    This is our second positive experience with Goodman plumbing. Three years ago, they replaced our old leaky furnace and did a great job. When our dining room ceiling started leaking, we called and they came the next day. Tom and Bill found the problem (clogged, corroded copper pipe), quoted a fair price and fixed it quickly with pvc piping. They were careful about protecting the work area, and cleaned up thoroughly. Goodman also offers a 1-year warranty on repairs for peace of mind.

    On September 10, 2024 I had a stack pipe replaced by Goodman plumbing, my plumber was Bill S and Brandan, I just wanted to tell you HOW MUCH I appreciate these 2 guys, you talking about nice, kind, caring guys they were the best. Bill always called before coming thank God for that because I’m retired and not use to getting up @ the crack of dawn anymore lol. For 3 days they worked in my home they always cleaned up never left any trash around. 9/13/24 Bill arrived to finish the job, and I’m soooo very happy 🥰 about the completed job he did.     I woke up around 8:00 AM to the sound of it raining in my basement! My ancient gas hot water heater was leaking through the floor into my basement. I called Goodman Plumbing and their on-call person called me back in less than twenty minutes.Zac from Goodman was here less than thirty minutes later and able to start helping me out. Zac was able to completely replace my hot water heater, valves, and pan with drain by 2:00 PM! He even took the old one. I have never been so thankful to take a hot shower.Thank you again Zac, and Goodman Plumbing!

    I just had a sewer pipe replaced at my residence by Goodman Plumbing. The team of Derick, Dante and Ron arrived promptly and on-time and gave me outstanding service. The team answered all of my questions and did a first rate job with the pipe replacement and the sealing of the excavation site. I’m a fully satisfied customer and would recommend this team and Goodman Plumbing for any plumbing needs.     Goodman replaced a cast iron boiler for me as well as two radiators that a previous owner had taken out of my home.As I wanted to stay consistent with the historical nature of my 100-year-old home, they procured two cast iron radiators from the radiator graveyard and installed them along with the boiler within a week of placing the order. And they sanded and painted my new-to-me vintage/antique radiators!On the day of the installation, the crew arrived on time and were very respectful of my home. They worked tirelessly all day and made sure everything was working before they left. After the fact, I had a few questions, and they were extremely responsive to my texts.I would highly recommend this company, and will use them again!

    At 8:30 pm on a weeknight I called about a leaking water heater. Shawn called me back and reviewed some photos and info and determined a new heater was needed. By 9:30 am the next day, Zac was at my home and made quick work of draining & removing the old equipment and installing the new one. They made an unpleasant, though necessary, purchase as smooth as possible. Definitely recommend.

    I had mini splits installed by Goodman and the people were great and thorough. However, I was told during the contract set up and signing that mini split installations would include a 1 year warranty and this would cover 1 free maintenance check and cleaning.I called within the year and set up an appointment explaining this was my maintenance visit within the warranty coverage.The day of the appointment I was working from home and sitting near the front door. I was called later in the day and told theyd stopped by and no one was home, which made no sense as I was sitting by the front door so it appears no one rang the bell. I called back attempting to set up another appointment within the warranty period and was told the contract didnt have this written out so it was not included. The contract receipt I was given was a handwritten carbon copy listing the cost of equipment and installation and nothing else. I called the person who installed the units as well as helped me set up the payment plan and received no answer. The manager apparently gave the directive to not provide the service even though I was specifically told by the installer that maintenance check would be covered.It is absolutely absurd to have the entire contract be a handwritten receipt and not honor what was initially communicated to the customer. I appreciated the service during installation but with all of the backtracking I was left frustrated and disappointed in what I had thought was a decent company.***Update***Goodman reached out to me after my review and I appreciate the effort they put into getting me a quick maintenance visit set up and in reaching out. They were out within the week and were quick and thorough.

    I contacted Goodman Plumbing to move a gas valve access to a different location for an appliance installation. Tom Y was the technician who completed the work. I cannot say enough good things about this company. From my initial contact to schedule the work, to completion it was a very professional, efficient process. Everyone was very kind.Tom was pleasant and answered all questions . He explained what he was going to do and he did a great job. Very neat and clean. I will (highly) recommend this company and use them again if I need to.

    Have used Goodman (thankfully only) twice over the years as an emergency plumbing repair. Their reliability and prompt response led me to having them come out and perform an annual HVAC maintenance and check. Yet again, they did not disappoint. Easy booking for next day service.     Every encounter I have ever had with a specialist from Goodman Plumbing has been wonderful. Not only does each one of them know their trade, they are kind, friendly, caring and intent on treating their customers with respect. Thomas, who was here today to help me with several issues, was all of the above. He was efficient, patient, arrived on time and friendly. He empathized with my plumbing issues even as he addressed them. He is an asset to Goodman Plumbing and Goodman is an asset to Philadelphia. You cant go wrong with them!     I found out 10am and we call lots of people to help. But, they all failed... and Zac was the last guy we gave the hope. He came 10:30pm and he was able to stop and finish the job in 30min. He had the most good attitude. And very professional. Before he show up I had to pour water non stop over 10 hours... and he came to save us. It was emergency and he came on time as he promiss, and did the fantastic job. Thank you Zac.

