Best plumber ever -- truly not an exaggeration in the case of Duane at Stellar Plumbing. Our house had a sewage backup occur after hours. Duane was at our house and working on it within 45 minutes. He cleared the blockage, and then also fixed a hot water heater issue we were having as well. Not only a good plumber, but a really good person, too.

Duane was very quick to respond. Was at my home within 1 hour on a Sunday. He found our backup to our grinder. Cleaned out the area and found a shorted wire. Created a temporary fix until we could get an electrician to replace breaker. Duane was very caring and knowledgeable about the system we have. Today we noticed a leak in our water heater that was only 4 yrs old. Phoned Stellar who’d been Rec’d by our realtor; they arrived within 2 hours. From the moment they arrived, they were “on our team” as our honest & reliable partner. Because they guided us thru the process we ended up with a replacement water heater and only had to pay labor costs. Duane & James were so kind & knowledgeable, and we believe we save about $1100! Highly Rec’d Stellar — because they are!!!

I have used Stellar Plumbing twice now. The first time was about two and a half months ago when we experienced a serious leak at the main valve located in the easement behind our house. Unfortunately the leak was on our side of the meter, so it was our responsibility rather than that of the town. We were made aware of the leak on a Friday, and I called several plumbers to find one who would come out that same day. Stellar Plumbing was the only one to actually answer my phone call; with all others I got a recorded message inviting me to leave a message. Stellar came out, assessed the problem, and told me they’d be by early the next day – Saturday – to fix it. They showed up on time as promised and completed the work quickly. The price they charged was in my opinion very reasonable, and I was happy with their service.Just the other day we experienced yet another plumbing emergency, and based on my previous experience with Stellar I called them again. Although they were obviously busy – this area does not have enough plumbers or other service professionals to support our exploding population – they managed to fit me into their hectic schedule. They completed the work efficiently and effectively, and an issue arose which could have proven problematic. In resolving this issue, Stellar demonstrated a very high level of professionalism and integrity. I very much appreciate such old-fashioned values and honor, and I highly recommend Stellar Plumbing.

I needed a plumber so I called Stellar Plumbing, They were able to come right out and take care of my issue. I removed a gas fireplace and needed a gas line capped off. He showed up promptly on time, very courteous and did a fabulous job. Also inspected my water heater, overflow tank and found it to be in bad shape so we replace that as well, his prices are fair his work is quality. Professional, Trustworthy and Affordable. Im extremely happy with the recent repair Duane did on my water heater. My home warranty company accidentally canceled my service request, but Duane still managed to quickly fit me in his schedule and arrived in just over an hour. My roof has gutters, gutters go into the downpipes, that goes into a black plastic 4-in corrugated pipe Underground and drains off the property. Mine got plugged up with roots I think his name was Dwayne that came out had it taken care of and pretty no time I called him he came out couple days later at the most it might have been the next day. He got the job done everythings flowing free Im happy he got paid Lifes good yeah I would recommend him. I called Stellar Plumbing because my home inspector recommended that a tray and drain pipe be put under my hot water heater so that any future leak would not flood my wood floor.Also two different types of pipes had been used and needed to be uniform. Duane Miller came out to check out the situation. He was able within a few days to return with the right parts, sized tray and also noticed the overflow tank needed replacement. He did the job with focus on detail, even making sure the flooring around the hot water heater was repaired so as not to be an eye sore. He also cleaned up after himself when the job was completed. I have complete confidence in his work. A friendly, professional, hard working guy whose price was reasonable especially considering that he went above and beyond to put things in perfect working order.I am grateful. Its not easy to find a trustworthy plumber. I highly recommend Duane at Stellar Plumbing!

Stellar plumbing is a great company. Duane was on time and was very friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions with no problem and was able to fixed my water heater extremely fast. He also was able to diagnose the problem with my house heater and it saved me the time and money of calling a heater and air company. Overall stellar pluming was great, customer services was awesome. Hopefully I don’t have any more plumbing problems anytime soon but if I do I will definitely be using stellar plumbing again!

Duane is absolutely great. Weve called on a number of occasions for various problems - each of them difficult, some of them emergencies. He always arrives just in the nick of time, and figures out what the problem is and advises of the best way to deal with it.Our most difficult problem (for us, not for him) had to do with sewer stoppages and backups. Turned out it was a broken and malfunctioning backup valve. Someone had broken in by improperly snaking the cleanout. To make things worse, the builder had installed the valve four feet below ground and it was nearly impossible to service. But Duane figured out a way to do it - in fact, he made a tool for it.And there have been several other problems like this that has solved for us quickly and at a fair price. Were so happy to have found Stellar Plumbing. Big problems for us always turn out to be small problems for them.

