When my heat went out on the coldest day of the year (which was also a Sunday) I panicked. I called a few places but Roger got back to me so quickly! Dan got to my house in under an hour from when I reached out. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. I had a lot of issues with my boiler (some of which I was aware of, but I was holding my breath hoping I could make it one more winter 😅) and he took care of them all. Considering how much had to be done, I feel the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I’ve had numerous companies in past 3 years try to clear my outside drains unsuccessfully and suggested creating whole new complex, expensive outside underground system. After much investigation, Roger and team found the source of the clog and fixed the issue inside at a much more reasonable cost. Very satisfied with the work Tyler and his apprentice did in replacing the pipe that was leaking right before my inside shutoff valve. Not an easy job cutting a pipe that has 60 pounds of pressure and crimping it on the fly!

I had been working with another plumber for months going nowhere and then reached out to Roger Ross. Natasha and Dan were both very helpful getting an appointment for an estimate the day after I had called. Dan explained the options available and was very insightful when the project hit a few snags and kept me informed of what he was doing. All of the work was completed within a week and a half of me initially reaching out.

Dan and his crew did a great job with what seemed like a complicated repair. They were diligent and took their time figuring out the core issue, but once they came up with a plan they fixed it quickly. After the repair was done they reviewed all of their work to make sure we were in good shape. The plumbing in my home has been a mystery since we moved in so I had plenty of questions, and they were patient and thorough sharing information with me. I will gladly call Roger Ross for any future jobs, and recommend them to others.

After a plumbing disaster that involved sewage leaking through my sons ceiling light fixture (!!!), I called Roger Ross in the middle of the night and he sent Dan V. over first thing in the morning to identify the source of the leak. Once the source was identified, Dan clearly explained the cause of the problem to me in understandable language (and even drew a picture of the internal pipes in question!) so that I knew exactly what was happening and what my options were for moving forward. He encouraged me to make the choice that was best for me, and after getting two other estimates from other plumbers, it was clear that Roger Ross offered the best price. Dan immediately returned to complete the repair, was incredibly pleasant to work with, communicated clearly each step of the way, and was able to remove the existing cracked pipe with minimal damage to the adjacent walls. The other plumbers said they would need to open up walls on two floors to access and remove the pipe, but Dan carefully worked to be able to do so from a single entrance, which will reduce the follow-up costs of repairs. I am so, so grateful. Dan was professional, kind, and communicative-- AND did excellent work. Highly recommend!!

Updated review: Recommend booking online as sometimes their receptionist isnt available and you may not get a call back. They installed my garbage disposal about 2 years ago and a laundry tub for me. Within about 2 years the sealant in the basin completely deteriorated and the disposal strainer came loose, causing a leak underneath my kitchen sink. Was able to get an appointment within about a week and the plumber did a good job of replacing the faulty parts and resealing. I initially had an invoice I had to pay but Roger personally reached out after my first review and said that they would cover the cost. Definitely will be using them again in the future and booking online.

Came out for a service estimate and these guys were knowledgeable, caught issues that my inspector didn’t catch, and broke down what need to be done and were down to earth about the prices and time needed for completion. They work with houses in manayunk frequently so they are familiar with the plumbing in the older houses. I can’t be more thankful for these guys! During their estimate I had a large furniture delivery and they even helped me move it (which they didn’t have to do and I’m so thankful for!) Definitely will be using these guys for all of my plumbing needs.

Moved into a new place recently and had a few plumbing problems I had to get addressed. They were good about contacting me pretty promptly after getting in touch, setting an appointment up, and following up afterward on the issue to make sure they were taken care of.Had to get a toilet replacement due to a faulty toilet that was at the house, and they did great at the new installation, and following cleanup and removal of the old toilet.Prices also seemed very fair for the work that was done, and the people they had out were very professional and good to talk to. I contacted Roger Ross Plumbing to fix the tub spout in my bathroom, which was leaking behind the wall. Scheduling was easy and the people on the phone are very nice. The plumbers showed up a bit before the scheduled time and were finished with the job in about a half hour, they attached a threaded fitting to the pipe and re-installed the tub spout. It’s working now with no leaks, I would recommend Roger Ross if you need any plumbing work done.