    I was having trouble cooling down my house this summer and called Goodman Plumbing to service my 14-year old AC unit. Goodman had a technician visit my house within a day of calling their office. The technician, James, communicated that the manufacturer is no longer producing and/or servicing my AC unit and recommended that I replace both the HVAC and furnace. James was helpful and transparent in walking me through the various options and costs.Within a week of deciding to move forward with replacing both the HVAC and furnace, Mike and his team were at my house installing the new unit. The process was smooth and easy. My house is significantly cooler.

    I needed to replace my Heating and HVAC as the vents seemed clogged and had an odor when I turned them on each season. Stan came out and took his time explaining the procedure and the necessary repairs needed in terminology that I could understand. On the scheduled date Borys and James impressively arrived on time and immediately began work. During the job they came across a truly horrific obstacle in which they were very professional in removing. They made me feel very comfortable and confident in this decision I made to have this work done.     When we went to turn our air conditioner on this year we notice something was wrong we called another company they came out and in 5 mins they just told us our air conditioner couldn’t fixed and gave us high quotes for a new one. We just didn’t feel right by what they said So we contacted Goodman and they came out right away tested our system and explained to us that it could be fixed and gave us options to fix it and to have a new one installed after weight out cost we decided since our system is over 20 years old, we also plan to live here for a long time and Goodman quote for a new system was much lower then the other company. We thought it was best to have a new system installed. Goodman was able to get a new AC and install it in a timely manner. After the system was installed Goodman took the time to check up on us to make sure everything was working great. The girls in the office are very professional and kind. I highly recommend Goodman.

Instead of charging me for a minor fix, they explained everything and didn’t charge a dime.     We experienced extremely low water pressure due to a leak in our main waterline underground. A plumber who wasnt licensed in Philadelphia recommended Goodman to us. Their representative, Sean, came out and diagnosed the problem. He was extremely professional. A crew of three, including Derrick, Dante, and Ronnie, worked for 8 hours to replace the broken 1/2 line with a 3/4 line, completing the job just as Sean had explained to us. We are very pleased with the outcome, and the pricing was very fair considering the amount of work that was required.

    This is now my go-to company for any future HVAC needs. They pick up the phone when you call. They are super responsive. They helped address our AC issue promptly. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Stanley efficiently diagnosed our issue and we felt confident in his assessment. Dan and Roman did an amazing job with installing our new AC and heat pump - on one of the hottest days of the year. We felt good knowing our problem was in their hands and they knew exactly what to do. Strongly recommend this company for your HVAC needs.We had Goodman come out again - this time to service our other A/C system. James (Jim D) was thorough in ensuring that the unit was cleaned and serviced to make sure it is working efficiently. I appreciated that he took his time and didn’t rush.     My fiancé and I give Goodman plumbing 5 stars. My fiancé Carl was the one who dealt with Stanley and three men crew on 6/10/2024. He said they did amazing work. Stanley did the layout and knew exactly what he was talking about and also explained it so well that we understood every work they were going to do when installing the AC UNIT.     These guys are incredible. We had a storm drain backup, so we called for a drain cleaning. Goodman plumbers came out, but quickly realized they couldnt clear the clog because our sewer line was busted. They sent a different crew to replace the line asap. Derrick and team (Donte, John, others - forgive my spelling) - did an absolutely incredible job. They cut through concrete and street, waded through the muck, figured out the problem (PECOs newly replaced telephone pole crushed the sewer line), explained everything throughout, installed a repair, and tidied up after themselves. The amount of labor and demands of the work that went into it is astounding. They handled it efficiently and expertly. We will never use another plumber as long as were in Philly.

    Household help put dried peas down the garbage disposal, hard as rocks - DISASTER ! Sink totally clogged and inoperable. Got costly estimates from other plumbers - $225 up to $600. A friend recommended Goodman. Tom came promptly next morning. He was respectful and knowedgeable Was here an hour. Back and forth to truck. Said it was bad but we dodged the bullet. He cleared the drain and it cost only $185. Great job ! Highly recommend !

