These guys are AMAZING. Getting someone out to my property being out so far is always a headache - these guys didnt blink. Finding these guys was like knocking it outta the park. They took their time and made sure to check everything necessary to ensure the job was done right. They listened to my concerns and made sure I was happy with the results. They went above and beyond. Knocked my socks off today with the stellar service. Will definitely be using their services again.

Had an issue with a power outage after a big wind storm. Black Hills wasnt able to come for over 24 hours. Royal electric came out immediately and was able to get my power back on. Would highly recommend them for any electrical needs. Professional and fast!

I have been working with Royal Electric to replace the motor on my table saw, and I just want to share that it has been a most pleasurable experience. I started working with Brian Martinez in the motor shop to get the right motor and he could not have been more patient to help me not only find the right motor but a motor that would mount up with the least amount of modifications. Excellent it worked beautifully. The table saw is very old and wiring. The motor to the switch was problematic for me so I called and scheduled an appointment with Michael Mand, who completed wiring of the motor and switch today. All of my interactions with Royal Electric have been very pleasant. People answer the phone, They follow up, they call you back when they say they’re going to they show up when they say they’re going to and everybody has been extremely patient and extremely nice to work with.

My experience with Royal was outstanding. I used them for wiring a hot tub. They were the lowest price quote I received by far, and the customer service was excellent. Cailee answered all of my questions quickly, and the techs they sent out were wonderful. When my hot tub delivery was delayed, I was able to send them an email the night it was delivered, and they had guys at my house first thing the next morning. Wonderful value and customer service!

Two members of Paul’s team (Aaron and Jordan) did two outstanding jobs for me in the last 2 months : upgrades at a rental and electrical prep work for heat pumps at my residence. Paul and Aaron are very kind and knowledgeable and they answered my endless questions. Paul is an asset for the community. Ms. Smith in the office is very helpful too. This company also did a code upgrade for me at an old rental in 2020.

Very respectable company. Since my first telephone call, they were out here within the week to replace my mast, my box, etc. They got back to me with an itemized estimate & it was true. Royal is an awsome company I have used them for several repairs. Furance was out quoted that I needed a new one. This was not true! Was repaired by Royal Electricthe next day with in hours of them arriving. Great company I would highly recommend.

**Update to original review (below): I spoke with the owner of the company, who was very nice and apologized for my experience, which he attributed to having recently hired new staff. He promptly issued me a full refund. I have updated my score from one star to five, to reflect the owner’s responsiveness in fixing the problem.I called Royal Electric to schedule a diagnostics appointment, in order to find and repair the location of a leak in my air conditioner. Instead, the technician arrived for an inspection, during which they charged $90 to inform me there was a leak, which I already knew. They told me I needed to schedule a second appointment for diagnostics, which I did. My wife took off work to be home for the appointment. However, the scheduler messed up again, and they didn’t arrive. We rescheduled AGAIN, and took off work AGAIN. More lost money. This time, Royal Electric charged us $130 to add coolant to our AC, while STILL failing to identify the location of the leak. Two days later, our AC was not working again. We called R Buck, who came right out, immediately found the leak, and fixed the problem. We were extremely impressed by R. Buck’s services. Meanwhile, for weeks now, I have been requesting a refund from Royal Electric, who charged me $220 to do absolutely nothing to fix our problem, which was clearly explained to them from the start. The receptionist has repeatedly told me he will call me back, only to fail to do so each time. I strongly recommend against using Royal Electric!

Had a hard time finding a motor for my furnace! Found Royal they started the search keep me informed and found one that day! Ordered it was here in time before the cold and snow! Our great experience with Royal Electrical began with Paul, who came out to walk through all of the electrical projects we had on our list and provide us with a quote. Then Greg and DJ came out to do the work and do some additional troubleshooting for us on some wiring that will need repair. They did a great job, got all of the work we had identified done in a timely manner and just exactly the way we wanted it. They went above and beyond to understand what we were trying to accomplish and went about figuring out the best way to do the work. We will definitely be using Royal Electrical again and have already talked to them about the remaining projects we want to have done.

I called Royal in an effort to get someone out to look at our aging air conditioning unit fully expecting to wait some time with the current temperatures, however I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get out that day. He ran full check and added coolant. This definitely made a difference in the temperature In the house. he also let me know that our system is old and may be winding down but were up and running for now... thank you Mike!

We found the two men who came to replace our outside pathway lights to be extremely efficient, prompt and knowledgeable. We were very pleased with their work. They set in new lights and cleaned up, made everything look nice and neat, then tried them out to make sure everything was working properly before leaving.I would rate their work very highly.

We are so grateful for the timely manner Royal Electric handled our issue. We were without power in one half of the house which caused our heater to go out, mind you it was below freezing temperatures outside. Aaron got to us within a couple of hours and didn’t leave till the problem was taken care of and the cost was very affordable considering the alternative. Thank you so much!

Lost all electric to our home. Of course this happened on a Friday, after hours. I called Royal Electrical and got a call back within just a few minutes. The gentleman on the phone informed me that Tom would come out and help. Tom called and arrived within the hour. He was able to get us electricity in no time. He was friendly, courteous and explained everything he did. Great, exceptional customer service. Will never use anyone else. Highly recommend this company.

Daniel came out about 4 weeks ago and serviced our furnace and put a new thermostat on the wall and educated us on how to navigate it. This is the third time we have called on Royal and we have really appreciated the service and dedication that each of your employees has given. About 2-3 years ago we had a young man on a cold blizzard day in the late afternoon and on the weekend come out because our furnace quit working. I wish we could remember his name but maybe on your records. Thank you all so much. me and my husband will always call on Royal Electric for our needs. Again Thank you so much.

Last year we went through 3 motors in our swamp cooler. We had multiple companies come out to attempt to diagnose what was happening. Nobody ever reported finding any problems to cause this. Royal sent Chris out to us this week and he took the time to figure out what was wrong and get it fixed! (Fingers crossed its only been 24 hours, but I have a good feeling!) Last night we were able to get our house down to 63 degrees to help combat the next couple of 100 degree days ahead.Thank you so much for sending Chris to us! I highly recommend Royal and him.

1st time customer...The owner and his son arrived AHEAD OF SCHEDULE and had a mess of a wiring system (left by others less skilled, after a home well pump install) to figure out. No plans or schematics for the 40 yr old system. The system even required additional (new) wiring added, to get all circuitry working EXACTLY correct. It was all fixed (i.e. restored) perfectly. Everything works great! They demonstrated to me they certainly know their stuff. Couldnt have been more pleasant to work with. I will most definitely be using them again.
