, they did walked through on everything replaced. I was very pleased with the service I received from R Buck and I highly recommend their company.

We all know that stereotype of the repair window and the repair person will show up sometime between 12 and 4 and then show up at 3:50. That is absolutely not been my experience with R. Buck! They have consistently arrived at, or even before, the time window! Efficient, thoroughly and friendly. Ryan was courteous, figured out the problem, and even showed me how to check for it next time. Matt truely changed our impression of this company. Matt came out yesterday and spent many hours fixing and troubleshooting problems with our boiler system and was able to figure out and fix things that were broken by a previous tech that came out to fix a leak. Matt talked us through what the problem was and after 4 days of no heat and hot water we had everything fixed. Only reason we gave 4 not 5 was because of the previous tech and the lack of communication and follow through on what he said he would fix.

Dave is a solid dude. He was very patient in answering all of my silly questions and very passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. He took the time to listen to my thoughts about what electrical work I wanted done in my garage and laid out a couple options for me to choose from. The end result was perfect. During our many hunting and fishing stories, I mentioned one week where my family was on vacation and a power surge went through our house and tripped a couple breakers in the garage, including our fridge and freezer, losing a bunch of meat and food. Dave educated me about a home surge protector. I asked him if he would also be able to install that this visit and he did! Dave really sealed the deal when he informed me about the Membership Program. With all this said, we will definitely use and recommend R Buck, for years to come. Dave, happy hunting.

Extremely courteous and professional. Diagnosed the issue in a matter of minutes. Had the part on his truck and got our AC up and running within 30 minutes of knocking on the door. Presented us with options for service and cost. Warrantied his work and parts. Highly recommend!!!

Then I asked him to check the furnace which was the same age of the conditioner. He said due to age it could and should be replaced at the same time as a “bundled set”. We had discovered water in our crawl space (not sure how long it was leaking) on top of our vapor barrier, Once i was able to cut that back i discovered that our kitchen sink drain pipe had completely rusted out on the bottom. I spent the weekend calling companies to come out and finally was able to book an appointment with R Buck. On early Monday Derrick came out and quickly diagnosed the situation and re-assured me that everything will be ok. Derrick was great at repairing the broken pipe, giving me advice on how to take care of the system and just a nice person all around. Never going to go with anyone but R Buck! When the AC unit servicing our upper level failed, R Buck responded within 24 hours with a service call. Then, Jack, the professional who made the call, had the unit back up and running in 30 minutes. He astutely diagnosed the issue to a burnt out capacitor and made the repair under warranty without having to bring up the warranty first. Having listened attentively to our perspective on our ACs performance, Jack went the extra mile to look at the system end to end. He saw what no other technician had noticed in 7 years--that much of the cold air intended for the upper level was being lost in a vent that recycled the air back to the utility room. In minutes he had parts and modification in place to block the recycling vent, greatly improving flow to the upstairs. Jack included us every step of the way--we learned a lot and actually enjoyed the visit thanks to his expertise and professionalism. Thank you R Buck for standing behind your promises and for keeping Jack on your team!

Im baffled by all the five-star reviews. Heres my experience with R Buck: I called and scheduled an estimate for several small jobs at my home. It was nearly a three week wait before the technician, Dave, came out to give the estimate. He was at the house for well over an hour, and was very pleasant and seemed to be documenting the requested work thoroughly. I agreed to the estimates for the six separate jobs (install ceiling fan, install new sensors and remote control for other ceiling fans, etc...) and paid about $1600 down, representing 50% of the estimated cost. We scheduled the work for another two weeks out. When the technician (Corey this time; not Dave) showed up for the scheduled work, he had one of the six jobs on his tablet, and had no information about the other five jobs on my order. He wound up making a few phone calls, and after about 90 minutes, concluded that he would not be able to complete any of the jobs that day. He suggested I call to reschedule the work for a day that both he and Dave were free to do the work. I scheduled that for another three weeks out--but then I realized I was not willing to do that before speaking with a manager or supervisor to ensure the not-so-funny comedy of errors didnt continue.I called that same Friday afternoon and requested a call back from a supervisor. They said it would likely be Monday before I received a call. I called them Tuesday afternoon to inform them that I had not received a call, and the dispatcher informed me she didnt have any documentation that I was supposed to receive a call. I explained the whole situation and said I need to speak with a supervisor. She said I would receive a call within 24 hours. After 28 hours had passed, I called them, only to learn that this dispatcher didnt have any documentation that I was due a call from a supervisor. I told her I wanted to cancel the work and an immediate refund. She was very apologetic and promised that she would have a supervisor call first thing in the morning.I did receive that call, and the supervisor was somewhat apologetic, but essentially told me that the company is having a lot of growing pains since merging with another company a few months ago. Totally unacceptable in my book. He also acknowledged that their policy is to give the technician just one job at a time so they can focus on the work at hand. Can you imagine? I had six jobs to be done, but the poor tech shows up with information about one of those six jobs. Beyond belief.I did receive the refund, but it cost me an entire day of my time on two separate occasions. I wound up going with Mr Sparky. They provided the estimate and completed the work within one week of my first call. Do yourself a favor and avoid R Buck at all cost!Update: I changed my rating from one star to four. As a mea culpa, Justin, the manager, offered up a free service in attempt to make up for the poor service I received. He sent Tyler out to service our four mini-split units free of charge. Tyler seems to have done an excellent job of servicing the units. He was on time, friendly, yet professional, and very efficient. Couldnt ask for better service. I would rate his visit with five stars for sure. I upgraded this review to four stars since the prior fiasco cost me a couple of days of downtime. Im also concerned/hopeful that R Buck will change their business practice of providing the technician with only one job at a time. That model simply doesnt work well for the customer who has multiple jobs to be addressed.