No one likes to replace a hot water heater, but it was necessary, and I am glad I called Goodman Plumbing.     On June 14th we called Goodman as our AC unit had froze up. Stan came out within a couple of hours to add refrigerant in. Stan explained why our unit was freezing up. June 17th Stan came out for us to sign contract for a new unit and explained the unit he recommended for our house,answered all questions and he added more refrigerant to hold us up till new Unit came in. June 27th Roman,Dan came to install new unit. They were punctual, efficient and answered any questions we had while they were there. They cleaned up everything nicely,was a job well done.     Had another great experience with Goodman today. Had an old water filter in our basement that was starting to leak and Zach stopped out today to remedy the issue. He was prompt and professional and also ended up replacing a small, corroded valve that was attached to the small line that went to our fridge. The work was finished promptly, for a fair price, and the entire area of piping looks much more professional than before he started.

    Excellent customer service, hot water heater did not work, technician brought a brand new one. Called a few competitors and they quoted me almost double the price, and could not come out until later in the week. This happened over the holidays and it was imperative that we had hot water in our home during this time of year. I called Goodman plumbing was greeted by a friendly staff and they promised to handle my needs the same day. In addition their pricing was very fair. Two men arrived Stan and another employee arrived promptly and not only were they friendly but efficient. They were in and out and solved my problem. Very happy and satisfied customer.

    Ive hired Goodman plumbing a few times in the past, and Ive had good experiences. So when I discovered a water leak in my basement ceiling on a Saturday night, I called them Sunday morning. Within a few hours, Zac came to the house. After about only 2 hours, he had found and fixed the problem (leaking water supply to refrigerator). I now have a shut off valve for the supply which wasnt there before, and copper instead of plastic tubing. He was great to work with, and quoted what I think was an extremely reasonable price, especially considering it was a weekend. Highly recommended.

    The service was great. One guy came out to evaluate my problem the day I called them, and then we got a contract in place as soon as we could. I needed my water service line replaced, so we were at the mercy of the city to get the permit processed, but they got here as soon as they could. The crew that came was very nice, answered all my questions, and were very helpful. Goodman spoke to the insurance company and gave them all the information needed to ensure that my basement water damages were covered. They were very transparent and communicative throughout the process. I couldnt have asked for better service. I recommend them to anyone.

    We called Goodman Plumbing for water coming through the ceiling below a bathroom in our rental. Roman was terrific and identified that it wasnt a plumbing leak but he did find a badly corroded pipe which could have become a major problem later. He not only replaced it but improved the connections and added a better ball joint valve. His craftsmanship was top notch. He was kind to the tenants and showed them how to prevent the problem in the future. We will for sure call again if we need plumbing help in the future.

    Goodman Plumbing is my go to company for anything plumbing or hvac. This June they replaced the pipes, faucets, washer hookups and utility sinks, replaced the house shut off valve in the house, replaced the shut off valve out in the driveway, and replaced the water heater. I had an emergency where our service line broke, leading to flooding in our basement - all with a month old baby at home.     We love Goodman Pumbing! A few years ago, the city told us we needed to have our connection to the water main repaired and Goodman did a great job. Last Fall, because of a mistake our neighbor made, our basement flooded and within 30 min, Goodman had someone at our house to diagnose the problem. Most recently, Boris, Roman, Vitaly, and Dan removed an old furnace and installed a new tankless water heater in our basement. The project was scheduled for an entire day on the Friday before a holiday weekend, but the guys were very polite, had great attitudes, and were very focused (they werent able to leave until after 5pm). We had not prepared the space as well as we shouldve but they very nicely moved our heavy stuff out of the way, answered all of our questions, and left our basement cleaner than they found it.     We had Goodman plumbing and heating come out on January 3rd to drop off our new air conditioner and furnace, that would be replaced the next day. Their subcontractor left our back yard gate unlatched when we have signs posted and both of our dogs got out. The one dog was hit by a car and died due to the negligence of the subcontractor of Goodman leaving our gate open. My fiancé has been in contact with Stan and Stan is refusing to rectify the situation, saying that his insurance company isnt going to pay, then refusing to give up their insurance information. We than got ahold of Nick (this mans a god sent) rectified the situation immediately and gave compensation for our loss and the sub contractors negligence. We then just called them out last week, our air conditioner was making a loud noise its brand new, they fixed the problem. Thank you Goodman and Nick for everything.

    Goodman Plumbing came out to my house two days ago. My water heater was just starting to leak so a new one was in need. They were super expedient and had someone at my house in a little over two hours. After the job was done I had a few issues with the work the plumber did so I called the office to express my concerns. Once Goodman found out I was not pleased with the service provided, I received a call from Nick H. He apologized on behalf of the plumber. He was shocked and upset that I didnt receive the absolute best service and he wanted to make things right.Nick sent two new plumbers to my house to give the water heater a second look and fix everything I was unhappy with. They also installed a carbon monoxide detector free of charge. Nick gave my husband his personal phone number and told him to call anytime in regards to the current issue, or anything else in the future. Not only that, he also gave us a partial refund to compensate for the experience. He let us know that he valued and cared about us as customers.Nothing is perfect all the time. Sometimes things go wrong. What makes the difference in situations like that is to be heard, respected, and made whole. Goodman Plumbing did all of those things! I have never had such a high level of customer service. For that reason, I will use Goodman in the future as well as recommend them to my family and friends.