I can safely say I struck GOLD when I contacted Duane to install a brand new kitchen sink after having my kitchen redone with granite countertops. Duane reconfigured the drains to fit the new sink and put in 4-5 hours worth of work, including a trip to his supplier for a few parts. Duane knows the profession inside and out. His prices are fair, his work is impeccable, and he’s genuinely pleasant to interact with. My review is mainly for the integrity and professionalism of the work done on a Sunday evening when I was in desperate need of some definitive answers. Stellar Plumbing answered my call and said that they would inspect the source of my backed up toilets to say for certain whether it was a filled septic tank or clogged pipe. If it was a clogged pipe he said he wouldnt charge but after the amount of work he did on a late Sunday afternoon I did offer him money but he still insisted that I keep my money. I can say for certain that a good plumber is hard to find and one with integrity and professionalism is even harder. You should look no further than Stellar Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.

Dwayne Miller did an outstanding job locating the source of a water drainage problem in our kitchen sink. It turned out to be a 90-degree elbow from former plumbing located in a crawl space under the house, a common rookie mistake, as Dwayne put it. Once the blockage was located, Dwayne quickly corrected the elbow and thats one problem that will not occur again in that area of our pipes. Very reasonable rate, too. I highly recommend Stellar Plumbing.

We discovered a water leak outside on Sat night after dinner and Duane was here within an hour after our call. He told us that the Fire Dept. would come turn off our main water line to the house for free. He worked to locate the source of the leak and made a temporary cap so we could have hot water and re-lit the water heater igniter which went out when I inadvertently turned off the gas. He came back promptly Sun morning to finish repairing the broken pipes replacing the elbows, fittings etc. He flushed the water heater and replaced the thermal expansion unit and the galvanized fittings with brass ones. He even gave us the name of a very affordable landscaper who could restore the landscaping and winterize our drip system. Thoroughly competent, professional and efficient!! He saved us from a disastrous situation on the weekend - who could ask for more? He will be our go to plumber in the future! Thanks, Duane!!

Dwayne did a great job clearing my clogged shower drain, answered all my questions about my indoor and outdoor plumbing systems and shared with me information about my entire plumbing systems such as where the outside vent is for my indoor plumbing and where the water flows to once outside! I phoned him late Friday evening and he scheduled the appointment for 8 a.m. on Saturday morning and didnt charge anything extra for weekend service! Prompt return of initial call after hours. Response w/in 30 mins for water heater which would not re-light. Initial thought was that I needed to order replacement parts from Rheam on Mon. But Duane thought about it over night and next morning calling to say he wanted to try 1 more thing (again, after hours/Sat) While on site he remembered my thought that debris(gravel) caused the problem which I heard falling thru the aluminium flue when roofers were cleaning up w/blower on the roof after roof installation. He ch ecked the flue damper atop the unit and wiggled it which evidently loosened the debris allowing the damper to close completely which had hindered the unit from automatic re-light. “Stellar Plumbing” truly lives up to their name. We own a local restaurant in downtown Prescott and for those familiar with the area, you know the buildings are 100 plus years old. This translates to a lot of repair issues, especially plumbing. We have had numerous local companies try to unclog our drain lines and paid quite a sum of money doing so. None of them completely unclogged the sewage line. Most did just enough to get the water flowing a bit. That was not the case with Stellar plumbing. Duane did what the others were unable or just unwilling to do. He took the time needed to do it right. He ground out the roots and gave me good advice on how to keep them out.The second time was because the lines had backed up again. I happened to be in town from San Diego helping my 91 year old Grandma who had broken her arm when her 2 toilets and 2 showers began filling up with sewage water. Within 15 minutes of calling Duane he was at my Grandmas home and hard at work. My Grandmas home is 50 years old and has original toilets. In other words Duane was in for some real hard work! Duane was able to clear the lines, replaced some parts in the toilets and made some very helpful suggestions for the future (Grandma will be picking out a new tall toilet that does not use 5 gallons of water per flush that Duane said he would pickup and install). I was sure that the bill would be $1,000 for the almost 5 hours he was there plus lets; I was VERY wrong. Duane was unbelievably reasonable, professional and went above and beyond!!!