We have had nothing but a positive experience with R Buck as a whole. We had an LG residential unit placed in five rooms. This process was not simple and required a great deal of organization on the part of R Buck. The outside unit was placed on a sturdy foundation, all of the electrical and plumbing (which started on the outside due to our home not having a duct system) was done in a streamline manner, very clean and professional. The R Buck team from the beginning understand what I wanted to do and were able to work with me to address our electrical issues as well as accommodate our needs within our budget. I know that I was very concerned about holes being drilled into my home and was fearful that this would look bad or even cheap, nothing could be further from the truth. I don’t even see where the plumbing and electrical has been run because again the job was completed so professionally. I must add that the R Buck team was more than accommodating with our schedule and even made a point to meet with us in the evenings to accommodate our work schedules. Overall this experience was made simple by the knowledgeable R Buck staff and their willingness to meet my need for over communication. I will use R Buck in any capacity going forward. Thank you all. Super happy with the service we received from Tate and his team! Our tank water heater was replaced with a tankless and we are super happy with the product and the work that was done. Our boiler was also serviced by Tate and he did a great job to clean up after himself and provide a recommendation for an additional service to improve efficiency. They were able to find the issue and resolve it all in one trip. No waiting to have a second appointment or extra fees to come out again. They broke down in detail to us what was wrong and what needed replacement. They even gave us options to fit our needs and what we could afford at this moment and time. They were respectful of our home in wearing booties over their shoes to not track dirt in. Overall, just above and beyond service. I would recommend anyone to seek out their professional help. Absolutely awesome! When I called to inquire about the problem and schedule the technician visit Shaniqua was delightful and helpful and arranged everything precisely. Matt, our HVAC tech was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, Super friendly, thorough, detail oriented and provided a bunch of great recommendations which will be sent as a report with pictures. The cost of the visit seemed extremely reasonably priced particularly given the complexities of this particular situation. Its a scary thing to think about the possibility of your AC or furnace units breaking. Of course when the AC quits and it is 90° outside, with a couple of hot months still to go, you pray its just some bad piece that is a 10-minute fix and maybe 50 bucks. The first thing I thought was that we had friends last week with air conditioning issues. I called them and they said they used R Buck (which I had heard of and seen band all over- Great marketing!!). We called on a Sunday and they were willing to come out for a higher fee, so we waited until Monday. Its just good to know that when you are in an emergency, they are willing to work on a Sunday. when the diagnostic technician told me that the control board on the furnace needs replaced, and that will be pricey, I asked how old is the unit.....22 years old! I did not understand what the furnace had to do with the air conditioning. So I asked - Ryan was so kind not to make me feel stupid. He explained it in a way I could understand. I also liked Ryan because he never pushed me one way or the other. He gave me all my options, told me it was our money to be spending, not his, but he also gave his opinion when I asked. All that to say we ended up getting a new unit---the next day! This morning the installation technicians came. I was pleased with their efficiency and professionalism (no blaring loud music or using profanity). When they were done they installed carbon monoxide detectors outside of the bedrooms, and set up an appointment for the inspection. They were all three very kind to my puppy, even though one of the technicians has had negative experiences with that breed.I would highly recommend R Buck to anyone. Thanks to Ryan Leonard, Scott Brandborg, the other installation technician and the person my husband talked to on Sunday!

Joshua did a great job doing preventative maintenance on our furnace for the winter. He tested the delta T across the heat exchanger and showed us some corrosion in the box to indicate the efficiency and general condition of our furnace. He cleared a clogged condensate line and installed a new filter. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions.