    I had a great experience with Goodman Plumbing. I called to make an appointment to have my water heater examined due to some noises it was making. Right away, the person who answered the phone was professional and courteous, and helped me make an appointment for a convenient time.     There was a terrible leak resulting in extreme damage at my rental property. I live out of state and resolving the situation was complicated at best. My own personal chaos, access issues, electricity issues, water revenue bureau issues forced Goodman to make multiple trips to my property. Traveling from out of state after having a newborn baby caused me to cancel and reschedule repeatedly, often with very little notice. Goodman remained sympathetic to my situation and was continuously patient with me until we got to the root of the problem. They gave me a detailed analysis of the problem and when it manifested as an appliance issue (washer/dryer) and not plumbing, they refused to let me pay them for their INCREDIBLE service. Despite all of their efforts and all of their time that I flagrantly wasted, Goodman treated me like a valued customer.Goodman plumbers are intensely knowledgeable, highly skilled and have not forgot how to treat their customers like humans. When I actually need a plumbing company, they will be my first call... if theyll have me back!

    Goodman Plumbing is excellent. We originally called them to vet a potential water heater leak before leaving on vacation (wasnt leaking thankfully).     Goodmans originally came out in November to clear a clogged drain line. Within in 2 months they came back out to fix it again gratis. There was hole in the main drain stack line. This was the source of the flooding in basement. They immediately came to evaluate it and st up time to repair, while making sure the clamp would hold until then.Zack came out today and was able to repair the pipes in 30 min.Nick was super responsive was I was concerned that the drain kept clogging and didn’t hand off the ticket until he was sure I was satisfied.     You never know when you will need a plumber for a hot water heater that suddenly decides to start to leak. Late at night I made 7 calls to every local place that says 24-hour service, everyone is busy I get it but when you say can we do first service call 7am, they go well we will have to see, that being said already frustrated, no water in my house and a leaking hot water heater. Goodman answered my call from last night at 1 am 5:30 this morning I asked can I have a service call at 7 am, I never heard no or let me see and call you back, owner said yes let me call my guy, you want 7 am call ?     A year ago I had a hot water heater installed by another company; they did a terrible job and ultimately cost me thousands of dollars. This Saturday, the water heater made a sound so explosive it sounded like a bomb. I went downstairs and saw that this explosion actually blew the control panel door off of the water heater. Concerned that it might literally explode, I called Goodman Plumbing as they had come to the rescue previously when this horribly installed appliance left me without hot water for five days.It took less than five minutes - literally - from the time I made the call to when Sean, one of Goodmans skilled plumbers, made it to my house. Less than five minutes on a Saturday to respond to a call. He went over everything, made sure the device would be safe and pointed out the dangerous way the water heater had been connected to the main heating source. He was the third person to do this, so it wasnt about a sale. We agreed that this water heater would remain problematic and never allow me more than a few weeks peace and that it was better to install another one, which he was prepared to do the very next day, even though it was a Sunday. He actually came with a team on Monday afternoon, so I could still put in a full day of work. Even an amateur like me can tell how much more workmanship went into the installation - and for less money than the original water heater cost.Sean made sure I understood everything about how the heater was installed and how to work it. He taught me how to safely turn off the gas if I ever felt there could be a problem. He explained the process and didnt leave until I understood what had been done. In short, he treated me like a valued customer, and more importantly, a valued person. Everyone I have met from Goodman Plumbing has been caring, respectful and supremely competent.     I had used Goodman plumbing for other services in the past, including replacing our HVAC. Our water heater started going on and off. Unfortunately, our home had a water heater brand that Goodman Plumbing did not service, so I had to call another supposedly reputable company. They recommended replacing the two thermostats and the two heating elements for an amount that seemed awfully high. They then said to replace the whole system would cost $3k. I immediately called Goodman back, and Nick came out to evaluate the issue. As theyve done in the past, they were detailed, responsive to my many questions, and direct in the price. Nick was able to get the water heater replaced for half the price quoted by the other company and that same day. It means a lot to have a company that I can trust. I guess every company has good and bad reviews, but I rarely write a review on Google or anywhere else. Nick asked if Id be open to doing so and it speaks to the experience working with him and Goodman that Im doing so.

    I have used Goodman at two houses. At my last house they fixed many a winter pipe, replaced tub assembly and replaced a boiler and tons of other work. At my new house they installed a water powered backup sump pump. I’m always amazed by their service from the folks working the phones to the actual plumbers who come out. They are always professional and willing to talk shop so you can learn a little bit from them. I highly, highly recommend them!
