I called Arts Locating at the suggestion of a major plumbing company in Prescott and set up an appointment. Caleb arrived when scheduled and began asking questions relevant to my situation and I soon knew I had the right person with the skills and competency and tools to do the job. Caleb began his search for the source of water that was causing the problem and employed a variety of tools measuring different values: humidity levels, temperatures, and sounds. His conclusions were fact based and clear. Wish I had sought out his services at the beginning of the project rather than after an expensive failure due to lack of knowledge on part of the painting contractor.Caleb gets my enthusiastic recommendation for water source location services.

Mr. Rooter had no equipment and did the same visual search that I did, of course with no results, yet charged me $150 for nothing. Caleb, the owner of Art’s Locating Service, was very prompt in initially answering my call for service for an exterior water leak. He scheduled me for the afternoon of Memorial Day, something most contractors do not offer. On Memorial Day, he was delayed because of the water leak issues with clients earlier in the day. He kept me posted about when he would arrive at my home to perform his service. He was able to locate the leak within 30 minutes. He was prompt, courteous and helpful answering my questions. I highly recommend him to others and would use his services again in the future if necessary.

TCO Plumbing recommended this service and I’m grateful because Caleb answered my call on the first ring and made time to come out — then he found my leak in this first visit. It wasn’t easily detected but he had multiple methods and did identify the subterranean leak. He even found and marked the underground plumbing lines (since it was metal). Caleb patiently answered my many questions and even went into greater detail to address my plumber’s inquiries as well. Highly recommend!

The leak was from the water line leading to the refrigerator; job well done. But wait... Caleb also repaired the problem. I can’t say enough good things about Caleb with Arts Locating. I have a cabin in the pines constantly running out of water and having major issues. It was costing me a fortune in water, repairs and lost rent.I had 3 different plumbers come out, one just wanted to replace everything the other two just gave up. Arts Locating is a true hero. Caleb has the determination and equipment to *really locate* the water leak I had on my property. Calebs time of arrival was as-planned with less hassle than Precision Utility Locating, which I used first. Precision couldnt complete the job without extra help. Arts Locating has more equipment to get the job done efficiently. I was also presented with a MUCH more conservative repair estimate than Precision gave me, and given recommendations to honest contractors for the new water line I will need on my rocky soil property, potentially saving me $12,500 over Precision Locatings estimate.From my experience during this ordeal, Caleb is the most affordable and his operation is the most reasonable of the water leak locators in this area.