After striking out with two other plumbers, I was referred to Roger Ross Plumbing by a friend. Roger came out to give me an estimate on a Friday and was able to schedule the work for me on Tuesday, only a few days later. He addressed a variety of issues in a second floor bath, including replacing the drain line, installing a new vanity and faucet (which required moving the water lines to accommodate a larger vanity), and reinstalling an existing toilet (which required a new flange). Bob and Tyler were very knowledgeable and did excellent work. They even volunteered to install the hardware on the vanity for me. Roger stopped by midday to check on the progress. I am so happy to have this bathroom thats been a problem for several months fixed in less than a day. The price was very fair for all the work completed. Thank you!

They turned off the water and because I have another heater they came back the next day and put in a new one. VERY professional. Smart guys who you like to have a beer with ! Found the problem in minutes, fixed it and ended a very cold 4 day period. I own three apartments and will use their service from now on. I ended a 30 year relationship with a local East Falls plumber who really overcharged me on the last two bills. Then was angry that I asked him to give me an assessment of what the costs would be. They send a one page one line bill by mail. This company streamlines the process online. I did not need to replace anything as my old plumber stated, he just didnt want to do it. Said he needed to order the part, left me in the cold , literally for 4 days, and RRP fixed it and honestly told me it was old but did not need replacing. Honesty counts. Their trucks are stocked. I am requesting them back to fix a toilet also broken by the former plumber who just didnt care to do it right. Toilets are not complicated.

Ive been working with Roger and his team for more than 15 years now on a wide range of plumbing needs:- fixture install for a basement remodel (claw foot tub, couple sinks, toilet with mascerating unit, washer/dryer, tankless hot water heater)- replacement of the basement mascerating unit 14 years later- fixture install for bathroom/kitchen remodel (toilet, sinks, instant hot, disposal, dishwasher, etc)- toilet installs- shower fixture installs- Im sure there are others, above is off top of my headMy most recent experience was with a p-trap replacement for our shower. The tricky part with this: it hangs below our condo just under the ceiling of the garage which is 15 ft high. A scissor lift was supposed to arrive by 10AM, with Rogers crew likely done by noon - but the lift didnt actually arrive until 3:30PM! Roger was able to work around the schedule issues and everything was still completed by the end of the day. As with all the other jobs he has done for me going back 15 years now, he and his crews are professional, courteous, friendly, skilled and efficient; I highly recommend them.

My father in-law was experiencing a leak in his ceiling so I called Roger Ross Plumbing to come open up the ceiling to see if they could find what was causing it. I spoke with Natasha who was incredibly friendly and helpful in getting the appointment set up (If you call ask for her, she honestly made this entire experience so much easier). PJ came to the house and opened up plaster and lath ceiling (Not a clean or easy task) and ran the upstairs water for a leak but after an hour we realized that no of the pipes were leaking. There was a lot of corrosion and bad plumbing work from previous contractors band-aid projects so we decided to keep the ceiling open for a week or so and see if the leak returns and then we can go from there. PJ spent the time explaining options and recommending what he believes would be the correct next step if a leak returns. These guys are great and I will use them for my home plumbing needs also! Rodger himself got back to me so promptly, asked if this was an emergency (it was not), and he still gave me an appointment for first thing Monday morning (I called them on Friday).Tyler arrived within the timeframe they promised, he brought a ladder as requested, and went up to the attic to diagnose the issue. He came back down in less than 10 minutes with pictures, a video, and told me exactly what I need to do. It turns out my issue is a minor roofing repair, and it’s not something Rodger Ross’s company can fix, but this clear information and knowledge of the problem was worth their service fee.I will definitely use Roger Ross plumbing in the future.
